  • Janet Porter is not taking her election loss lying down, as she is now promoting an effort to remove the chairman of the Ohio Republican Party for spending money on attack ads against her.
  • Florida Gov. Rick Scott has endorsed Donald Trump.
  • Speaking of Trump, he is warning that there may be riots if he is denied the Republican nomination at a brokered convention.
  • Steve McConkey fumes that "the NCAA is full of politically correct individuals that have caved into the homosexual agenda in the past."
  • Finally, Gordon Klingenschmitt predictably responds by playing the persecuted vicitm after being slammed for using the death of a local priest to raise money for his campaign for a seat in the Colorado state Senate.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 3/9/16

  • The Colorado Springs Gazette calls upon Republicans to tell Gordon Klingenschmitt "to check his demeanor and stop embarrassing their city and party" after he "publicly exploited the death of a beloved priest — on the day of his funeral" to raise money for his state senate campaign.
  • Phyllis Schlafly seems to get worked up over the strangest things.
  • Glenn Beck is sad to discover that Matt Drudge is not reliable: "We used to use Matt Drudge all the time for broadcast because we would know that it was a pretty good source. You can’t use Matt Drudge anymore."

  • Finally, Linda Harvey warns her fellow anti-gay Republicans to beware of John Kasich's "pro-homosexual sympathies."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 2/2/16

  • Theodore Shoebat posted a 40-minute video yesterday explaining why Donald Trump would easily win in Iowa. We look forward to his explanation of why he was totally wrong.
  • The Ben Carson campaign is ripping the Ted Cruz campaign for supposedly engaging in "dirty tricks" in Iowa, as if that was to blame for his fourth-place finish.
  • Is President Obama the Antichrist? Not exactly, as a new book explains "that Obama's role is to lead America, as one of the Antichrist's voices, to eventually assimilate into the Antichrist's kingdom referred to in Scripture as the ten toes, ten horns, and in today's lingo, referred to as the New World Order, which is the realignment of all nations into ten political/economic regions."
  • Jan Markell is not happy that Obama will be visiting a mosque: "I'm sure there are some patriotic Muslims, but I simply do not know what they've actually contributed in a significant way to our country."
  • Thinking of marrying yourself? Bethany Blankley urges you to think again: "God gave these women and others interested in self marriage over to their own 'depraved minds.' Their depravity is the result of their rejection of God and they 'do what ought not to be done.' Lifestyle choices reflect more than an individual's personal choice. They have eternal consequences."
  • Finally, Gordon Klingenschmitt has scored a key endorsement in his run for a state senate seat in Colorado: Alan Keyes

Klingenschmitt Promotes Column Denouncing Trump As 'Demonic'

Colorado State Rep. Gordon Klingenschmitt, aka, “Dr. Chaps,” is promoting on his “Pray in Jesus Name” website a column by a Ted Cruz backer who denounces Donald Trump as “demonic” and says Trump voters are seeking a “false Messiah.”

The column’s author, Chicago-based pundit Andre Traversa, describes himself as “an online radio talk-show host, media consultant, and Bible-believing Christian with a deep concern for this nation.” Traversa sees in Ted Cruz “the opportunity to elect the most ideologically conservative president I’ve seen in my lifetime.”

He says that as Trump’s attacks on Cruz “assumed a dark and malicious character,” he realized “this was no ordinary political squabble, but a battle between the forces of light and darkness.”

When God revealed this to me, I felt called to spend a week in fasting and prayer. Today is my 6th day of having only juice and water, while I seek the Lord in prayer for our nation, as well as for revival in my own heart, life, and personal relationships.

For the last several months, I have increasingly felt that Trump voters were seeking a false messiah, asking Trump to be their personal Savior.

Traversa criticizes what he says are blatant lies that he says Trump’s “low information voters” don’t seem to care about.

In the last few days, Trump’s demonic face has become even more apparent, even to the point of blasphemy.

On Friday, Trump claimed that if people were depressed due to losing their job, “I will lift your depression, I will make you happy.”

Does Trump think he’s Jesus, who can heal our wounds and save us from ourselves? And speaking of Jesus, notice how Trump never mentions him, even while he claims to be a Christian.

Traversa says the Republican establishment would prefer Trump because Cruz will not make deals with them, and that Cruz is “a man of God” who “has promised to attract millions of non-voting Christians to the polls, which would change American politics forever.” That’s why, he reasons, Cruz is being attacked.

This prospect scares the daylights out of the elites in both parties, who hate the name of Jesus more than they’ll ever publicly admit.

