  • Bryan Fischer really is obsessed with homosexuality: "The sad truth is that homosexuality throughout history is almost boring in its monotonous deviance from God’s design for human sexuality. There is nothing new or exciting or edgy to see here, despite the effort to convince us that embracing homosexuality is something all the cool kids do."
  • The Family Research Council and Concerned Women for America have launched a 20-state "Values Bus Tour" to mobilize conservative Christians to vote, while The Family Leader's Bob Vander Plaats is launching a 40-day election prayer effort.
  • Linda Harvey is outraged by a new report from the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights: "This fascist report defends those who cling to these unnatural, chosen practices as 'vulnerable' and in need of protection, and therefore, religious principle should not deny them the right to march into any forum, group, business, school, or church and make whatever demands they wish. Vulnerable? That would describe today’s faithful Christian Americans – not proud sodomites."
  • Shane Idleman says that trying to repeal marriage equality is not hateful because "times change but God's standards do not change. Although Christians love those in the LGBT community, no matter how many laws are passed in favor of sexual orientation, it will not change God's mind."

A Revisionist History Lesson From Marcus Lamb

Back in June, James Robison, a member of Donald Trump's Evangelical Executive Advisory Board, appeared on Daystar's "Marcus & Joni" program, where he and the hosts made the case that conservative Christians must vote for Trump in November because of his promise to appoint hard-line conservatives to the Supreme Court.

In an attempt to demonstrate the importance of the Supreme Court, host Marcus Lamb uncorked an absurd history lesson that would even put a pseudo-historian like David Barton to shame.

"If we get the right person in office and they get to appoint the right judges," he said, "did you know that Roe v. Wade would be reversed? Did you know that same-sex marriage could be reversed? Listen, it used to be the law of the land that you could own slaves. That got reversed in the Supreme Court, so it can change but only it we stand up and do the right thing."

The Supreme Court, of course, never issued any such ruling and, in fact, ruled exactly the opposite, leading eventually to the Civil War and the passage of the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery.

Donald Trump Taps Michele Bachmann, James Dobson & Other Far-Right Leaders For Advisory Board

Today, Donald Trump’s campaign announced the formation of his Evangelical Executive Advisory Board, which includes right-wing figures ranging from ex-Rep. Michele Bachmann to Focus on the Family founder James Dobson.

After retiring from Congress on the heels of a campaign scandal, Bachmann has not let up in her radical preaching.

According to Bachmann, the September 11 attacks represented God’s judgment on America; President Obama and gay rights advocates are bringing about the End Times; homosexuality is “personal enslavement” and “part of Satan”; gay people want to change laws “so that adults will be able to freely prey on little children sexually”; and Obamacare death panels will literally kill people any day now.

Texas-based televangelist Kenneth Copeland is also on the advisory board even though God told him that Ted Cruz would be the next president. Like Trump, Copeland has been implicated in financial scandals and preaches against vaccines, which may have been a reason that one of his churches suffered a measles outbreak.

Copeland also claims the ability to cure PTSD and Ebola.

Dobson, who once said that he could not support Trump, has a long history with the anti-LGBT Right, warning that gay marriage will lead to a second civil war and pastors going to prison, as well as ushering in the destruction of religious freedom, God’s judgment on America and the transformation of the U.S. into Nazi Germany. He even linked same-sex marriage to the Sandy Hook shooting.

Other board members include Richard Land, who claims gay people are satanic and once lost a radio show after making racist, plagiarized statements, and Harry Jackson, a Maryland pastor who preaches about gay people trying to recruit children and prays against the demons behind same-sex marriage:

The group also include Southern Baptist pastor Ronnie Floyd, who has written about how “Satan has taken his tool of homosexuality, a gross and evil sin, and done a con job on the American culture.”

