Paul Vallely gave a rambling Election Day interview to “Trunews” host Rick Wiles yesterday, in which he called on Congress to move swiftly to impeach President Obama.
In fact, Vallely said that Obama and other administration officials should be put on trial for treason.
After Wiles alleged that “Barack Obama is a jihadist,” Vallely called the president a “radical Islamic sympathizer” who is guilty of “aiding and abetting the enemy.”
“This national security team needs to be tried for treason,” the retired Army general added.
Vallely told Wiles that Obama is “sympathetic to the Muslim radical Islam and the caliphate. It’s all very clear. You can see it, I can see it, others are seeing it, but the vast amount of American people seem to be blind against these threats to these United States. We’ve had ISIS that’s even been captured coming across our southern border into Texas.”
In an appearance on American Family Radio today, conservative talk show host Michael Savage warned that the U.S. has turned into Sodom and Gomorrah, helping to place us on the path to a civil war.
Savage, who is promoting his new book, “Stop the Coming Civil War” told his hosts at the American Family Association that a civil war in America is on the horizon because “people cannot take this anymore” and that the president may even consider stealing the midterm elections.
“We all know that the day of the masses believing that President Obama was discovered floating in a papyrus basket on the shores of Lake Michigan in the reeds is over, they no longer believes he was found floating in a papyrus basket and he was sent here to part the Red Sea for us. In fact, many have seen that he has actually created a Red Sea around us, and I don’t mean ‘red Republican and blue Democrat,’ I mean red communist,” he said. “There’s no question in my mind that this is the most totalitarian regime in American history.”
Later in the program, Savage said that America is no longer following the Bible, which he claimed “is the basis of our U.S. Constitution,” and now “we may as well be living in Sodom and Gomorrah. The Weimar Republic was mild compared to what this country has become.”
Today on “The 700 Club,” Pat Robertson and his co-host Terry Meeuwsen talked about children born with cleft palate and Down syndrome, the latter of whom Robertson referred to as “mongoloid” children.
“So you see these little children that we call mongoloid, you know, Down syndrome, sweet little children but the back part [of the head] hasn’t formed,” he said. “It’s a deformity, if you have a little girl, can you imagine having a big hole in the mouth?”
Earlier this year, Robertson advised a viewer to be careful against marrying her first cousin since “you don’t want to have some mongoloid child.”
Fox News commentator Todd Starnes said that Christians in America are “under attack” and are facing persecution reminiscent of Nazi Germany.
Starnes made the remarks in an interview posted yesterday with Jerry Newcombe on “Truth that Transforms.”
Newcombe, whose group, previously named Coral Ridge Ministries, created the right-wing thriller “Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger,” read Martin Niemöller’s poem “First They Came For The Socialists…” during the interview … but curiously dropped the poem’s lines about “socialists” and “trade unionists.”
Starnes noted that Christians in America are not facing “persecution” because they have not yet experienced violence, which is surprising coming from Starnes, since he has boasted that he’s “documented hundreds of instances of religious persecution in the United States. And the targets have been exclusively Christians.”
The Fox News pundit also once said that the Obama administration reminds him of “1930s Germany.”
False, misleading, racist, cynical and just plain strange campaign ads are nothing new in politics. But thanks to a recent string of court rulings gutting campaign finance regulations, such ads are now more plentiful than ever.
Thanks to this flood of spending, it probably won’t be long before the next round of outrageous campaign ads hits the airwaves. But in the meantime, we’re taking a look back at some of the best — and by “best” we mean “worst” — Republican campaign ads of the 2014 cycle.
5. Bibles & Guns, Bibles & Guns
Zach Dasher, nephew of “Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson, is hoping that his family’s newfound fame can help get him elected to the U.S. Congress this year. The Louisiana Republican wants to make it clear that he is for the Bible and guns and against all those government officials plotting to take them away any day now.
And what better person to convey that message than Phil Robertson himself, who says in an ad financed by Dasher’s campaign he is supporting his nephew’s congressional bid due to his brave pro-Bible, pro-guns stance.
4. Gay Marriage Afoot
The National Organization for Marriage has joined other Religious Right groups including the Susan B. Anthony List’s Women Speak Out PAC and the National Right to Life Committee in spending big in North Carolina in an effort to take down Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan.
NOM attacked Hagan for voting to approve a federal judge who overturned the state’s ban on same-sex marriage, while lauding her Republican opponent Thom Tillis for his opposition to marriage equality. Incidentally, Tillis hired NOM’s chairman John Eastman to help preserve the ban.
Judge Max Coburn Jr., as Jeremy Hooper notes, was confirmed by a 96-0 vote, meaning that Senate Republicans, including North Carolina’s Republican Sen. Richard Burr, also supported the judge that Religious Right activists have derided as a liberal activist.
