Kevin McCarthy's Wife Says She Is Losing Her 'Right To Be A Christian'

David Brody has been teasing out clips of an interview he did this week with House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and his wife, Judy. At one point in the interview, she played into the Religious Right’s persecution narrative by claiming that Christians like herself are losing their freedom of religion.

“People are sympathetic to different things and different causes, but when you bring up Christian, there is no sympathy whatsoever. They do not think you should be able to have that belief,” she said. “You’re not pushing that on someone else, it’s your own belief, you’re living it, I’ve never seen it the way it is now, I do think it is really scary actually, I think that they don’t want you to have the right to be a Christian.”

Allen West: 'Barack Hussein Obama Is An Islamist'

Former congressman Allen West writes today that President Obama is siding with extremist groups like ISIS because he supports their goal of building an Islamic caliphate.

Why wouldn’t the Obama administration allow Kurdish Peshmerga members to come to America and receive flight training so they could be given quality helicopter gunships and destroy ISIS? Can anyone explain what the strategy and objective is here in lifting this ban with a nation that is or should be on the terrorist watch list?

Sorry, but I can only explain this one way: Barack Hussein Obama is an Islamist in his foreign policy perspectives and supports their cause. You can go back and listen to his 2009 speech in Cairo, where Muslim Brotherhood associates were seated front and center.

All the circumstantial and anecdotal evidence points to that conclusion. The pivot away from the Middle East seems to be nothing more than an opportunity to enable Islamists and their goals. Anyone supporting this Libyan ban being lifted is indeed an enemy of this state.

The Obama administration’s foreign policy doctrine is self-described as “don’t do stupid s@#t”. But I guess that all depends on what your ultimate goal is.

He told Frank Gaffney yesterday that not only does Obama have an “Islamist perspective and viewpoint,” but so does Hillary Clinton. West alleged that the former secretary of state “never spoke out against” a proposed UN resolution barring religious defamation, which Clinton did in fact denounce as an attack on the freedom of speech.

RNC's Chad Connelly: 'God's Got A Home' In The GOP

RNC faith director Chad Connelly said during a recent interview with David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network that Republicans aren’t moving away from conservative stances on issues like marriage equality. In fact, Connelly said that the GOP adopted “the most pro-faith, pro-family, best platform ever put in in Republican Party or political party history down in Tampa in 2012.”

“The Republican Party is the natural home for people of faith,” he said. “This is the place where God’s got a home.”

Connelly also misrepresented the 2012 Democratic National Convention by claiming that delegates there “booed” God.

If only more people cast their ballots based on biblical values, he explained, then Republicans would win more elections.

Alex McFarland: Homosexuality Is Satanic, Cuts Life Expectancy By Twenty Years

James Dobson invited Anne Paulk and Alex McFarland to discuss homosexuality this week on his radio show “Family Talk,” and as you could imagine they were not exactly happy with the rise of gay rights in America.

On the third and final broadcast, McFarland made the case that “clearly homosexuality is a destructive behavior,” citing “the actuarial charts of life insurance companies show that gay men live twenty years less than their heterosexual counterparts.” The claim that gay people live twenty years less than straight peers refers to a study conducted in the late 1980s and early 1990s during the AIDS crisis, and one of the authors claims that their research has been “ grossly misrepresented” by anti-gay activists.

McFarland went on to claim that Satan is using gay and transgender identity to “debase and devalue and harm the ones made in God’s image.”

Dobson also used the program to swear that he has “never said anything hateful to a homosexual” or “tried to increase that pain and that rejection.”

Gay Games Participants 'Force Themselves On People,' 'Celebrate Immoral And Dangerous Behavior'

Janet Porter is not pleased that Cleveland Republicans are “working to undermine marriage and family values” and “throwing the moral principles of the party platform under the bus,” referring to the Cuyahoga County GOP’s outreach work at the Cleveland-Akron Gay Games.

“Chairman Rob Frost released a statement about how thrilled he was to welcome the homosexual, lesbian and cross-dressing community into the Republican tent, they even paid for a booth at the Gay Games to celebrate immoral and dangerous behavior from a community that seeks to silence dissent and criminalize Christianity,” the Faith 2 Action and ReaganBook founder said today during her daily radio bulletin.

Phil Burress of the Ohio-based Citizens for Community Values is also worried that participating athletes will use the Gay Games to “force themselves on people”:

A pro-family activist says homosexual activists and their "Gay Games" will fail to turn Ohio into a mecca for homosexuals.

