Paranoia-Rama: Immigrant Child Warriors, Gay Recruitment, And Obama's Race War

RWW’s Paranoia-Rama takes a look at five of the week’s most absurd conspiracy theories from the Right.

If President Obama is starting a race war, he will probably use his army of child migrants, gay public school students and “Muslim brothers” to join the fight. None of that will matter, of course, if Ebola sweeps across America first.

5. Child Migrants Bringing In Ebola, Probably

With Republican members of Congress including Michele Bachmann, Phil Gingrey and Todd Rokita warning that the unaccompanied minors crossing the southern border could unleash the Ebola virus on America, we shouldn’t be surprised that at least one GOP candidate for Congress is also stirring up baseless fears about immigrant children carrying Ebola.

Arizona House Speaker Andy Tobin, who is seeking the GOP nomination to challenge Democratic Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, said people wouldn’t be surprised if Central American child migrants are infected with Ebola. Tucson Weekly reports:

Tobin says he's hearing about worries from constituents that the recent wave of undocumented youth from Central America could cause an Ebola outbreak in the United States.

"Anything's now possible," Tobin said last week. "So if you were to say the Ebola virus has now entered (the country), I don't think anyone would be surprised."

Tobin acknowledged that Ebola has been limited to outbreaks in Africa, "to the extent that they're really aware of that. I think there is a reason we should be concerned about it and say, 'Hey, can you assure us the people crossing the border are not from the Middle East?' ... So I use that as an example, that the public would not be surprised to hear about the next calamity at the border."

4. Child Migrants Might Be Anti-American Warriors

If the Central American child migrants aren’t already dead from Ebola, then that means they are probably Venezuelan-trained child “warriors” who will “rise up against us as Americans” any day now. At least that is what we learned from an extremely informative and not-at-all speculative conversation between RNC Committeewoman Tamara Scott, who is also Concerned Women for America’s Iowa state director, and Texas Tea Party activist Mary Huls:

Alex Jones and William Gheen also wondered if the minors are really child soldiers who will kill Americans for “Obamaphones.”

3. Obama Wants A Race War!

Are President Obama and administration officials like Eric Holder using the Ferguson riots to launch a race war? Of course! At least that is what is occurring in the far-right fantasy land inhabited by Larry Klayman, who is warning that “the racist Obama and his henchmen like Eric Holder have succeeded in creating what in effect is a huge racial divide and race war in the nation.”

“[O]ur so-called president and his attorney general jump to judgment, on a consistent and regular basis, against ‘whitey’ and in favor of their black brothers,” Klayman said. “At this rate, it is remarkable that Obama has not renamed the White House ‘the Black House.’”

Ted Nugent agrees, arguing this week that “President Obama continues to beat the race drum” because he hopes “fanning the embers of racism will keep black Americans squarely in the corner of their big daddy Democratic Party.” Wayne Allyn Root added, “Obama needs ‘division.’ Race warfare. Class warfare. Anger. Resentment. Civil war.”

2. Obama’s ‘Muslim Brothers’ Crafting U.S. Foreign Policy

Rep. Louie Gohmert is pretty sure that the Muslim Brotherhood is running the show in the Obama administration and has used its influence to boost extremist groups like ISIS. “If you’re commander-in-chief you can’t be listening to Muslim brother advise on when it’s time to stop destroying Muslim brothers,” the Texas GOP congressman said in an interview this week.

Gohmert’s House colleague Trent Franks, an Arizona Republican who thinks Obama might just be a secret Muslim, said that with the Bowe Berghdal swap, the Obama administration sent “a signal to the whole jihadist world” to kidnap Americans like James Foley.

“I’m afraid we sent the message to the terrorists, again, that this president will vacillate and not do what is necessary in times of crisis,” Franks said.

1. Gays Coming To Recruit Kids

Schools are using Common Core to brainwash your kids and turn them gay, according to the Tea Party of Louisiana, which proudly cited a satirical article from a parody news site titled “Common Core Turns First Wave Of Students Gay” to make its case.

