When the Day of Silence takes place one week from tomorrow, Religious Right groups are urging parents to keep their children home from school if students decide to participate. During the Day of Silence, sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN), students take a vow of silence in solidarity with closeted and bullied LGBT youth.
The groups organizing the “DOS Walkout” include the American Family Association, Liberty Counsel, state chapters of Concerned Women for America and the Coalition of African-American Pastors, a front group for the National Organization for Marriage.
They have joined forces with smaller groups such as Scott Lively’s Abiding Truth Ministries, Brian Camenker’s MassResistance, Peter LaBarbera’s Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, Janet Porter’s Faith 2 Action and Linda Harvey’s Mission America in urging parents to “actively oppose this hijacking of the classroom for political purposes” by “calling your child out of school if your child's school allows students and/or teachers to refuse to speak during instructional time on the Day of Silence.”
Harvey penned a WorldNetDaily column warning that the Day of Silence is a Satanic (and Marxist!) plot to destroy America:
The “Day of Silence” is a stunning example of the widespread indoctrination of youth culture with trashy, deviant behavior masquerading as acceptable conduct. The GLSEN-sponsored pro-homosexual event is a well-developed exercise in cultural Marxism and, I have come to believe, a tragic symbol of the rapid demise of America.
And ironically, it poses as a protest of “bullying.” Satan is laughing as he messes with the minds and bodies of our dear children. This event is a blatant exercise in mental, emotional, physical and spiritual molestation as our children become apologists for sodomy and gender confusion.
Instead of discussing LGBT themes with students, Harvey recommends that school officials simply declare that gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people don’t exist:
What if we declared that there are, or shouldn’t be, any such students? That no one is born this way? That these are destructive behaviors that no conference should ever, ever be detailing to our precious kids? And these are identities that no day of silence should ever honor?
She said on her daily radio broadcast yesterday that “it’s a really sad situation when impressionable kids are manipulated” by those who “promote homosexuality and gender confusion.”
“No one, especially young people, should take on this identity and behavior,” she said of homosexuality, while claiming that the event persecutes opponents of gay rights.
Laurie Higgins of the Illinois Family Institute accused GLSEN of “silencing” conservatives:
"They're exploiting legitimate, anti-bullying sentiment to achieve their ultimate goal of eradicating conservative, moral, social, and political beliefs about homosexuality, or at least silencing them," she adds.
She says parents who keep their children home on that day should tell school administrators they're doing so because schools participating in Day of Silence are allowing classrooms with captive audiences to be politicized.
In it, she lamented that there are children who are “mentally being raped by this effort” and claimed that it “should be criminal for schools to promote such a behavior that is life threatening.”
As someone who had been in homosexual behavior for almost ten years and was no longer a part of that sinful behavior, my heart went out to the unsuspecting children who were mentally being raped by this effort to normalize a behavior that the three major religions of the world call abominable.
Let’s look at this through Heaven’s eyes. Jesus made it very clear how He felt about harming the children when He said if one harmed one of the little ones who believed in Him, it would be better for them for a millstone to be tied around their neck and thrown in the river.
What must Jesus think about this Day of Silence occurring in the schools? What must He think about Christian parents who send their children to school on that day? What must He think about Christian school teachers who attend school on that day? Each year there is a counter event occurring on The Day of Silence called Day of Silence Walkout.
Homosexuality is one of the numerous sexual perversions spreading through society like an out of control California brush fire. It destroys everything in its path. I know this because I was a part of it until I reached the end of my “rope of homosexuality”. A day did come that I realized I was wrong, I needed forgiveness and I needed the Lord Jesus Christ.
Just a few days ago I received a call from a Massachusetts mother, weeping over her son. She explained that her son became involved in homosexuality in high school after joining the school [endorsed?] gay club (Gay Straight Alliance). When he went to college he took every ‘gender’ course they offered. He is twenty two now and his mom said, “the schools destroyed him”. She is so fearful that his life will be ended early by one of the many diseases associated with his homosexual behavior that her heart is broken.
On April 15th the schools in this country will once again be celebrating the Day of Silence. Why are schools allowing a behavior that shortens one’s life span by 20 years and opens the door to 30 health risks (CDC) to be celebrated in their schools? It is reckless and should be criminal for schools to promote such a behavior that is life threatening.
