Former GOP congressman J.D. Hayworth invited right-wing activist David Horowitz onto his Newsmax program yesterday to discuss an earth-shattering Daily Caller report that a foundation funded by George Soros sought to influence the Supreme Court’s recent immigration decision through the sneaky means of “a sophisticated amicus brief and media strategy.” (Dozens of organizations filed amicus briefs on both sides of the case, a common feature of Supreme Court cases.)
Horowitz said that while that nefarious activity was “horrible enough,” the big picture is that Soros is “a Jew-hater, an Israel-hater and an America-hater” who ought to be in jail, something for which the only hope is a Donald Trump administration.
“Soros should be in jail,” he declared. “Somebody’s got to be suing him—you know, of course you can’t put him in jail—he should be in jail for fomenting civil unrest, getting those policemen killed, tearing up cities. Surely there can be a civil suit. You can’t expect a Justice Department that’s headed by a criminal or an FBI that’s in bed with them to do something about this. But hopefully Trump will win the election and when the Republicans come in, I hope they go after Soros and shut him down.”
“The Achilles heel of western civilization,” he added later in the interview, “is its tolerance for people that hate it. This man is an enemy of western civilization and of America in particular and he’s treated like he’s just a normal actor. He needs to be in jail. He needs to be charged with the crimes of destroying Ferguson, Missouri, destroying Baltimore.”
Conservative commentator David Horowitz caused some controversy today with a Breitbart article whose headline labels Bill Kristol a “renegade Jew” for supporting a third-party alternative to Donald Trump.
Such rhetoric is nothing new from Horowitz, who in an interview today with Pennsylvania talk radio host Bobby Gunther Walsh about his new book, “Progressive Racism,” claimed that any member of the Black Lives Matter movement who calls the U.S. a “white supremacist nation” is a “stone-cold racist or a lunatic,” as proved by the pervasiveness of hip hop and the financial success of some NBA athletes.
“Black people have been accepted; not black criminals, but black people generally,” he said, citing former GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson, President Obama and others.
“Our culture is dominated by black music, if you can call that music,” he added. “Hip hop is the dominant music form, more than any other, and it pervades the white suburbs.”
“If it were true that a racial disparity, statistical disparity proves racism, then the National Basketball Association would be a racist association because 95 percent of the starting multi- multi-millionaires are black, and they make a lot of money,” he added.
“So when we hear Black Lives Matter say that America is a white supremacist nation, you know that you are listening to a stone-cold racist or a lunatic, either one,” he concluded.
Correction: We originally reported, based on a Politico article, that conservative activist David Horowitz had been tapped as a delegate for Donald Trump in California. A spokeswoman for the David Horowitz Freedom Center, however, tells us that contrary to the Politico report, if the David Horowitz listed as a Trump delegate is the same as the one who runs the Center it’s “news to him.” Horowitz has, however, urged conservatives to unify behind Trump now that he is the nominee. We’ve updated the post to reflect this.
Conservative activist and author David Horowitz is urging conservatives to unite behind Donald Trump now that he is the GOP nominee, writing in Breitbart on Sunday that “conservatives who have declared war on the primary victor are displaying a myopia that could be deadly in November when Donald Trump will lead Republicans against a party that has divided the country, destroyed its borders, empowered its enemies, and put 93 million Americans into dependency on the state.”
Horowitz, although he states a couple of qualms about Trump’s candidacy, makes a natural ally for the GOP frontrunner. After all, Horowitz based much of his recent activism on the idea that white people in America are the victims of discrimination by blacks and other racial minorities, while Trump has benefited fromthe idea of “reverse racism” among his base.
Just last month, Horowitz, the publisher of FrontPage magazine, told a radio interviewer that President Obama is “racist” for failing to recognize that it was “white Christian males” who ended slavery.
“There’s no community that’s more racist in America than the black community,” he has said.
