Beck Demonstrates The NRA's Commitment To Safety

Glenn Beck broadcast his television broadcast last from Houston, TX where is he in town to speak at the annual NRA convention. Prior to telling his audience that the shooting that occurred earlier that today at the Houston airport was a false flag "set-up" tied to the "uber left," Beck was extolling the virtues of the NRA and the organization's dedication to gun safety.

In making the point, Beck pointed to a table full of historical weapons he had gotten from the NRA museum that he is going to be using in his speech tomorrow and recounted how, all day long, NRA staff had been reminding him how to safely pick up and hold a firearm, all of which Beck said he already knows because he took a NRA safety course.

In fact, the NRA is so concerned about safety that staffers even taped a large "T" on the wall of the auditorium to mark the spot at which all of the guns lying on the table were pointed, signaling that nobody should ever be standing in that area.

But when Beck went to point it out, he first had to ask one of his staff members to move ... because she was standing right in front of it:

Beck On Houston Airport Shooting: ' I Could Guarantee You This Is A Set-Up'

Tonight, Glenn Beck broadcast his television program live from Houston, TX since he is in town for the annual NRA convention where he will be speaking on Saturday.

During his opening monologue, Beck informed his audience that earlier in the day a man had entered Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston with an AR-15 assault rifle and fired off a round before being confronted by security and reportedly taking his own life.

But Beck wasn't buying that storyline because "that doesn't make sense to me." What does make sense to Beck is that this man was probably some unemployed and depressed individual who had been wound-up by some shadowy figure on the "uber left" to go out and "make a statement."

Despite the fact that he literally had no evidence whatsoever, Beck was pretty certain that this was some sort of false flag operation because "the idea that this is a coincidence ...  is too much to believe."

"If I were an honest journalist," Beck said, "I would find out where these guns came from; were they purchased or were they illegal.  Oh, if they're illegal, I could guarantee you this is a set-up. Someone knows history. I do.  At least I know enough history to know about the burning of the Reichstag":

Barton: Right-Wing Vote-Rigging Scheme Gives 'the People a Greater Voice'

After watching the Republican presidential candidates lose the last two elections, right-wing activist Ken Blackwell cooked up a scheme whereby states would move away from winner-take-all allocations of electors to a system in which Electoral College votes would be assigned according to congressional districts.

The result would be that a Republican presidential candidate who does not win the overall popular vote in the state could still end up receiving a majority of that state's electoral votes simply by virtue of winning the popular vote in more individual districts.

Today, Blackwell appeared on "WallBuilders Live" to promote this scheme, where it was met with enthusiastic support from Rick Green and David Barton. As Blackwell explained, if every state had implemented this plan for the 2012 election, Mitt Romney would have won despite the fact that he lost the overall popular vote by nearly 5 million votes.

That, of course, is ridiculous ... and the fact that people think it is outrageous is, according to Blackwell, a sign that it is a good idea:

Blackwell: There's an old farmer's tale that if you throw a brick at a pack of pigs, the one that squeals is the one you hit.  Well, when we put this out there, the Left started squealing, the New York Times started squealing, so we must be on to something.

Green: You must be on to something. No doubt about that.  I haven't had a chance to look, I don't if anyone has done a map, I'd be real curious to know if every state did this, how would the last few elections [have gone]? Have you had a chance to look?

Blackwell: I already know. If every state did it, Romney would have won the election.  And so that's another reason that the Left just instinctively dislikes it.

...

Barton: This actually is a way to give the people a greater voice rather than just having the majority slap it to the minority every time you turn around. And I really like what he's proposed here with reverting back out of the winner-take-all philosophy of the states, going back to congressional district take all, which is a good way to do it.

Only to David Barton could a scheme designed to ensure that a Republican candidate who loses the national popular vote would still win the election be a good idea because it supposedly give "the people a greater voice."

Beck: 'Get Ready For More Blood in the Streets, America'

Yesterday, The Daily Mail ran an article reporting that Saudi government had delivered a written warning to the Department of Homeland Security about accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev and had even been so concerned about his radical views that it had denied him a Visa to enter Saudi Arabia.

Later in the day, the article was updated to reflect the fact that the Saudi embassy denied the claims entirely:

But the Middle Eastern nation's embassy in Washington denied that account on Wednesday.

It issued a statement which read: 'The Saudi government had no prior information about the Boston bombers. Therefore, it is not true that any information, written or otherwise, was passed to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or any other US agency in this regard,' an embassy statement statement claimed.