Mission America’s Linda Harvey is preparing to launch more boycott campaigns, this time against the NFL and NBA for criticizing anti-LGBT legislation passed in Georgia and North Carolina, respectively.
In a WorldNetDaily column today titled “Will GOP Run or Stand Against Pink Goliath?,” the Religious Right activist and radio host blamed the leagues’ “spiteful lesbian lawyers” for their reactions, urging “real men” to stand up to them.
“Time for some boycotts, sports fans,” she said.
What happened to real men in pro sports? Or are their spiteful lesbian lawyers calling the shots? Time for some boycotts, sports fans.
The North Carolina politicians did the right thing. GOP officials in South Dakota and Tennessee should act with similar courage. American has witnessed a few recent examples of GOP spine, standing against the rabid homosexual lobby, but still way too many RINO Republicans yield to “sextremists” under growing pressure from business, Hollywood and professional sports.
Gender confusion is not everyone else’s problem. It’s your problem. It is not the responsibility of the world to rearrange itself to hide mental illness. And while we should extend compassion to such confused people, our tolerance ends at the normalization of instability and perversion, and risk to children.
Disney, Marvel and Viacom said they wouldn’t make films in Georgia if the bill became law. The NFL was hinting that Atlanta wouldn’t be considered to host a future Super Bowl if the bill became law. Where are the real men? Come on, players; you don’t all agree with this position by the league! Someone speak out and say so.
Harvey complained that the video, which features same-sex couples, “makes some of us want to gag” and, on top of that, undermines the true spirit of Valentine’s Day.
“These ads flagrantly celebrate sin interspersed with legitimate relationships, in the typical 'LGBT' practice of using natural families and even impressionable children as human shields,” she wrote, warning that acceptance of same-sex couples will eventually normalize incest and pedophilia.
Harvey also said that a LGBT-themed youth conference sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign over Valentine’s Day weekend “should draw parents nationwide to the streets in protest.”
How will you celebrate Valentine’s Day? God is the author of love, and Scripture reveals some marvelous descriptions of both human and godly love.
But the contrast between God’s expressions of love and some in our secular culture could not be greater.
Many of you have seen the TV ad showing couples hugging and kissing behind a screen where they appear only in X-ray form. This campaign from Valentine’s Day last year continued into 2016.
When one couple emerges from behind the screen, the audience gasps to see two women. In the longer YouTube version, a small boy accompanies a male couple, presumably making them a “family.” The ad’s tag lines try to convince us that “love has no gender” and “love has no labels.”
Which makes some of us want to gag. These ads flagrantly celebrate sin interspersed with legitimate relationships, in the typical “LGBT” practice of using natural families and even impressionable children as human shields.
Are you buying this, that it doesn’t matter what form love takes? That’s what “LGBT” groups have been selling for years, the cultural deceit that many relationships one calls love can be justifiably sexualized. No caring person should object, it is claimed, and experimental forms deserve “equality” and even legitimacy as marriage.
The recklessness of such policies is obvious to many of you, I’m sure. Are there limits? How about adults and teens? How about siblings? Do these types of “love” deserve no labels?
But what should draw parents nationwide to the streets in protest is the type of “love” being promoted to vulnerable minors by adults in positions of seeming credibility. And on Valentine’s Day weekend, no less.
The largest homosexual group in the country, the Human Rights Campaign, is sponsoring again this year a conference for teachers, youth counselors and youth themselves, February 12-14, near Dallas, Texas. Last year’s conference in Portland was radical enough. This year’s is even worse.
Called “Time to Thrive,” this presentation of legitimized sleaze is like so many aspects of the homosexual agenda directed to youth: The labels and terms are deceptive, because no child or teen will “thrive” if they embrace homosexuality or gender confusion.
In her weekly column for WorldNetDaily yesterday, Mission America’s Linda Harvey railed against “the GOP establishment” for “‘going gay,’” warning that doing so “will eviscerate the GOP.”
Harvey said that gay peoples’ “aberrant sexual conduct is a blight on America” that’s “sinful, unhealthy and immoral, and there is no need for anyone to engage in it” since “people are not constructed for these bizarre behaviors.” This “behavior,” she wrote, is “tearing our country – and families – apart.”
