Hutcherson: 'Homosexual Lobby' Is Trying 'To Turn Dr. King into a Queen'

Religious Right and ex-gay groups are up in arms that Washington D.C. mayor Vincent Gray revoked an invitation to gospel singer Donnie McClurkin, who claims that he was “delivered” from homosexuality, to perform at an event commemorating the “March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.” McClurkin has called homosexuality a “perversion” and a “curse,” scolded “evil young hard butch girls,” and described gay men as “vampires” and “vultures” who “prey” on children.

McClurkin and his defenders claim that his heterosexualization, not his anti-gay remarks, got him booted from the event. The ex-gay group PFOX hailed McClurkin as a victim of anti-ex-gay discrimination. “Gays have more power than blacks in [Washington D.C.],” PFOX charged. “As shown with Donnie McClurkin, ex-gays are the most powerless and discriminated against minority in America today.”

Pastor Ken Hutcherson in WorldNetDaily even argued that if “it were up to Mayor Gray, Dr. King wouldn’t even be invited to this event.”

“Unless you’re living a homosexual lifestyle yourself, you aren’t important anymore,” Hutcherson writes. “Maybe Mayor Gray is too spineless to stand up to a homosexual lobby that limits free speech, bullies straights and tries everything it can to turn Dr. King into a queen.”

Of course, the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom was organized by a gay man.

Apparently the mayor of Washington, D.C., Vincent Gray, has forgotten his city’s history. When Gray was 20 years old, a Baptist minister by the name of Martin Luther King Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial before 250,000 people and delivered what is considered by many to be the most eloquent speech in our nation’s history. The message by this gifted orator was simple: He had a dream. And that dream was the insatiable hope that one day people would learn to look past a person’s skin color and see them for who they were on the inside.

But now that dream has been elasticized. It’s been rewritten and modified. That dream is no longer about ethnic equality; it’s broadened to include anything from sexual orientation to fighting for the rights of illegal immigrants. In short, King’s speech apparently had a few extra pages that he was even unaware of.

You see, in the politically correct times in which we live, sexual orientation trumps everything.

My fellow brothers and sisters with darker pigmentation, please hear me carefully. We are no longer a minority. The liberals have no use for us because they know most of us will pull the electoral lever for them every time. We are taken for granted. Unless you’re living a homosexual lifestyle yourself, you aren’t important anymore. Mayor Gray’s decision to ban a black gospel singer proves that civil rights have turned uncivilized. Let’s be honest: If it were up to Mayor Gray, Dr. King wouldn’t even be invited to this event.

Is this the new face of the black community? Is gray the new black?

Look, maybe Mayor Gray is senile and his memory has faded in the past 50 years. Maybe he’s had a lot on his mind because he’s under investigation for a campaign finance scandal. Heck, maybe the mayor is on the down-low himself. Or maybe the ban on McClurkin is simpler than all of those things: Maybe Mayor Gray is too spineless to stand up to a homosexual lobby that limits free speech, bullies straights and tries everything it can to turn Dr. King into a queen.

Hutcherson: Anti-Gay Activists Cost Microsoft Tens of Millions, Possibly Billions, of Dollars

Last year, Religious Right activists believed — without any evidence — that their boycott campaign against Starbucks over the company’s endorsement of marriage equality cost Starbucks billions. Ken Hutcherson, the Washington-based anti-gay activist and the favorite pastor of conservative leaders like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, seems to be under the impression that he dealt similar damage to Microsoft as part of his protest of the company’s pro-gay rights positions.

While speaking to a Tea Party Unity conference call, Hutcherson said that he led a mass-selloff of Microsoft stock on March 15 as a demonstration against the company’s stand for equality that cost the company tens of millions, if not billions, of dollars.