Make no mistake, our war is not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities, and spiritual wickedness in high places.

A Bible-believing Christian president is a powerful weapon against demonic forces.

Do your part in Iowa, vote Cruz, and fight on the side of righteousness.

  • Glenn Beck warns that Donald Trump is a "pathological narcissistic sociopath" and says that people should listen to him because he accurately predicted 9/11, the 2008 economic crisis and the rise of the caliphate.
  • Speaking of Beck, Alex Jones is convinced that Beck is trying to "get rid of me and steal my identity."
  • Mike Huckabee apparently thinks that making an Iowa-centric parody of Adele's "Hello" is going to boost him to victory in next week's caucuses.
  • On a related note, Steven Anderson says that only Huckabee can stop God from destroying America: "Voting Huckabee for president means God won't remove the USA in judgment for our sins."
  • In announcing his campaign for a state senate seat, Gordon Klingenschmitt claims that he is a college professor.
  • Finally, Klingenschmitt has thrown his support behind fellow radical right-wing activist Janet Porter in her own run for state office in Ohio.

Thunder Road: Lance Wallnau Exposes The Secret Cabal Controlling The Entire Progressive Movement

On his most recent "Pray In Jesus Name" program, Gordon Klingenschmitt interviewed Lance Wallnau, a leading proponent of Seven Mountains Dominionism, which is the idea that Christians are to do "whatever is necessary" to gain influence over everything from government to education to the media.

During the interview, Wallnau told to Klingenschmitt that Christians must organize to take control of these "mountains" because they are currently being dominated by liberals, thanks to a secretive plot set in motion back in 2000.

As Wallnau explained, he learned about this secretive effort from none other than Tom DeLay, so you know it is reliable. DeLay apparently revealed to Wallnau that leading left-wing political strategists had convened a secret meeting at which 100 very wealthy donors agreed to give a million dollars apiece to found and fund a series of progressive groups that would carry out their agenda while maintaining the appearance of independence.

Wallnau asserted that this secret effort, called "Thunder Road," set out to identify the weaknesses in the conservative movement "and then created nine or 10 siege works, or engines, single-issue organizations that would be tasked to break down the wall and exploit the weakness."

Wallnau claimed that this massive effort resulted in the creation of the Center for American Progress, Media Matters, Citizens for Ethics and Responsibility in Washington (CREW), America Votes, MoveOn, and even us here at Right Wing Watch.

"It's just sheer genius, in a way, because they call them the most benevolent names possible," he said. "Let's MoveOn.org. Move on from what? Well, move on from values and God into anarchy, but they don't say that; it's move on from Bush and his nutty stuff."

"Now what you think is," Wallnau stated, "these are independent organizations that are all kind of beating the drum. What you really have is almost like a military operation of independent organizations funded, started and controlled by a central bank, central budget and central strategy."

This effort must be far more secretive than even Wallnau recognizes, considering that we are supposedly a part of it and we've never even heard anything about it.

Alan Keyes Says Obama Is 'The First Anti-American To Ever Occupy The White House'

Alan Keyes was the guest on several episodes of Gordon Klingenschmitt's "Pray In Jesus Name" program this week, where he asserted that it was "insane" for America to ever have elected President Obama.

On Tuesday's program, Klingenschmitt and Keyes, who was Obama's Republican opponent in the 2004 U.S. Senate race in Illinois, discussed the incident earlier this month in which Iran briefly detained and quickly released several U.S. Navy sailors who had inadvertently crossed into Iranian waters due to mechanical problems, with Keyes blasting Obama for supposedly deliberately weakening America and its military because he hates this nation.

"Obama has essentially turned us into a kind of footstool for these people," he stated. "They despise us and no longer believe that we have the will to use such power as we have. And the second thing, sadly, is I think Obama has actually let our power deteriorate to a point where, in terms of the actual wherewithal to deal with some of these situations, he's let it slide. And he's also been a person who, in his rules of engagement and other activities, has done what seems prone to do; he's attacked the people who are supposed to defend us, he's demoralized the soldiers who are responsible for defending us."

"He has actually behaved as what I called him years ago," Keyes concluded. "He's the first anti-American ever to occupy the White House and it was insane to put him there!"

Conservative Commentator Says 'Jewish Guilt' Causes Jews To Cast A 'Suicide Vote' For Democrats

On his "Pray In Jesus Name" program yesterday, Gordon Klingenschmitt interviewed right-wing radio host and political commentator Josh Bernstein, who offered his insightful opinion about how "Jewish guilt" regularly causes Jews to cast a "suicide vote" in support of Democratic candidates.