Angry that gay conservative commentator Guy Benson is making an appearance at CPAC in March, Harvey warned that Republicans are “becoming willing tools of the gaystapo” whose leaders are “full of pink testosterone” and bent on promoting “child-endangering, changeable deviance.”
Jeb Bush and John Kasich hired them for key campaign staff positions.
John Boehner and others campaigned for them.
Speaker Paul Ryan said he would vote to grant them special rights.
Chris Christie happily signed a key bill granting their New Jersey leaders full access to children in public schools under the guise of preventing “bullying.”
And Nikki Haley pledged that a future Republican president “… would respect differences in modern families” while respecting religious freedom, which many see as irreconcilable objectives.
I’m talking, of course, about those involved in proud homosexual behavior. It’s true there’s nothing foundationally different about these people. Each is made in the image of God and shares constitutional rights with every other American. But their aberrant sexual conduct is a blight on America. It’s sinful, unhealthy and immoral, and there is no need for anyone to engage in it. People are not constructed for these bizarre behaviors.
And regarding establishment GOP leaders, it seems they’re becoming willing tools of the gaystapo, the same revolutionaries who routinely bully bakers, florists, photographers and innkeepers without batting an eyelash.
The Human Rights Campaign and others are now so full of pink testosterone that they boldly advocate denial of First Amendment religious freedoms to anyone who resists the required obeisance: bowing before homosexual and transgendered demands – which is why no open homosexuals, even if they claim affinity with conservative values, deserve a key platform, like Townhall’s Guy Benson will get at the upcoming CPAC meeting March 2-5. Benson is an advocate of same-sex “marriage.”
Our future president should respect two “moms” who happily omit a father figure? Haley and others are pledging support for behavior tearing our country – and families – apart, conduct God calls an abomination.
Respect from the “gay rights” movement toward other views? There is none. This movement divides and destroys, all because of unhealthy, deviant behavior, and it will eviscerate the GOP if they embrace child-endangering, changeable deviance.
As Kyle pointed out a few weeks ago, people who hate gay people sure do seem to love Ted Cruz.
Today, Cruz can add another name to his long list of anti-gay endorsers: Mission America’s Linda Harvey, who as a columnist and host of a conservative radio show spreads some of the most extreme anti-gay rhetoric in the country.
Harvey announced her support for Cruz in a joint press release with a number of Ohio conservatives, including Phil Burress of Citizens for Community Values and Molly Smith of Cleveland Right to Life. The release directs supporters to the website of Keep The Promise, a pro-Cruz Super PAC led by Religious Right activist David Barton, but the endorsements have not been promoted by the PAC or the Cruz campaign, at least not yet.
Perhaps Harvey thinks that Cruz will be the president she has longed for who will issue “an Emancipation Proclamation … to free America from the tyranny of sodomy.”
Harvey, who is boycotting so many pro-LGBT businesses that she complains she is running out of places to shop, has just this year:
Harvey has also advised parents not to let gay doctors or nurses treat their children, even when they’re hospitalized, and has insisted that “there is no proof that there’s ever anything like a gay, lesbian or bisexual or transgendered child, or teen or human.”
Burress and Smith also have anti-gay records that allow them to fit right in with their fellow Cruz supporters. Burress, whose Citizens for Community Values is the Ohio state affiliate of the Family Research Council, was an influential player in the passage of waves of anti-gay-marriage legislation in the 1990s and early 2000s, although his true passion is fighting against pornography. Smith, the head of Cleveland Right to Life and a leader of the fetal personhood group Personhood Alliance, has clashed with the National Right to Life Committee over her anti-gay activism.
Both Burress and Smith have fought to stop the Republican Party from becoming too friendly to gay people, attacking Ohio Sen. Rob Portman when he came out in favor of marriage equality. Burress, who called Portman “a very troubled man,” urged the senator to put his gay son into ex-gay therapy and later vowed to run a primary challenger against him.
Mission America’s Linda Harvey is on a mission to stop the Equality Act in Congress, telling Cleveland Right to Life’s Molly Smith on her radio program last week that endorsing such LGBT equality measures is “the least compassionate, the meanest and most hateful thing you can do” because it will cause more people to think it’s okay to be LGBT.
Harvey urged listeners to call their members of Congress and urge them to oppose the legislation and said that she’s trying to get GOP presidential candidates to promise to veto it. (She’s already extracted a veto promise from Marco Rubio.)
