Sandy Rios says that CAIR's placement of the American Family Association on an "Islamophobia" list amounts to a "declaration of jihad."
Finally, David Kupelian laments the first anniversy of the Supreme Court's marriage equality ruling: "But consider that just a few short years ago, the idea of two men, or two women, marrying each other was regarded universally as not merely bizarre, but insane. Every culture, every nation, every religion in the world, and throughout every era of history, understood that two men marrying each other was off-the-charts weird – and wrong."
On Monday, David Kupelian of WorldNetDaily joined host Perry Atkinson on TheDove TV's "Focus Today" program to discuss what they claim is liberals’ rejection of the Bible’s teachings. During the interview, Kupelian claimed that colleges are “teaching rape,” which he blamed on "sex week."
“We kind of say, oh, this, isn’t it crazy what they do on college campuses and they complain about the rape culture,” Kupelian said. “They’re teaching rape on college campuses. They have sex week, which was dreamed up at Yale, and it’s on all of these Ivy League colleges where, for a week, it’s center stage on campus, teaching children how to have sex with everything that moves.”
Kupelian continued, “And I don’t mean to be crude, but I’m saying when you’re teaching children this, okay, you are really messing with their minds, okay, but also, you are violating and you’re teaching people to violate the Ten Commandments. And, in turn, that makes it very difficult to have a strong, loyal family unit because you’ve already had a hundred sex partners and it continues after you’re married…” He blamed such sexual promiscuity for divorces and remarriages.
Kupelian also criticized Facebook’s gender options and claimed that these genders “didn’t exist” when he and Atkinson were kids.
Some kind words from BarbWire: "Matt Barber should be happy that Right Wing Watch is condemning him and 'Hating Jesus: The American Left’s War on Christianity.' He should wear the hatred as a badge of honor ... That’s why Right Wing Watch, an evil organization, published its diatribe against him ... It’s a waste of time to engage with RWW or refute what it published because there is no point in engaging with evil."
Joseph Farah says "the very idea that it is somehow 'healthy' to exhibit any kind of pride in sinful behavior is a delusional, turning biblical truth on its head. And yet that is the queer view of pride."
David Kupelian warns that if Hillary Clinton becomes president "powerful forces of rage, revulsion and revenge will be unleashed in American society, and a level of pathology and madness we have never before witnessed will arise" and it will be all her fault.
Mike Huckabee and Pat Boone predict that the Bible "may one day be labeled a hate book."
Finally, Scott Lively continues his crusade to reclaim the rainbow: "Today, in the cynical, opportunistic style of LGBT activists everywhere, the world’s most powerful nation has asked all the other nations of the world to join in its blasphemy of God by flying the rainbow flag in memory of the 'gay on gay' slaughter at the homosexual Pulse nightclub in Orlando. It is the responsibility of Christians (and Torah-believing Jews) everywhere to speak out against this defilement of God’s rainbow, and to demand that the LGBT movement cease and desist cloaking itself in His flag."
The Oath Keepers, a far-right militia group, is always on the lookout for the coming civil war, which its founder, Stewart Rhodes, believes may soon arrive with armed patriots on one side and liberals, anarchists, gang members and radical Islamists on the other.
On its website, the group posted a message from Brandon Smith, who predicted that the election of Hillary Clinton would trigger an “outright civil war” while a Trump victory would signal a possible left-wing uprising:
I have said it before and I’ll say it again, if Hillary Clinton is chosen by the establishment to take Obama’s place, the result would probably be outright civil war in the U.S. The level of hatred among conservatives for that woman is so stratospheric I cannot see any other outcome. It might not happen immediately, but a solid bet would be conflagration within her first term.
With a Trump win, I could also see at the very least nationwide riots similar in tone to those that occurred in Ferguson, Missouri, with the social justice cultists running wild with their goofy slogans and molotov cocktails. These people are a paper tiger however, and are only a threat if they manage to convince a majority of the ethnic American population to follow their lead.
Well, David Kupelian of WorldNetDaily knows who to blame for that: liberals.
According to Kupelian, “the left is such a toxic influence, it is driving people crazy,” literally.
He told radio host Rick Green that the “insane,” “mad” and “hard, atheistic left that has taken over most of our institutions” has pushed patriotic Americans “completely over the edge”: “I’m talking about into drug addiction, into every type of addiction, food addiction, pornography, all the rest of it; into suicide, mental illness, depression.”
1)Putting Harriet Tubman On The $20 Bill Will Lead To Slavery
Leave it to InfoWars to come up with the most fearful reaction to the decision to put Harriet Tubman on the front of the $20 bill and move Andrew Jackson to the back. The conspiracy theorist network posted this column by Mac Slavo arguing that the move will inevitably lead to the “enslavement” of the masses:
Jackson narrowly succeeded in staving off banker domination of the U.S. during his day.