Horowitz has urged the Republican Party to embrace this message, a dream that seems to have come true with the rise of Trump. He said in February that Trump has “hit a note that is absolutely necessary” on race. “Republicans and conservatives lose the battle,” he said, “because they won’t take the bull by the horns, they won’t call the Democrats liars, they won’t say that they’re treasonous, which they are, they won’t say that they’re racist, which they are.”
“I mean, it’s just unbelievable to me when you see how racist the Democratic Party is,” he said. “Everything is about race and everything is an attack on white people and anybody who’s not black or Latino.”
Horowitz frequently claims that Obama “hates America” and discriminates against white people by showing a preference for people with “a darker shade of skin” and supporting anti-white “lynch mobs.” He has said that Obama “would never be president if he weren’t black” because “part of the racism of our society is if you’re black you can get away with murder.”
He enthusiastically contributed to the smear campaign against Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, who some anti-Muslim activists claim infiltrated the government on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood, claiming at one point that she was “given a special dispensation to marry a Jew so she can infiltrate our government.” Horowitz has even hinted that Abedin was responsible for the attack on American diplomats in Benghazi, Libya.
Horowitz is also on board with the conspiracy theory that anti-tax activist Grover Norquist is a Muslim Brotherhood agent in the Republican Party, claiming that Norquist is secretly a “practicing Muslim.”
In Trump, it seems that Horowitz may have finally found the trash-talking, insult-heaving, white-racial-grievance-promoting, anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist candidate of his dreams.
He as accused people protesting at Trump campaign events of using “fascist tactics” reminiscent of the rise of Nazism.
Back in July, Horowitz praised Trump for his anti-immigrant rhetoric, claiming that Obama's immigration policies “import disease and kill Americans.”
“Wake up America,” he said. “There’s only one conservative who is even near to talking like this and that’s Trump and that’s why he’s way ahead.”
In the latest example of this, Horowitz gave an interview to Indianapolis talk radio host Greg Garrison yesterday in which he cited a “terrific” video by someone who appears to be a Men’s Rights Activist called “I Love My White Male Privilege!” before launching into a rant about how the Black Lives Matter movement and President Obama are racist and everyone should be thanking “white Christian males” for ending slavery.
Horowitz stated that Black Lives Matter is a “racist movement” but that Republicans don’t criticize it because they’re “afraid of being called racist.”
Garrison interjected that “there’s nothing more racist” than using the term “white privilege,” which prompted Horowitz to recommend “a terrific video on the web called ‘I’m Proud of My White Male Privilege.’”
“It points out something, actually, that I conducted a campaign in 2001 about,” he said. “It’s black Africa that enslaved blacks. White people didn’t go to Africa and throw nets over black heads, they went to slave markets and bought them from black African kings who had enslaved them.
“It’s America who ended slavery, it was not until white Christian males in England and America said slavery was wrong. And this country was founded on the proposition that all men and women of all races have the right to liberty given by God that governments can’t take away. And then we gave 350,000 lives to end the institution here, and actually American and England are responsible for ending it throughout the western hemisphere and in many parts of Africa, while it still exists today. So the legacy of America, the president has said racism is in the DNA of America. No, liberty is in the DNA of America! The president is a racist and, as I said, a traitor.”
Conservative commentator David Horowitz claimed yesterday that comparisons of Donald Trump to dictators like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini are off base and that it is instead people who protest at Donald Trump events who are “fascists” and resemble “what led to the rise of Hitler.”
“This kind of fascist tactic — which is what it is, breaking up meetings, they went in to disrupt the meeting — it’s what led to the, you know people hate this analogy, but it is what led to the rise of Hitler in the ‘30s, the communists and the Nazis broke up the meetings of the social democrats and that’s how Hitler was elected,” Horowitz told Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg. “But they’re fascist tactics anyway, the left is dedicated to shutting down the free speech of anyone who disagrees with them by calling them names like ‘racist’ or ‘sexist’ and by physical violence. And we’ve seen it from Ferguson and Baltimore, out of control leftist mobs.”
