Alex Jones: Trump On The Verge Of Winning California And New York, According To His Unskewed Polls

Far-right radio host and Donald Trump fan Alex Jones posted a message on YouTube yesterday urging InfoWars viewers to sign up as election observers for Trump’s campaign, alleging that Hillary Clinton is bent on stealing the presidential election.

While polls show Trump trailing in swing states and losing to Clinton by massive margins in states like New York and California, two states that Trump has said in the past that he could win in the general election, Jones said that such polls are simply “fake polls” fabricated by the liberal media. (A poll by the conservative Breitbart and Gravis Marketing also found Trump losing to Clinton).

Jones claimed that “Donald Trump is doing his own internal polling with some of the top, bipartisan pollers in the country.”

Jones explained: “So he’s announcing, ‘Hey, I’ve got my own internal polling showing I’m ahead in Ohio by seven points; showing I’m ahead in Pennsylvania by about 10 points; showing I’m ahead in Florida in some internal polls by 15, and these are real random polls; showing in some polls Trump is three points ahead in California, margin of error, dead heat…. Ladies and gentlemen, internal polls, not by just the Trump campaign but by other major institutions, show Trump on average, seven points ahead in basically California strongholds for the Democrats, New York, that’s why they are crapping their pants.”

Jones, a Trump ally who frequently hosts Trump confidant Roger Stone on his show, has frequently promoted the conspiracy theory, as have Trump and Stone, that the polls showing a Clinton lead are fabricated in order to pave the way for a rigged election.

Trump trails in every single state that Jones mentioned, at least according to publicly available polling, and not the Trump internal polls that Jones claims exist.

“Donald Trump is our general, we are modern Paul Reveres and it’s time to get out there and be involved,” he later added. “I intend to be a poll watcher myself and I intend to be out there doing exit polls, my patriotic duty.”

Breitbart Tries To Run An Unskewed Poll, Still Finds Trump Behind

Back in 2012, Mitt Romney was reportedly “shellshocked” by his loss to President Obama. “I don't think there was one person who saw this coming,” one adviser said.

Public polling largely showed Romney trailing Obama in key swing states, but Romney’s team “believed the public/media polls were skewed - they thought those polls oversampled Democrats and didn't reflect Republican enthusiasm.” Indeed, many other conservative activists similarly predicted a Romney victory based on the “unskewed” versions of polling results.

While the “unskewing” obviously didn’t work, it seems that Republicans haven’t learned their lesson, as now conservative activists and the GOP presidential nominee himself are once again claiming that the polls are skewed in favor of Democrats.

The pro-Trump website Breitbart decided to conduct its own poll with Gravis Marketing, a conservative polling firm, according to editor-in-chief Alex Marlow , because “polls are often manipulated and spun to create momentum for a particular candidate or issue” and Breitbart wants “to give our readers an accurate assessment on where the American people stand on the key topics and people of the day—without the mainstream media filter.”

Unfortunately, the Breitbart poll only confirmed what other polling outlets have reported: Donald Trump is trailing Hillary Clinton.

Democratic nominee Hillary R. Clinton leads in a four-way contest with 42 percent of the vote, compared to Donald J. Trump with 37 percent, Libertarian Gary Johnson with 9 percent, and 3 percent for Green Party nominee Dr. Jill Stein, according to a Breitbart/Gravis national poll conducted Aug. 9 with 2,832 likely voters.

While Doug Kaplan of Gravis offered his best attempt at spinning the results, it seems that even Breitbart’s attempt to run its own poll failed to find Trump in the lead. However, Trump may take relief in knowing that Gravis has been strongly criticized for its record of inaccurate polling.

Trump, who during the primary season couldn’t go a day without boasting about his poll numbers, now attacks the polls as “phony” and insists that the only way he could lose by Pennsylvania, where he trails by a wide margin, would be “if cheating goes on.” (Voter fraud conspiracy theorists have often leveled bogus claims that the practice occurs in Pennsylvania and nationwide.)

Trump also claims that the entire election may be rigged by massive voter fraud and has encouraged supporters to sign up to be election observers to “stop Crooked Hillary from rigging the election!” He similarly claimed that voter fraud helped Democrats win the 2012 election.