"I believe that most Jews that are not religious, that are more secular, are more in favor of being Democrats because of Jewish guilt," Bernstein explained. "Jews are known as the chosen people and, in the Torah, there is a section called Tikkun Olam, which means 'to heal the world.' So Jews, as the chosen people, they're usually more wealthy, they're usually more educated and they usually are in an upper eschalon in society ... and so there's an internal guilt that they feel about that. And so what they do instead is that they vote for, quote, the disenfranchised or the little guy or the people that need a leg up in society. But what they don't understand is that typically the folks that they vote for are the most anti-Semitic so, in essence, it becomes a suicide vote."

"If you look at it from a biblical perspective," he concluded, "and you look at what the Torah says, you can understand quite succinctly why Jews are more liberal."

GOP Lawmaker Circulates Post Calling For Execution Of The Judge In Oregon Land Case

It seems that at least one more GOP lawmaker has come out in favor of the seizure of a federal building by Ammon Bundy’s makeshift militia in protest of the resentencing of Steven and Dwight Hammond for arson on federal property.

And of course it’s Gordon Klingenschmitt.

Klingenschmitt, the Colorado state representative/televangelist/demon-hunter/exorcist/conspiracy theorist, shared a post on his Facebook page suggesting that the judge presiding over the Hammons’ case is guilty of treason and should therefore be hanged.

ALL JUDGES who do not allow Constitutional law to be cited to the Jury needs to be PROSECUTED for Title 18 U.S. Code section 2381 Capital Felony Treason

Title 18 U.S. Code section 2381
When in the presence of two witnesses to the same overt act or in an open court of law if you fail to timely move to protect and defend the constitution of the United States and honor your oath of office you are subject to the charge of capital felony treason, and upon conviction you will be taken by the posse to the nearest busy intersection and at high noon hung by the neck until dead…The body to remain in state till dusk as an example to anyone who takes his oath of office lightly.

In the comment section, Klingenschmitt said of the militia: “I will disagree with them if they turn violent, but not until then.”

During the 2014 standoff at the Bundy ranch between militia members and law enforcement agents, the Republican lawmaker told viewers of his “Pray In Jesus Name” broadcast that the government might try to murder the people in “the freedom movement” at the ranch and bury their bodies in a mass graves.

Gordon Klingenschmitt Says Gays Are Driven By A 'Demonic Spirit Of Lust' To Persecute Christians

Gordon Klingenschmitt is outraged by a Massachusetts court decision finding that a Catholic school discriminated against a man when it rescinded a job offer to him after learning that he was gay and married, declaring that the lawsuit demonstrates that gay people are driven by a "demonic spirit of lust" to persecute Christians.

The Colorado Republican lawmaker said on his "Pray In Jesus Name" program yesterday that the lawsuit shows that "there is a demonic spirit here of persecution against the church" and that gay people do not simply want to be left alone but rather are intent on "coming after the church."

"They're coming after us," Klingenschmitt warned. "They don't care about the First Amendment. They don't care about the Constitution. They just want power. And this is not about sexuality any more, it's about power and that's a demonic spirit of lust; not just lust for another man, but lust for power over the Christian people who yearn to breathe free":

Gordon Klingenschmitt Blames Demonic Influence For Failure To Defund Planned Parenthood

On his "Pray In Jesus Name" program recently, Colorado state lawmaker and Religious Right activist Gordon Klingenschmitt blamed the "demonic spirit of murder" for congressional failure to defund Planned Parenthood.

"Did you know there is also a spiritual world that is influencing these key players?" Klingenschmitt asked. "When the evil spirit, the spirit of Satan influences people to sin and the people humanly choose sin, they're listening to and cooperating with and collaborating with and contracting with that evil spirit who gets inside of them and becomes manifest through their behavior."

"So you see the invisible spirits, the Holy Spirit of God with his angels and the demonic spirits are speaking to each of these human actors in this scenario," he continued, "and we can discern, for example, upon those who promote a pro-abortion agenda the demonic spirit of murder who is influencing them and forcing us, as taxpayers, to collaborate with them to fund the killing of innocent children and that is wrong and that is evil and that is demonic."

William Murray Blames Paris Attacks On Selfish European Women Who Aren't Having Children

William Murray, chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition and founder of the Government Is Not God PAC, was a guest on Gordon Klingenschmitt's "Pray In Jesus Name" program today, where he was asked to share his "expertise" on last week's terrorist attacks in Paris.