After declaring that the “only real fascists in America are on the left,” Horowitz echoed Trump in saying that protesters should be arrested, adding that student demonstrators in the 1960s should have been expelled and Black Lives Matter protesters should all be “in jail.”
David Horowitz, a conservative pundit who regularly hosts Republican elected officials at his symposiums in Florida, praised Donald Trump last week for venturing into territory that other Republicans won’t by calling Democrats out for being “treasonous” and “racist.”
“Republicans and conservatives lose the battle because they won’t take the bull by the horns,” Horowitz told Indiana talk radio host Greg Garrison, “they won’t call the Democrats liars, they won’t say that they’re treasonous, which they are, they won’t say that they’re racist, which they are.”
“I mean, it’s just unbelievable to me when you see how racist the Democratic Party is,” he said. “Everything is about race and everything is an attack on white people and anybody who’s not black or Latino.”
Yet, he said, “Republicans never mention it.”
Correction: This post originally misidentified the radio program on which Horowitz made his remarks.
Conservative activist David Horowitz, who has close ties with a number of prominent Republican elected officials, argued against the U.S. resettlement of Syrian refugees yesterday by implying that the U.S. rightly refused refugees from Nazi Germany during World War II.
In an interview with Bobby Gunther of WAEB in Pennsylvania, Horowitz stated his strong opposition to accepting Syrian refugees and, in an effort to emphasize his point, compared the current situation with the United States’ position during World War II. “Forget this refugee thing, we’re in a war!” Horowitz said. “You want to take refugees from Nazi Germany during the Second World War? Come on!”
Indeed, public opinion was strongly opposed to accepting refugees during World War II, with many citing fears that Jewish refugees would represent an internal threat to America.
Horowitz ended his commentary by stating that the Obama administration is “treasonous” for accepting refugees.
In an interview with Indianapolis talk radio host Greg Garrison last week, conservative activist David Horowitz railed against President Obama’s stance on immigration and his handling of the recent shooting of military service members in Chattanooga, claiming that Obama is trying to bring in immigrants who either carry deadly diseases or only want to come to the U.S. to kill Americans.
“When you let tens of thousands of illegals just run across your border, you import them, which is what Obama’s doing, from South America, which has bad health care and a bad environment, you’re going to import disease and kill Americans when you open your borders and bring in and allow — this isn’t even illegal, he’s importing Somalis and Nigerians and Yemenis,” Horowitz said. “We’re importing terrorists.”
He said that “Obama and the communists in the White House and the Democratic Party” show preference for people of “a darker shade of skin” while they “show their contempt for Americans at every turn.” Horowitz was also angry that the president ordered that public buildings fly the flag at half-staff five days after the Chattanooga shooting rather than earlier, leading him to conclude that “Obama hates America. He hates the Marines. He hates our military. He likes the Islamists.”
“Wake up America,” he continued. “There’s only one conservative who is even near to talking like this and that’s [Donald] Trump and that’s why he’s way ahead.”
RWW’s Paranoia-Rama takes a look at five of the week’s most absurd conspiracy theories from the Right.
This week, we learn that President Obama and Hillary Clinton are in cahoots with radical Islam, Caitlyn Jenner’s gender transition is a hoax, Ferguson has unleashed a wave of criminals, and gays continue to destroy the nation.
Obama’s Muslim Plot
Conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly explained in an interview with WorldNetDaily this week that President Obama is planning for the U.S. to take in Muslim refugees from war-torn nations such a Syria as part of his plan to wage “war on America,” knowing full well that Syrian refugees seek to “take over the world and establish their caliphate.”
“I don’t think he should let any Muslims in this country,” Schlafly said. “There is no reason why they should come in.” By permitting Muslim refugees to enter the U.S., Schlafly argued, “Obama is trying to absolutely change America by bringing in people who have no sympathy with what Americans believe.”