Also on the list is Robert Jeffress, whobelieves that gays and lesbians are ‘perverse’ people who are either pedophiles or likely to abuse children in the future; has compared homosexuality to bestiality and called it ‘a miserable lifestyle’; accused gay people of using ‘brainwashing techniques’ to have homosexuality ‘crammed down our throats’; said that gay people ‘are engaged in the most detestable, unclean, abominable acts you can imagine’; predicted that the gay rights movement ‘will pave the way for that future world dictator, the Antichrist’; and labeled homosexuality a ‘filthy practice’ that will lead to the ‘implosion of our country.’”

Televangelist James Robison is another member:

And yet it was just the other day that Donald Trump was fashioning himself as a champion of the LGBT community.

James Robison: Donald Trump Could Save America From Hell

Televangelist James Robinson on Friday urged conservatives to rally behind Donald Trump, explaining that the presumptive GOP nominee is ripe for an evangelical conversion and could stave off demonic attacks against the country.

Robinson said in an interview with the American Family Association’s Sandy Rios that if Trump loses to a Democrat, America will be given over to Satan:

We’ve got one side that’s already said the government is the source, that’s your security, that’s your future. That is a lie straight out of the pit of hell. And they say kill all the babies that the mother wants to terminate and it doesn’t matter how you define marriage and we don’t even protect basic morality anymore. How long does it take the church to step away from that kind of nonsense?

I don’t care what your race is, what color you are, what your background is or your heritage, you better stand against that evil because we’re shedding innocent blood and when you shed innocent blood, you’re going to be given over to deception, the whole country will be filled with the fruit of lies and there will be no peace.

What we have to do as a church is say, ‘I will stand against that because I still have a choice. I am not going to allow the gates of hell to take over my country. I don’t have to give God’s great earth to the devil and to the destroyer.’ That’s what the church has to say and I think we’re real close to the church doing that.

  • Televangelist James Robison asks: “What if, by the miraculous grace of God, these two Republican politicians — Donald Trump and Ted Cruz — came together and were moved in supernatural unity? ….What if they chose to serve God and others together, for the sake of freedom, by serving one another and leading America as a team? What if they not only shook hands but got on their knees together to seek God’s best for all of us, whom the Father loves so deeply?”
  • Anti-LGBT activist Linda Harvey declares that “homosexuals and the ‘transgendered’ are victims only of their own desires and delusions.”
  • Andrea Lafferty of the Traditional Values Coalition says that “Martin Luther King Jr. didn't march on Selma so that grown men and boys could march into girls changing rooms and showers.”
  • Alveda King is tired of all the people “suggesting that allowing everyone to use the same public bathrooms will solve America's problems” since “America’s moral dilemma won’t be solved in the public bathrooms of America.”

James Robison: Christians Should Not Shun Trump Because God Can Use Him

Among the speakers at “The Awakening” conference, which was held in Orlando on Saturday, was televangelist James Robison. Robison’s main message  literally screamed at Awakening attendees  was that sitting out the election is not an option, even if Donald Trump is the nominee, as he derided those who suggest ways to manipulate the election process to deny Trump the nomination.

Robison mentioned David Green, head of Hobby Lobby and Religious Right folk hero, who recently endorsed Marco Rubio and said that Trump scares him to death. Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich all love the Lord, said Robison, and “they would be my choice,” but it is unlikely that any of them will get the nomination.

It doesn’t seem like that may be the person we get. So what are you gonna do, throw your hands up? Are you gonna do what one of the bravest Christians I know in this nation said earlier this week he’s gonna do? ‘If it boils down to that person and the person on the other side, I’m staying home.’ DON’T DO IT! And I will go to David Green’s home and drive him to the poll. He’s a man of God. He’s an incredible example of Christ in a man and a man in Christ. We don’t opt out! We’re His ambassadors in Christ, more than conquerors in Christ, witnesses for Christ.