She told Smith that the Equality Act would “affect our entire country,” which has already been damaged enough by “the people that want to endorse open homosexual behavior and take us all into this sewer of younger and younger children declaring themselves homosexual or transgender.”
She added that the “tragedies in personal lives that are directly attributable to this is just amazing.”
When Smith interjected a reminder that Christians should “love” gay people even while being “completely, completely opposed to the behavior of a homosexual,” Harvey agreed.
“They’ve been told that this is compassion,” Harvey said. “And we all feel compassion for these people, and some of them are struggling. Some of them are not struggling, some of them are very happy with where they’re at and then they want the whole world to change around them and the desires they have adopted.
“That can’t happen. We want truth. We want truth to be maintained for those people who are struggling and who want to escape it, we don’t want more children to be drawn into this and so, on a public policy level, the least compassionate, the meanest and most hateful thing you can do is to endorse things that will accelerate and confirm this behavior in more and more people in our country.”
Harvey also worried that the Equality Act would accelerate a trend in schools toward students thinking that being gay is “wonderful and you should just embrace it.”
“We should not be implying that to kids anywhere,” she said, “but it’s throughout the curriculum. It’s not just in sex education, it’s in social studies, it’s in English literature. They read these books that have openly homosexual and always attractive homosexual characters. There’s never one that’s presented as if there’s a problem with that.”
On Saturday, Mission America’s Linda Harvey spoke with Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality about how she and other anti-gay activists are running out of places to shop because so many major businesses have announced their support for LGBT rights.
Harvey criticized the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, which she called “a huge fascist scheme to reward homosexual, this immoral behavior, and I can’t imagine how many hundreds of thousands of stories there are out there that we never hear about of people in the workplace whose views are silenced and feel like they work in a concentration camp.”
“Well yes, that’s what political correctness does,” LaBarbera said. “It forces people to be victimized at work.”
In a recent radio commentary, Harvey similarly vented her outrage that she can’t find anywhere to go Christmas shopping because “the big retailers” are “doing everything the homosexual movement wants them to do.”
In her WorldNetDaily column yesterday, Mission America’s Linda Harvey lamented that Religious Right activists like herself who boycott pro-LGBT businesses are running out of places to shop.
“Well, it’s that time again — time to get out the Christmas list and start hitting the stores,” she wrote. “The problem is — what stores? For any Christian who wants to spend hard-earned dollars with family-friendly, Christian-affirming retailers, restaurants and service providers, the list is growing shorter all the time.”
Harvey urged readers to avoid stores such as Macy’s, Target, Walmart and JC Penney, along with items from Mattel, Levi-Strauss and General Mills. For online shoppers, Harvey said that Amazon, Google and Facebook should also be off-limits.
Companies that post high scores on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, Harvey wrote, are joining “Satan’s Office Party” and “the nation’s leading self-declared enemies of Christians.”
While this may be difficult, Harvey hopes that LGBT rights opponents remember the risks of adopting “anti-American, pro-deviance legislation” supported by these companies and think “about the grave harm homosexuality is doing to American culture, to our schools, to our freedoms, to our churches.”
Mission America's Linda Harvey is no fan of the students protesting the University of Missouri's handling of incidents of racial bias on campus, warning in a column today that "ISIS recruiters could come in behind the disturbances at the University of Missouri and other colleges and reap a great harvest."
"This can only end badly," she writes of the protesters. "When we see the carnage in Paris and look at the mob rule taking over a Midwestern American campus, surely we can see that terrorist attacks loom in our nation’s future."
Today’s irresponsible social media, vile extremism and flat-out ignorance in “higher” education create a dangerous Playdoh student who can be molded by race baiters, sexual anarchists, anti-capitalists and even worse– terrorists.
ISIS recruiters could come in behind the disturbances at the University of Missouri and other colleges and reap a great harvest, because even their student leaders think the real problem is “hate speech” which makes them feel “unsafe.” Their boiling points are low, because their own distress over imaginary “microaggressions” is high.
Welcome to our sorority house, local imam and your friends from Syria. Tell us what to think.
Busy verbally and politically trashing the heritage of parents, grandparents, military heroes and western civilization in general, their hyper-sensitive ears can only tolerate “diversity,” which is nothing of the kind but actually a rigid template of destructive agendas: feminism, “LGBTQ” behaviors, non-Judeo-Christian faiths, and racialism.