On her Eagle Forum blog, Schlafly also praised Ann Coulter’s new anti-immigrant screed “Adios America,” thanking Coulter for “alerting Americas to how Obama and the Democrats are destroying the land we love” by “diluting our population” with individuals “who commit all sorts of unspeakable crimes, in particular crimes against very young women and girls.”
Michael Savage joined in on the conspiracy theory, calling Obama a “con man shyster” who is attempting to destroy America by “injecting, like a virus, Muslims from Syria into all-white communities in America.” Obama, according to Savage, has also taken “infected children from Honduras and put them in every school district he could.”
Plenty of right-wing activists are upset about Caitlyn Jenner’s transition. But some have looked beyond the headlines to reveal the true conspiracy that’s afoot.
Alex Jones, host of “InfoWars”, hypothesized that Jenner’s announcement was actually just a plot to distract Americans from Obama’s mischievous, scheming ways. Jones declared that he does not “like being force-fed constantly this weird, one agenda. The obsession, it’s got to be from like five, six years, because I cover media, with the trannies and transvestites.”
“What’s behind the agenda?” Jones asked, revealing that the true agenda of the media is to not only distract us from Obama’s civil war but to “make the coolest thing to be” a “tranny or a transvestite” and glorify a “creepy old guy.”
Jones is not alone in his suspicions, as Cliff Kincaid of the conservative group Accuracy In Media wondered in Barbwire if Jenner’s transition was just “a hoax” to promote her upcoming TV show. Kincaid argued that the greatest threat is to children, criticizing Jenner’s supporters for sending an “extremely damaging” message. Kincaid made sure to warn us that “the nation may not survive, as it becomes a laughingstock before self-destructing or becoming easy pickings for a determined foreign adversary.”
While it may seem like Jenner is simply showing the world her authentic self, Kincaid urged us to question, “Where is the evidence that this is anything but a hoax?”
Hillary Clinton And Her Radical Muslim Cronies
The right loves to hate Hillary Clinton, and the latest conspiracy theories paint Clinton as a supporter and friend of “murderous Islamic thugs.” Rick Wiles, host of “Trunews,” spoke to Christopher Farrell of Judicial Watch Tuesday about his group’s claim that the U.S. compound in Benghazi was “arming Al Qaeda” and coordinating arms shipments to Islamic terrorists in Syria. While this connection may force some to then question why Islamic terrorists attacked the Benghazi compound in 2012, this question did not concern Wiles and Farrell.
Wiles compared the end of Gary Hart’s presidential campaign due to a photograph surfacing “of him with a pretty blonde sitting on his lap” to the apparent “murderous Islamic thugs sitting on the lap of Hillary Clinton.”
While a Republican-led investigation by the House Select Committee on Intelligence found Judicial Watch’s allegations about arm ships to Syria to be as credible as Hillary playing Santa with Islamic terrorists, Farrell and Wiles are not the only ones to remain unconvinced. David Horowitz, a far-right conservative activist, alleged in an interview with Newsmax TV on Tuesday that Hillary Clinton’s aide, Huma Abedin, leaked information to the militants who killed four American diplomats in Benghazi. Clinton “got four people killed in Benghazi,” Horowitz argued. “She, you know, disclosed her private emails to Huma Abedin, a Muslim Brotherhood operative that showed where Ambassador Stephens was all the time, making him a perfect target.”
‘The Ferguson Effect”
Manhattan Institute fellow Heather Mac Donald penned an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal last Friday titled “The New Nationwide Crime Wave” and the effect has been a week of media outlets sounding the alarm. Apparently, the civil unrest that began after the killing of Michael Brown has flooded the country, inspiring widespread crime.
What this theory lacks in nuance it makes up for in cherry-picked statistics that create a misleading image of increased violence and death. Switching between comparing shootings, violent felonies, and gun-related homicides, Mac Donald argued that the U.S. is “in the grips of a hysteria against cops” and that “cops have gotten the message that they should back off policing,” causing the flood gates to open and crime to wash over the nation.