Of course, Andrew Jackson, who was the United States’ seventh president, was also a complete controversy his entire lifetime. It is no surprise that the same people who took down the Confederate flag from the South on the back of a mass shooting tragedy are now trying to tear down the image of a particularly controversial and intriguing figure from the American past.
Erasing Andrew Jackson from the faces of the fiat funny-money that is passed around by an increasingly ignorant and dependent society (which itself has adopted digital currency as the new norm) will further cut off the past from the masses, and ensure their enslavement.
WorldNetDaily's David Kupelian was the guest on yesterday's "WallBuilders Live" radio program, where he was promoting his book "The Snapping Of The American Mind," in which he asserts that the policies of "the left" are literally driving Americans insane.
"The hard, atheistic left that has taken over most of our institutions," Kupelian stated, "they are mad, as in insane ... Not only is the left mad, they are driving the rest of America — I'm talking the good decent Christian patriotic Americans — driving them completely over the edge."
Millions of good decent Christian patriotic Americans are being driven into addiction, depression, mental illness and suicide, Kupelian asserted, by "the craziness of the left."
"We are children of God. We are created with a conscience, there is good and evil and they're both trying to recruit us," he said, "and the left is such a toxic influence, it is driving people crazy ... Where we were once a Judeo-Christian nation, we are being seduced, pushed, intimidated into being such a conflicted, angry, unhappy confusing culture because the left doesn't make sense. It's rebelling against God, rebelling against the Ten Commandments, against common sense, against the principles of the lessons of history, the laws of economics; they put all that aside in favor of their basically rebellious utopian system and it is driving good people crazy."
Kupelian’s book, which has won plaudits from conservative activists including Phyllis Schlafly, Matt Barber, David Barton, Dinesh D’Souza and former Rep. Michele Bachmann, argues that the “progressive Left” is “whether intentionally or not, promoting widespread dependency, debauchery, family breakdown, crime, corruption, addiction, despair, and suicide.”
Kupelian told Pratt that examples of “completely insane” progressive advances include “the sexual revolution and the LGBT movement,” including the choice of 50 genders on Facebook, “forcing teenage girls to have to shower with boys,” and marriage equality.
“These are things that most people, and a few years ago everybody, would have said is not only wrong but is completely insane, okay?” he said. “A few years ago, we would have said two men getting married is completely insane. Everybody in the world of all religions, left, right, center, everybody would have said you’re completely insane.”
“The case that I’m making in ‘The Snapping of the American Mind,’” he explained, “is that you know how we hear about all the suicides going on now, we hear about the huge upsurge among white, middle-class people living in the suburbs, we hear about the huge amount, one in four middle-aged women are taking antidepressants, we have all this individual pathology, all this wretchedness, all the suffering of the addiction and the 110 million people with sexually transmitted diseases. 110 million! All of these things, I’m saying that the left is the primary cause of all of this depression, anxiety, the huge amount of mental illness, of addiction, of suicide, all of these things that we hear about in a way that we sometimes hear about them in the news, but disconnect them from the source.
Other topics covered in Kupelian’s book, according to WND, include:
How the Left has succeeded in redefining not just “marriage,” but the rest of Americans’ core values, from “equality” to “justice” to “freedom”;
Why America, unquestionably the least racist nation on earth, is now being portrayed as a deeply racist pariah state;
Why the United States is intentionally being flooded with millions of needy, dependent, Third World immigrants;
How a group that amputates healthy body parts and has a 41 percent attempted suicide rate is officially declared “normal,” yet new “research” suggests conservatives have malformed brains;
Which of the two major US political parties has a far higher incidence of mental illness;
Why Americans today are more stressed-out, confused, conflicted, and addicted than at any time in the nation’s history—and where this ominous trend is leading.
David Kupelian, managing editor of the right-wing conspiracy theory website WND, appeared on TheDove TV's "Focus Today" program earlier this week to promote his latest book, "The Snapping Of The American Mind," which asserts that the left is "promoting widespread dependency, debauchery, family breakdown, crime, corruption, addiction, despair, and suicide" with its "wild celebration of sexual anarchy, its intimidating culture of political correctness, and its incomprehension of the fundamental sacredness of human life."
Unsurprisingly, Kupelian made exactly that case on the program, insisting that left-wing policies are so dangerously insane that they are literally driving Americans into drug addiction and suicide.
"You cannot teach, as the left does, the next generation that there is no God," he stated, "that there are no values, there's not right and wrong, that you can have sex with anything that moves, there's no morality, that America is a horrible country and on and on. You can't do that to people without incurring these consequences."