Beginning on Saturday, downtown Cleveland will host "Gay Games 9," which will run through August 16. Normally the event is held in more so-called "gay friendly" cities suchas Boston or Los Angeles.

Phil Burress, chairman of the Citizens for Community Values, notes that homosexuals are one percent of the population.

"And so there are going to be a lot of people in Cleveland who are not going to like what's happening," he says. "But this is typical of their behavior, to force themselves on people."

Burress says there have been negative reactions to the "Gay Games," including from Muslim car drivers who refused to drive with advertising that promotes the games.

Burress believes many people will keep their distance from the so-called "Gay Games."

WorldNetDaily Can't Get Their Obama Conspiracy Theories Straight

It has been quite amusing to watch right-wing activists label President Obama a pawn of both Iran and Saudi Arabia, even though the governments of the two countries are longtime regional rivals, while also being a sympathizer (or follower) of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is despised by the Saudis and the Iranian-aligned Assad regime of Syria.

So how could Obama somehow be a pawn of all of these groups despite their very different interests, rivalries, and goals?

Let right-wing activist Clare Lopez explain — or at least try to explain — in a WorldNetDaily interview yesterday about how it all makes sense:

But why, WND asked, would Obama have threatened to bomb Assad last summer for his alleged use of chemical weapons, if he wanted to see Iran’s influence spread?

That brought her to what she described as the biggest problem in the big picture, the influence of the jihadist group the Muslim Brotherhood over the U.S. government.

Lopez said Obama only threatened Assad, “because of the infiltration of his government by the Muslim Brotherhood, who are clamoring in his ear at the National Security Council, ‘Do something, do something.’”

They wanted help for their Muslim Brotherhood brothers. But the Middle East and Syria is designated for Iran, so what’s Obama gonna do? He decided on half and half. Give the Muslim Brotherhood Sunnis a little bit of aid, but not enough to overturn Assad. Make the Brotherhood happy. But don’t overturn Assad. And, at the same time, back and support Iran to be the hegemon.

Lopez said, in addition to infiltrating the administration, the Brotherhood has established influence over many branches of the federal government over the last few decades.

So there you have it: Obama wants to overthrow the Assad regime to please his anti-Assad puppet masters, but doesn’t want to try too hard in order to please Iran.

Everybody wins, or in this case, loses.

Tony Perkins: Obama Using Common Core To 'Attack Religious Values And Freedoms'

Tony Perkins today emailed members of the Family Research Council a conspiratorial message on the supposed dangers of Common Core, or as he calls it, “Obamacore.”

He warns that Common Core is pushing “attacks on religious values and freedoms” and using “propaganda” to ensure that “children are indoctrinated with a liberal ideology that celebrates sexual perversion, worships the creation rather than the Creator, all at the expense of academic achievement and our nation’s Christian heritage.”

We wonder if Mike Huckabee, a close ally of the FRC leader and a top figure in the Religious Right, is aware that Common Core is a liberal, anti-Christian plot, as Huckabee joined other GOP figures in calling on states to adopt the Common Core standards.

In just a few short weeks, millions of American students will head back to school. You should be very concerned about the spreading, hidden nightmare facing them in school today: public schools, private, religious, even home schools.

I'm not talking about bullies, playground predators, or school violence; I'm referring to . . .

The morally corrupt federal takeover of education called Common Core -- or as I prefer to call it -- OBAMACORE.

Common Core was originally an effort by the National Governors Association (NGA) to create national standards and tests to unify what children are taught in school. These standards were adopted by 45 states. Seems harmless enough, right? Wrong!

Since it's been hijacked by the Obama administration, Common Core has all the earmarks of the President's other power grabs: attacks on religious values and freedoms; central control; secrecy; skyrocketing costs; and catastrophic ineptitude.

It essentially takes away the rights of parents and local communities to direct their children's education and puts it under the control of an ever-expanding federal bureaucracy. Obamacore can -- and must -- be stopped!

Yes, stopped. Family Research Council (FRC) needs your help to advance our plan to expose and derail this disaster for our children!

If Obamacore is allowed to take control of America's educational system, I foresee a nation where children are indoctrinated with a liberal ideology that celebrates sexual perversion, worships the creation rather than the Creator, all at the expense of academic achievement and our nation's Christian heritage.

All indications are that the standards imposed by Obamacore will actually hamper education rather than improve it.