“I had Christians buying stock in Microsoft and they gave me one share and they kept the rest of their shares and gave me their proxy to go to the meetings here in Seattle and say that as stockholders we do not like the way you’re going down in our country, in our state, trying to change the laws and to push the homosexuality as a minority group,” Hutchreson explained. “I said if you guys don’t back off I’m gonna sell my stock and I’m gonna have everyone that bought sell stock; they laughed, they pooh-poohed me and they thought I was nuts so I said, alright just wait and see.”

He said that “there was a selloff of stock on March 15, $30 million in one day Microsoft lost and they have not recovered yet, someone told me the difference was $30 billion and I never can confirm that because they won’t allow that to come out.”

That would be pretty impressive if it were true.

Check a timeline of Microsoft stock for yourself.

Hutchreson started the campaign in 2008 and said he led the selloff campaign three years later.

On March 11, 2011, stock was valued at 25.68; on March 18 it was valued at 24.80. By March 25, the price was 25.62.

Today, the stock is valued at 32.43.

Hutcherson: Homosexuality 'Destroyed Every Civilization It Has Touched'

Ken Hutcherson is very angry that a fellow Christian Post contributor, Dave Thompson, lauded Jason Collins for coming out and is lamenting that many church leaders “have denied the grace of Christ for gay couples.” Hutcherson, who said that Satan was behind Collins’ decision to come out as gay, criticized Thompson for having “stated that Jason Collins is brave.”

“Your defense of homosexuality is without merit because it has destroyed every civilization it has touched and that is shameful,” Hutcherson writes, “Like gambling, porn, alcohol and drug abuse, and sex addition, homosexuality destroys the family like nothing else, and eventually the soul that God turns over to a reprobate mind.”

Your defense of homosexuality is without merit because it has destroyed every civilization it has touched and that is shameful. Let's stop with the rhetoric and speak in the truest sense of love, and that is what I am about to do.

Like gambling, porn, alcohol and drug abuse, and sex addition, homosexuality destroys the family like nothing else, and eventually the soul that God turns over to a reprobate mind. (Romans 1: 24-30)

Mr. Thompson, in your desperation to justify this sin of 'choice,' you have stated that Jason Collins is brave and you commended him for his stand. You have also stated many conservative pastors agree with you.

Oh please, as we say in Alabama, do you think I fell off the turnip truck to believe such a ludicrous statement? Sir I may have been born at night, but not last night. …

Those who have no concern for his salvation are exploiting Jason Collins. I would be the first person to invite Jason to our church, because we would not condemn him, but love him in the truest sense, being followers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And yes, we would help him to understand the true love of Jesus Christ, and not the false hope you would give to him.

Hutcherson: Satan Behind Obama's Planned Parenthood Speech and Jason Collins Coming Out

Writing for the Christian Post today, Washington state pastor and anti-gay activist Ken Hutcherson said it was no coincidence that Jason Collins came out just days following President Obama’s speech to Planned Parenthood, contending that both incidents were satanically inspired as they will further “evil” and “both go directly against God's Holy Word.”

“The enemy has impeccable timing,” Hutcherson writes, claiming that Satan is using President Obama’s pro-choice policies and the “gay agenda” to persecute Christians.

According to Hutcherson, Obama’s speech was no different than an endorsement of Adolf Hitler or Pol Pot, while “Collins is being used as a pawn, in the most dangerous game of Russian roulette for his soul.”

God’s moral line “has been crossed, and once again Obama has done nothing,” Hutcherson maintains. “Planned Parenthood and their poster child, Dr. Kermit Gosnell, long ago crossed the line, exactly like those going public with their sexual preference.”

Last Friday, April 26th, President Obama became the first sitting president to speak at the National Planned Parenthood Conference. Not only did he speak at this event, but he invoked God's blessing upon them! No president in our history has had the arrogance to openly endorse the slaughter of our unborn, and atrocities against women. Would the American people have ever endorsed the likes of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Emperor Hirohito, or other mass-murderers as this President has done? And let me mention another genocidal maniac: Dr. Kermit Gosnell of Philadelphia, who 'surprisingly' was not mentioned by the President during his speech, despite working under the policy of Planned Parenthood.