This can only end badly. When we see the carnage in Paris and look at the mob rule taking over a Midwestern American campus, surely we can see that terrorist attacks loom in our nation’s future.
When are we going to hold colleges accountable for their lack of actual diversity, their aversion to free speech and even more foundationally, their deliberate suppression of the truth?
On her radio commentary this morning, Mission America's Linda Harvey declared that President Obama's support for the Equality Act and his appearance on the cover of Out magazine are signs that America is under God's judgment.
"Remember that radical homosexual bill on Congress I've been telling you about?" Harvey asked. "The so-called Equality Act? Well, our president Barack Obama has announced he is endorsing this legislation, which would make homosexual behavior and gender confusion civil rights under U.S. law, just like race or religion."
"And to make matters even worse," she continued, "he just became the first sitting U.S. president to appear on the cover of a homosexual magazine. Obama's photo is on the front of Out magazine because he was named its ally of the year for 2015. Friends, America seems to be under judgment when we have such misguided leaders."
Mission America president Linda Harvey published a doozy of a column in WorldNetDaily on Tuesday, in which she insisted that gay rights groups are pushing for child abuse because they know that the “correlation between child molestation and the development of same-sex attraction for some youth is irrefutable.” (Of course, that’s not at all the case).
Harvey insists that LGBT activists, whom she says themselves were likely molested as children, are out to abuse kids in hopes of turning them not only into gay people but also into gay rights activists, comparing this nonexistent recruiting process to Stockholm Syndrome.
She concludes her incendiary column by asserting that the Obama administration and public schools now want America to “reward child molesters” and give them access to kids.
Innocence is repulsive to many liberals.
Their contempt forms the subtext of leftist policies involving children, like the gender-rebellion con job Obama’s federal Department of Education is attempting through mandates about school bathrooms and locker rooms, twisting U.S. Title IX law in the process.
Modesty? Privacy? Chastity? So dull, so unenlightened. Semi-nude cavorting in pride parades is what children really need, along with sex educators and homosexual adults to rescue them from the prison of their parents’ repression. Get out there, kids, and explore being “queer,” and the ACLU will defend your rights if needed.
These activists have an obsessive desire to “support” and “protect” children. Most parents and grandparents would call it corruption.
But the reality goes further and gets darker. The correlation between child molestation and the development of same-sex attraction for some youth is irrefutable. (Colleague Jason Salamone makes the case with numerous citations in this article.)
Wholesome young faces who should be left to develop normally are too tempting for some elite sexual anarchists, believing they are exempt from bourgeois mores. Children, if asked, would really prefer not to be lured somewhere by a shady adult, shown pornography, given alcohol or drugs, told they “want this” and were “born this way” and end up in intimate contact they never chose, contact that messes with their body and soul and may take a lifetime to overcome.
Many recover, but some go on to embrace these premature, perverted desires. Some even become advocates for overturning marriage and civil rights law to enshrine homosexuality and gender rebellion as norms.
The movement for “LGBT equality” is largely built on this quicksand. All of America is endangered if we bless the rotten fruits of criminal conduct against children. Are we insane?
It’s time America called the homosexual activists on their Stockholm syndrome. They were not born this way, but created through sexual indoctrination.
The dictionary defines “Stockholm syndrome” as “the psychological tendency of a hostage to bond with, identify with, or sympathize with his or her captor.”
Our laws, cultural standards and even our Constitution are being shredded by the demands of deviants who weren’t always so. They were corrupted, often through child molestation.
Should any responsible American reward child molesters?
Mission America’s Linda Harvey dedicated her weekly WorldNetDaily column today to likening the LGBT community to “a Halloween haunted house,” claiming that “our increasingly bizarre youth culture now conjures up the godless spirit of Halloween every day to molest the souls of vulnerable kids.”
She decried an ESPN story about a young gay lacrosse player, lamenting that “denying one’s actual male heterosexual biology is heroic and courageous in the truth-free ‘LGBT’ parallel universe,” and similarly criticized a trans teen’s decision to have sex reassignment surgery as a “sham.”
“Welcome to sexual-anarchist America, where it’s Halloween every day,” Harvey wrote. “And it’s just as spooky and godless as the real Halloween on Oct. 31. Demonic spirits are hard at work in the souls of many confused, defenseless children, seducing them to embrace nightmares of mutilated identity and dehumanizing sexual practices.”
