Tell Senate Republicans: Don’t Go Nuclear!

The fight over the confirmation of Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch has heated up tremendously and is coming to a head this week. At this point, 42 Democratic Senators have announced their opposition to Gorsuch and to voting for cloture on the nomination -- meaning they can continue debating the nomination and not have it brought to a final vote. But Senate Republicans would rather break the rules and eliminate the 60-vote bar, than roll up their sleeves and help to find a nominee who isn’t an extreme right-wing candidate chosen for Trump by far-right organizations.
