Boykin: Obama Creating A 'Marxist Nation'

During an interview this week with the American Family Association’s Fred Jackson, Family Research Council vice president Jerry Boykin reiterated his claim that President Obama is using the military to introduce communism.

Boykin said there is “no question” that the White House is to blame for the supposed “persecution of Christians” in the military, which he said is all part of an effort to create “a society moving to Marxism.”

“This is the Marxist model, if you go back to what Karl Marx said, he said my objective is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism, he also said religion is the opiate of the masses,” Boykin continued, “because we are moving through the socialist agenda to really becoming a Marxist nation, you have to destroy the idea or concept of unalienable rights, which is what we were founded upon, our rights come from God, not from man, not from government.”

AFA: DOMA Decision Will Lead to God's Judgment, Death of Marriage

American Family Association spokesmen Fred Jackson and Sandy Rios were despondent while reacting to the Supreme Court’s decision striking down the Defense of Marriage Act. “It’s a big win for gay activists today,” Rios said, “it’s not a good day for us.”

“They kept shouting DOMA's dead, I thought that was pretty metaphorical, marriage is dead too, for the future of this country,” she added.

Jackson went even further and alleged that “God’s judgment will be upon us” as a result of the ruling.

AFA: Boy Scouts In 'Open Rebellion Against God'

Fred Jackson and Dan Celia of the American Family Association discussed the Boy Scouts of America’s vote to end the ban on openly gay members under the age of 18 this morning on Financial Issues, which Jackson called an “open rebellion against God.” The two expressed shock and disappointment as Jackson noted that over 60 percent of delegates backed the change in policy, and Celia predicted that this will bring “the fall of the nation.”

Bryan Fischer Explodes: 'Not One Loving Father' Should Entrust Son to the Boy Scouts if Gays Are Included

Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association said that a change in the Boy Scouts’ ban on gay members would be a “suicide mission” and lead to pedophilia. While speaking to AFA news director Fred Jackson yesterday on Focal Point, Fischer said that gay men are “ten times” more likely than heterosexuals to molest children, and it would be “insanity” to have them “bunking down with your kid at jamboree.”

“To me it’s just suicidal, they are finished, they are done,” Fischer told Jackson, “There is not one loving father in America that ever, ever, ever ought to entrust his son to the Boy Scouts of America.”

Sandy Rios: Gay Marriage brings about the 'Rape of Our Children's Innocence'

Sandy Rios of the American Family Association mourned the defeat of anti-gay ballot measures and candidates for office during her organization’s election coverage, and was dumbfounded as to why actor Brad Pitt donated to the marriage equality campaigns in four states. She asked: “What causes a person of such means to be so passionate about that, who is a heterosexual man with children? What is that all about?” As AFA news director Fred Jackson noted, Pitt “didn’t listen to his mom.”

Rios: Last week in the midst of the hurricane and the devastation and people clamoring for food and help, Brad Pitt made this huge donation to gay marriage. I think, what drives that? I think he gave $100,000, $25,000 to each state to fund homosexual marriage. What causes a person of such means to be so passionate about that, who is a heterosexual man with children? What is that all about?

Jackson: That is the case; he didn’t listen to his mom.

Rios: That’s for sure.

Later, Rios and AFA spokesman Bryan Fischer were stunned by Allen West’s loss in Florida, which for Fischer proves that Americans are making “alarming choices about who their leaders are going to be.” Rios lamented that voters have clearly become solidly in favor of abortion rights and gay equality, saying that voters “want abortion, they are demanding it,” and are also “clamoring for gay marriage.” She went on to argue that marriage equality will lead to “explicit instruction in public schools” and the “rape of our children’s innocence.”

Fischer: Allen West apparently has gone down to defeat in Florida.

Rios: Tremendous loss, tremendous loss.

Fischer: He was a guy that represented the best of America, his military service, his staunch conservatism on all facets, so the fact that the voters in Florida chose not to renew their confidence, their trust, their contract with Allen West, that’s another mystery to me. But I think one of the things it indicates is that this is no longer the country that we grew up in, this is a different country now today, the values are different, the people are making different and I think alarming choices about who their leaders are going to be.

