Fischer Asserts That CIA Director John Brennan Is A Muslim

Earlier this year, the anti-Muslim right seized upon an entirely unverified claim by disgraced former FBI agent John Guandolo that John Brennan, the Director of the CIA, had secretly converted to Islam as part of a Saudi Arabian "counterintelligence operation against him to recruit him."

There was absolutely no evidence to support the assertion other than Guandolo's say so, but that didn't matter as it immediately became a widely believed "fact" among people like Bryan Fischer who, to this day, continues to openly repeat it as if were verifiable and true.

On his radio broadcast this afternoon, Fischer cited another totally untrustworthy story claiming that President Obama would be meeting with high-ranking Muslim Brotherhood officials, which then prompted him to boldly declare that "John Brennan is a Muslim ... He's a devout Muslim, he's a die-hard Muslim, he believes what Muslims believe" despite having literally no evidence to support that claim whatsoever:

Rios and Lutzer Link Homosexuality to Pedophilia, Crime and Cleveland Kidnapper Ariel Castro

American Family Association talk show host Sandy Rios chatted with prominent Chicago pastor Erwin Lutzer today about homosexuality and the unsuccessful same-sex marriage bill in Illinois. Lutzer said one reason he opposes marriage equality is because of Chicago’s crime rate: “We have such crime here in Chicago, young people being slaughtered every night, we wake up in the morning and there’s been another murder, another teenager has been killed. They said in the midst of a society that is so desperate and so high-crime ridden, do we really now need laid upon this the destruction of the family and the destruction of marriage?”

The two also reiterated their belief that it is wrong to allow same-sex couples to marry just because they love each other. Lutzer, responding to a pro-gay marriage Facebook message, claimed that even pedophiles believe that they “love” the children they abuse. Rios added that even Ariel Castro, the Cleveland man who kidnapped three women, claimed that he loved the women he held in captivity.

Fischer: Gay Activists Should Support Russia's Anti-Gay Laws In The Name Of Diversity

The results are always interesting when Bryan Fischer thinks that he is being clever, as he was on his radio program yesterday when he spent a few minutes discussing Russia's recent ban on "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations around minors."

The discriminatory legislation has been met with outrage and protests around the world, but Fischer doesn't understand why since liberals and gay activists supposedly believe in diversity and, as such, they ought to be saying "hey, this is great!"

"We've got plenty of room in our multicultural world for all sorts of different cultural values and trends," Fischer mockingly proclaimed. "Isn't this wonderful what Russia is doing. Let's celebrate diversity and let's support this tradition in the nation of Russia":

Barack Obama Is The New Mao Zedong

Jerome Corsi and Sandy Rios got together once again yesterday to discuss how the left is destroying America, and the two agreed that President Obama is basically operating like Mao Zedong. Corsi alleged that the left “engineered” the breakdown of the family in order to grow the size of government and increase racial polarization: “This demonizing on race which Obama does, you know Obama is a race divider because it riles up his base, it’s Saul Alinsky.”

“Mao Zedong did that in China,” Rios added. Corsi argued that Obama is stoking racial and class divisions in order to concentrate power and ultimately “crush the middle class and get rid of the press.” “Which is what’s happening,” Rios replied.

Corsi concluded that the left started the NSA surveillance program in order to “crush opposition” and introduce fascism.

Fischer: 'I Have No Hesitation In Saying, Flat Out, President Obama Is Not A Patriot'

Some day, this country will again have a Republican president and when that happens, critics will say things about that president that the Religious Right will find offensive and outrageous and they will throw a fit that anyone would dare to ever show such disrespect to the President of the United States and the office of the presidency.

And on that day, we will just trot out videos of Bryan Fischer declaring that President Obama "has a visceral dislike of America" and wants to see it torn down and utterly destroyed.