As Murray explained it, such attacks should not come as a surprise since France and Europe as a whole have been "overrun" by Muslims because European women are too selfish and short-sighted to dedicate their lives to having children.

"Here is the core issue," Murray stated, "Europe has been importing hundreds of thousands of Muslims because the women of Europe don't want to have children. They want to play, they want to have fun, they want to go on long vacations, they want to have money, they want to have cars, they want to have nice apartments, they're secularly motivated, the church is almost dead in Europe ... They don't believe that the propagation of the species is the most important thing that they're here for, they think that the most important thing that they're here for are the secular reasons, to have fun. That's what they believe they're on earth for, to spend money and to have fun. So they're importing these hundreds of thousands of Muslims in in order to work because they simply don't have children."

Klingenschmitt: Candidates Who Manifest The 'Spirit Of God' Will Always Win Election 'Unless The People Are Evil'

On his "Pray In Jesus Name" program yesterday, Colorado Republican state legislator Gordon Klingenschmitt hailed the election of Matt Bevin as governor in Kentucky last week, declaring that voters will always elected godly candidates ... unless, that is, the voters are evil.

"Congratulations, governor-elect," Klingenschmitt said, "for manifesting and representing the spirit of God in your campaign. People, when they see God inside of a candidate, they will vote for him every time because people are drawn to the spirit of God."

"When people see true freedom in the heart of a candidate, he can always win an election," Klingenschmitt continued. "Unless the people are evil, and then they will vote against the spirit of God that is in him."

Gordon Klingenschmitt: Hurricane Gordon Was A Sign Of God's Support For Me

Gordon Klingenschmitt, a Republican state legislator from Colorado and Religious Right activist, spoke at a "Prayer For Our Warriors Conference" at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Arizona recently, the same event at which fellow right-wing pastor Rick Scarborough declared that God would give us the cure for AIDS if only this nation would repent for tolerating homosexuality.

For his part, Klingenschmitt dedicated his speech to recounting his battle back in 2006 when he was a Navy chaplain over supposedly being prevented from praying in the name of Jesus while serving in his official capacity, for which he was eventually court-martialed. (In reality, he was disciplined for appearing in uniform at a political rally.)

As Klingenschmitt explained in his remarks, he intentionally violated Navy policy and then brought it to the attention of his superiors, only to find out that the Navy was initially willing to just give him a slap on the wrist and allow him to return to his job. But Klingenschmitt wanted to be a martyr and so he insisted on receiving a full court-martial and being put on trial for his actions, which is exactly what he received ... and was then found guilty.

But even though he lost his case in court, Klingenschmitt knows that he won his case in Heaven because "on 14 September, 2006, the same day I was literally found guilty of worshiping in public in a Virginia Beach courtroom, 1,000 miles off the Virginia coastline, Hurricane Gordon is swelling at full strength."

"My first name is Gordon," Klingenschmitt helpfully explained in case anyone missed the significance. "Glory to God! Hallelujah! God is doing signs and wonders in the heavens."

Five Of The Most Bigoted Attacks On The Houston Equal Rights Ordinance

Tomorrow, the city of Houston will vote on the future of its nondiscrimination measure, also known as the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance (HERO).

The way anti-LGBT activists see it, the law will destroy religious freedom and jeopardize the safety of women and children, dramatic events that haven’t occurred in the hundreds of cities and counties with similar nondiscrimination measures. Of course, regularly telling outright falsehoods about the supposed threats of the LGBT community has never held back the Religious Right.

We’ve compiled a list of just a few of the most absurd attacks used by right-wing activists who hope to lie their way to victory tomorrow.

5) Josh Duggar Weighs In

Before resigning from his post at the Family Research Council following revelations about child sexual abuse and, later, extramarital affairs, Josh Duggar was an outspoken opponent of nondiscrimination ordinances, which he said would harm women and children. Duggar told one FRC event that the HERO ordinance represents “injustice and evil” as it reveals an effort to “put us behind bars.”

4) ‘The Country’s Gone’

Televangelist Pat Robertson has also promoted baseless claims that Houstonians will no longer have religious freedom if HERO survives tomorrow’s referendum, railing against its supporters as “terrorists” and warning that nondiscrimination measures could bring about God’s wrath.

On today’s edition of “The 700 Club,” Robertson used the upcoming vote as an excuse to attack the transgender community.