"The amount of suicide and depression and drug addiction which we hear about all the time now," Kupelian continued, "as being rooted in the hooking-up culture, by they way they punish and police speech on college campuses, specifically tied to the practices of the left, are driving people over the edge."
On Friday’s edition of “Trunews,” WorldNetDaily managing editor David Kupelian told host Rick Wiles that liberals are on the brink of throwing conservatives in jail for allegedly being insane, when it is actually liberals who “are the sick ones” driving everybody insane.
Kupelian, who was promoting his book “The Snapping of the American Mind,” said that “the social sciences are run by the left” and these liberal leaders will soon say that conservatives are “crazy” and therefore “can’t own guns,” when it is in fact liberals who are have increased rates of mental illness brought on by “crazy leftist colleges,” the sexual revolution and abortion rights, citing discredited claims that abortion contributes to mental health issues in women.
“Utopia is what we had before they came along,” he said of liberals. “America was the most wonderful, wealthy, there was more happiness per capita and more opportunity in America than any nation in history, they want to take that and fundamentally transform it. Those guys are the sick ones.”
Wiles had his own thoughts on the matter: “I believe, David, the reason they’re going insane is that God has turned them over to a reprobate mind.”
“I believe that too,” Kupelian said, before saying that he really just wants to bring Americans together.
WorldNetDaily managing editor David Kupelian argued this weekend that the negative reactions to Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend on TV actually came from God.
“If you take a 5-year-old who looks at that and he says, ‘Ick, that’s gross,’ that is something of God, of innocence, goodness and wholesomeness in that child who sees something yucky,” he told “Mission America” host Linda Harvey.
He alleged that the “gay agenda” wants to “confuse” children, thereby “destroying that child’s mind and soul for life.”
Even though Kupelian’s boss, WorldNetDaily founder and editor Joseph Farah, wants to recriminalize homosexuality, Kupelian said conservatives like him “could care less if the people down the street from me are gay.”
After publishing an interview with Alan Keyes that tried to absolve Bundy of racism, WND editor Joseph Farah said that the New York Times must have deliberately misquoted Bundy, calling him an “entrapment target” and victim of a “sting operation.”
This was a sting operation by the New York Times. The entrapment target wasn’t so much Bundy, but anyone in public life who denounced the Bureau of Land Management’s Gestapo-like tactics in dealing with him.
Cliven Bundy won’t be so fortunate after been stung by the New York Times.
But it won’t change Bundy’s life much. It wasn’t intended to. It was intended to isolate those in public life who stood up to the obvious brutishness and injustice perpetrated on Bundy by the federal authorities and public officials who targeted him.
Another WND story found that Bundy couldn’t be racist because he is planning to invite Latinos and African Americans to a party:
“Friday night we are actually planning a party and specifically inviting blacks and Latinos,” said [Shawna] Cox. “We started planning this party way before these comments were made.”
Cox told WND that after last Friday’s party, Bundy began asking why it was that not many blacks or Latinos were present. So the controversial rancher met with some of the minorities in the community on Monday or Tuesday, she said, to reach out to them and invite them to today’s party.
WND managing editor David Kupelian attacked Harry Reid for calling on Republicans to “show a united front against this kind of hateful, dangerous extremism by publicly condemning Bundy.”
Kupelian accused Reid of employing Communist Party tactics by using the phrase “unite front,” warning that the Senate Majority Leader wants “to provoke a war with some rightwing ‘domestic terrorists.’”
“National Republican leaders could help show a united front against this kind of hateful, dangerous extremism by publicly condemning Bundy.”
“United front.” Where have I heard that term before?
Oh yes, it’s leftwing code, which even Wikipedia accurately deciphers:
The united front is a form of struggle or political organization that may be carried out by revolutionaries or communist political regimes. The basic theory of the united front tactic was first developed by the Comintern, an international communist organization created by communists in the wake of the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution.
According to the thesis of the 1922 4th World Congress of the Comintern: “The united front tactic is simply an initiative whereby the Communists propose to join with all workers belonging to other parties and groups and all unaligned workers in a common struggle to defend the immediate, basic interests of the working class against the bourgeoisie.”
The united front allowed workers committed to the revolutionary overthrow of capitalism to struggle alongside non-revolutionary workers. Through these common struggles revolutionaries sought to win other workers to revolutionary socialism.
OK Harry, we get the message. It’s important for even the hated Republicans, whom you revile daily, to join in your “united front” against the rancher in your state who is disputing his grazing fees on constitutional grounds. Ever hear of civil disobedience? It’s how the Civil Rights Movement of the ‘60s was won.
You, Sen. Reid, have been a major player in harming the nation that has so graciously given you wealth, power, fame and comfort – particularly through your role in dismantling the world’s best healthcare system – but now, with our nation and world aflame, old Clive Bundy is the one with whom you are most obsessed.