Obamacore opens education to even more propaganda in class than we are experiencing today. Its "one-size-fits-all" approach not only eliminates more advanced material, but also makes it difficult for teachers to teach students individually. Typical of other liberal programs, rather than raise up underperformers, Obamacore will lower standards of higher-performing states in order to "level the playing field."

The only way to save American education is for parents to take back the reins of control. That's why FRC has made it a top priority to work state by state and in Congress to save local education from the federal control lurking behind Obamacore.

• We have started a special coalition headed by nationally recognized educational and legal expert, Sarah Perry.

• FRC is providing conservative legislators at the federal and state levels, school administrators, teachers, and parents with key research that conclusively proves that this federal takeover will do more harm than good.

FRC helps give elected officials the information they need to build a compelling case with their colleagues to dismantle Obamacore, or at the state level, opt out.

Needless to say, the time to act is short and the costs of opposing Obamacore are mounting quickly.

No one will be exempt.

The future of America's children is at stake. As Christian citizens, we must never relinquish the education of our children to the federal government, which already has an abysmal track record wherever it has inserted itself.

In the past, parents concerned about what is being taught in the public schools could always resort to private schools or home schooling. Not anymore! The Obamacore standards will impact charter schools, parochial schools, and even parents who teach their children at home. Join with FRC to stop Washington radicals from taking over American education.

Rick Wiles: Maybe Obama Works For The CIA… Or Great Britain… Or Russia… Or Saudi Arabia

Rick Wiles is pretty sure that President Obama is a “foreign plant” who was put in office by Saudi Arabia in order to destroy America. But maybe it wasn’t Saudi Arabia after all, as yesterday on “Trunews,” Wiles and right-wing documentary filmmaker Joel Gilbert wondered if President Obama — along with his entire family — secretly works for the CIA, Great Britain, or Russia, or maybe all three, who knows!

“This guy, he works for somebody,” Wiles insisted.

Wiles and Gilbert did agree that progressives view President Obama as God.

“When the leader of Heaven on Earth is God on Earth, anything he says is automatically true so that’s why he’s not questioned by most of the media and most people and you just accept whatever he says and report on it. It’s the same as the times of the Soviet Union or Mao, anything they say is simply reported without question, and that was the phenomenon with Obama,” Gilbert explained.

Later in the broadcast, Wiles returned to his original conspiracy theory that Obama is a secret Islamist: “He’s clearly been placed here by some mysterious power, I personally have come to the conclusion that he is a covert jihadist, I believe that what this man is practicing is jihad.”

Mat Staver: Refusing To Oppose Gay Marriage Like Keeping Silent About The Holocaust

Mat Staver, the head of Liberty Counsel and dean of the Liberty University School of Law, criticized Republican politicians who have been largely mum as a string of federal court rulings have knocked down bans same-sex marriage, including one affecting Liberty University’s home state of Virginia.

He likened such politicians, and those who support marriage equality, to those who were silent in Nazi Germany during the Holocaust. Staver told Radio America host Greg Corombos yesterday that officials who don’t speak out against marriage equality will be harshly judged:

I think from the political right, the Republicans and so forth, those that are Republican elected officials state and federal, those who remain silent will ultimately be held accountable just as much as Democrats who advocate to the contrary. This is not an issue in which you can remain silent any more than you can remain silent during Nazi Germany. That was a moral issue, it was not defined by geography, there was a moral imperative there of the dignity of the human being, you can’t remain silent there and expect no consequences. Nor can you remain silent or advocate to the contrary with regards to the undermining of marriage as a union of a man and a woman.

Predicting that the Supreme Court would eventually take up the case, he said a ruling in favor of marriage equality would be just as invalid as a court striking down the laws of gravity.

“In world history, even when you look at the Greeks and how promiscuous they were, you only have fourteen years outside of the United States and ten years in the United States with this dangerous experiment, so I think no matter what the courts do, you can’t change what is reality, objectively so, male and female,” he added.

Erik Rush: Gays Aligned With ISIS

WorldNetDaily pundit Erik Rush writes today that gay rights activists and ISIS are both persecuting Christians, just with “a different methodology.” While ISIS is attempting to carry out an anti-Christian genocide, Rush claims that gay people in America are using the “gratuitous proliferation of homoerotica” to push “the disenfranchisement of Christians.”

“Progressive power players hate Christians because we threaten their power, and the true-believing useful idiots hate Christians because they’ve been taught that we wish to place impediments upon their freedom to be self-destructive, unregenerate hedonists,” he writes.