In other news, do any of you believe there is a connection between the Boston Celtic NBA basketball player, Jason Collins, announcing he is gay only 72 hours after President Obama's speech to Planned Parenthood? The answer is a resounding YES! More proof that Christian views are very much under attack! The enemy has impeccable timing.

Collins is being used as a pawn, in the most dangerous game of Russian roulette for his soul. Have you ever noticed that those who support the gay agenda don't like Christians in sports, entertainment, or media? They really don't like us anywhere at all. Let's take Tim Tebow as a classic example. Tebow was asked to keep his beliefs quietly to himself, while Collins is celebrated for the 'heroism' displayed for exposing his off-court activities.

Professional sports teams are now in very serious jeopardy, due in part to the abuse of the word "tolerance". But really, who is intolerant now? Players may not agree or like having a gay teammate, but they will be so intimidated that they may not say anything. If they do say something based on their moral or biblical beliefs, THEY will be the ones disciplined or kicked off the team. Ask Chris Broussard of ESPN. He simply stated homosexuality (along with other acts) is a sin; the way he was attacked, you would have thought he was the spawn of Satan himself.

I can't imagine that Collins, standing in the shower after a game, and knowing the vast majority of his teammates are not gay, will go over very well. How about the players standing in the shower with him, knowing that one of their teammates likes other men? Just saying…

This will have the most negative impact on not only the individual teams, but also on the individuals themselves.

The connection between these two stories should be very obvious: they both go directly against God's Holy Word. After all, God hates hands that shed innocent blood (Prov.617) and is sickened by sodomy (Rom.1:24-27). Unfortunately, our President has chosen to commend rather than condemn these things. These two situations are critically dangerous to our society. Why is the United States of America, and many within the church today, putting God to the test? This is far worse than playing with fire. Last year, President Obama announced that he was drawing a 'red line' in the sand against Syria in regards to them using chemical weapons against the Syrian people. That line has been crossed, and once again Obama has done nothing. Planned Parenthood and their poster child, Dr. Kermit Gosnell, long ago crossed the line, exactly like those going public with their sexual preference.

So, like our administration, are we going to sit idle and do nothing?

Would any previous President of the United States have toasted Adolf Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, or King Herod?, or the organization Of course not. Then why do we tolerate it when the media intentionally overlooks the work of Kermit Gosnell? God is watching us my friends. We need to unite now! It's time for us to draw our own line in the sand, sending a clear message to all who would listen. That message is, we are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, and this is our country. We won't let it be destroyed by a handful of anti-Christian people. So, if you're weary of a government that funds infanticide, that champions sodomy, that calls good "evil" and evil "good", then let's work together to change things around here. Let's do something together that we can't do separately. Let's see how God wants to use us to change our country as we lock arms together. If you want to be part of this movement, join the Black Robe Brigade here. Let's move, Black Robe Brigade, and watch God do awesome things.

They now wish to impose the very same deficits on the next generation of children, and then to declare this arrangement 'healthy.'"

Hutcherson: 'God is Going to Really Turn Loose Judgment on us' over Gay Rights

Peter LaBarbera and John Kirkwood hosted fellow anti-gay activist Ken Hutcherson on Americans For Truth About Homosexuality Radio Hour to criticize Rick Warren over his interviews with Piers Morgan and Marc Lamont Hill. The three even agreed that Warren should not be giving money to organizations doing HIV/AIDS work that don’t condemn homosexuality because, according to Kirkwoood, it puts Warren “in fellowship with darkness.” They encouraged Warren to donate to ex-gay groups instead, but not Exodus International because they’re not anti-gay enough.

Kirkwood: Rick Warren went on to say how many millions of dollars he’s given to the cause of HIV/AIDS and how he’s worked closely with gay organizations on that. My comment on that is you could give millions of dollars for that cause without having to be unequally yoked and be in fellowship with darkness, without having to work with organizations that openly boast about their sexual perversion.