It’s ghastly and menacing, fiendish and chilling. Have we entered a Halloween haunted house?
No, we’re navigating the horrifying and ugly world of American sexuality, which is becoming an outright freak show. Our increasingly bizarre youth culture now conjures up the godless spirit of Halloween every day to molest the souls of vulnerable kids.
A 12- year- old lacrosse player declared himself to be “gay” back in August, and ESPN broadcast this to the whole world. There goes any chance for this boy to grow up in privacy and be allowed the freedom to change his mind. No, that would be homophobic. Better to trap him with this false label for the good of the movement. Denying one’s actual male heterosexual biology is heroic and courageous in the truth-free “LGBT” parallel universe.
And the sports media’s embrace of this anti-male, child-threatening agenda is a baffling voodoo trick in and of itself.
A 17-year-old Chicago girl recently had healthy breasts amputated because she read about the possibility of becoming “transgendered” and decided this was the answer to her depression and suicidal tendencies – and her parents said, “Well, OK.” So Emily is now called “Emmett” and has just begun hormone therapy to (supposedly) become a male.
Which will never happen. It’s all a sham, and our children are the innocent victims. This child was advised and treated by Lurie Children’s Hospital and homosexual HIV-positive pediatrician Dr. Robert Garofalo.
Similarly, “Gavin” Grimm, a wannabe boy in Gloucester County, Virginia, has launched a battle over her demand to invade the privacy of boys in their school restroom. A federal judge ruled this summer that Title IX sex discrimination federal law does not apply, unlike the ACLU and the Obama administration maintain.
Title IX is based on biological, not imaginary gender. So this girl has now sued for a new judge, presumably one less in touch with reality.
Welcome to sexual-anarchist America, where it’s Halloween every day. And it’s just as spooky and godless as the real Halloween on Oct. 31.
Demonic spirits are hard at work in the souls of many confused, defenseless children, seducing them to embrace nightmares of mutilated identity and dehumanizing sexual practices.
“Halloween celebrates the spirits of darkness like no other event,” she warned, claiming that demonic forces “are more active than ever in recent times in America because we are inviting their activity in our lives. So here’s my question about Halloween: Why hand your children to dark spiritual powers on a silver platter?”
While it starts with children trick-or-treating for candy, she said, it then turns into parties, which she said are demonic and dangerous.
Mission America's Linda Harvey is furious at Southern Baptist Convention official Rev. Al Mohler for his recent remark that the "Christian church has sinned against the LGBT community” by approaching LGBT issues “in a superficial way.”
As Harvey put it in her WorldNetDaily column today, "The self-labeled 'LGBT community' as a lobby does not deserve the apologies of the Christian church. Instead, this revolutionary collective needs to apologize to Christians, to families and to America for dragging us into a sewer and manipulating believers to go there with them."
She added that the LGBT community must also apologize for marriage equality and pride parades, especially to children.
The self-labeled “LGBT community” as a lobby does not deserve the apologies of the Christian church. Instead, this revolutionary collective needs to apologize to Christians, to families and to America for dragging us into a sewer and manipulating believers to go there with them.
We deserve an apology for the sin of homosexual pride parades. We deserve an apology for demanding the framework of marriage be re-made in your image, instead of the structure designed by God.
Our children deserve an apology for the millstone-worthy offense of being led into sin, being taught the lie that people are born to engage in sodomy or to amputate healthy body parts. The resulting corruption of untold numbers of children can only be surmised.
An apology needs to come from the Human Rights Campaign, Fairness Louisville, GLAAD, NGLTF and many other groups. Their leaders are in serious spiritual danger unless they repent.
Mission America’s Linda Harvey is furious that President Obama “continues to exalt the climate-change agenda above actual global crises,” namely the “crises” of gay rights and reproductive freedom.
“Disease, emotional trauma, mutilation, family division, domestic violence and self-harm follow in the wake of ‘LGBTQ etc.’ identities and ‘reproductive rights,’” Harvey wrote in her WorldNetDaily column today. “There’s no way to disguise or adequately manage the wreckage left in the wake of these unnatural, life-rejecting behaviors.”