His allies have taken up the charge.

Greta Van Susteren of Fox News wondered if her own network’s poll was biased against Trump, doubting that the GOP nominee is trailing Clinton since his rallies are “big.” Van Susteren’s Fox News colleague Sean Hannity said “Democrats use the liberal media to manipulate and discourage conservatives from voting” and expressed confidence that Trump will win because he’s “doing much better on social media.”

Both Hannity and Breitbart cited the same story from the conservative blog Gateway Pundit, which found that “Trump will win in a landslide” because “Trump has nearly double the amount of ‘Likes’ that Clinton has!

Trump confidant Roger Stone charged that the polls are skewed to help Clinton in order to hide the fact that she is planning to steal the election, saying that Trump supporters should prepare for protests and a potential “bloodbath” after the election. Trump ally Alex Jones also declared that unskewed polls and Facebook “Likes” prove that Trump is headed for a landslide victory:

If only Facebook “Likes” counted as votes.

Joseph Farah: Obama May Seek Third Term By Indicting Hillary

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah is obsessed with the conspiracy theory that President Obama intends to remain in office indefinitely, writing yet another column today in his signature just asking the question style about how Obama may remain president past his second term.

In the latest version of his claim, Farah alleges that Obama may have Hillary Clinton indicted over the relationship between the State Department and the Clinton Foundation after she wins the presidential election.

That way, he says, Obama “will create a constitutional crisis” and attempt to stay in the White House.

So what if – and it’s a big “if” – Obama is holding something back? Suppose he has actually authorized a probe of what she did as secretary of state to benefit herself and the Clinton Foundation.

Is it possible he might use the findings – and, believe me, they are not hard to find – to indict her between Election Day and Jan. 17, while he is still president?

If she is indicted on serious charges, she will not be permitted to take the oath of office. Neither will Tim Kaine be permitted to assume the office of the president because he will not yet be vice president.

The whole thing will create a constitutional crisis. The next in line, House Speaker Paul Ryan, will not be allowed to assume the presidency, either, because there is a sitting president.

If this admittedly unlikely and far-fetched scenario occurs, it will demonstrate that Obama has been planning it for quite some time. That’s why I’m telling you about the remote possibility now.

Had Hillary been indicted during the campaign, as she should have been, this whole scenario would not have been possible. The Democrats would have been forced to nominate another candidate – probably Bernie Sanders. Of course, we know the Democratic Party establishment would not have allowed that under any circumstances.

Think about it.

Michael Savage: 'Demonic' Obama Turning America 'Into A Muslim Nation'

Yesterday, conservative talk show host Michael Savage railed against nonprofit groups involved in resettling refugees, claiming that they are only interested in “raking in the money that’s being thrown at them by the federal government under that demon in the White House, Barack Obama, who wants the country fundamentally transformed into a Muslim nation, he wants it looking like Indonesia rather than like America.”

“The man is demonic in his desire to alter the landscape of this country in a way that no one will ever believe happened,” he said, adding that African Americans “are going to be the biggest losers of Obama’s policies.”

Savage said that “the progressive haters of America have sold us the false notion that multiculturalism is a good thing” and “we are being overrun by invaders, not immigrants; they refuse to learn the language, they hate the culture, they spit on the American flag, they don’t know what the Bill of Rights means and they can care less.”

He regretted that immigrants today aren’t like the Sicilian immigrants of prior decades, despite the fact that Sicilian immigrants were once maligned in the same manner that Savage attacks other immigrants and refugees.

Larry Klayman: America Is Headed Towards An All-Out Revolution, Race War And Gender War

On Wednesday, Larry Klayman appeared on Newsmax to discuss his lawsuit against Hillary Clinton over the 2012 Benghazi attack, alleging that even congressional Republicans are part of a “giant cover-up” of what happened in Benghazi.

Klayman, who has repeatedly called for the overthrow of the Obama administration through a mass uprising or a military coup, even staging a failed “Second American Revolution” in front of the White House, claimed that America is headed towards another revolution against the government.