'The Saudi government also does not have any record of any application by Tamerlan Tsarnaev for any visa to Saudi Arabia.'

But it didn't really matter, because people like Glenn Beck had already seized on the original story and were running with it.  Even though Beck's own The Blaze reported on the Saudi government's denial of the claims, Beck never once bothered to even mention it as he instead just continued to cite the original Daily Mail story last night because it fit into his narrative that there is some conspiracy at work behind the bombing.

Ignoring the fact that his new belief that the Saudi government warned the US government about Tsarnaev is seemingly at odds with his other theory that Saudi Arabia was somehow behind the Boston bombing, Beck eventually wound up screaming at a video of President Obama, yelling that "if allowing terrorist attacks to happen after ignoring specific warnings is what the FBI and DHS is supposed to be doing, Mr. President, I want my tax dollars back! Get ready for some more blood in the streets America":

Glenn Beck's Mission Is Now Just Like 'Back to the Future III'

On his television program last night, Glenn Beck announced that ever since the re-election of President Obama, and increasingly so following the Boston Marathon bombing, he has been sensing that his mission has been changing.

No longer is he being called to warn the nation that disaster lies ahead if we do not change our path, he explained, because now he is being called to point out the exits as America zooms past mile markers signaling that we're just about to go over the edge ... you know, just like in the movie "Back To The Future III":

>

Beck: God Must Destroy Us Because We Are Becoming an Affront to Him in Every Way

On today's radio broadcast, Glenn Beck got pretty worked up about the fact that the jury in the trial of Kermit Gosnell has now entered the second day of deliberations, since Beck thinks it is an open and shut case and it should only have taken them seconds to find Gosnell guilty.

That eventually prompted Beck to declare that this nation has become so evil that God "has got to destroy us; we are becoming an affront to him in every step of the way. We are denying his existence. We are denying his power. We are slapping him in the face. We are killing his children" before he broke down weeping, tearfully begging God to forgive us and remember that there are still millions of people here who are good:

Wayne Allyn Root's Confusing Obama/Columbia/Communist Conspiracy

On AFA's "Today's Issues" this morning, Wayne Allyn Root joined host Tim Wildmon to promote his new book "The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide: How to Survive, Thrive, and Prosper During Obamageddon."  Root and Wildmon agreed that President Obama is working to intentionally ruin the economy as a means of destroying the country based on a plan that Obama learned while attending Columbia University.

Root says that he knows this for a fact because this was exactly what he was taught when he attended Columbia with Obama ... despite the fact that Root never once saw Obama during their time as classmates.  Apparently Root knew everyone at Columbia during his time in college but never saw Obama, which must mean "that maybe he never went to class, maybe he was too busy attending socialist party meetings, I don't know, but he wasn't in class."

Despite the fact that Root claims Obama never went to class, he also claims that Obama learned Marxism there because all that was taught at Columbia was that Russia and China could never conquer America so it has to been taken over from within.  As such, "you have to elect someone who is handsome, who has a beautiful family who smiles and waves and hugs women and tells everybody what a uniter he is, not a divider, what a moderate guy he is, what a compromiser he is when, in reality, he's a Communist."

Once elected, that person would then set out to overwhelm the system with debt, spending, and entitlements ... just like Obama is doing!

And if you think this theory is crazy, it is only because you are naive:

Fischer: Being Selective in Choosing Partners Proves That Being Gay is a Choice

On his radio program yesterday, Bryan Fischer dedicated multiple segments to dismissing the news that Jason Collins has become the first openly gay athlete to play in the NBA.

Things took a rather odd turn when Fischer started taking calls from listeners, one of whom tried to claim that the fact that gays use discretion in picking sexual partners proves that they can control their behavior and thus being gay is really a choice.

And Fischer agreed, saying "anytime a homosexual exercises any sort of selectivity at all when it comes to intimate matters, he is proving that it is a matter of choice. Nobody is compelled to follow those impulses."

Of course, by this logic, then being straight must also be a choice, since straight people also exercise selectivity in choosing partners.