When a reporter for the Times-Picayune asked the Tea Party group’s spokesman Bob Reid why his organization decided to cite an article from an outlet whose “About” page reads, “If you believe any of the shit you read here you are a freaking moron,” he responded that he was simply trying to “bring attention of the Common Core issue to those who maybe aren't paying attention.”

The American Family Association is  also worried about “recruitment programs” in public schools that are led by gay rights advocates who are “seeking to draw susceptible students into their ranks.” Randy Thomasson of Save California, for his part, said schools are pressuring children to participate in a “perverse, unnatural, unbiblical, unhealthy, tyrannical sexual agenda.”

Randy Thomasson Claims LGBT-Inclusive Schools Make Students 'Enemies of God'

On VCY America’s “Crosstalk” radio program yesterday, Randy Thomasson of Save California talked to host Jim Schneider about the alleged persecution of Christians at the hands of “radical” LGBT-affirming public school officials.

Thomasson said that students and families have become the victims of a “perverse, unnatural, unbiblical, unhealthy, tyrannical sexual agenda” advanced by the state government and LGBT rights advocates who seek to eliminate free speech and religious liberties.

After claiming that sex-ed curricula ignore health risks because such information would be considered “discriminatory or adverse,” Thomasson speculated that such negligence would open up the door to “liability lawsuits” against the government from parents of children who contracted sexually transmitted diseases.

“Michelle Obama wants to make sure every child has a stalk of broccoli and an apple on their plate, because we have to look out for the well-being of that child,” Schneider said. “But when we talk about the serious health consequences when children violate the laws of nature, there is no concern with this administration.”

Thomasson expressed concern that anti-discrimination policies “trampled” on the rights of Christian students and educators, whom he believes should not be punished for being “naturally revolted” against “perverse sexuality.” He urged parents to remove their children from public schools in favor of homeschooling and biblically-approved alternatives before state laws are able to turn students “into enemies of God and enemies of their own family."

John Fleming: Obama Dividing Americans By Race 'Just To Have Political Power'

Rep. John Fleming appeared on Friday’s edition of “The Janet Mefferd Show,” where he warned that immigrants are refusing to integrate into American culture and becoming “dependents on our entitlement system.”

The Louisiana Republican spoke with guest host Randy Thomasson, the head of Save California, echoed recent remarks by his Republican colleague Mo Brooks about how Obama and Democrats are fomenting racial animosity: “Our president promised that there wouldn’t be such things as black Americans and white Americans, just Americans, but his policies have actually divided us and multi-divided us in so many ways just to have political power.”

Randy Thomasson Says Marriage Equality Is 'A Form Of Slavery'

Filling in for right-wing talk show host Janet Mefferd on Friday, Randy Thomasson of Save California warned that marriage equality laws amount to slavery and totalitarianism.

“It’s tyranny, it’s intolerance, it’s attack, it’s a form of slavery even, that you cannot even have freedom, the freedom of speech, the freedom of religion, and this is leading away from mere opposition to oppression with coming persecution,” Thomasson said.

Thomasson also interviewed Americans For Truth About Homosexuality’s Peter LaBarbera and introduced him by comparing transgender people to people who believe they are actually horses.

  • It was "Mock Obama Day" on Glenn Beck's radio program.  It was "uproarious."
  • "Karl Rove is a scaredy-cat."
  • John Hagee has apparently dropped his opposition to San Antonio's proposed anti-discrimination ordinance.
  • Randy Thomasson declares that "Jerry Brown and the Democrats have targeted every kid in public school with gender-bending brainwashing. Fortunately, parents can protect their children from the insanity of biological boys in girls' restrooms and girls' showers and biological girls in boys' restrooms and boys' showers by exiting the dysfunctional, immoral public schools for homeschooling and solid church schools."
  • Finally, we wonder what WND's Joseph Farah thinks about the plagiarism practiced by his good friend Chuck Missler.

Randy Thomasson: Gay Rights Ushering in Civil War

Save California’s Randy Thomason on Friday appeared on Istook Live, the Heritage Foundation radio program hosted by former Republican congressman Ernest Istook, to discuss the Supreme Court case on Proposition 8.