“If people are having all these sex changes, what do you do with them?” he asked. “You’ve got Bruce Jenner, he was the guy on the Wheaties box, and he gets ‘Woman of the Year’ after a sex change operation?”

A “700 Club” reporter then spoke with Houston pastor Ed Young, who said that if Christians do not defeat the ordinance, “we are gone in the 21st century.”

“We are being discriminated against, not the other way around,” he said.

Steven Hotze of Conservative Republicans of Texas added: “If Houston falls and Texas falls to the homosexual political movement on this issue, the country’s gone.”

3) HERO Activists Like ISIS

Another televangelist targeting the measure, Donnie Swaggart, said that Houstonians need to rise up before they find out that the Bible has been banned in the city.

“The war on the church and Christianity and our beliefs and the war on God, all of this is to shut the Bible up, they want the Bible gone,” he said. “These people that are trying to do this in Houston, the only difference between them and ISIS, those thugs in Iraq, is those here cannot chop our heads off. That’s the only difference. The heart is the same. The heart is the same. If they could silence us that way to intimidate others, that’s exactly what they would do.”

2) Don’t Vote For Satan

Colorado state legislator and televangelist Gordon Klingenschmitt believes that HERO will be defeated, in part because people will stand up to the transgender women who he says seek to “expose themselves to little girls” in restrooms and are possessed by “a demonic spirit.”

“Father, save the children from the perverts in Houston,” he prayed.

1) ‘Appalling’ That ‘We Have A Homosexual Mayor’

Rafael Cruz, Texas senator Ted Cruz’s father and campaign surrogate, has traveled around the country warning about the supposed dangers of the HERO ordinance, which he called “absolutely crazy.” His son’s own denouncement of the equal rights measure, he said, was proof that “the hand of God” is working in the anti-HERO campaign.

He also revealed that much of the Religious Right’s work is driven by contempt for Houston Mayor Annise Parker, a lesbian. “It is appalling that in a city like Houston, right in the middle of the Bible Belt, we have a homosexual mayor,” he said.

One Houston pastor, Dave Welch, similarly declared that Mayor Parker is a sinister figure who is waging a spiritual war against Christians.

“We allowed a lesbian mayor to be elected because most of the churches were asleep and just didn’t care.” he said. “They didn’t understand the consequences of putting somebody in political power, with the authority of the sword, who has literally rejected every element of the created order of God and his word and his moral truths. Why would we expect somebody to act lawfully when they are living lawlessly?”

Gordon Klingenschmitt Has A 'Scientific Method' That Proves The Existence Of God

On his "Pray In Jesus Name" program recently, Colorado Republican state Rep. Gordon Kilngenschmitt offered up a scientific test that can prove the existence of God once and for all.

Responding to a recent interview in which atheist Richard Dawkins said that he would change his mind about the existence of God as soon as someone shows him some evidence, Klingenschmitt eagerly took up the challenge.

"You want evidence of God?," he asked. "I can give you evidence of God. In fact, I'll show you God; all you've got to do is repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and invite him to come into your heart. Now this is a scientific method. I'm giving you step A: you repent; step B: you believe; step C: you invite Jesus Christ to come into your heart as Lord and Savior. Follow that scientific method and I guarantee you will see Jesus Christ."

Those who refuse to follow this "scientific method," Klingenschmitt explained, will never discover the proof of God's existence because they have have not "followed the method that works."

"You want evidence? I'll give you evidence," he said, "but you've got to do what Christ commands."

Gordon Klingenschmitt: Planned Parenthood Execs Possessed By Demons, 'Blood Dripping From Their Fangs'

Gordon “Dr. Chaps” Klingenschmitt, the Religious Right activist and Colorado state representative, is adept at “discerning the spirits” within his adversaries and applied his talents to the leaders of Planned Parenthood on his “Pray In Jesus Name” program this weekend.

Absurdly claiming that a recent Planned Parenthood decision to stop accepting legal reimbursements for fetal tissue donation at the two clinics that currently accept such reimbursements was an “admission that they were selling aborted baby parts,” Klingenschmitt declared that the women’s health organization’s executives should be “in jail for multiple felonies, not only for killing children — some justices think that’s legal, in God’s eyes it’s never legal — but profiting for it.”

“I don’t believe these people for a moment, do you?” he asked. “In fact, we can discern upon them the spirit of lying, the spirit of death, the spirit of murder, the spirit of greed. I mean, whenever I look at a picture of those executives, if you look in the spirit, at the demons inside of them, you can see the blood dripping from their fangs. These people are just evil.”