After the Michigan GOP’s last Senate candidate drew criticism for running a racist ad during the Super Bowl, the party now seems to be playing it safe by sticking to pop culture references. In a new ad, “Gary Peters’ Loan Sharknado,” the state party suggests that Peters, a Democratic congressman running for the open Senate seat, has relied on the funding of a loan shark gangster.
The ad refers to Tomo Duhanaj, a restaurant owner convicted of loansharking, who contributed to Peters a total of $7,400 during the years before Peters’ Senate bid, and prior to Duhanaj’s arrest. “Federal records show the contributions to Peters were returned at the time of his arrest, on Aug. 3, 2012,” the Michigan website MLive.com notes.
In the end, the unintentionally hilarious ad may be more interesting than the flimsy attack itself.
2. Willie Horton Revisited
Rep. Lee Terry, R-Neb., backed the GOP’s government shutdown in 2013, but wanted to be clear that he thought he was still entitled to receive his paycheck. “Dang straight,” Terry said at the time. “I’ve got a nice house and a kid in college, and I’ll tell you we cannot handle it. Giving our paycheck away when you still worked and earned it? That's just not going to fly.”
Terry is now facing a tough re-election battle and needs what help he can get from the National Republican Congressional Committee, which is on the air in his district with an ad that many commentators are calling an updated version of the infamous 1988 Willie Horton ad.
The ad refers to a “good time” bill backed by Terry’s Democratic opponent Brad Ashford, along with every single member of Nebraska’s unicameral legislature and the state’s Republican governor, that was designed to reduce the sentences of some convicted criminals for good behavior in prison.
Nikko Jenkins, whose face is placed next to Ashford’s in the NRCC ad, is a diagnosed schizophrenic who murdered four people after he was released early from prison after serving time for an assault conviction.
“Vote Lee Terry guys, greatest Republican ever,” Jenkins shouted. “Vote for Lee Terry. He’s a great guy.”
1. My Opponent Funds Terrorists, Probably
If Georgia GOP Senate nominee David Perdue is to be believed, his Democratic opponent Michelle Nunn is funding radical Islamic terrorists … through former president George H.W. Bush’s Points of Light Foundation.
Before Nunn took the top job at Points of Light, the foundation had a business which allowed eBay users to donate part of their proceeds to a charity of their choice from a list of 20,000 nonprofit organizations. The list included Islamic Relief USA, which, according to Perdue and his allies at the conservative pro-corporate group Ending Spending Action Fund, is “tied to radical terrorists.”
Islamic Relief USA, which received about $13,500 through the eBay program, strongly denies that it is affiliated with terrorists and it in fact has ties with the U.S. government aid programs. As PolitFact notes, the group is “not on the U.S. government’s terrorist watch list.” Amazingly enough, Perdue’s campaign cited a Nunn campaign memo about possible false attacks against their candidate as proof that the attack was true.
Neil Bush, son of the former president, called Perdue’s charges against his father’s organization a “ridiculous” and “shameful” smear.
One Georgia columnist pointed out that a similar charity contribution program for federal employees also lists Islamic Relief USA, noting that if “Points of Life funds terrorism, then by the same distorted logic the U.S. government also funds terrorism.”
In fact, since Perdue is effectively linking George H.W. Bush to a terrorist funding scheme, and Perdue successfully sought Bush’s endorsement, then Perdue may be, according to his own campaign, implicating himself in terrorism!
Larry Klayman spoke to WorldNetDaily this weekend about his lawsuit demanding that President Obama impose a travel ban on people coming from West Africa, calling the refusal to impose such a ban a racist decision on Obama’s part.
Klayman told WND that Obama would never help white countries because he is dead-set on “furthering a type of reverse discrimination against people who are not African” and upholding his “affinity with Africa.”
“This president, in everything he does, wears his race on his sleeve,” Klayman continued. “And he’s furthering acts of terrorism because he’s opening the door to ISIS and other terrorists to infect themselves with Ebola and to come here and to spread it throughout this country.”
In an interview with talk radio host Lars Larson last week, conservative commentator Ann Coulter claimed that undocumented immigrant youth are to blame for an outbreak of enterovirus D68 in the U.S.
Coulter, citing her expertise as someone who frequently gets colds due to her heavy travel schedule, told Larson that when “you bring all these Third World peasants in and send them throughout the country, it’s not the Mexican kids dying or the Central American kids dying from this, it’s the Americans because they don’t have the immunities.”
Rev. Austin Miles took to Renew America on Halloween to warn that President Obama is getting ready to cancel the 2016 elections and “use Executive Privilege to declare himself President for Life.”
Warning that “Obama was hand-picked and groomed at an early age” by “his Communist handlers” to turn America “into a Marxist Socialist Nation controlled by Communist Czars,” Miles predicted that the president will stoke racial tensions in Ferguson, Missouri in order to create “a new civil war” and “a national race riot.”
Then, “Obama will declare a crisis” and make sure that “there will be no further presidential elections.”