But eventually Fischer got back to the topic at hand, asserting that gays celebrate things "that ought to be matters of shame, humiliation, and embarrassment" and criticizing President Obama for supporting Collins and "openly celebrating sexual deviancy, calling evil good and calling good evil":

Fischer: Jason Collins' Coming Out Is Not Brave or Courageous, But 'Just a Shrewd Marketing Move'

Bryan Fischer dedicated a segment on his radio program today to once again discussing the news that Jason Collins has become the first active NBA player to announce that he is gay.  And Fischer is unimpressed, to say the least, saying that Collins is a free agent at the end of his career with no real prospects of playing again next season and so he thought this was a good opportunity for himself to garner some attention for himself and make money.

"Everybody is talking about how brave and courageous Jason Collins is and I'm going to submit to you that he's not being brave and courageous at all," Fischer declared. "This is just a shrewd marketing move to wave the rainbow flag right at the time when it can be of the most benefit to him. A year from now, when he's been out of the NBA for a year, nobody is going to care.  This is the only time this would be of any benefit to him ... This is why this is not courageous; he's become a hero to the deviancy cabal and their allies in the political world and academia and the media, like President Obama":

Beck: Conspiracy Theorists Work to 'Plant the Seeds of Doubt Whenever and Wherever They Can'

Despite the fact that we watch Glenn Beck's programming for hours every day, we generally have no idea what it is he is taking about, mostly because his stream-of-consciousness style tends to blend his own conspiracies and his regular denunciations of conspiracy theories into one incoherent mess.

Last night's program was a perfect example, as he dedicated one portion to raising "unanswered questions" about the judge brought in to read Dzhokhar Tsarnaev his Miranda Rights by raising suspicions about her travels to Muslim nations.  That was followed by a discussion of claims by Tsarnaev's mother that her sons were not responsible for the Boston Marathon bombing and are the victims of some sort of conspiracy to set them up.

Beck then went on to suggest that this is part of some sort of intentional disinformation campaign designed to confuse people and it is working because her claims ring true to those who do not trust America, which is a growing number of people since 9/11.  Beck said that since people know that they cannot get the truth from the government or the media, conspiracy theories can more easily take root.

To prove his point, he said that in the aftermath of 9/11, nobody believed "the Truthers" because "we never would have believed that before" but now "all they have to do is plant the seeds of doubt whenever and wherever they can."

And this, Beck suggested, is exactly what Tsarnaev's mother is doing, leading him to declare that "I can't help but wonder, is somebody coaching her"?

Truth In Action Ministries Criticizes Ex-Gay Leader for Apologizing and Recanting

Jerry Newcombe of Truth In Action Ministries is upset that ex-gay leader John Paulk has renounced the movement and announced that his marriage to his wife is ending. While Newcombe didn’t explicitly name Paulk, the former poster boy of the ex-gay movement made news recently for recanting his past activism.

Newcombe said that Paulk is like an “ex-ex-smoker” who “for whatever reason, they lit up again, and they no longer try to fight these urges,” adding that the rejection of the ex-gay movement is nothing short of “blasphemy.”

Well, it’s happened again. Another prominent person in ministry has apparently fallen away from the faith, and he renounces what he once was a part of.

This isn’t a story like the supposed apostasy of Joel Osteen. That was a false story foisted on the world through computer hacking. What a strange time we live in, where such hackers could invade the Associated Press’ website and plant a false story about the president getting injured---causing the stock market to temporarily drop, until the truth came out.

The moral of the story is: Don’t believe everything you read or hear in the news, until firmly established by two or three witnesses, to use the biblical standard.

But this story about a prominent man in ministry falling away is verified from multiple sources. His particular sin happened to be homosexuality, to which he has now returned.

As Christians, how are we to understand it when people seem to get converted but fall away, presumably for good? Like they say, the Bible will keep us from sin or vice versa.

Perhaps this man will eventually get back right with the Lord. Perhaps not. When people say, “Once saved, always saved,” I prefer to add two qualifiers: “Once truly saved, always truly saved.” Obviously, temporary setbacks are on a different level than permanent ones.

What’s interesting about this fallen away man who is currently in the news is that he claims he never was changed. Fair enough, because only he and God know his own heart. But what he now says is that you can’t change---that is, no one with such a struggle can change. Excuse me?

As the wife of an ex-gay once told me in an interview, “To say that people can't be transformed is to say that God cannot transform people, and that's blasphemy. Nothing less.”

Granted, some sinful backgrounds may be harder to work through than others. But God can and will transform those willing to submit to His will. He wants us to be free more than we do.