“It says a lot that so many liberal Americans have decided to stand with abject animals, men who are capable of the most heinous, disgusting, depraved war crimes imaginable, and against their own countrymen and women who happen to be Christians.”

“Obama has more than a nodding acquaintance with all things gay,” Rush says while linking to a WND article about Obama’s secret “gay life” and also claiming Obama is a Muslim: “Finally, addressing the Islamist horde that has promised to raise its flag over the White House: In a sense, it has already been done.”

But Rush has a solution: “Now more than ever, I believe it is apparent that progressivism cloaks with its innocuousness and faux egalitarianism a doctrine that should be stigmatized and disenfranchised, employing the same commitment with which we addressed segregationism.”

What I’d like to concentrate on at the moment is that the majority of the unfortunates in Iraq who are facing this genocide are Christians. Indeed, the majority of those being horribly persecuted by Muslims in nations across the Middle East and parts of Africa are Christians.

In America, we are seeing a different methodology being used to disenfranchise Christians, but rest assured, many of the principals and operatives are the same people. Last week, President Obama took a break from his strenuous schedule of fundraising, golf and vacationing to make a surprise video appearance at the opening ceremonies of the 2014 Gay Games in Cleveland. Obama went out of his way to recognize the persecution of homosexuals in other countries, America’s openness and the acceptance of gays being part of the “very idea” of America.

It isn’t necessary at this time to belabor the fact Obama has more than a nodding acquaintance with all things gay, but I found this conspicuous display somewhat curious in light of the recent Centers of Disease Control, or CDC, survey that revealed less than three percent of Americans identify as homosexual. Given the messages we get from activists, the press, government and entertainment media, one would think the number was 10 times as high. Given their miniscule numbers, homosexuals certainly don’t warrant Obama’s attention as an election-making segment of the Democrats’ base.

So why has there been such an imperative around the inculcation of homosexuality into our culture? Activists would tell you they’re just stumping for the rights of homosexuals, but that’s twaddle. Were that the case, it wouldn’t take the wholesale indoctrination and attempts at the normalization of homosexuality we see daily. There’s little doubt that you’ve encountered the gratuitous proliferation of homoerotica in dramatic and even comedic films and television. The news media are replete with accounts of the parents of grade-school children objecting to the inclusion of homosexual materials in educational curricula, and one would be hard-pressed to find any news or entertainment media offering that frames any homosexual in a bad light. Were Jeffrey Dahmer to come on the scene in 2014, I would wager his sexuality would be avoided by the press with the utmost adroitness.

As always, any objection to these trends risks one being branded a “homophobe.”

Well, the imperative I mentioned earlier has nothing to do with the rights of homosexuals; it isn’t even the promotion of societal dysfunction, although that is an ancillary benefit. The objective – as we have seen in Europe – is the disenfranchisement of Christians. And it isn’t just that a Christian society is more morally grounded than a secular one and thus more difficult to control – although this is true – but there’s another factor involved.

And that is hate.

Those on the political left hate Christians; their proclivity for perennially calling Christians haters is of course pure projection. Progressive power players hate Christians because we threaten their power, and the true-believing useful idiots hate Christians because they’ve been taught that we wish to place impediments upon their freedom to be self-destructive, unregenerate hedonists.

Coming full circle, we note with some irony that those true-believing useful idiots on the left – some of them homosexual themselves – share the same big tent with another political special interest and beneficiary of progressives’ largesse: Muslims, those who would just as readily and just as severely persecute homosexuals, women, children and, of course, non-Muslims in America as they are doing in Iraq.

It says a lot that so many liberal Americans have decided to stand with abject animals, men who are capable of the most heinous, disgusting, depraved war crimes imaginable, and against their own countrymen and women who happen to be Christians, and against our ally Israel. Now more than ever, I believe it is apparent that progressivism cloaks with its innocuousness and faux egalitarianism a doctrine that should be stigmatized and disenfranchised, employing the same commitment with which we addressed segregationism. Damn the craven, the ignoramuses and the deluded with their assorted “phobe” indictments. We’re playing for keeps.

Finally, addressing the Islamist horde that has promised to raise its flag over the White House: In a sense, it has already been done. Considering the degree to which Barack Obama has enabled Islamists worldwide both overtly and covertly, his insinuation of Islamist operatives into our government, the chaotic situation on our southern border and our immigration policy in general, American progressives may get to test that “big tent” allegiance to their Islamist friends sooner than they think.