Could it be that, deep down in their conniving, progressive brains, leftists like Reid kind of want to provoke a war with some rightwing “domestic terrorists”?
I hope – I pray – restraint will win out, and the situation resolve peacefully, and with finality.
WorldNetDaily managing editor David Kupelian yesterday urged Republicans to impeach and remove President Obama from office if they take control of the Senate and keep the House in the upcoming election.
Kupelian added that if Republicans don’t move to remove the president, then they should at least block all of Obama’s policies.
Speaking yesterday with American Family Association head Tim Wildmon — who has also called for Obama’simpeachment — Kupelian said that “we need to remove this guy or to stop what he’s doing as soon as possible. The next opportunity is in November and we’ll see what the Republicans and the Christians and the conservatives can do then.”
The best case scenario: If the Republicans were to A) take back the Senate and maintain the House, and B) really develop some real background and guts -- I’m not saying this will happen, I’m saying it is possible -- they could actually go so far as impeaching the president and removing him from office. This has happened before, this is America, it’s in the Constitution, it is legal and moral to do so. Or at the very least they could defund Obamacare, there are various things that they could do.
The media would attack them and say, ‘You are destroying the country,’ they can and will do that. They would simply have the courage to say, ‘You know what, the media, a branch of the mainstream media so-called, have become a wing of the Democrat Party [sic], they’re cheerleading section, we’re just going to have to weather all the unpopularity and do what’s right.’
Now if they don’t win that election, it’s just going to continue on for the next three years and the Obama people will do the best they can, with his pen and his phone, to bypass Congress and continue to so tie up and tangle up things that when he leaves office in 2017 that it will be too difficult to ever untangle, that’s part of what he’s doing, just tying things up. Putting judges into office when Harry Reid got rid of the filibuster, what was that for? It was so that they could get hard left, progressive judges into office so that when there are inevitable legal challenges over what Obama has done, these judges will back him up. It’s pretty sad. We need to remove this guy or to stop what he’s doing as soon as possible. The next opportunity is in November and we’ll see what the Republicans and the Christians and the conservatives can do then.
WorldNetDaily editor David Kupelian believes that President Obama is going to engineer several “manufactured crises” -- including the collapse of the private health care system -- manipulate the science behind climate change and maybe even fake an assassination attempt, in order to expand his political power and create a “socialist state.”
In a column today, Kupelian bizarrely reasons that if the country were stable and prosperous, then “Obama and his agenda would be seen for what they really are, and he would be swiftly and surely impeached by the House of Representatives, convicted by the Senate and removed from office.”
He writes that Obama is waging a “spiritual war” on Americans that involves “breaking us, body, mind and spirit,” and claims that Obama is responsible for that fact that “America is becoming increasingly angry, confused, depressed, sick, conflicted, addicted, suicidal, faithless and hopeless.”
Therefore, the president must create crises in order to hold onto authority and even create a one-world government, including possibly even faking an assassination plot that would “justify and even necessitate Obama’s violations of Americans’ core liberties – gun control and confiscation, censorship of conservative news and talk radio as ‘hate speech,’ the growing police state, advanced surveillance state and so on.”
Consider what would happen if, magically, there were no major societal crises in America today, and if most citizens – as has been the case in some earlier eras – were content, family-oriented, free and grateful for the blessings of living in this uniquely blessed country. Obama and his agenda would be seen for what they really are, and he would be swiftly and surely impeached by the House of Representatives, convicted by the Senate and removed from office.
But to rule like a dictator from his White House inner sanctum, and to succeed in moving the progressive agenda continually forward, one more thing is necessary: Obama needs crises. Otherwise, the spell of deception tends to break and too many people wake up and complain … and vote.
Therefore, 2014 could be called “the year of manufactured crises.”
Obama and his team may push to resolve the insurance crisis they have strategically created by “transitioning” America into “single payer” – a bloodless euphemism for full-bore socialism, where the federal government literally controls everyone’s health care and, therefore, their very lives. Good-bye freedom.
To accomplish this, Team Obama would need to: 1) destroy America’s private insurance industry, which it is currently attempting, 2) declare the hybrid Obamacare system (a cross between free-market and socialized medicine) a failure due to Republican sabotage and insurance companies’ greed and intransigence and 3) decree that, with no way back to a functional private insurance sector, and with Americans in total crisis regarding health care, the only sensible solution is for America to “join the rest of the civilized world, including Britain, Canada and Europe, and make health care a universal right and part of the government’s compact with her people.”
Remember, “single-payer” is what Obama and Democrat leaders have long claimed – publicly – as their real goal.
However, you can’t get there from here without constantly creating crises as springboards. In this case, Obamacare, which was packaged and gift-wrapped as the solution to the flaws in America’s health-care system, is actually a crisis-causing “transition” stage between free-market health care and a socialist state.