I actually know some ex-ex-smokers. They gave up smoking---for a while. In some cases they became fanatical against smoking. But eventually, for whatever reason, they lit up again, and they no longer try to fight these urges. Does that mean that no one can quit for good? Of course not. Yet that’s sort of implied in some of the media stories about our fallen away friend. …

Every Christian is described by Paul as a “living sacrifice.” The problem is that sometimes we living sacrifices can crawl off the altar. We should pray for such people to crawl back. When they do, they’ll see that God waits for them with open arms, like the father of the Prodigal Son.

Wiles: 'The Next Holocaust [Victims] Are American Christians

On Friday's radio broadcast, End Times radio host Rick Wiles and his guest, John McTernan, engaged in a long discussion about how things like abortion and homosexuality are bringing a curse on America.  Eventually McTernan and Wiles asserted that President Obama is linked "at the hip" with Kermit Gosnell before declaring that what is happening to Christians in America is just what happened to Jews in Nazi Germany, meaning that the next vicitims of a holocaust will be American Christians:

McTernan: We've murdered 60 million babies. And they've got the case in Pennsylvania, I don't know if you've been following or not ...

Wiles: Yes, Gosnell.

McTernan: I mean ... how do you describe this? Well, this is what Obama stands for.

Wiles: Barbaric.

McTernan: Obama is linked arm in arm, at the hip with this butcher.

Wiles: He hasn't denounced it. He's expressed no sorrow over what this butcher did to those children.

McTernan: And I must warn your listeners, that cold-heartedness that you see in Obama will translate into physical violence against us.

Wiles: That's right.

McTernan: He can't do it right now. Just like the Nazis, when they took power in Germany, the next day they couldn't kill the Jews.  They wanted to, but it took preparation and they had to get society ready for it. They had to marginalize the Jews, demonize the Jews, blame them for everything.  Well, that's the process that's going on in America now.

Wiles: And the Christians are the new Jews.

McTernan: We're the new Jews.

Wiles: The next holocaust are American Christians.  That's what's coming.

Charisma: Jason Collins Must Launch 'War on Homosexual Tendencies' and 'Repent Before It's Too Late'

Charisma news editor Jennifer LeClaire, who has been freaking out about the prospect of an openly gay player in the NFL, today responded to the news that NBA player Jason Collins came out of the closet by calling on him to begin “declaring war on homosexual tendencies” and “repent before it’s too late.”

LeClaire writes that homosexuality is “a choice” and claims that Collins is “in bondage to a sin,” hoping that “Christian NBA players—and fans—will reach out to him in love and pray for him.”

I am a huge basketball fan, and I admire Collins’ on-the-court skills. Throughout his career, the seven-footer has been a difference-maker for his teams, averaging nearly 4 rebounds per game and adding a few points for good measure. He can take a charge with the best of them and has been dubbed “the pro’s pro.” Indeed, he’s made a much-appreciated contribution to the game of basketball.

Yet as I read Collins’ 33-year struggle over his sexuality, my heart breaks for this basketball giant. In the Sports Illustrated article, Collins admits to wrestling with envy and fear. He talks about not sleeping well. He shares about his years of misery and what it was like to “live a lie.” He even opens up about the battle with “insane logic” in the context of suicide.

As I read his article, I found a sincerity in his words, but I was also disturbed. Collins says he feels free now that he’s come out. He says he feels blessed. He says his parents instilled Christian values in him. He says he enjoyed lending a hand when they taught Sunday school. He says he takes the teachings of Jesus seriously.

It’s heartbreaking. Collins, bless his soul, has not made himself free by coming out. Not truly. He just feels relieved because he doesn’t have to wear the "mask" he referenced in his article anymore. But he’s not free at all. He’s in bondage to a sin that doesn’t line up with the Christian values or the Sunday school teachings he heard as a child. Collins may feel free because he confessed, but he won’t truly be free until he repents. I pray that Christian NBA players—and fans—will reach out to him in love and pray for him.

Collins wants to keep his personal life private, but he just opened himself up to all manner of attention for his lifestyle. Some will celebrate his decision. Others will follow him out of the closet. Still others will be confused or hurt. Collins says he doesn’t mind if fans heckle him. I hope they don’t. Heckling anyone isn’t appropriate, much less someone who has struggled his whole life and continues to struggle—very publicly. Collins says he’s walked a tough, lonely road. And he will continue walking a tough and lonely road without Jesus, who is the only one who can truly set anyone free from envy, fear, misery, living a lie, suicidal thoughts, homosexuality—or any other sin.