"I have no hesitation in saying, flat out, President Obama is not a patriot," Fischer says, "he is not a patriotic American":

Fischer: 'We Shouldn't Operate In This Fantasy Land'

We know that when it comes to questions of science, Bryan Fischer is an authority who can fully be trusted because he has "an allegiance to science," which is why he doesn't believe in climate change or evolution and knows that Jesus holds the atomic nucleus together and that the Second Law of Thermodynamics was first mentioned in the Bible.

So it was no surprise to see him seize upon an op-ed in USA Today by a former president of the American Psychological Association claiming that "ex-gay" sexual reorientation therapy is not unethical to declare that anyone who thinks that gays are born that way is doing so "in defiance of science," adding that gay activists are "completely unhinged and unmoored" from reality.

"We shouldn't operate in this fantasy land, this make believe world where everything is fabricated and made up and there's no basis for it in reality" said Fischer ... the man who, just last week, recalled how he had once been targeted by a coven of local witches who had sent out a demonic spirit to attack him by grabbing his ankle while he slept:

LaBarbera: 'Martin Luther King Would Be Rolling Over in His Grave' About LGBT Rights

Sandy Rios of the American Family Association yesterday ranted against policies to accommodate transgender students in California and Massachusetts, even claiming that the Bay State’s “horrible” trans-inclusive guidance represents a “nightmare, Sci-Fi scenario.” While speaking with Americans For Truth About Homosexuality head Peter LaBarbera about a recent move by the Justice Department on behalf of transgender students, LaBarbera called it “public policy insanity.”

“The transgender movement shows the absurdity of the whole LGBT notion of civil rights,” LaBarbera told Rios. “Martin Luther King would be rolling over in his grave if he saw what civil rights has become according to Eric Holder.”

Fischer: Anthony Weiner Running for Mayor to 'Create an Opportunity for More Jihadist Activity'

American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer yesterday alleged that former congressman Anthony Weiner is running for mayor in order to “create an opportunity for more jihadist activity” as part of a Muslim Brotherhood plot, led by his wife Huma Abedin. Fischer, who on Monday said that Abedin seeks to “destroy Western Civilization,” claimed that Weiner is running for mayor in order to “pull back” on the NYPD’s surveillance of the city’s Muslim community and aid “Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood and their agenda to exterminate and destroy Western Civilization.”

LaBarbera: Gays Should Take Responsibility for Catholic Church Abuse Scandal, Desecrated National Cathedral

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality was the special guest today on Sandy Rios In The Morning, where he was called in to discuss the Pope’s recent comments on gay priests. While LaBarbera didn’t think the Pope’s remarks reflected a major shift in church policy, he was worried that the new Pope isn’t anti-gay enough.

“It seems to me that the last thing that the Catholic Church needs is more homosexual priests,” he said, claiming that gay activists led a “penetration of the church” in order to molest children and shield themselves from blame: “Homosexuality has done incredible devastation to this church but you listen to gay activists and it’s like they don’t even acknowledge that, it’s so bizarre; homosexual activists never take responsibility for their own behavior and the repercussions from it.”

Rios added that gay people won’t take responsibility for the Catholic Church’s abuse scandal because they are “very narcissistic.”

When discussing recent vandalism at the National Cathedral, LaBarbera said that the Episcopal congregation was already “desecrated” by its support of gay rights.

“You could say that the Cathedral was desecrated by vandalism but I think that the Cathedral has already been desecrated by homosexual activism and sexual immorality,” LaBarbera told Rios, who asserted that the vandalism at the Lincoln Memorial was a “metaphor” for America’s decline.

Fischer: Huma Abedin's 'Stated Purpose' Is To Destroy Western Civilization

On his radio program yesterday, Bryan Fischer was discussing the on-going Anthony Weiner sexting scandal, which provided an opportunity for him to join the right-wing smear campaign against Weiner's wife, long-time Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, for supposedly being an agent of the Muslim Brotherhood intent on destroying America.

As a matter of fact, said Fischer, despite having no evidence whatsoever, Adedin's "stated goal" is to destroy this nation.