Warning that “our culture’s current embrace of sexual license is an environmental disaster,” the Religious Right activist declared that “the Gulf oil spill is pond scum in comparison.”
If you still have your children in a public school, you might want to have a talk with them about the true meaning of “sustainability.”
Or you may want to call your kids who are off at college. Will any of those university courses on their “green” campuses assign students a project to evaluate the carbon footprint of a “gay pride” parade? Or an abortion clinic?
As Obama continues to exalt the climate-change agenda above actual global crises, the tragedy is that sexual anarchy will never be objectively measured for its profound contribution to human rights abuses.
You know this word, “sustainable.” The Common Core school framework is full of sacrosanct “sustainable” propaganda, much of it built on the unsustainable quicksand of shifting politics, Marxist economic redistribution schemes and population control.
But one lesson that’s omitted is the high-risk and low-return of homosexuality, gender- switching and sexual promiscuity. Sexual sin, it turns out, is an unsustainable human activity of the first order. The reality is, the sexual anarchy movement is unsustainable.
Real humans are damaged and destroyed. Disease, emotional trauma, mutilation, family division, domestic violence and self-harm follow in the wake of “LGBTQetc.” identities and “reproductive rights.” There’s no way to disguise or adequately manage the wreckage left in the wake of these unnatural, life-rejecting behaviors.
Human sexual excess consumes vast amounts of energy. And what’s the return? Once we account for the clean-up, the management and the waste, our culture’s current embrace of sexual license is an environmental disaster. The Gulf oil spill is pond scum in comparison.
Rowan County, Kentucky, clerk Kim Davis’ attempt to block her office from issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples has inspired Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly, who writes in a column today that Rowan County should become “a ‘sanctuary county’ where the biblical view of marriage continues to be honored and respected.”
However, Schlafly writes in WorldNetDaily, judicial tyrants are instead sending Davis to jail “merely for abiding by state law and the Bible.”
When the Supreme Court ruled by the narrowest possible margin that Kentucky’s definition of marriage is unconstitutional, the Court’s decision was qualified by its assurance that religious freedom would not be jeopardized. “The First Amendment ensures that religious organizations and persons are given proper protection,” the Court solemnly intoned on June 26.
In the Appalachian hills of eastern Kentucky, one brave woman is testing whether Justice Anthony Kennedy really meant it when he wrote those words. But the local federal judge for eastern Kentucky, David Bunning, wrongly sent Kim Davis to jail for her beliefs, without respecting or accommodating her sincere Christian beliefs.
It is not “rule of law” to jail someone based on judge-made law; it is “rule by judges.” Kim Davis is not committing civil disobedience, because she has not violated any law. She was arrested, humiliated with a mug shot and jailed, merely for abiding by state law and the Bible.
When the Supreme Court ruled that all 50 states must license same-sex unions on the same terms as marriage, the court was implicitly declaring that Christianity and the Bible are wrong. If San Francisco can be a sanctuary city, let’s allow Rowan County, Kentucky, to be a “sanctuary county” where the biblical view of marriage continues to be honored and respected.
Linda Harvey of Mission America agrees, calling in her own WorldNetDaily column for such sanctuary cities to not only ban same-sex marriage but also prohibit gay pride parades and sexual reassignment surgery. Because “family life would be much healthier and safer in these cities,” Harvey thinks “the trend would be contagious as people share their positive experiences with friends and relatives across the country”:
Since we are beginning to see violations of constitutional rights based on objections to homosexuality as marriage, I believe there’s a clear precedent for establishing sanctuary cities for authentic, lawful, man/woman marriage.
Think about how great life would be in those cities. After all, unlike the defiance of immigration law, these cities would be upholding the actual law under our actual Constitution, not the imaginary one in the mind of Justice Anthony Kennedy.
So, why not cities that uphold a standing, just law? Family life would be much healthier and safer in these cities. Keep out the vile “gay-pride” parades as well as harassment lawsuits against bakers and florists. And how about no pro-homosexual lessons in school, falsely implying that some people are born homosexual, or born to mutilate themselves by sex-change surgery? Also, no ban on counseling for teens who have same-sex attractions.
Of course, such cities would not be without challenges. They would be targets for dirty tricks, phony “hate crimes,” special sections on “gay apartheid” by the New York Times and so on. The formulaic fables and drama, based on no facts but lots of screeching, can be composed now in advance.
