Jesse Lee Peterson: Obama Launching A 'Race War,' Keeping Black Americans In 'Bondage'

On the Monday edition of VCY America’s “Crosstalk” radio program, right-wing activist Jesse Lee Peterson spoke with host Jim Schneider about the “racial agitators” who are supposedly keeping black Americans in “bondage” by protesting the shooting of “thug” Michael Brown, and blamed Brown’s death on the way he was raised by his parents.

Depicting Obama as a great national divider who encourages disunity among racial groups, Peterson questioned why support of the president was still strong within the black community. “According to the polls that I’ve seen, about 86 percent of black people still support Barack Obama, knowing that he supports abortion on demand — if a baby should come out alive, let the baby down on the medical table. They know now that he supports homosexuality, same-sex marriage. They know that he’s a racist and that he hates Christians, he hates the Jews,” he said. “He never tries to unite the races but divide them with lies, rather than unite them with truth.”

Peterson then blamed Brown’s death on the teen and his parents, dismissing the idea that racism was at all a factor. “When Michael Brown decided that he was going to rob a store and attack a police officer, he decided that he was ready to die,” he continued. “That was his decision, and so I blame Michael Brown and I blame his parents who did not raise him right. They did not raise a good citizen, they raised a thug, and they failed him and it is there fault along with Michael Brown. It had nothing to do with race at all.”

After Schneider brought up several black members of Congress who took part in a demonstration protesting police brutality, Peterson accused civil rights advocates of fanning the flames of racial animosity in order to preserve their power: “We are eventually, short of a miracle from God, we are going to have a race war on our hands. And that’s what Obama and others want, so they can come in and just put us in bondage even more so.”

Peterson also attacked the people who attended “thug” Michael Brown’s “disgusting” funeral for having “talked about that guy as though he is Jesus Christ.”

“They sent out a message to the rest of the black children and youngins that you could be a thug and because a white man was involved in it, we’re going to honor you as though you are a hero,” he said. “If that wasn’t evil then I don’t know what is.”

Kelly Shackelford: LGBT Advocates Will 'Destroy' People Until We 'Lose All Freedom'

In a conference call held by E.W. Jackson’s group Staying True to America’s National Destiny (S.T.A.N.D) last week, Liberty Institute president Kelly Shackelford said that the advancement of LGBT rights and laws protecting against anti-LGBT discrimination have led to a loss of religious freedoms and other fundamental rights in the U.S.

Shackelford, whose group works against antidiscrimination laws and represents those who claim to have been hurt by them, described how LGBT equality supporters have been “taking over the airwaves” in order to pressure people into supporting their cause.

“People are afraid to speak up, which is the opposite of our country — our country is all about people having different beliefs,” he said. “And the scary thing to me is how quickly it moved from the GLBT [community] having some victories on this issue of marriage to having complete intolerance, of trying to force people to violate their faith. This is antithetical to our country and anything we’re about.”

He claimed that Christians have explicitly been targeted and ostracized for their views. “Whether you’re a baker, or a photographer, or a florist, or who else. It’s not that there aren’t plenty of people to do a wedding for two women or two men in the states where that’s legal. They sniff around to find out the one person who has a religious conscience objective and then try to destroy them,” he added. “It kind of shows you how, once you lose your religious freedom, you lose all freedom.”

Anti-Immigrant Protests A Bust, Again

Earlier this month, Rep. Michele Bachmann utterly failed to organize a Tea Party uprising against President Obama’s executive action on immigration, as what she hoped would be a massive Washington, D.C., rally against “amnesty” eventually became a press conference attended by a handful of activists holding anti-Obama signs.

The anti-immigrant movement had yet another embarrassing failure yesterday when two demonstrations, one billed as a Massive Gathering in Washington to Oppose Executive Amnesty, failed to draw more than a few dozen people.

The cries for increased deportation, as well as an impeachment of the president, began with a morning rally at the White House, where despite the zealous energy amongst the assembled Tea Partyers and militia members, seemingly only about two dozen protesters showed up to air their discontent and express their support for a group of sheriffs gathering on the Hill to oppose the executive action.

Led by a picket-sign-toting activist in Revolutionary War-era garb, the small gathering of “patriots” waved American flags and chanted their demands for the “terrorist” President Obama to step down, at the apparent behest of “King Jesus,” for welcoming “diseased” immigrants into the country.

As the number of photographers covering the rally nearly surpassed the number of people actually participating in the protest, a Capitol Police officer stepped in to move the protestors back onto the sidewalk, where the crowd engulfed the ever-present demonstrators seeking a U.S. ban on nuclear weapons and a group of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The anti-immigrant activists then complained that they were experiencing government persecution by being moved off the street, which the colonist-impersonator claimed was an order sent directly from Obama himself.