But for Obama, obsessing over “climate change” (ironically, meeting with his new global warming task force while a snowstorm shut down the federal government) is more than just a way of changing the subject and diverting attention from Obamacare. Global warming is, itself, another huge manufactured crisis, its real purpose being massive worldwide wealth distribution under the United Nations.
Christopher Monckton, who advised the late British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on issues including global warming, says “the sole purpose of the climate scam, as the U.N. [sees] it, [is] to serve as a Trojan horse allowing it to achieve its long-held ambition of destroying national sovereignty and transferring all real political power to itself.”
“If America stands firm for just a few more years,” he added, “until it becomes obvious to all that the mad scientists were more concerned with grants than with truth, we may yet prevent the world government that Mr. Ban [Ki-moon, U.N. secretary-general] longs for.”
Remember this: Obama and his team want you to be frustrated and resentful. They will wear you out and steal your strength that way. Think about it.
Look at today’s health statistics: America is becoming increasingly angry, confused, depressed, sick, conflicted, addicted, suicidal, faithless and hopeless. The kind of stress and pressure the Obama left intentionally inflicts on the rest of America is designed to “transform” us, yes, but by first breaking us, body, mind and spirit.
Friends, this is a spiritual war, and goes way beyond matters of law, politics and policy. That’s why constant crisis is literally the fabric – the warp and weft – of Barack Obama’s “transformational” presidency.
A final warning: There is one perfect crisis for Obama and the entire progressive left, one event that would serve as the ultimate validation of all their delusions, fantasies and projections, something that would validate every prejudice, lie, unworkable idea and failed policy they espouse.
The one event that would be Barack Obama’s grand-slam homerun would be if, in response to the ever-increasing outrages and provocations of the left, someone on “the right” becomes unhinged and goes violent in a big way.
That terrible event would constitute the perfect answer to all Obama’s problems, the fulfillment of the left’s fondest dreams. Haven’t you wondered why the liberal media are always painting the tea party as racist without a shred of evidence, and are always hoping out loud that every new terror act or school shooting was perpetrated by a conservative? Didn’t you see how the media fell over one another trying to portray – ridiculously and incorrectly – the Boston Marathon-bombing Tsarnaev brothers as right-wingers, and how ABC News reported – ridiculously and incorrectly – that the Aurora, Colo., movie theater mass shooter might be a tea-party member, and how the Department of Homeland Security painted pro-lifers, constitutionalists, libertarians, NRA members and returning war veterans as potential “right-wing extremists” and terrorists?
Why do they do this? Because, in their imaginations at least, violence on the right would validate their narrative. Worse, it would finally seem to justify and even necessitate Obama’s violations of Americans’ core liberties – gun control and confiscation, censorship of conservative news and talk radio as “hate speech,” the growing police state, advanced surveillance state and so on. All would be seen as necessary restraints against all those conservative terrorists out there.
Of course, in the turmoil (and secret left-wing revelry) over a major “right-wing terror attack,” forgotten and irrelevant would be the fact that you – and tens of millions like you – are being forced to obtain new and much more expensive health-care insurance. After all, we’re under attack by right-wing extremists! It’s the perfect crisis.
WorldNetDaily’s David Kupelian is out with a new column attacking LGBT rights advocates, saying that supporting gay and transgender people is no different than making excuses for suicide bombers:
Consider for a moment how children in the Arab-Muslim Middle East develop the “mental illness” of wannabe jihad martyrdom. How exactly do innocent little kids come to be possessed by such overwhelmingly powerful emotions and beliefs that they’re willing to blow themselves up while murdering innocent strangers – and thinking such a despicable crime is the will of God?
If I suggested genetics or biochemical imbalances were responsible, you would laugh. Little jihadists are created when, from an early age, they are continually indoctrinated, intimidated, degraded, rewarded, tempted, lied to, punished, threatened and praised (for reinforcement) – until their little developing minds and emotions are not their own anymore. They have a new implanted identity, very different from the one they were born with.
So, if the forces in one child’s home can transform him so totally that, when he looks in a mirror, he sees someone who feels like killing infidels and himself in a glorious “martyrdom operation,” couldn’t the forces in another child’s home (perhaps much more subtle, but nevertheless powerful) transform him or her into a person with feelings and attractions he likewise was not born with – including homosexual or transgender feelings? Many lesbians, as a matter of fact, confess they hated their cruel or abusive father and therefore couldn’t bond to a man later in life. Why is this so hard to understand?
Kupelian writes that transgender people are just like people who suffer from anorexia nervosa and derides LGBT advocacy groups that seek to take away the stigma from “abnormal and unnatural” transgender people, which he argues will exacerbate the high rates of suicide ideation in the transgender community:
The human mind is an amazing thing. Just like computers, they’re awesome when they work properly, but supremely vexing when they don’t.