Hutcherson: There are so many organizations out there, Exodus International, I don’t know if they are continuing to hold on to their strong point but he could’ve given millions of dollars at the time to Exodus International.

LaBarbera: Well we wouldn’t support that now because they are starting to slide. John makes a good point, even a lot of AIDS groups, it’s like the point of faith, it’s not really faith of course, is pro-homosexuality.

Kirkwood: I think he was trying to establish his street cred with homosexuals because then he came out and said, ‘I have many, many homosexual friends.’ Marc Lamont Hill said, ‘I get the love part about AIDS but what about this’?

Hutcherson: I think the correct statement would be one that we make: we’re friends with many, many ex-homosexuals. That should be the statement because homosexuals are not going to stay around me if they don’t want to change.

Hutcherson said that if evangelical leaders like Warren and Americans do not begin to denounce homosexuality more fervently then God is going to get “sick and tired of America” and “really turn loose judgment on us.” LaBarbera added that Morgan is “obsessed” with homosexuality and that it is a religious “sacrament” to him, and Hutcherson explained that Morgan and others “promote homosexuality” and seek to “destroy God’s plan.”

Hutcherson: God does not have the same consequence for the same sin, bro. We’ve got to understand that as Christians and we better wake up soon because I think that one of the things God is showing us is that He’s getting a little sick and tired of America, he’s definitely having a holy throw up fest with his bride, we need to really stand back up and get this unity going or God is going to really turn loose judgment on us.

LaBarbera: You can tell what Piers Morgan’s religion is and one of the sacraments is homosexuality, I mean he is obsessed.

Hutcherson: Secularism. They know that if you really want to destroy God’s plan, promote homosexuality.

LaBarbera: Why is that?

Hutcherson: Because that is the sin that God says when you’ve turned a man over to his own lust, there is no hope.

Hutcherson warned that not only is God’s judgment coming but also that the Republic may collapse if the Republicans begin to abandon their anti-gay views, which Kirkwood likened to Republicans in the mid-1800s deserting their strong stance against slavery in order to win Southern votes.

Kirkwood: Ronald Reagan spoke about the three-legged stool and one of those legs was the social—pro-life, and back then it wasn’t even an issue the same-sex marriage thing—but if we abandon that leg of the stool we are no longer the Republican Party, we’d be the Whig Party again. The Republican Party was born on principle, the principle that all men are created equal. Yeah we could have picked up a lot more Southern votes if we didn’t believe that way when we were founded but if we start to believe that way now to prostitute ourselves for votes, they’re going to lose thirty percent of the Republican Party.

Hutcherson: What you’ve got to understand is it’s not just that we’re losing the Republican Party when you eliminate those legs, we’re losing America bro. If you cannot have a moral backing for our Republic, our Republic cannot stand.

Ken Hutcherson is 'Sick and Tired of the Homosexuals Taking Words that God has Given Us'

Pastor Kenneth Hutcherson is blaming leading conservative groups for sidelining him in the unsuccessful campaign to overturn Washington state’s marriage equality, and while speaking to Sandy Rios and Fred Jackson of the American Family Association said that churches who aren’t involved in anti-gay campaigns are “an abomination to God.” Hutcherson also reassured Rios, who predicted that Obama will “bring in gay marriage nationally” and “human misery,” not to feel discouraged and to remember that he is the “gayest guy you know.” “I am sick and tired of the homosexuals taking words that God has given us, I am sick and tired of the homosexual community taking our rainbow,” he said, calling on the “evangeli-fish” in the Religious Right to stop being “irrelevant” and “sissified” in the culture wars.

Rios: Dr. Hutcherson, I know that it’s hard for all of us to fight human discouragement, how could we not be, you know four defeats on the marriage amendments and all the other propositions, plus we know that another Barack Obama four years I think is going to bring in gay marriage nationally and so many other things, huge debt, I think we’re going to see human misery. From a spiritual standpoint, Christians are going to suffer some real persecution, I think. So this human discouragement, there’s human reality that we have to face, but speak to us if you will as a pastor, are you there yet? Are you still filled with discouragement this morning? Are you there yet? Are you ready to speak to us as a pastor?