God bless you, Jason. I admire your courage. I know how hard it must have been to take this step. Keep banging the boards! Keep setting those hard picks. Keep being the pro’s pro. But, please, consider that acting on gay tendencies is a choice, and repent before it's too late. The freedom you feel from confessing Jesus as Savior and declaring war on homosexual tendencies is far greater than the freedom you feel from coming out as gay to the sports-loving masses.

'You Can Live In Your Little Dream World': Glenn Beck Sees Echoes of Nazism in the Hunt for Boston Bomber

On his radio program this morning, Glenn Beck spent several minutes discussing a photo reportedly taken during the hunt for suspected Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev showing a police officer riding in a Humvee aiming his rifle up at the person taking the photo through a window.

And Beck finds the photograph particularly frightening because it reminds him of something he learned when visiting Auschwitz, which is that the Nazis would murder anyone who dared to so much as look out the window when they came to haul away Jewish families living in a neighborhood.

"So there were no eyewitnesses to anything because they had trained them," Beck explained.  "You make that mistake one time and the entire neighborhood and the town realize when they say stay in the house, they mean stay in your house.  When they say don't look out the window, don't approach a window, don't look at what's going on, you don't or they'll kill you."

And, Beck says, anyone who thinks that this will never happen here can just continue to "live in your little dream world" because "everything that has happened so far, we have told you would happen and everybody said it wouldn't happen":

Daubenmire: Hunt For Boston Marathon Bomber Was a Dry Run for Martial Law

It seems that "Coach" Dave Daubenmire will be making his way into our regular monitoring rotation because, frankly, if Peter LaBarbera thinks he is the sort of person that his audience ought to listen to, then he is also the sort of person to whom we ought to be paying attention.

And judging by the sorts of commentary videos Daubenmire posts on his YouTube page, we'll have a lot to write about, like this new one declaring that the hunt for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev that essentially locked-down the city of Boston earlier this month was a test run by the government to see how citizens would respond when martial law is imposed.

"There was a day in America when we wouldn't have sat around inside of our houses, hiding from a nineteen year old kid," Daubermire declared, "but we would have grabbed our guns and gone to the street and found that young man ourselves."

"If you live in a city," he continued, "and you have any way that you possible can, find a place to move outside of the outer belt in your city":

Fischer: 'Eventually All of America Is Going to Agree With Me' to Ban Muslims and Mosques

On his radio program today, Bryan Fischer dedicated a segment to reiterating, for what seems like the hundredth time, his call for bans on Muslim immigration, Muslims serving in the military, and the building of mosques in America.

Following that segment, Fischer admitted that his proposals are considered radical but predicted that eventually "all of America is going to agree with me" and the only question is how many more people will have to die before they see the light.

"It may take ten years," Fischer said, "It make take a lot more jihadist attacks, a lot more innocent Americans dead, that may be what it takes to bring America to its senses but I believe that's where we're going to wind up.  I believe eventually all of America is going to agree with me on this and the only question is whether America will agree with me before it is too late or after it is too late":

Joyner: The Government's Failure to Stop the Boston Bombing Was Treason

Rick Joyner has traditionally been a rather low-key speaker, the sort who does not get particularly worked-up or animated about anything. But that was certainly not the case in this recent sermon he delivered in response to the Boston Marathon bombing where he declared that the federal government should have been able to prevent the attack but were hampered due to infiltration by Muslim Brotherhood operatives into high-ranking official positions.

The failure to stop the attack, Joyner said, means that the blood of the victims is on the hands of the Department of Homeland Security and was either the result of disgraceful incompetence or outright treason ... and "most people think it is treason now" because "there is a huge amount of evidence that this is being done to us intentionally":

Barton: 'Bioshock Infinite' Is Teaching Kids to Hate Conservatives and Christians

A few weeks ago, shortly after the video game "Bioshock Infinte" was released, Glenn Beck's The Blaze ran a story suggesting that the game was an anti-conservative, anti-Christian attack on the Tea Party.

Today on "WallBuilders Live," David Barton seemingly picked up on that story.  Though he never mentioned the game by name, Barton told co-host Rick Green that there is a game out right now where players shoot conservatives and Christians and that this is just like what the Nazis did in demonizing Jews:

Barton: Christians are starting to be ruled out in many areas in our country. I don't know if you're familiar with it, but there's a new video game out now and in this video game you shoot the bad guys, you go in and kill the bad guys and the bad guys are Christians and conservatives.