He accused the California state officials who refused to defend Prop 8 of “dissing God” and went on to warn that “usurpers of the United States Constitution” have methodically and stealthily “infiltrated” the government and the courts in order to launch another civil war.

This not the characteristic of a Republic when there are sworn public servants, they have raised their right hand and they have pledged to defend the state constitution, to do their duty, to implement the law, they have made a public pledge before God and now they are dissing God, they are dissing the United States and the state constitutions and the people who elected them. An uninformed public that allows this to happen is just as bad when they vote foolishly or they vote wickedly. We have evidence abounding that there is a civil war occurring in the United States of America, it’s not being done with guns or knives, but it’s being done by usurpers of the United States Constitution and they have positioned themselves in power, they have infiltrated the constitutional land of the United States, they have gotten there with the help of ignorant people or wicked people and then they have implemented their own will.

Thomasson later said that President Obama is using lies and deception to bring about gay rights laws.

He has finally in an election year, last year, decided that he needed money from wealthy homosexual businesspersons and their supporters and he came out with the truth. He really is a supporter of everything homosexual, bisexual, transsexual; he has imposed it on the military, he’s imposing it on marriage, he’s imposing it on our culture.

There are professional liars and there are professional double-talkers, and I’m not sure what you have here but you do have someone that is giving multiple messages. He already gave his message, he gave his message last year, in an interview he said that he supports homosexual marriages being legal, and that means everywhere. So it doesn’t matter what he says now. I guess he is working on a legacy; well the legacy is that America is really going down, down. Not simply because of foolish voters who don’t check out the real policies or real positions of the candidates or don’t even check out what’s best for children, but they listen to the lies and the myths and statements of candidates themselves and they just vote on image or they vote on feeling. That’s really self-idolatry.

  • Without irony, Glenn Beck and crew attack Alex Jones as a lunatic fascist conspiracy theorist ... while claiming that his appearance on CNN was part of a conspiracy to make gun defenders look crazy.
  • Randy Thomasson says "Adolf Hitler and his henchmen would be proud" of California.
  • Peter LaBarbera has twenty resolutions for anti-gay activists in 2013.
  • Tim Wildmon is "not so sure that President Obama is not intentionally trying to bankrupt the United States of America."
  • Finally, Bryan Fischer bravely engages in a hypothetical conversation with a straw man:

Conservatives Blame Evolution, Government for CT Shooting

The far right’s reaction to the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut continues to side into over-the-top rhetoric and conspiracy theories. The extremist group Oath Keepers released a statement claiming that the government is “complicit in the deaths of these children, and in fact an accessory to their mass murder” by promoting gun control laws:

This shooting is yet another tragic example of the failed, grotesque insistence on helpless victim zones where any crazed gunman can be assured of a large number of disarmed, undefended, helpless victims, all crammed into one place, where he can kill many children before an armed defender arrives from elsewhere. It is disturbing and sick that the federal government so hates the right of the American people to bear arms, and so hates their natural right to self defense, that the government insists on making them helpless, disarmed victims for anyone who cares to kill them. And in this case, all of the teachers and staff were willfully disarmed by the Federal Government, by force of law and threat of prison, to ensure that they would be disarmed and incapable of saving the lives of the children entrusted to their care.

That makes the Federal Government complicit in the deaths of these children, and in fact an accessory to their mass murder, by forcibly disarming (with the very real threat of prison) all the teachers, all the staff, and any parent who may have been on school property. That stupid law guaranteed the shooters would meet no immediate armed resistance, which is exactly what is needed to stop such an attack.

Randy Thomasson of Save California said that the shooting is “another example of societal degradation, a deadly consequence of promoting murderous abortions, godless evolution, and gratuitous violence,” urging schools to begin “teaching the fear of God” and arming “every school official”:

More than asking why this evil happened, we need to work diligently to prevent it. The innocents killed at Newtown are double the number of Columbine victims in 1999. We should be all the more grieved and all the more resolved to stop murders before they start. The answer is teaching the fear of God and love for God in schools and throughout society. Because mass murder is another example of societal degradation, a deadly consequence of promoting murderous abortions, godless evolution, and gratuitous violence. How opposite of teaching children that all people are worthy because they were created by God, that all innocent human beings deserve protection because they're made in God's image, and that every person is accountable to God when He judges the world.