Hutcherson: I think the first thing we are going to have to do to really be discouraged is to speak to the church. I have been preaching and pushing and talking unity till I am blue in the face and you guys know how black I am in the face. I have continued to look that God is still on the throne, this is not a man’s decision in these elections, there is no way in the world that we should have had the votes that we had. So I am praying that we really get in the face of the church, really get in the face of the conservative leaders, really get in the face of churches. We have major churches out here that did not stand up, did not even raise a finger to defeat this whole thing on same-sex marriage and that is just an abomination to God.

Hutcherson: Don’t forget guys, when you think about pastor Hutcherson out here, think about the gayest guy you know, I am sick and tired of the homosexuals taking words that God has given us, I am sick and tired of the homosexual community taking our rainbow when God gave us that promise that He would not destroy the earth with water again. We have just become irrelevant, we are just sissified, we are evangeli-fish with no spiritual vertebrae and we need to wake up.

Anti-Gay Activists Slam Obama for 'Doing the Devil's Work' on Marriage Equality

The outcry from the Religious Right over President Obama’s endorsement of legalizing same-sex marriage continues, with the American Civil Rights Union’s Robert Knight attackig Obama for trying “to invoke Christ when doing the devil’s work” and creating “the sinews of tyranny”:

After having done everything in his power to undermine marriage, President Obama has come out of the closet, so to speak, with his announcement that he’s now for brideless or groomless “marriage.” But he didn’t come out alone. He brought Jesus with him, citing Christ as his inspiration for directly attacking God’s moral order. It’s one thing to be a hypocrite, which Mr. Obama has been for years. Since he began pretending to oppose the redefinition of marriage but refusing to defend the federal Defense of Marriage Act while homosexualizing the military. It’s quite another thing, however, to invoke Christ when doing the devil’s work.

Forget the voters. Mr. Obama’s going to have to answer to God for this one. Wednesday’s announcement even might sober up the people who voted for Mr. Obama simply to show that America has overcome racial division. Someone should survey pastors who support Mr. Obama and ask: Which is more important - electing a man on the basis of race or upholding the integrity of the faith and what the Scriptures say about marriage? Citing Genesis 2:24, Jesus said in Matthew 19:5: “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”

This actually is about much more than marriage. It’s about truth. Mr. Obama is asking us to put into law a requirement for us to recognize as a marriage something that is not a marriage. When you do that, you create the sinews of tyranny, which stretch out to strangle freedom of speech, freedom of association and, eventually, freedom of religion. The virtue of tolerance is strangled, too, morphing into the vice of mandatory celebration.

With this wicked move, Mr. Obama is insisting that we bow down and worship the false idol of sexual anarchy. That’s what his wealthy supporters in Hollywood demand. On Thursday, they ponied up a reported $15 million to his campaign at George Clooney’s pool party. When you accord more respect to liberal film stars and gay billionaires than you do to the Creator of the universe, you’re not leaving much doubt about what you really worship.

Jerry Newcombe of Truth in Action Ministries said that Obama’s announcement is “another nail in the coffin of the American Family”:

With this statement, America’s self-proclaimed Christian leader has professed a clearly non-biblical belief that further weakens the moral fiber of our nation. “This could be another nail in the coffin of the American Family, if we don’t stand up now” says Jerry Newcombe, spokesman for Truth in Action Ministries. “Same sex marriage is wrong on many fronts—especially by codifying immorality into law. Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the president’s position is to put the government’s sanction on something God has clearly revealed to be sin. Thankfully thousands of homosexuals have been freed from their sin through the power of Christ and continue to be freed every day.”

Christians in America must speak the truth on this issue— before it’s too late. Please help us make a difference. We, as God’s people, must speak out against anything that contradicts His Word — including the radical homosexual agenda. We must oppose it now — or apologize, in the years to come, to the children and grandchildren whom we have left to be its victims.