Green: Are you kidding me?

Barton: For real. There is a video game out now where the bad guys you are supposed to shoot are both conservatives and Christians.  So that's the ones that kids are being taught you have to rule out ... see, this is the kind of stuff that the Nazis started early on with young people and getting them to hate Jews, teaching them at Jews were bad and all the bad things that Jews did.  And Jews did not have the political platform to be able to turn that around.  Now Christians still do and if Christians don't get involved [in politics] we're going to have trouble.

Of course, to anyone even remotely familiar with this game, or the series in general, Barton's interpretation of the plot if literally laughable.

You know, it is odd that he didn't mention that the bad guy in the first Bioshock game was career criminal who posed as a champion of the underclass in order to take control over a Randian empire or that the main enemy at the center of Bioshock 2 was seeking to build a collectivist utopia.

It is almost as if Barton has literally no idea what he is talking about.

Swanson: Homosexuality 'Destroys Civilizations' and Must Be Punished

Pastors Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner have long warned that homosexuality is responsible for natural disasters and that the US government should follow Uganda and “remove the abomination from the land” before it destroys people and society itself.

So we were not surprised when they kicked off Generations Radio this week by condemning pastor Rob Bell and the government of New Zealand for endorsing marriage equality. In fact, Swanson said that people should scratch New Zealand off their lists of places to turn to in case America falls apart since by legalizing same-sex marriage they will now face divine wrath.

As it turns out what works for Rob Bell is also what destroys civilizations and brings God’s judgment down upon civilizations. I know it’s really hard for some people to understand but if he did it in the Old Testament he is going to do it in the New Testament as well friends because God is the same God of judgment, the same God that holds nations to accountability and of course calls them to repentance as well and he holds them to tighter accounts on that repentance, according to the Apostle Paul on Mars Hill. By the way, New Zealand also has just legalized same-sex marriage so this thing is spreading all around the world today. There will be some nations better than others and New Zealand will not be one of them, friends. I’ve heard people talk about how wonderful New Zealand is and maybe we should all move to New Zealand, I’m sorry, New Zealand has also legalized same-sex marriage and has gone the way of America effectively.

The pair agreed that homosexuality at the very least should be criminalized and maybe even made into a capital crime since the Old Testament “says that homosexuals should be put to death.”

Buehner criticized Bell along with Tim Keller, who said that while he opposes gay marriage he does not consider it a sin to support its legalization, telling them that “not only is homosexuality a sin but it’s a crime” and Christians cannot “in any way cooperate with the committing of a crime against the law of God.”

Swanson: I would say the general equity of a law in the Old Testament that says that homosexuals should be put to death would be to frown on homosexuality.

Buehner: To frown?

Swanson: At least, at least to frown.

Buehner: Before you throw the stone?

Swanson: At the very, very, very least you would hope that somebody would get some kind of a moral directory, a trajectory towards a negative approach to handling homosexuality on the part of the civil magistrate. I hope that somebody would get that out of some of these Old Testament laws.

Buehner: So to Mr. Keller and to Mr. Bell and to many others who are saying these sorts of things, I would say not only is homosexuality a sin but it’s a crime. The general equity requires that it still be a crime; the moral law requires that it still be listed as a crime ergo Christians should in no way give any kind of endorsement, support candidates who give endorsement or in any way cooperate with the committing of a crime against the law of God. God’s law is law, God has the authority, he gives his authority to civil magistrates to execute his law; this is outside, against and opposed to God’s law.

Swanson: If there will be Christianity extant in the year 2060 friends somebody is going to have to be rooted and grounded to the rock solid foundations of God’s laws, otherwise they’re going to be blown about with every political position that comes around that is out to destroy our civilizations as we know it.

Barber: Progressive Are Just Fools

On today's "Faith and Freedom" program, Matt Barber and Mat Staver were discussing the question of "are liberalism and Christianity compatible?"

Shockingly, they both agreed that they weren't, with Barber explaining that it is mainly because "progressives are just fools" who are "embracing a worldview that is not rooted in reality."

And this sort of "pseudo-utopian mindset," Barber said, is dangerous and must be stopped because "we saw how that worked out in Stalinist Russia, we saw how that worked out in Nazi Germany, and Mao's China and elsewhere around the world":