Later, when asked about former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland’s recent comment about Justice Scalia’s death, Klayman said that “the left in this country is evil.”

“The political leftist elite wants to turn this country into a highly socialist state,” he said. “They are disrespectful towards the police, they have incited violence to kill the police and frankly they are destroying this country. It’s a war. It’s a war between left and right. They’ve created a race war, regrettably, between black and white. Hillary Clinton is about ready to do it between men and women.”

He went on to accuse George Soros and Media Matters of trying to throw America into disarray, lamenting that “we are really sinking fast.”

Pat Buchanan: If Trump Loses, There Could Be A Revolution

In a column yesterday, Pat Buchanan warned that if Donald Trump loses the election in November, America could experience a revolution.

Buchanan, citing Trump’s recent suggestion that the election could be “rigged,” said that if Hillary Clinton defeats Trump, “would that not suggest there is something fraudulent about American democracy, something rotten in the state?”

“[T]he Republican electorate should tell its discredited and rejected ruling class: If we cannot get rid of you at the ballot box, then tell us how, peacefully and democratically, we can be rid of you?” he continued. “You want Trump out? How do we get you out? The Czechs had their Prague Spring. The Tunisians and Egyptians their Arab Spring. When do we have our American Spring?”

Buchanan then quoted John F. Kennedy’s remarks on U.S.-Latin American relations: “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”

“I’m afraid the election is going to be rigged,” Donald Trump told voters in Ohio and Sean Hannity on Fox News. And that hit a nerve.

“Dangerous,” “toxic,” came the recoil from the media.

Trump is threatening to “delegitimize” the election results of 2016.

Well, if that is what Trump is trying to do, he has no small point. For consider what 2016 promised and what it appears about to deliver.

This longest of election cycles has rightly been called the Year of the Outsider. It was a year that saw a mighty surge of economic populism and patriotism, a year when a 74-year-old socialist senator set primaries ablaze with mammoth crowds that dwarfed those of Hillary Clinton.

It was the year that a non-politician, Donald Trump, swept Republican primaries in an historic turnout, with his nearest rival an ostracized maverick in his own Republican caucus, Sen. Ted Cruz.

More than a dozen Republican rivals, described as the strongest GOP field since 1980, were sent packing. This was the year Americans rose up to pull down the establishment in a peaceful storming of the American Bastille.

But if it ends with a Clintonite restoration and a ratification of the same old Beltway policies, would that not suggest there is something fraudulent about American democracy, something rotten in the state?

Specifically, the Republican electorate should tell its discredited and rejected ruling class: If we cannot get rid of you at the ballot box, then tell us how, peacefully and democratically, we can be rid of you?

You want Trump out? How do we get you out?

The Czechs had their Prague Spring. The Tunisians and Egyptians their Arab Spring. When do we have our American Spring?

And if, as the polls show we might, we get Clinton – and TPP, and amnesty, and endless migrations of Third World peoples who consume more tax dollars than they generate, and who will soon swamp the Republicans’ coalition – what was 2016 all about?

Would this really be what a majority of Americans voted for in this most exciting of presidential races?

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable,” said John F. Kennedy.

Trump Adviser Michael Flynn: Islam Is A 'Cancer' And 'A Political Ideology' That 'Hides Behind Being A Religion'

Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn (Ret.), a Donald Trump adviser who was floated as a potential running mate before the GOP nominee eventually picked Mike Pence, delivered a speech in Dallas on Wednesday at a gathering for the group ACT! for America.

Flynn, who serves as an adviser to the anti-Muslim group, told the audience that Islam is “a cancer” and “a political ideology” that “definitely hides behind being a religion,” while also pushing a bogus rumor about creeping Sharia in Texas.

The Dallas Morning News reports:

The contents of Flynn's book, How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its Allies, was a main topic of discussion. He took special interest in discussing what he called the dangers of Shariah law in Texas.

"Islam is a political ideology," Flynn said. "It definitely hides behind being a religion."

Flynn said that earlier in the day he met with Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne, who has been a polarizing figure in the public debate over Islam and the treatment of Muslims since rumors of an illegal Shariah court at the Irving Islamic Center began spreading in 2015.