We are not unaware of the schemes of Satan, nor of Saul Alinsky adherents.
It will take a courageous city council to take this step, yet the trend would be contagious as people share their positive experiences with friends and relatives across the country.
On her radio bulletin today, Linda Harvey of Mission America expressed outrage that Kentucky clerk Kim Davis had to go to court after barring her office from issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
Harvey insisted that couples seeking marriage licenses in Rowan County should have just gone to a different county office where they wouldn't have faced discrimination from a public official, all the while claiming that same-sex marriages are fraudulent marriages anyway.
“We must challenge this idea that homosexuality reigns supreme in this country,” she said. “We must speak out against the tyranny that threatens the very fabric of America and how we work, what we teach our children, what we are allowed to say publicly, how we worship and what we are expected to support or else face retaliation.”
Mission America’s Linda Harvey is outraged that many journalists refer to transgender people by their preferred pronouns, telling readers of her weekly WorldNetDaily column that they must fight back any time they “hear a so-called journalist or government official refer to any male like Bruce Jenner as ‘she’” because “our children deserve a heritage of sane pronouns.”
Harvey, attacking the media for “inventing gender fables,” calls the use of preferred pronouns “untrue, inappropriate, cruel, disrespectful and hypocritical.”
She claims that such “naked propaganda” is suppressing the truth that trans people are really just possessed by the Devil: “There’s one tragic explanation for such pervasive delusion: Demonic deception may be active in the lives of these people and their advocates. Prayers are needed instead of lies.”
The next time you hear a so-called journalist or government official refer to any male like Bruce Jenner as “she,” please scream, then blast an email to demand that truth be told.
Our children deserve a heritage of sane pronouns.
If reporters aspire to a higher plane than naked propaganda, they need to stop inventing gender fables and describe objectively verifiable attributes of actual people.
Responsible journalists don’t make up the street addresses and ages of people for news reporting. Why invent gender? This popular mythology is no more justifiable than picking new names for people, variable facts in a police investigation, or inventing witnesses to crime who don’t exist.
Bruce Jenner is a guy. So is American traitor Bradley (not “Chelsea”) Manning. So are “Laverne” Cox, confused star of “Orange is the New Black,” and “Jazz” Jennings, teen TV personality. These are males – and the use of female names and pronouns is untrue, inappropriate, cruel, disrespectful and hypocritical.
Chastity Bono is a woman, not a troubled “man” called “Chaz.” There is no “he” in the reality of this person’s life, only in her public mask.
What is the problem with claiming one’s authentic sex? There’s one tragic explanation for such pervasive delusion: Demonic deception may be active in the lives of these people and their advocates. Prayers are needed instead of lies.
Mission America’s Linda Harvey stopped by the radio program hosted by Cleveland Right to Life’s Molly Smith last week, where the two warned that God’s judgment is already beginning to befall America thanks to gay pride parades and Planned Parenthood.
Smith told Harvey about a recent promotional video put out by the Cuyahoga County GOP that features some vaguely rainbow colors in the background, which she found “very upsetting,” along with the failure of Republican leaders in Congress to defund Planned Parenthood.
“Well, you know, and many people would say that the signs are all here that we are reaping some of God’s judgment,” Harvey agreed. “I believe that the fact that we are being shown in no uncertain terms what abortion is all about, what homosexuality is all about — they’re parading down our streets, we have hundreds of thousands of people that come to the Columbus gay pride parade, and you can see what they’re parading, it’s horrendous. And the Boy Scouts are now on board with this and they’re in these parades.”
“People should open their eyes,” she warned, “and if they’re not willing to, God is just going to give us what the majority of America, what we want, and it’s a very dark and black place that we’re heading for.”
Later in the interview, Harvey warned that opponents of gay rights might soon be forced to go to jail.
After Smith declared that “we will be persecuted and we are being persecuted,” Harvey advised listeners to “start thinking about where you will draw the line, at the workplace and schools, because you will be asked and God will be watching all of us.”
“It is going to cost,” she said. “Not simply reputation, but it may cost you a job or money. Down the road, it may cost people their freedom, there may be jail involved.”
Smith compared the future jailing of gay rights opponents to the arrests of anti-abortion protesters: “the same thing that happened in the pro-life movement, many people went to jail because they refused to accept what was going on.”