Rios: I think you’re right, I have some very deep thoughts about this and I’ve just been holding back. The thing that struck me last night and I’ll go right for this I suppose: I really do believe that God is really giving us the desires of our heart, as a nation, not us individually. This is what the nation wants. The nation wants abortion all the time for any reason. That was very important to people, that was one of the reasons that some people went down last night. That’s one of the reasons the President prevailed among women by a pretty high percentage. They want abortion, they are demanding it, they are going to get it and with no restrictions, they are going to get government-funded abortion. They also want gay marriage, they are clamoring for gay marriage. Of course it isn’t just gay marriage, it’s instruction, explicit instruction in public schools, it’s really I think the rape of our children’s innocence, but they want it and they are going to get it, and we’re going to get it too.

AFA News Director Says Liberal Churches, Media Share Responsibility for Colorado Shooting

Fred Jackson, the American Family Association’s news director, while discussing the Colorado movie theater shooting today said that liberal Christian churches and liberal media helped contribute to violent incidents by supposedly deemphasizing the fear of God and the Bible. During AFA Today, Jackson had on as his guest Jerry Newcombe of Truth in Action Ministries to discuss his column on the AFA’s OneNewsNow blaming the shooting on a waning fear of God and Hell, and blamed the American Civil Liberties Union for destroying the public school system by supposedly forbidding students from reading the Bible. “You wonder why all these terrible things are happening to us when there is no fear of God,” Newcombe said.

Jackson maintained that unlike in the communities of forty years ago, liberals in the media and churches, along with movies and the internet, have “have come together to give us these kinds of incidents.”

Jackson: In the community there were community standards that reflected biblical principles, whether people knew it or not, the standard in the community was based on Scripture. In that short period of time, roughly forty years, we have seen such a transformation in values in our communities, whether it’s rural or whether it’s big city. I have to think that all of this, whether it’s the Hollywood movies, whether it’s what we see on the internets [sic], whether it’s liberal bias in the media, whether it’s our politicians changing public policy, I think all of those somehow have fit together—and I have to say also churches who are leaving the authority of Scripture and losing their fear of God—all of those things have seem to have come together to give us these kinds of incidents.

Newcombe: I think that’s so true. It’s as if we said to God, publicly or in the public arena, ‘get out, You’re not welcome here anymore’ and it’s as if God removed His protection from our land.

Update: Later in the program, Jackson and co-host Teddy James of AFA Journal said the shooting is a sign of God’s judgment for the failings of the public education system and liberal, mainline Protestant churches that affirm gays and lesbians.

Jackson: I think the sources of this is [sic] multifaceted but you can put it all I think under the heading of rebellion to God, a rejection of the God of the Bible. I think along with an education system that has produced our lawyers, our politicians, more teachers, more professors, all of that sort of thing, is our churches, mainline churches. We’ve been dealing Teddy and I know the AFA Journal has been dealing with denominations that no longer believe in the God of the Bible, they no longer believe that Jesus is the only way of salvation, they teach that God is OK with homosexuality, this is just increasing more and more. It is mankind shaking its fist at the authority of God.

James: And God will not be silent when he’s mocked, and we need to remember that.

Jackson: We are seeing his judgment. You know, some people talk about ‘God’s judgment must be just around the corner,’ we are seeing it.

AFA: 'What Makes Ellen DeGeneres Dangerous is That She's a Nice Person'

It is worth noting that even though the campaign to pressure JC Penney to fire Ellen DeGeneres as its spokesperson was launched by One Million Moms, a project of the American Family Association, the effort has the full support of every arm of the organization, from its news outlets to its radio hosts.

Case in point, on yesterday's edition of AFR Mornings, hosts Buster Wilson and Fred Jackson weighed in on the campaign, explaining that DeGeneres needs to be fired because she is just not "wholesome" and is actually "dangerous" .... because she is just so darn nice:

Wilson: JC Penney has employed Ellen DeGeneres as their new national spokesperson, so their re-branding themselves and they brought in Ellen, who happens to be very popular in the culture, she is, there is no doubt about that but ... we just don't believe that Ellen DeGeneres is wholesome, family. She is known, she made her name, by being the first real television star to come out in her homosexuality.

Jackson: You kind of mentioned it. What makes Ellen DeGeneres dangerous is that she's a nice person and, I haven't watched her program but apparently she does an interesting kind of funny program. So she does a good job of masking her very active role in the homosexual agenda - and she's extremely active in that agenda. But she doesn't go out on her program, I understand, and do that. But she's known, Buster. JC Penney knew exactly what it was doing when they hired Ellen DeGeneres. They know she's a homosexual activist [and] that she's out there fighting for greater homosexual rights.