This tsunami of crime, claimed Mac Donald, is the fault of the “mainstream media, the university presidents talking about assaults on blacks and of course the president and former attorney general.”
Anti-Gay Conspiracy Of The Week
This week in anti-gay conspiracies, gay men are exporting sodomy “to the entire universe” and the prospect of gay marriage will destroy America and cause millions to flee and/or demand secession.
Mike Heath, former head of the Maine Family Policy Council and current blogger on BarbWire, warned that the “[gay] virus is spreading rapidly. It won’t be enough to pervert the whole world with this evil anti-family worldview. Since the developed governments of the world aspire to colonizing planets we have to prepare for the export of sodomy to other worlds—to the entire universe!” Referencing the Apostle Paul, Heath pointed out that “you can tell when a nation has become a walking corpse when it has endorsed perverted sex.”
Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, in an interview with CNS News, had a similarly dire warning, claiming that a Supreme Court ruling in favor of marriage equality would “literally cause the destruction of our country.” The court is “toying with something that’s like dynamite and will destroy our country,” he said.
If, however, by some stroke of luck America does not blow up following a ruling in favor of marriage equality, WorldNetDaily founder and editor Joseph Farah promises that it would be met by secession and mass emigration. Farah wrote that “we need a Promised Land. We need and Exodus strategy.” He asked if there are “any governors or legislatures out there among the 50 states willing to secede to offer a refuge for the God-fearing?” If governors cannot promise Farah this, he promised us there would be a “pilgrimage by millions of Americans” fleeing marriage equality.
CNS News posted an audio clip of part of the interview:

David Horowitz, the conservative activist whose annual retreats have attracted GOP presidential hopefuls including Sen. Ted Cruz and Gov. Rick Perry, alleged in an interview with Newsmax TV yesterday that Hillary Clinton’s aide Huma Abedin leaked information to the militants who killed four American diplomats in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012.
“Look, Hillary Clinton, this woman is a criminal,” Horowitz told Newsmax host Steve Malzberg. “This woman got four people killed in Benghazi. She, you know, disclosed her private emails to Huma Abedin, a Muslim Brotherhood operative that showed where Ambassador Stephens was all the time, making him a perfect target.”
Conservative activist David Horowitz told Florida talk radio host Joyce Kaufman on Friday that President Obama’s “heart is with the enemy,” which is why he is allowing terrorists to “walk across” the southern border carrying nuclear weapons.
“All they have to do is walk across that border,” he said, “and they’re going to do it, and when they come they’re going to bring chemical, biological and eventually nuclear weapons, so don’t kid yourself.”
Kaufman agreed, citing an unfounded Judicial Watch report about an ISIS training camp near the border with Mexico and the president’s recent prayer breakfast remarks to declare that the president has “lost it.”
“He’s a traitor,” Horowitz added. “His heart is with the enemy.”
David Horowitz was invited to Newsmax today to discuss a new DHS information service for people with questions about the implementation of President Obama’s executive actions on deportation relief, which he said showed that “we let all aggressors of color get to be victims.”
“I mean, it’s not just the immigration issue,” he continued. “It’s the race issue, too. We had a lynch mob out there in Ferguson for months that spread then to the rest of the country, and they were called protesters, and it’s like there was some hurt inflicted on them. What is the hurt in taking down a criminal like Michael Brown, who’s assaulting a police officer?”
“So the left has successfully changed the equation so that if you’re here illegally, somehow we should be sympathetic to you, and somehow you have rights, and somehow we want to heed your complaints. This is suicidal,” he said.
Later in the interview, Horowitz declared that “the president of the United States is a racist” and claimed that President Obama had appointed Rev. Al Sharpton, the “chief racist” and “chief lynch-mob leader in the country,” as his “race relations advisor.” The president is “backing these lynch mobs,” he added.