"Beth is incredibly brave," Flynn said. "Vote for her for anything."

He likened Islam, a religion with 1.6 billion adherents worldwide, to "a cancer" and said that documents recovered from terrorist organizations instruct followers to "get into the bloodstream of the opposition," which Flynn said means to attack Western nations.

Flynn described himself as a scholar of American history and of religion. He said he had focused many years of study on the influence of religion on the Founding Fathers.

"This Islamic ideology was something they wanted nothing to do with," he said.

Flynn also told the crowd that Bernie Sanders is “an avowed communist” and sidestepped an audience question about how the U.S. can “deport Muslims.”

Such remarks aren’t very surprising, as Trump himself has said that “Islam hates us” and that Muslims should be banned from “entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on.”

Flynn recently came under media scrutiny for his ties to Vladimir Putin and his retweet of an anti-Semitic message, which he later apologized for.

CBN Asks Donald Trump: Do You Think God Raised You Up For The Presidency?

Yesterday, Donald Trump gave an interview to the Christian Broadcasting Network following his speech at the American Renewal Project’s gathering in Orlando, a speech that received a rave review from CBN founder and “700 Club” host Pat Robertson.

CBN reporter Jenna Browder asked Trump the question that has been on everybody’s mind: “You know, a lot of Christians believe that you have been chosen for such a time as this. Do you believe that’s true? Have you ever considered that maybe this is a divine calling?”

“Well you know, I’ve heard that from others,” Trump said. “I’ve heard it from pastors. I’ve heard it from others. I don’t really want to think about it because it’s too big of a burden but I can say this, that if I can do what I’m saying I can do, and I’m not only talking with the military and building up and safety and security, you know, our country’s in such bad shape in so many ways.”

When Browder asked Trump how he would “protect” the “Christian business leaders” who “are getting attacked because they don’t want to support gay couples or they don’t want to provide services,” Trump spoke vaguely about what he had said in his speech.

Robertson, meanwhile, hailed Trump’s “refreshing” remarks, while alleging that the IRS is persecuting “conservative Christians.”

LGBT Rights Opponent Newt Gingrich To Address Log Cabin Republicans

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is scheduled to headline the Log Cabin Republicans’ Spirit of Lincoln event in September, despite a long history of opposition to LGBT rights.

While Gingrich, a confidant of Donald Trump and a favorite of Religious Right activists, may have softened his views on LGBT issues since his time in Congress and failed campaign for president, and has been open to at least supporting the legal recognition of same-sex relationships, his record speaks for itself. Gingrich has:

  • Warned about the threat of “a gay and secular fascism in this country that wants to impose its will on the rest of us, is prepared to use violence, is prepared to use harassment.”

The thrice-married Gingrich, it seems, has not viewed his own marital history as a reason to rethink his opposition to marriage equality, blaming his extramarital affairs on his patriotism.

The Log Cabin Republicans are mulling an endorsement of Trump, although the GOP presidential nominee has yet to meet with the group. Trump, however, is scheduled to speak to the anti-LGBT activists at the Values Voter Summit in September.

Trump: Church Attendance Will Rise When I'm President

In his typically incoherent way, Donald Trump told a meeting of right-wing pastors today that church attendance has declined in America “and a lot of it has to do with the fact that you’ve been silenced.”

“You’ve been silenced like a child has been silenced,” he told the pastors at an Orlando event organized by the American Renewal Projectmaking the bogus claim that pastors are barred from addressing political issues. “Your power has been totally taken away.”

Trump said that “they took away your voice” but he can restore it by repealing the Johnson Amendment, which he claimed will in turn increase church attendance.

He then expressed dismay that people don’t even know about the existence of Sunday school: “I mean Christianity, when you think of what’s happening and you look at the numbers, I talk about Sunday school and people don’t even know what I’m talking about anymore, it’s true, they don’t even know what I’m talking about.”

“We’re gonna bring it back because it’s a good thing, it’s a good thing,” he said“They treat it like it’s a bad thing but it’s a great thing, not a good thing, it’s a great thing.”