What happens, said Robison, is up to God, not would-be kingmakers. Robison drew an analogy to the 1980 election, when the Democratic candidate was Jimmy Carter, a Sunday school teacher and a born-again Christian who “truly loved the Lord” but could not provide the principled leadership that the country needed. “God miraculously gave us an actor that had an encounter with God,” said Robison.

Robison said he hopes that Christian leaders who are close to Trump like Jerry Falwell, Jr. and Robert Jeffress will lead Trump to a “road to Damascus experience” that would demonstrate God’s power to the world even more effectively than the Religious Right successfully playing kingmaker. For the world to see God transform someone “who so obviously needs changing” would be, he said, like writing another chapter in the biblical book of Acts.

(Of course, Trump already claims to be a “big-league” Christian).

Robison said the U.S. is experiencing its most critical days since the nation’s founding: “We just lost a Catholic Supreme Court justice that was a gift from God. They need to be replaced by men who have an understanding of truth like him.” But, he said, there has also been good news.

Now, I want you to really listen up, because we’re seeing prayer answered, when you think about this…Do you agree that you heard more candidates running for the highest office in the land talking about the importance of life, standing for life, did they not? Did we not have more true Christians who know Christ personally running for office than you’ve ever seen in your lifetime?

Robison also used his remarks to promote The Stream, an online news site he publishes that is dedicated to “championing freedom, smaller government and human dignity,” and to attacking “the Left” for its views on government:

The ones of what is referred to as the Left, they say, ‘Depend on Pharaoh, depend on Caesar, depend on the government, depend on a source other than God, and Uncle Sam will now be Father God and take care of you.’ That’s what they’re saying. That’s the lie, and it came straight out of the pit of hell. Now you may be a wonderful person in that party, but that belief system is rotten to the core. It’s simply anti-biblical, anti-God, anti-truth and anti-people. It will not work. It will keep us in bondage.

  • Mike Huckabee is the presidential candidate who will "bring the most freedom, jobs, and national security from God blessing the USA" according to the American Christian Voting Guide.
  • James Robison worries that we can no longer ask for God to bless America because "our modern society often promotes practices, lifestyles and ideas that run counter to the biblical principles of God."
  • Former "Love Connection" host Chuck Woolery seems like a smart guy.
  • Warning! "The global elite have never been closer to their goal of a united world."
  • Finally, there is nothing that gives Religious Right more hope than the persistent belief that there are millions of "missing" evangelical voters out there who simply need to be properly mobilized to save America.

Hagee: Christians Must 'Storm The Voting Booths And Vote The Bible'

John Hagee was the guest on James Robison's television program again today, where the two men continued their discussion of the existence and influence of demons as Hagee recounted his very first experience with a woman who became demon-possessed after playing with tarot cards.

But all that demon talk was really just a precursor to the main point of the program, which was the importane of getting Christians to vote in the upcoming presidential election.

It is imperative that the church "rise up and correct this nation's course," Robison said, and Hagee agreed, declaring that Christians must "storm the voting booths and vote the Bible" in order to throw all the "pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage" politicians out of office.

"The Bible says when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. But the people of God have to stand up and speak up," Hagee said. "We, as salt and light, need to storm the voting booths and vote the Bible. Don't send some political hack to Washington who will continue doing the same old things of pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage, all of the things that are dragging this country down. Send someone that has a godly conviction, not what the speech they are writing or giving but by what their voting record says they are. And if they're not doing the righteous thing, send someone in their place to go. And if you can't find that one, run yourself!  There is nothing wrong with you running."

John Hagee Was Saved By An Angel But Couldn't Save A Woman From Demon Possession Brought On By 'The Exorcist'

John Hagee appeared on James Robison's television program today to promote his most recent book, "The Three Heavens: Angels, Demons and What Lies Ahead." Given the title, it was not surprising that much of the program was dedicated to a discussion of the existence and influence of angels and demons in world, with Hagee providing personal examples of his experiences with both.