Shortly after last month’s elections, conservative pundit David Horowitz gathered a variety of anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim activists, including a handful of members of Congress and far-right Dutch politician Geert Wilders, at his annual retreat at a beach resort in Florida.
It appears that Wilders formed a strong connection with Rep. Louie Gohmert who, after Wilders’ speech to the event, stood to tell the Dutch visitor about the Muslim prayer service that had been recently held in the National Cathedral in Washington. Gohmert asserted that the service was purposefully timed by “these terrorists” to mark the hundredth anniversary of a fatwa issued by the Ottoman caliph in the early days of World War I.
“Yesterday, for the first time, Friday Muslim prayers were conducted in the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.,” Gohmert said. “And what the Episcopal Church didn’t realize and what you know better than most anyone, anniversaries are a big deal to these terrorists and it’s the hundredth — I’d like to say it’s the thousandth, but it was the hundredth anniversary —November 14, 1914, when the last caliph of the Ottoman Empire, the last one, issued a fatwa that started the murder spree that began with young girls being raped and then crucified. So anyway, we see what’s happening here, but hardly a peep about yesterday.”
Wilders responded by asking the audience to stand and applaud Gohmert and Rep. Michele Bachmann for having “the guts to talk about the issue.”
The exchange came after a speech in which Wilders gave his standard calls for Western countries to “stop all immigration from Islamic countries,” ban the building of mosques and “close down all Islamic schools.”
“Islam is evil,” he told the enthusiastic crowd. “We must shout this out so loud that even President Obama and all the other cowards in politics all over the West will hear it.”
Speaking on a panel about “Obama’s assault on the military” at David Horowitz’s Restoration Weekend last month, Family Research Council executive vice president Jerry Boykin lamented that “people are not paying enough attention” to “the destruction of our military” under President Obama, adding, “thank God for ISIS” for bringing attention to it.
“I’m concerned about the fact the fact that our military will not be capable of meeting the threats of the future and America is not focused on it,” he said,“and thank God for ISIS, because if it wasn’t for ISIS, there would have been no focus, no attention.”
He went on to deride the decision to send U.S. troops to help build Ebola treatment centers in West Africa, saying, “I don’t know what glue our president has been sniffing, but if you really want to protect America, close that southern border and stop the terrorists from coming across.”
Later in the discussion, Boykin said that the “anti-Semitic” Obama is blinded to the fact that “we are going to be in the Middle East forever.”
“The idea that this president has not been anti-Semitic is absolute nonsense,” he said, lamenting that “when I discuss this with my Jewish friends, they act like I’m an idiot.”
Insisting that “not a single child, young child, ever comes across unaccompanied” because many came with the help of smugglers, the Texas Republican said that the fact that some of the children were brought to the border by people affiliated with gangs shows that they were not actually fleeing gang violence.
Gohmert quoted the border patrolman, who he said told the children: “Now you may find some gringo who buys that stuff, but you and I know you paid a gang to bring you into this country, so don’t tell me you came to escape gang violence!”
Gohmert has previously claimed that the Central American children where lying about gang violence.
In the same panel discussion, Rep. John Fleming of Louisiana claimed that unlike “the way it worked traditionally in America,” today’s immigrants “come from countries where they look to the government, that’s their tradition is that the government takes care of them.”
“Now when it destroys their civilization, when it destroys their economy, they look for another place to go. And where do they come? They come here. And then what you see is a progressive lower standard of living.”
“Many of them now when they come they refuse to learn our culture, they refuse to learn our language, they refuse to build the skills necessary to be successful in America,” he added.
FrontPageMag editor and increasingly unhinged anti-Obama yeller David Horowitz is hosting his annual “Restoration Weekend” for anti-Muslim activists at a beach resort in Florida this month. This year, Horowitz has recruited an impressive slate of Republican politicians, including Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, Oklahoma Rep. Jim Bridenstine to partake in the event’s offerings of golf, spa treatments, and Muslim-bashing.