Yet there it is: Whether it’s the anorexic or transgender individual staring intently into the mirror and seeing the exact opposite of reality, or countless other people in similar straits tormented from within, our minds are – to put it inelegantly – capable of lying to us.
Reality check: Transgenderism (or transsexualism) is not normal. In fact, it’s so abnormal and unnatural that a staggeringly tragic 41 percent of all transgender individuals living in the United States have attempted to commit suicide, according to a 2010 study.
Yet, while the psychiatric profession diagnoses millions of fidgety schoolboys with the “mental disorder” of ADHD (and then “treats” them with powerful and poorly understood drugs), it is simultaneously re-categorizing an undeniably extreme disorder as normal.
What would we think if the “anorexia rights lobby” (if such a thing existed) pushed relentlessly to de-pathologize anexoria, proclaiming it perfectly normal for some girls, though in danger of dying from starvation, to go on starving themselves so as to satisfy their inner feeling that they were fat?
He then warns that the LGBT rights movement is bent on “totalitarianism” and, much like Voldemort, is “feared by everyone.” “There is no end to the madness, because the madness has no end—it’s a black hole with no bottom.”
Today, the “gay rights movement” has metastasized into a burgeoning form of totalitarianism. Legislation is sweeping the country, outlawing counseling help for minors who want to overcome unwanted same-sex attractions; decreeing (in California and elsewhere) that boys and young men must be allowed to use girls’ restrooms and locker rooms if they identify with the opposite sex (and vice versa); mandating pro-homosexual indoctrination of 5-year-olds; requiring the integration of open homosexuals into the military; forcing same-sex marriage on the nation; criminalizing Christian businesspeople for simply opposing homosexuality on moral and religious grounds; and much more. It’s just beginning.
We need to understand something about this new sexual revolution: There is no end to it. Many thought it would end with same-sex marriage, seemingly the crowning achievement of the gay rights juggernaut. But suddenly, it seems, everything is now about “transgender rights.” There’s a new prime-time TV show coming that will portray a transgender teen as the most sensible member of his family. Vice President Joe Biden calls transgender discrimination “the civil rights issue of our time.”
There is no end to the madness, because madness has no end – it’s a black hole with no bottom.
Most ironic and unfortunate of all, this particular issue – this revolutionary sexual anarchy movement, which more than any other ideology, including Marxism, Islam or atheism, has the potential of permanently corrupting our nation’s core “operating system” called the family – is the one issue that almost everybody is afraid to confront.
Like Voldemort, the arch-villain so feared by everyone in the “Harry Potter” stories that they “dare not speak his name,” almost no one – not Democrats, not Republicans, not churches, not the media (including Fox News), not talk radio (unless explicitly Christian conservative), not even the big alternative news websites, with the exception of WND – dares speak of it.
But be warned, intimidation is the No. 1 tool of would-be tyrants. Not only can it make us shut up from fear, it can – without our realizing it – cause us to change our own beliefs and side with the adversary, and we will never know what hit us. Until it’s too late.
The Religious Right continues to pushback against the Boy Scouts of America’s decision to reconsider their sweeping ban on gay members, many resorting to unfounded claims that homosexuality is tied to child abuse.
Talk show host Janet Mefferd pointed to a major sex scandal and cover-up in the BSA as a reason to maintain the prohibition on gay membership, and then agreed with a caller who compared letting gays serve as troop leaders to “letting the fox watch the hen house.”
Later, Mefferd attacked LGBT rights advocates for “trying to silence and trying to shame” supporters of the anti-gay policy and said that any shift in position will “decimate the Boy Scouts.”
WorldNetDaily’s David Kupelian wrote that “a little bit of America will die” if the Boy Scouts rescind their sweeping ban on gay members, and warned that the Scouts will lose the trust of the public and God. He also pointed to the Catholic Church as an example of how open homosexuality leads to sexual abuse, which is an odd choice seeing that the church, like the BSA, already has a prohibition gays in positions of authority.
Now the big question in all this, of course, is the following: With these sex-abuse cases within the Boy Scouting organization, just as those within the Catholic Church, are we dealing with actual “pedophiles” or with predatory homosexuals?
America is in a time of great crisis on many fronts, and much that is good we are in danger of permanently losing. The Boy Scouts of America is one of the most important and loved and truly valuable organizations in American history. It is literally a sacred trust between one generation and the next. The Supreme Court is on their side. Public opinion is on their side. God is on their side.
Why on earth would they trade all this away by giving in to pressure from people who detest them and everything they stand for?
A little bit of America will die if the Boy Scouts organization gives in to the pressure and makes this decision. You might want to let them know how you feel. You can reach the Boy Scouts of America at 972-580-2000. Tell them how much you appreciate them – and tell them to stand strong.
Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality accused the Boy Scouts of “capitulating to immorality” and promoting “deviant sexuality among the boys.”
"If you take all that and you still come out strong, that's a victory," he says. "But if you allow all of that pressure to then change your values -- which is what they're doing here -- to accommodate homosexuality, then you've given in. You've let the bad buys win."
"It's very sad to see the Scouts cave on this," he continues. "If you capitulate to the homosexual lobby, you're capitulating to immorality; and you're not being morally straight as the Boy Scout creed says."
According to LaBarbera, parents do not want homosexual Scoutmasters going with their boys on campouts. "And you don't want homosexual Boy Scouts either because you don't want to have one homosexual Scout going around telling everybody about his homosexuality and how he's out and proud and everything. You don't want that influence of deviant sexuality among the boys itself."
"... Parents need to contact the Scouts and say Stick to the original policy ... Keep the Scouts morally straight."
Southern Baptist Convention vice president Sing Oldham claimed that the Boy Scouts are “spelling their own death knell.” SBC president Fred Luter warned that churches may withdraw their sponsorships of BSA troops:
"If that is what the leadership is doing, then I think it will be a sad day in the life of the Boy Scouts of America," Luter told Baptist Press. "This is a tradition that so many of us across the country grew up in. We were in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in elementary school, and this organization has always stood for biblical principles -- all the things that grounded our lives as a young kid growing up. To now see this organization that I thought stood on biblical principles about to give in to the politically correct thing is very disappointing."
Luter also said he believes the Boy Scouts will "lose a whole lot of our support," with Southern Baptist churches choosing instead not to sponsor a unit.
"A lot of them will just pull out," Luter said. "This is just something we don't believe in. It's unfortunate the Boy Scouts are making this decision."
Oldham even said that the SBC is ready with a replacement for the Boy Scouts, called the Royal Ambassadors:
"Churches of all faiths and denominations, including Southern Baptist churches, will be forced to reevaluate whether they can, in good conscience, continue to host Scout troops given that the Scouts appear poised to turn their backs on this clear biblical and moral issue," Oldham said. "If the Scouts adopt these changes, I anticipate the SBC Executive Committee will issue a statement at its February board meeting expressing its deep dismay at this decision of the Scouts. This move may result in a boost for the convention's Royal Ambassador program as churches scramble for an alternative boys organization that remains grounded in a consistent, biblical worldview."
The American Family Association in an action alert for members asserted that any policy change “will destroy the legitimacy and the security of this iconic institution.”
Next week, the Boy Scouts of America will decide on whether it will keep a long standing policy of not allowing homosexuals to serve as volunteer leaders, or to change that policy and allow open homosexuals to participate in the scouting program. See our story at OneNewsNow.
If the BSA departs from its policies on allowing homosexual scoutmasters and boys in the program, it will destroy the legitimacy and the security of this iconic institution.
While news articles conclude the latter as a forgone conclusion, the final decision has not been made.
Right-wing extremists are utterly petrified as to what will happen if President Obama is reelected for a second term, predicting that the world as we know it will be turned upside down. David Kupelian, the managing editor of WorldNetDaily and author of The Marketing of Evil, foresees that four more years of Obama will trigger civil disobedience and political violence, unleash rampant crime, cause a surge in depression and mental illness, and eventually elicit a “de facto secession.”
He predicts inescapable civil disobedience, prompted by the outrage at abortion rights. This noncompliance could even heighten and transform into political violence, Kupelian says, cautioning that “deep down the radical left would love nothing more than to see an actual eruption of violence on ‘the right,’ because it would serve to validate all their delusions and self-projections of hatred and violence.” Kupelian believes that Obama’s re-election would be comparable to the 9/11 terrorist attacks and even predicts an Obama reelection will lead to a “de facto secession,” in which conservative Americans “will be able to find each other over the Internet—and if they wish, move to a common geographic location.” These people can then exert power over their government, create their own businesses, and eventually separate from the rest of the country.
If working diligently within the system for constitutional government (and that includes peaceful, principled civil disobedience) is the noble response to intolerable injustice, the “dark side” response to the same provocation would be political violence. If Obama in a second term accelerates his relentless assault on the American system, there may be some who conclude all is lost and that their only response is to commit violent acts in the misguided belief they are channeling America’s founding generation – refreshing “the tree of liberty,” as Jefferson said, with “the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
Indeed, truth be told, deep down the radical left would love nothing more than to see an actual eruption of violence on “the right,” because it would serve to validate all their delusions and self-projections of hatred and violence, of which they themselves are guilty but incessantly accuse normal Americans (i.e., “the tea party is racist and dangerous,” etc.).