Several blocks away and a few hours later, the anti-immigration group NumbersUSA staged what can very loosely be called a rally on Capitol Hill to welcome approximately 50 sheriffs convening in Washington to lobby against the president’s immigration action.

Sadly, it appeared that neither the sheriffs nor too many NumbersUSA supporters got the memo, as the rally drew fewer than 10 people, two picket signs, and one American flag.

The sheriffs, who were scheduled to stage a press conference immediately after their meet-and-greet with the anti-immigration activists, were also nowhere to be found. Later, the few protesters who did manage to show up were informed that the sheriffs had already convened inside the Senate office building, and that their opportunity for a grand entrance and statement-making photo ops had been lost.

FRC Spox Proposes Constitutional Amendment To Ban Recognition Of Gender Reassignment

Family Research Council spokesmen Peter Sprigg and Craig James of the Family Research Council have an innovative new plan to promote limited government: pass a constitutional amendment regulating gender identity!

On Monday’s edition of “Washington Watch,” James explained how transgender rights issues will likely be the next issue that the Religious Right will have to “combat in this war that we’re on with the LGBT community.”

“I think the ideal policy for government with respect to [trans rights] is that your sex is your biological sex,” Sprigg said. “My view is, that if your biological sex is unambiguous at birth -- if your internal sex organs, your external genitalia, and your chromosomal makeup all are unequivocal in declaring you to be of one sex – then that is your sex for life, and that is your only sexual identity that the government will recognize.”

He continued on to lament how state and local governments have capitulated to the interests of transgender advocates instead of imposing more stringent legal definitions of gender. “Unfortunately, we never codified [these distinctions]. And I think a lot of states just kind of through erosion, through response to pressure from the transgender movement, have gotten to the point where they, first of all, recognize sex changes in terms of people’s identity documents…But now, they’re going further and actually punishing people who also don’t affirm this myth, this fiction, that people can change their sex.”

James even suggested that conservatives might have to consider launching a movement to pass a constitutional amendment regulating gender identity, asking Sprigg, “Might Congress — might there be a need for us to have a constitutional movement, an amendment, to identify a person’s sex: it is what you are at birth?”

Anti-LGBT Activist: Transgender Inclusion Policy 'Puts Children In Danger'

Yesterday, Michelle Lentz, the state coordinator for the anti-LGBT group Minnesota Child Protection League Action, appeared on VCY America’s “Crosstalk” radio program to discuss a proposal to better accommodate students who identify as transgender in Minnesota high school sports.

Lentz argued that the proposed policy, which would allow children to participate in sports teams based on their gender identity, rather than biological gender, would have grave consequences for students. Insisting that “it’s all fair the way it is” now, she described the proposal as a “reckless policy that puts children in danger,” and accused advocates of lying about religious exemptions for parochial schools and local control over rollout of the policy. “A look at this policy shows that it is dangerous to all kids, including transgender kids,” she said.

Lentz also used the opportunity to criticize other efforts to combat bullying in schools and ensure equality for LGBT students. “The anti-bullying movement is a precursor that opens the door to all kinds of curriculum and policies of sexually explicitly material, ideas, themes,” she continued. “And this may be the pattern we are seeing all across the country. It is necessary for us as a people to stand up against these policies when they are harmful and put children at risk.”

Michael Savage: Immigrants Using Their Children As 'Meal Tickets'

On Thursday’s edition of the “Savage Nation,” conservative talk show host Michael Savage blamed immigrant families for America’s financial burdens, saying that immigrant women “[knock] out babies like loaves of bread” in order to get more welfare benefits.

“It’s a much bigger picture here than you may have imagined,” he said. “It’s not the hard-working busboy or the gardener or the maid or the cook that we all see every day. It’s the silent millions sitting at home who do not work, they’re not the gardeners, they’re not the cooks, they’re not the maids. They’re sitting at home knocking out babies like loaves of bread, because each baby is a meal ticket.”

He accused undocumented workers of angling to take advantage of America’s social welfare programs.

“Who do you think is emigrating from these countries, the cream of the crop?” he asked listeners. “Well, no, some are just poor and they’re looking for a better life. And what better way to have a better life than welfare? They live better on welfare than they do in their own countries.”

After citing the much-disputed Heritage Foundation study on immigration, Savage said immigrants “come here because they know it is the land of plenty, the land of milk and honey, and they’re here to milk the milk and lick the honey. So the unilateral amnesty that Pelosi and Obama are trumpeting tonight will turn off the lights in the White House and grant us two years at least of darkness.”