In the first instance, Hagee recalled an incident from December, 1971, in which a man carrying a loaded gun entered his church, stood eight feet away and declared that he had come to kill Hagee in order "to demonstrate that Satan has more power than Jesus Christ."

Hagee responded by holding up his Bible and proclaiming that "no weapon formed against me shall prosper," at which point the gunmen fired six shots from close range and fled. The gunman was eventually tackled by a parishioner and arrested, while Hagee miraculously survived without a scratch because he was being protected by an angel.

"The next day, the police came and put a two-by-four where he was standing and took string and measured it and the bullet holes in the wall," Hagee recalled. "See, I'm standing right where I stood. There were three bullets to the left and three bullets to the right. I believe the angel of God was there parrying those bullets right and left to preserve my life. I would not be alive without the protection of the angels of God."

Later in the program, Hagee recalled a different situation in which a young woman went to see the film "The Exorcist" and became demon-possessed to such an extent that she began howling during the middle of one of his sermons. Hagee sought to pray for the woman but was prevented from doing so by her father, who was a psychiatrist, and so she eventually wound up in a psychiatric institution because Hagee had not been allowed to deliver her through prayer.

"It is not an innocent thing when you walk into the kingdom of darkness," Hagee warned. "The demonic power can take you over and the only thing that will get it out is the authority of Jesus' name and the blood of the cross."

  • Bradlee Dean warns that the end of capital punishment leads to God's judgment.
  • Larry Tomczak declares that "because of rampant homosexuality, abortion, pornography, abandonment of Israel, widespread political corruption, obscene debt accumulation and celebration of immorality in America, judgment is at hand."
  • OANN's Graham Ledger says that some undocumented immigrants might already be "self-deporting" because they're afraid Donald Trump will be elected president
  • Finally, a warning from James Robison: "It is only the grace and mercy of God that prevents our nation from being destroyed. God is still our shelter, but if as a nation we continue on the present rebellious course, the hedge of protection will come down. We are already seeing it happen ... If we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries. It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

Rick Scarborough: Congressmen Back Plan To Go To Jail To Defy Gay Marriage

Anti-gay pastor Rick Scarborough, notorious for insisting that HIV/AIDS is God’s punishment for homosexuality, is working with Religious Right leader James Dobson, televangelist James Robison and conservative legal activist Mat Staver to recruit leading Religious Right activists and politicians to sign a pledge to commit civil disobedience in protest of a potential Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage.

Scarborough told WorldNetDaily in an interview yesterday that once gay marriage becomes the law of the land, there will be mass arrests of Christians, even though such an event has never taken place in the dozens of states where gay marriage is legal. The government “better have a lot of prisons and jails,” Scarborough said, if they dare to legalize same-sex marriage.

He added that members of Congress “are lining up to sign the document” pledging to go to jail rather than recognize a Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage.

Back in 2009, Scarborough similarly warned that Christians would be hauled off to jail after a gay-inclusive federal hate crimes law was signed into law, which obviously didn’t happen.

A team of prominent Christian leaders is preparing a statement that will inform the public – including justices on the U.S. Supreme Court – that they will engage in civil disobedience rather than follow a ruling that establishes homosexual “marriage” in the United States.

Among those leading the charge is James Dobson of Family Talk Radio, Rick Scarborough of Vision America Action, Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel and James Robison of Life Today, whose brand new publication called The Stream reported on a recent telephone conference call discussing the issue.

Stream Executive Editor Jay Richards told WND there were about 20 other Christian leaders on the call. He said members of Congress have expressed an interest in the plan, which will be disclosed in the next few days in a statement regarding marriage and the U.S. Supreme Court.

However, Scarborough wasted no time in an interview with WND explaining what is, and is not, going to happen.

“We’re taking a very adamant stand,” he said. “If the court declares same-sex ‘marriage’ to be on the same par as a civil right, that’s a bridge too far. We won’t obey. We’ll go to jail.”

Scarborough confirmed congressmen “are lining up to sign the document.”