Here is the intent: If Obama's scheme makes it through, there will be no further Presidential elections. This has been planned for a long, long time. One thing about the Communists, they are very patient as they quietly work toward the completion of a definitive goal ahead.
That goal, of course, is to see America turned into a Marxist Socialist Nation controlled by Communist Czars – and did you notice that the word "Czar" was never used in regards to government officer titles in the United States until Obama was placed on the throne? That term was only used in Communist Russia.
Obama was hand-picked and groomed at an early age. Born in Kenya, brought to America and put through the University, he was the ideal front runner for the new America. By him being black, and touted as The First Black President, his Communist handlers got it out that this would sooth "white guilt." To NOT vote for him would be classified as 'racism.' White Americans were made to feel guilty that they were white, whose ancestors enslaved blacks (so they were told). Then too, his handlers hammered through the media that anyone who disagreed with any of Obama's decisions was 'racist.' That was the ax in the hand.
One time after an especially horrendous mistake Obama made, which was addressed to letters to the editors, each would be followed with a rebuttal (carefully crafted) stating, "That writer can not stand the fact that a black man is in The White House."
The Communists are scheming for the Ferguson, Missouri incident to be the fuse that explodes into a national race riot. That is what Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are hoping to accomplish since this would put citizens at war with themselves in a new civil war while at the same time sapping the strength out of America, making her easier to control.
So how did the Communists manage to keep Obama's birth certificate and university papers (which listed him as a "foreign student") out of sight? As stated above, the Communists slowly managed to work their way into key positions in the U.S. Government, corporations, the schools, and even the churches. They were in a position to block any inquiries about Obama and to humiliate anyone who suggested that his paper work was flawed.
It is no secret that Obama's sponsors and pushers were and are, The Communist Party USA (CPUSA). These days, what was once kept in secret, is now in the open. They have inserted themselves into every facet of American Life and can gang up on critics or questioners. They also control the media.
After a lot of noise over his birthplace (which MUST be in the U.S. to run for president), Obama managed to produce a so-called long form birth certificate from Hawaii. I must have been the only one who looked at it carefully, and noticed some changes in font that would never be on a legal instrument. Furthermore, in the "race" box in the early 1960's (August 4, 1961)a black person born would NOT have been called an "African American." That came much later. The term used then was, "Negro." It was an absolute fake.
It is to be noted that I have seen the actual birth certificate from Kenya. I got into the site of the Kenyan newspaper and found it. Shortly after, that entire thing was scrubbed from the newspaper site.
And by the way, one who worked in the Hawaii statistics office died mysteriously.
If all works according to plan, there will be no further presidential elections. Obama will declare a crisis (he can pick from a large number of those) so he can use Executive Privilege to declare himself President for Life, which he fully intends to do.
Former congressman Tom Tancredo wants Republicans in Congress “to immediately file articles of impeachment against the president” if he uses executive action to block the deportation of some undocumented immigrants.
“If Republicans capture the majority in the U.S. Senate as now appears almost certain,” Tancredo explains in his weekend WorldNetDaily column, the GOP congressional leadership should gather the “courage to follow the Constitution and impeach the man.”
With President Obama determined to declare an executive amnesty program for 5 to 10 million illegal aliens soon after next week’s midterm elections, citizens across the nation are wondering what the Republican Party plans to do to stop it.
The well-understood way to block the president from implementing his giant amnesty plan, an unconstitutional action that he has arrogantly advertised in advance, is to impeach the president.
There could be intermediary steps attempted, such as blocking funding needed to implement the amnesty and filing lawsuits challenging the legality of the plan. Those steps should be undertaken, but they might be circumvented. The only certain way to halt the massive amnesty is to immediately file articles of impeachment against the president.
There have always been two main arguments against impeachment even among those who support it in principle – first, that it is not practical because it would never succeed in the Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate, and secondly that, well, you just can’t impeach the first black president no matter what he has done. But given the likely new political circumstances post-Nov. 4, both of those arguments have lost their power.
If Republicans capture the majority in the U.S. Senate as now appears almost certain, the 2015 Congress is a new ballgame. If the House were to bring impeachment charges based on not only the amnesty but several other unconstitutional actions, do Democratic senators want to run for re-election in 2016 on a platform that starts with apologizing for Obama’s unconstitutional behavior?
Here’s the key question: Is Obama so popular now that Democrats in 2015 and 2016 will fall on their swords to defend him? Do Senate Democrats want a vote against impeachment to be the defining issue in their 2016 campaigns, while also defending the influx of millions of additional illegal aliens across our unguarded borders?
The Obama presidency is self-destructing. All that is needed to neutralize his planned amnesty and other unconstitutional actions is Republican courage to follow the Constitution and impeach the man. Anything less will simply pave the way for more of the same – not only on immigration, but on energy, welfare, voting rights and other issues.