Newt Gingrich: Obama Golfs To Take His Mind Off Being An 'Incompetent' 'Radical'

Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich appeared on Newsmax TV’s “America’s Forum” talk show this week to weigh in on Republican victories in the midterm elections.

After host J.D. Hayworth, a former Arizona congressman, asked Gingrich how he “as a historian” sees Obama, Gingrich predictably launched into a tirade against President Obama’s policies, particularly the Affordable Care Act, and what he sees as the impending failure of the Democrats in the next election cycle. Gingrich blamed President Obama’s supposed mishandling of issues like Ebola and ISIS on the fact that the president is both radical and incompetent.

“I think he is the most radical president in American history. But what makes it fascinating is he is incompetent and radical,” he said. “You’re really running a big risk if you’re both incompetent and radical. I think in a lot of ways you’re seeing someone who is in over his head.”

His gross incompetence, Gingrich explains, is why Obama “goes and golfs because that way at least he doesn’t have to think about it.”

So, just as Obama is simultaneously a feeble, “apathetic” leader and a power-hungry “dictator,” he is brazenly implementing his radical policies while also so painfully incompetent that he can’t effectively implement those policies. Makes sense.

Bryan Fischer Suggests Native Americans Were Justifiably Removed From Their Land

On “Focal Point” today, host Bryan Fischer once again linked the supposed moral failings of Native Americans to the seizure of their land by European colonists.

Fischer recounted the Biblical tale of the Amorites, a group that had “lapsed into superstition and paganism and idolatry and sexual immorality and savagery” until they were vanquished by the Israelites. He then paraphrased God as saying, “I’m going to be patient with the Amorite people for 400 years, and if they continue to sin at the rate they’re sinning, every time they sin they’re putting a little more slop in the slop bucket, and if they keep doing that the slop bucket’s going to get full, and I’m going to have to empty out that slop bucket.”

Fischer then used the story to justify the violent expulsion of Native American people from their territory at the hands of white settlers. “This may even be a part of American history, when we think about the moral right for the nation and the peoples that God brought into this land to exercise sovereign control over the land,” he said. “Part of that equation may have to do with the immorality of those nations that were exercising sovereign control over this land at the time.”

Tim Wildmon Warns Obama Will Appoint More 'Anti-American' Justices To The Supreme Court

Fox News political commentator Todd Starnes appeared on the American Family Association’s election night program with Tim Wildmon, Bryan Fischer, and Ed Vitagliano to discuss the results of the midterm elections and the implications of a Republican-controlled Congress.

Starnes urged the newly-empowered GOP to scale back the powers of the Obama administration and minimize the impact of any presidential executive orders. “We have to stop this president and hit this administration,” he said. “And the only way to do that is to get a Republican majority in there.”

Starnes also spoke about future judicial nominees who will now face confirmation votes in a GOP-led Senate. “Right now, we have to worry about activist judges that will be appointed to the bench,” he said. “You have the possibility that a Supreme Court justice may have to be nominated; these are some big, big issues.”

“God forbid a Supreme Court justice, one of the conservatives or even Kennedy, dies or leaves office while Obama is still in office,” Wildmon chimed in. “These are more than liberals…We have anti-American, ACLU-types in four positions on the Supreme Court.”

Religious Right Pundit: Marriage Equality Paves The Way For Adult-Child Marriages

Anti-gay activist Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Action appeared on Voice of Christian Youth America’s “In Focus” talk show with host Jim Schneider several weeks ago to discuss the implications of recent same-sex marriage rulings across the country, including one in Wisconsin, warning viewers that a “redefinition” of marriage would erode America’s moral compass and lead to the sanctioning and acceptance of other “sexual sins.”

“The nature of sexual sin is, it kind of wraps its cords around you until you become completely identified by it,” she explained. “That’s when the giving up happens, because you become sort of ensnared by it, and it defines the people. And that’s when people are ripe to have their conscience seared, and they are no longer able to distinguish between right and wrong and good and bad.”

Schneider later chimed in with the well-worn slippery slope argument, claiming that same-sex marriage sets a precedent for legalizing pedophilia and polygamy.

“Once you change that which is unchangeable, there’s no limit to how far you can go,” he said. “Multiple partners…what about foursomes? What about an adult who says, ‘I want to marry this underage child. It’s discriminatory — I love this child, this child loves me, why can we not be married, that’s discriminatory.’ The arguments they use…justifying same-sex marriage are the same arguments they’re going to use to justify polygamy, threesomes, adult-child relationships.”

Appling added that the success of the gay rights movement will help groups like NAMBLA.