“The undeniable case is that when same-sex “marriage’ becomes, declared by the Supreme Court, as the law of the land, they will begin to enforce it, like all civil rights laws.”

That is where the civil disobedience will loom large.

“We’re saying, before that, we will never obey that tyrannical law. It’s counter to natural law, and God’s higher law.

“We will simply refuse to comply with recognizing same-sex ‘marriage’ as legitimate,” he said. “The Supreme Court does not have the inherent right [to make that change]. We’ll going to continue doing what we’ve always done.”

He said the hope is that thousands of churches and millions of Americans will join.

Those who plan to use the power of federal law enforcement to enforce same-sex marriage, he said, “better have a lot of prisons and jails.”

James Robison: When Conservative Christians Take Control Of Government, 'Oh, The Demons Shudder!'

On his "Life Today" program this morning, James Robison interviewed Todd Starnes about his recent book "God Less America" and the two agreed that if conservative Christians in America could simply come together, they could save this nation by voting every member of Congress out of office and make "the demons shudder!"

"This is the thing you’ve got to understand as a Christian," Robison said. "In a democracy where the majority rules and where we're the ones who choose, then those we choose reflect the heart conscious and convictions of those who vote or who don't vote. Too many Christians have checked out. You've been told it's politically incorrect for church people to be involved. That's one of the biggest lies that ever came through the lips of Satan. Do not believe it! Of all people on this earth that ought to stand up and protect the precious and be light to illuminate the way out of this present and pressing darkness, we're the ones to do it."

"Hey, government, we can take control," he continued. "There are only 500 of you. We can get rid of the whole bunch in one smooth swoop and we can really reroute the whole ship! ... All hell is trembling — the gates of hell tremble. The very fact that people who love God and know God and love their neighbor, whatever stand up, speak up, and become a shining city set on a hill, oh, the demons shudder!"

James Robison Thinks His New Religious Right Website Could Become 'The Number One, Most Visited' Site Of All Time

Earlier this month, televangelist James Robison launched a new website called "The Stream," which seeks to be a one-stop outlet for covering all today's major issues from God's perspective:

This is my vision for The Stream, a national daily where those concerned about our nation’s perilous course can gather for news, wisdom and inspiration, and not feel as if faith must exist only on the margins. We’ll have a God page, but really every page on The Stream is God’s. The Psalm reminds us that “the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof,” and this is why you will find The Stream covering and commenting on everything from breaking news and entertainment to family issues, religion stories and the great outdoors. It’s all God’s, and The Stream will wind through it all.

So far, the website is little more than a bevy of already-published news and commentary pieces simply collected in one place, but Robison has had big hopes for his new venture right from the very start, telling Matthew Hagee on yesterday's "Hagee Hotline" that it is poised to become the most popular website in the history of the internet.

Though the website has been active for just over a week, Robison said that "it's amazing where we are out of the gate and the response has been overwhelming. This could become the number one, most visited news site and website perhaps of all time."

"The Stream will enlighten, inform, excite and bring people together to stand against the forces of evil," he promised:

Mike Huckabee Plans To Run For President To Fight The Secular Theocracy

Mike Huckabee was the guest again this morning on James Robison's "Life Today" television program, where he declared that he is thinking about running for president in order to fight what Robison called the "secular theocracy" that is destroying Christian liberty in America.

"We've divorced ourselves from an understanding that we cannot survive as a republic if we do not become once again a God-centered nation that understands that our laws do not come from man, they come from God," Huckabee said. "It is the natural law of God."

After insisting that he is not intending to create a theocracy, Robison piped up to declare that "we have a theocracy right now; it is a secular theocracy" and Huckabee readily agreed.

"That's it!" Huckabee said. "It is a humanistic, secular, atheistic, and even antagonistic toward Christian faith, and that's what we need to understand. Our basic fundamental rights are being robbed from us, taken from us piece by piece."