Speaking of evil, just as a small number of deranged people may be tempted to commit political violence, countless more will simply feel pushed over the edge by another four years of the wretched Obama economy and some will turn to crime.
Likewise, a troubling father figure like Obama – who himself has never matured, but rather is a profoundly broken person and has developed into a ruthless and deceitful Chicago politician with a winsome persona – exerts a malignant “radiant” effect on the American mind and culture. Thus, while ours is already a nation of drug-takers, with approximately one in 10 adults currently taking dangerous anti-depressant drugs, I believe psychiatric drug dependency – and much more to the point, the mental-emotional conditions that lead to their use – will increase under a second Obama term.
Just as the Sept. 11 attacks – expressions of unspeakable evil – brought to the surface great goodness, heroism, sacrifice and mutual cooperation in the service of one another, so would the re-election of Obama.
In other words, people of like mind, who believe in traditional American constitutional values, will be able to find each other over the Internet – and if they wish, move to a common geographic location. They can pick a state – Texas, South Carolina, North Dakota, wherever – and do what the Mormons did in moving en masse to Utah.
The US Embassy in the Czech Republic, as part of the State Department’s new LGBT rights initiative, is supporting a pride festival in Prague “to address discriminatory behavior based on sexual orientation and to promote a tolerant civil society and equal opportunities in the Czech Republic.” AlreadyirateoverSecretaryHillaryClinton’sspeechonLGBTrights, American Religious Right activists joined their European, African and Latin American allies to denounce the Obama administration for “aggressively promoting the ‘gay’ agenda internationally” and leading a campaign of “cultural imperialism” [PDF]:
At the directive of the president of the United States, Washington is aggressively promoting the “gay’’ agenda internationally, including same-sex “marriage” and the stigmatization and marginalization of any who object to the same.
The Obama’s administration’s embrace of “same-sex marriage” has been overwhelmingly rejected by the American people. There have been 32 state referenda on marriage. In every one of them, voters endorsed the natural definition of marriage (a man and a woman). The North Carolina vote, on May 8, was 61% in favor of natural marriage.
It stands to reason, then, that anything which undermines the family – including changing the definition of marriage – is a breach of the State’s responsibility to protect this indispensable institution which precedes government and makes a stable and free society possible.
The Madrid Declaration of World Congress of Families VI (May 25-27, 2012) --which was unanimously adopted by more than 3,200 delegates from 72 countries --provides, in part: “We affirm the natural family to be the union of a man and a woman through marriage for the purposes of sharing love and joy, propagating children, providing their moral education, building a vital home economy, offering security in times of trouble, and binding the generations.”
Regarding “gay rights,” those caught up in this lifestyle have the same rights as other citizens. This does not include the “right” to force others to validate a lifestyle they find objectionable, for religious or other reasons. It also does not include the right of men to marry men and women to marry women.
The foregoing pseudo-rights do not advance human freedom and dignity but debase them.
We can not imagine a worse form of cultural imperialism than Washington trying to force approval of the “gay” agenda on societies with traditional values.
Last week on Truth in Action Ministries’ flagship radio program Truth that Transforms, hosts Carmen Pate and John Rabe hosted David Kupelian, the managing editor of WorldNetDaily and author of The Marketing of Evil to discuss how “worldly distractions destroy the heart and mind.” Pate, a former president of Concerned Women for America, asked Kupelian how “the homosexual rights agenda” try to use people’s emotions to win support for legalizing same-sex marriage, and Kupelian called it part of their strategy of “seduction and intimidation.” Kupelian falsely maintained that “everybody who looks at this legally will admit” that marriage equality for gays and lesbians will lead to polygamy and even allow “five men and a wastebasket” to be married. He added that legalizing same-sex marriage “will literally define marriage out of existence so marriage will not exist anymore.”
Pate: Look at the homosexual rights agenda when they are really pointing to the emotional heartbeat of individual lives. I think of the Rosie O’Donnell tours that they do with the homosexual families where they go on these tours and they point out how normal these families are and you can end up just crying at the end of the story because they’ve really touched your heart, that these are just people like you and I, there’s no difference and we need to make sure that their rights are really celebrated.
Kupelian: The gay rights issue is a perfect forum for explaining two of the biggest ways we are manipulated, and they are seduction and intimidation. The seduction is what you just described, ‘oh these two people just want to be married, how does their love and their being married hurt you’? Your darn right it hurts, if you go and redefine out of existence the prime institution of civilization since the beginning of man—marriage—and everybody who looks at this legally will admit that once you say that two men can be married and two women can be married you have to say that three men can be married or three women can be married or five men and a wastebasket can be married. Once marriage has changed from a man and a woman and it just becomes consenting adults who want to call themselves married, you will literally define marriage out of existence so marriage will not exist anymore.