Conservative pundits Ann Coulter, Michael Reagan and Ben Shapiro will also be at the event, according to its website, along with FreedomWorks CEO Matt Kibbe, Heritage Foundation economics chief Stephen Moore and Wall Street Journal editorial board member Kimberly Strassel.
Horowitz organizes and funds the annual Restoration Weekend through his David Horowitz Freedom Center — attendees pay between $1,750 and $20,000, but the group’s most recent available tax return shows the 2012 event didn’t even break even. At past events, Horowitz has attracted GOP luminaries including Sen. Ted Cruz, former Sen. Jim DeMint, Rep. Steve King and Rep. Michele Bachmann. All apparently undeterred by their host’s record of anti-Muslim extremism, including accusing former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin and Republican anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist (whose wife is Muslim) of being secret Muslim Brotherhood agents.
In just the past year, Horowitz’s commentary has moved even further to the fringe. As the Justice Department launched an investigation of the shooting of an unarmed black teen in Ferguson, Missouri, this summer, Horowitz accused Attorney General Eric Holder of leading a black “lynch mob.” A day earlier, Horowitz said he was “sure” President Obama was secretly a Muslim because “he’s a pretend Christian in the same way he’s a pretend American.”
Discussing the protests in Ferguson, Missouri, on Phyllis Schlafly’s “Eagle Forum Live” radio program this week, conservative commentator David Horowitz argued that liberals are overly eager to brand conservatives as racist and, in doing so, have wrongfully maligned the police officer accused of shooting unarmed black teenager Michael Brown.
“[Protesters] destroyed a city to get a cop who was defending himself. Look at the picture of him in the hospital with his eye socket practically blown out,” he said of Officer Darren Wilson, in reference to a bogus photograph that is confirmed to be of a completely unrelated person.
Insisting that Brown was “just a thug” who suffered the consequences of his actions, Horowitz complained that white people have been vilified in matters of law enforcement and criminal justice. “They’re not interested in waiting for a trial and its result. If you’re white, you’re guilty; that’s the attitude,” he said of the Ferguson protesters. “They’re racist, for crying out tears. There’s no community that’s more racist in America than the black community. And everybody knows it, but nobody will say it.”
Catholic leaders have now exorcised the Oklahoma City Civic Center Music Hall following the recent performance of a satanic "black mass."
If reelected to the Senate this year, Lindsey Graham says he'll start exploring a bid to run for president in 2016.

Finally, David Horowitz has a warning: "The terrorists are going to walk across [the border] and start blowing people up. And I think that's going to happen sooner rather than later. And every American that dies in those terrorist attacks, Democrats are responsible."
Holder’s commitment to redressing racial injustice was no more warmly received by the Right than his work in support of LGBT equality. After Holder spoke out against voter ID laws, which disproportionately harm people of color, Texas Gov. Rick Perry accused him of “purposefully” “incit[ing] racial tension.” Gun Owners of America director Larry Pratt argued that Holder’s open discussion of racial discrimination in the criminal justice system means that he is the real “racist,” asserting last year that Holder wants to “intimidate the rest of the country so that we don’t think about defending ourselves” against “attacks by black mobs on white individuals.” Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association went so far as to say that Holder would never “prosecute someone if the victim is white.” And after Holder visited Ferguson, Missouri last month, David Horowitz outrageously commented that the attorney general was leading a black “lynch mob.”
And those are just a handful of the attacks the Right has leveled against Holder for his work protecting equality under the law.
The fact that the far Right has reacted with so much vitriol to the attorney general’s leadership is a sign not only of how uninterested they are in the civil rights that the Justice Department is meant to protect, but also of how effective Holder’s work has been. The next attorney general should share Holder’s deep commitment to protecting the rights of all Americans – and, by extension, make all the “right” enemies among those hoping to turn back the clock on civil liberties.