Later, Huckabee asked for the audience to pray that God's hand will be upon him as he decides whether to run for president.

"The only thing worse than not being elected president would be to be elected president without God's blessing," he said. "I can't think of a worse place in the world to be than in the Oval Office without God's hand upon you. I'd rather not get near the place."

Mike Huckabee: Support The Fair Tax Because 'Giving Proportionately Is Biblical'

Mike Huckabee was the guest on James Robison's "Life Today" television program this morning, promoting his new book "God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy," which seems to be focused on defending "real America" from all those phonies and snobby elitists who live in New York, Washington, D.C., and Hollywood.

After lamenting that America is no longer a place where women who use profanity are considered to be "trash," Huckabee made his case for the "fair tax," which is a proposal to scrap all federal taxes and replace them with a 30% tax on consumption, because that is what is biblical.

"I believe in the biblical understanding of stewardship," Huckabee said. "Everybody should have something invested. God doesn't say, 'Oh, you're too poor, don't give anything.' He says, 'Everyone give a tithe.' ... I'm telling you something, giving proportionately is biblical."

Huckabee added that an additional bonus of the fair tax is that "we would get rid of the I.R.S.."

"They would be gone," he said. "Done forever and forever!"

  • Liberty Counsel does not approve of Washington, D.C.'s ban on "ex-gay" therapy: "This vote will have a severe impact on religious liberty in our nation’s capital ... The law will trample the First Amendment rights of counselors to provide, and patients to receive, counseling consistent with their religious beliefs."
  • Newt Gingrich freaks out because President Obama is apparently on the verge of becoming a dictator.
  • Peter LaBarbera has an important announcement.

'God Is Not Done With America': Ted Cruz Rallies Religious Right Voters To Save The Nation

For the last two days, Sen. Ted Cruz has been the guest on "Life Today," telling host James Robison that it is vitally important for Christians to vote so that America can continue to enjoy God's blessings.

On yesterday's program, the Texas Republican declared that Christians are required by Scripture to vote and cast their votes based on biblical values. After praising his father's efforts to mobilize right-wing pastors and get them involved in politics, Cruz said that Christians could fundamentally reshape this nation is they simply voted according to the Bible.

"Can you imagine how different our country would be if an additional 70 million Evangelical Christians simply showed up and voted biblical values?" Cruz asked. "We would be on a fundamentally different path":

On today's program, Cruz wholeheartedly agreed with Robison's assertion that the Founding Fathers "were under some kind of powerful umbrella of divine providence influence" when they created this nation.

"From the founding of our country, America has enjoyed God's providential blessing at every stage," Cruz said. "When the Declaration and Constitution were drafted, they were drafted on the knees of the Founding Fathers through prayer."

"I'm convinced," he continued, that "God is not done with America. That his blessings are still on this nation, and that the American people when the challenges are great, rise to the occasion":

Rodriguez: Christians Must Vote Because 'Today's Complacency Is Tomorrow's Captivity'

Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, was a guest on James Robison's "Life Today" program this morning, where he called upon Christians to vote according to "what the Word of God says" because there is a movement at work that seeks "to silence Christians in America."

Rodriguez warned that Christians cannot afford to sit out this election because "today's complacency is tomorrow's captivity" and just as Christians in other countries are being killed by terrorists, so too are Christians in America being silenced by those who promote "moral relativism and cultural decadence."

"There is an attempt, believe it or not, to silence Christians in America," he said. "There is a war against our Judeo-Christian value system. And we speak against terrorist groups that are doing so many horrific things to our brothers and sisters in Christ and other religious minorities around the world but in our own nation, from a political standpoint, from a legislative standpoint or a public policy standpoint there is an attempt to silence Christendom. There is an attempt!"

Isn’t it obvious, isn’t this revelation enough, that the poison 'fruit' of homosexual advocacy is ripening in today’s America, revealing lies and oppression, and it stinks to high heaven?"