"Her goal in life as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood is to destroy Western Civilization," Fischer said. "She's the one that wants to be the next mayor's wife in the city of New York ... Huma Abedin, she wants to destroy Western Civilization. That is her stated purpose, that is her stated goal":

Gay-Inclusive Curriculum Like Teaching Kids How To Use Crack

Sandy Rios of the American Family Association dedicated part of her radio show today to criticizing the National Education Association for its strong stance in favor of LGBT equality and gay-inclusive curricula. “I think that we can lay at the feet of the National Education Association the reason why this culture has been slouching toward Gomorrah,” Rios told her listeners. “The NEA has been for the last twenty years indoctrinating our children.”

One of her guests, a South Carolina teacher and pastor named Ira Thomas, attended the recent NEA convention in Atlanta and lamented that he is “accused of hating” because he opposes the NEA’s pro-gay “indoctrination plans.” “To me it’s like teaching people about how to use crack. It’s a dangerous game to play on,” Thomas said.

King: Attacks On Me Are A Sign That Civilization Will Not Survive

Congressman Steve King continues his tour of defiance, refusing to apologize or backtrack in any way for the comments he made earlier this week when he claimed that the vast majority of undocumented immigrants are "130-pound" drug runners with "calves the size of cantaloupes."

As part of this ongoing effort, King showed up on Bryan Fischer's radio program today where he vowed that he will never apologize "for telling the American people the truth."

King defended himself by saying he had made this same point several times in the past, but is only being attacked for it now by people who "have an amnesty agenda that they want to drive through the House of Representatives," adding that any civilization in which government leaders would attack and marginalize someone like him for speaking the truth "will not be able to sustain itself in the long run":

AFA Kentucky Affiliate Claims School Prayer Ban Led to AIDS Epidemic

The American Family Association of Kentucky sent out an appeal to its members today asking them to sign a petition calling for a law legalizing school prayer in the state, similar to “inspirational message” bills recently passed in Florida and Mississippi.

The petition asserts that the 1962 Supreme Court decision prohibiting government-led prayer in schools was pushed by “anti-God forces” and led to a myriad of social ills, including a rise in teen pregnancy and violent crime, and “the AIDS epidemic and the drug culture.”

Legalizing school prayer is “one of the best ways of returning God’s protection to America,” the petition adds.

One of the best ways of returning God’s protection to America
is by putting prayer back in our schools.

FLORIDA AND MISSISSIPPI HAVE ALREADY PUT PRAYER (RELIGIOUS SPEECH) BACK INTO THEIR SCHOOLS! STUDENTS PRAYING AGAIN WILL EVENTUALLY TURN OUR COUNTRY BACK TO GOD!

Children in Florida and Mississippi are now allowed to pray in school assemblies (give an inspirational message) because their governors signed bills into law in Florida in 2012 and in Mississippi in 2013. The media has made this fact one of the best kept secrets.

Prayer was in our schools for over 200 years before the anti-God forces took it out in 1962. After prayer was removed from our schools, teen pregnancy went up 500%, STD’s went up 226%, violent crime went up 500% and SAT scores went down for 18 years in a row, opening the door for the AIDS epidemic and the drug culture.

WE NEED PRAYER BACK IN SCHOOLS! Please sign this petition.

Sincerely,
Frank Simon, Director
American Family Association of KY

AFA Spokesman: Gay People Feel Alienated Because 'They Are Alienated From God'

WTVA in Tupelo, Mississippi, reported today on a marriage equality march near the headquarters of the American Family Association. They of course asked the AFA for its view on the march, and got this response:

"The Bible calls believers to hold out God's grace to sinners. All kinds of sinners whether you are a liar or a stealer or an adulterer or a homosexual," said Patrick J. Vaughn, General Counsel for the American Family Association.

Vaughn went on to describe what he calls a very strong drive among homosexual activist to have the name marriage attached to their relationships.