Ken Hutcherson reaffirmed his pledge to the Christian Post to “take back” the word “gay”:

"The most important thing is that there is no way in the world that I would vote for, regardless who it is, regardless how white they are, regardless how black they are, there is just no way I am ever going to vote for someone who believes in same-sex marriage and abortion," Hutcherson said in an interview with The Christian Post on Thursday.

"God hates the killing of innocent life, and God hates divorce, and God hates the whole effeminate aspect of man going after man or woman going after woman. You can't get around that – it's in the Bible. And what we need to understand as Christians, is that this is America. We stand on our biblical views regardless," he noted.

"We have given up so much territory; we are confused about how to take things back. Just like the word 'gay.' I am not homosexual, but I am gay – I am happy. And we've lost that word – we've given it up. We need to take back the rainbow, and we need to take back the word of God," the pastor concluded.

Anti-Gay Pastor Calls Himself the 'Gayest Guy I Know'

Washington state pastor Ken Hutcherson, who is working with the National Organization for Marriage to repeal his state’s marriage equality law, recently embarked on a campaign to “take back the rainbow” from the gay community. Now, Hutcherson even wants pastors to “come out of the closet” and “shout loud and proud, ‘We are gay!’” As Hutcherson explained in an interview with the Christian Post, it is all part of an effort to retake “hijacked” words, arguing that the word “gay” is inappropriate to describe homosexuals like Dan Savage because there is “nothing gay” about them:

But the fact is, Hutcherson is not a homosexual, nor does the happily married man have a same-sex attraction of any kind. He is however, on a mission to take back words, phrases and symbols he believes groups, such as homosexuals and other liberal organizations have "hijacked" from the American lexicon.

"Seriously, I am the gayest guy I know," Hutcherson reiterated in an interview with The Christian Post.

"My frustration is that some groups have taken words and symbols away from the Church and from society in general. When I say I'm 'gay,' what I mean is that I am happy, that I am joyful and that I love people. That is precisely what a Christian ought to be so in my opinion we just need to be as gay as we can."

"Dan Savage (a pro-gay activist) says he is gay. He's not gay, not anywhere close. Yeah, he may be a homosexual but he certainly doesn't appear to be happy or joyful when he stands up in front of a classroom and uses profane language. Nope, nothing gay about that."

Ken Hutcherson: Anti-Gay Activists Must 'Take Back the Rainbow'

Jennifer Roback Morse of the National Organization for Marriage isn’t the only anti-gay activist seeking to take the symbol of the rainbow back from the “gay lobby,” as Washington state pastor and NOM-ally Kenneth Hutcherson, who is working to overturn the state’s marriage equality law, writes today in WorldNetDaily that it is time to “take back the rainbow for God” and let “the homosexual community find a different religious symbol to commandeer.”

How did we get here? Just when was this symbol liquidated of its meaning? When was the sign pointing to God’s promise intentionally co-opted to point to a certain lifestyle choice? Let’s just say that the homosexual movement has been busy over the last couple of decades and that many of these changes have taken place without so much as a peep from the larger Christian community. Rome’s burning; Nero’s fiddling; and Christians are taking a well-deserved nap.

Yes, let’s take back the rainbow for God. Let the homosexual community find a different religious symbol to commandeer. If they were feeling congenial, perhaps the Muslims would let them borrow their crescent moon. In these desperate economic times, maybe the Wiccans would rent the pentagram to them. I don’t really care. What I want is for the Christian community to wake up, wipe the sleep from their eyes, and realize that they are in a spiritual battle that isn’t going away and has no demilitarized zones. The rainbow is a symbol, but it’s meaning points to the very character of God. So Christians …use this God-given symbol for His glory. Using it won’t make you a homosexual. It won’t make you a New Ager. It won’t make leprechauns real. But it might allow you to get into conversations with people who need to meet the very One Who gave us His promise in the first place.