"I believe that is because they think that will give them a feeling of acceptance in that what they are doing is right if they have this label [of marriage]. Unfortunately, I don't think that is going to last very long because the alienation that they sense is really an alienation because they are alienated from God. They are refusing to obey what he's commanded and they are doing something that is against the nature of the way he created them," said Vaughn.

Earlier this week, the AFA released a statement about the Mississippi marriage equality effort, claiming that gays and lesbians "already have" marriage equality in the state...because they are free marry someone of the opposite sex:

[H]homosexuals already have the same marriage rights that everyone has. Every person in America has the right to marry someone of the opposite sex. Mississippians should not be fooled by the deceitful tactics that these groups are using to induce pity for homosexuals who cannot be married in Mississippi, because they have chosen a homosexual lifestyle.

Fischer On Liz Cheney, Gay Marriage, And Bank Robbing

Yesterday, Bryan Fischer announced his opposition to Liz Cheney's bid for the US Senate on the grounds that she is not anti-gay enough and he reiterated that view on his radio program when he explained to a caller that Cheney has been compromised on the issue due to the fact that her sister, Mary, is a lesbian.

Fischer said that a lot of people get confused on this issue because someone they know or care about is gay, but that "is just absurd; if you've got a bank robber in the family, that doesn't mean you automatically have to support bank robbing as a lifestyle choice."

Fischer went on to say that even the Supreme Court has "homosexual activists" working as clerks who are "strategically placed" in influential positions and that could affect the judgment of the justices on these issues:

Fischer: 'It Is Your Patriotic Duty To Worship God'

Bryan Fischer began yesterday's radio program, as he customarily does, with a reading from the Bible and a discussion about what it means for today.  In yesterday's reading, Fischer was working from the Book of Haggai as he explained that our economy is suffering because the nation has turned away from God, just as happened to ancient Israel.

And if we want the economy to turn around, it requires the leaders of this nation to call us to focus our attention back on God because" if you want a prosperous economy, you've got to have a vibrant spirituality."

"When you worship God," Fischer explained, "you are not just doing the right thing in terms of your relationship with God, you are doing your patriotic duty. It is your patriotic duty to worship God in order that we may have a prosperous and flourishing economy":

Right Wing Leftovers - 7/17/13

  • It is nice that Buster Wilson is encouraging people to pray for us so we will realize the need for "God’s great and grace-filled power to make things better for us as a people, a nation!"
  • It looks like "Molotov" Mitchell is still mad at Glenn Beck for calling his news program "For The Record," which was the name of Mitchell's video programs.
  • Oh look, it is another video of "Coach" Dave getting worked up and yelling at the camera.
  • Matt Barber says leaders of Fuller Theological Seminary will be held accountable by God for allowing a LGBT group to form on campus.
  • Shockingly, Peter Sprigg and Monica Cole are not supportive of a summer camp for transgender children.
  • Finally, the AFA is outraged over efforts to promote marriage equality in Mississippi because "homosexuals already have the same marriage rights that everyone has. Every person in America has the right to marry someone of the opposite sex. Mississippians should not be fooled by the deceitful tactics that these groups are using to induce pity for homosexuals who cannot be married in Mississippi, because they have chosen a homosexual lifestyle."

Fischer Declares Liz Cheney Is Not 'A Patriot' Because She Is Too Pro-Gay

Bryan Fischer has written a post declaring his opposition to the Liz Cheney after she announced that she will be challenging Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi in the Republican primary on the grounds that Cheney is not a patriot because she is insufficiently anti-gay:

The massive problem is that on values issues, which matter most right now for America’s future, she will fight for the team wearing lavender instead of the team wearing red, white and blue.

In 2009, she inartfully dodged two attempts to press her to declare her position on sodomy-based marriage, which in the end means just one thing: she’s for it.

Although I’m not aware that she has declared a position on ENDA, in 2009 she supported the State Department’s decision, in flagrant violation of DOMA, the law of the land at the time, to extend benefits to same-sex partners.

Said Ms. Cheney, “I think it’s wrong to discriminate, in those relationships, based on someone’s sexual preference.” Homosexual activists prefer her to Enzi for the sole reason that she just might be a “sleeper vote for LGBT rights.”

She supported the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, which is driving values-based members of the military out of the service and ushering in militant homosexuals. Currently, 55-60% of  all sexual assaults in the military now, thanks in part to the DADT repeal, are committed by homosexuals.

Liz Cheney will be an undeniably appealing candidate, and conservatives will be tempted to turn a blind eye toward her support for the deviancy cabal. But we do so not only at our peril but at the peril of the future of our country.

George Washington famously said, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness.”

The bottom line: Liz Cheney is not, under Washington’s definition, a patriot. She will throw her weight behind those who are placing improvised explosive devices beneath both of Washington’s indispensable pillars. When the roof collapses on us all, those who supported Liz Cheney will be partly to blame.

Pennsylvania AFA Head: Existence of Gay Elected Officials Means There's No Employment Discrimination

Philadelphia Weekly recently interviewed Diane Gramley, head of the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Family Association, about an employment nondiscrimination law working its way through the state legislature. The interview was so good that today they decided to publish a transcript of the whole thing.

After lamenting that the gay people don’t want to be just “accepted,” but instead “want us to celebrate their sin,” Gramley goes on to argue that employment nondiscrimination laws aren’t needed because Pennsylvania has openly gay elected officials, so “where’s the proof that they’re being discriminated against?”

OK. So, we have two openly-gay members of the state House currently, Brian Sims and Mike Fleck. Are you worried about the work that they’re doing in Harrisburg—not just HB 300, but, say, the anti-bullying bill?

It’s the same type of situation. The anti-bullying bill is not necessarily about anti-bullying. To me, an anti-bullying bill does not have a list of protected classes. All students should be protected. I know the U.S. Department of Education is pushing this anti-bullying thing with sexual identity and orientation.

As far as being concerned, I know when Mike Fleck came out in December, he said nothing had changed. But down deep, I knew that things had changed, because most of those legislators, no matter where they’re at, or what level of government it is, who are open homosexuals, will be pushing their agenda.

And that’s the evidence right there. They both signed onto HB 300 and I know that Fleck was part of Equality Forum in April. I am concerned. But they’re saying they’re being discriminated against. One of the main mantras is that being gay can get you fired.

Right. That’s true. It can.

I’ve been to many local township or borough or even county meetings where that’s one of the main lines they use. But where’s the evidence? We have two open homosexuals who are state legislators. We have Dan Miller, who ran for mayor in Harrisburg, an open homosexual. He’s the controller right now, you know. So, where’s the proof that they’re being discriminated against?

OK, but that’s them. That’s three people. Wouldn’t it be easier for people who are gay to have laws in place to say they couldn’t be fired or couldn’t be refused staying in a hotel, just for their own sake?

But where’s the proof that it happens? That’s my whole thing. Where’s the proof that such happens?

Are you saying it doesn’t happen at all?

I’m not saying it doesn’t happen at all, but as far as the need to pass a law that you get into a situation where a homosexual is—if this law passes, if a homosexual is not hired or maybe fired from their job simply because they’re not doing their job properly, then their excuse could be, ‘I’m going to sue the company because I was fired because I was a homosexual.’ You could set up scenarios like that.

I guess that’s a possibility. But you could say that about anything, about the Civil Rights Act.

Which has nothing to do with homosexuality. The civil rights fight was dealing with an immutable characteristic. No one can change their skin color. No one can change from where they—their nationality. With the homosexual rights—quote, unquote, rights fight—they’re talking about something that can be changed. Homosexuality is not immutable. And I know a number of ex-gays. So, it is not something that cannot be changed.