Every school official should be armed and trained to repel these attacks upon schoolchildren. And every parent and every media industry decision maker should absolutely prohibit children from enjoying scenes that glorify violence and desensitize them to the taking of innocent human life.

WorldNetDaily columnist Vox Day didn’t play down the gun imagery in a column about “firing back at gun controllers,” insisting that the government is using the shooting to acquire dictatorial powers and “assassinate [Americans] at will”:

The television is full of weeping parents and pictures of angelic children. Facebook is afire with solipsistic women attempting to co-opt the tragedy for their own emotional gratification. Politicians wipe away fake tears and thunder about the need for “meaningful action.” Psychologists blather about the killer’s motivation and wonder if his murderous rage stemmed from inadequate toilet-training, psychotropic medications or his parent’s divorce. Conspiracy theorists note inconsistencies in the news stories and mark the suicide that always seems to be accompanied by reports of a second gunman.

We know the drill. This isn’t our first rodeo.

Americans who value freedom know that they cannot permit ignorant comments from the overly emotional about how “we must do something” to stand unchallenged. The political elite that seeks to disarm the American people is getting increasingly desperate, seeing how public support for gun rights has consistently grown in keeping with the federal government’s assertion of its right to fly armed drones over their heads and assassinate them at will. They are alarmed by the way in which all of their attempts to emotionally manipulate the American people into submitting to a blatantly unconstitutional disarmament have not only failed, but backfired.

The ruling elite is presently embarking upon a full-court press for gun control, the likes of which have not been seen since George W. Bush’s administration used the 2008 financial crisis to ram TARP down the throats of an unwilling American people and bail out his friends on Wall Street. But it isn’t working. It isn’t working because we know the drill.

Don’t give them an inch. Cut them no slack. Punch back twice as hard. When they bring the knife of emotional blackmail to the argument, draw your .50 caliber Desert Eagle of facts, logic and history and blow them away without mercy.

...

Ask them this: 800,000 law enforcement officers have killed 525 unarmed citizens with guns so far this year. Approximately 310 million private citizens killed an estimated 10,500 of their fellow citizens with guns over the same period of time. Given that a law enforcement officer is 19.4 times more likely to shoot and kill an unarmed American than a private citizen, if you genuinely care about reducing gun deaths, why aren’t you calling for the disarmament of law enforcement?

  • As promised, Liberty Counsel has filed suit against the new California law banning the use of "ex-gay" reparative therapy on minors.
  • On a related note, Randy Thomasson is calling on parents and counselors to defy this "tyrannical" law.
  • The Christian Coalition is releasing voter guides for the 2012 election.  Apparently, the Christian Coalition still exists.
  • James Dobson needs donations because "the ministry barely made it through the summer months, and emerged from it with nothing to spare."
  • FRC prays that members of the military will react to the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell by voting and swinging the election: "May strong moral Military leaders restore moral standards in the ranks. May God stir our military men at home and abroad to move quickly to make their right and their family member's right to vote count, by voting in this years Election."
  • Finally, Janet Porter explains why you cannot vote for President Obama:

Randy Thomasson: 'Gay Rights are Antithetical to a Free Society' and the 'Devil's Work'

Save California’s Randy Thomasson went on yet another anti-gay tirade while appearing on The Janet Mefferd Show, this time excoriating gay rights advocates for successfully pushing a new law in California that puts limits on harmful and discredited sexual orientation conversion therapy. He claimed that the Democrats who backed the measure decided “to do the Devil’s work” and “to go against religious freedom, against free speech, against the freedom to even love your own child and care for your own child.” He argued that LGBT people were likely abused as children but because of the new law, parents will be prohibited by the “completely insane” law from providing counseling to a child who survived sexual abuse.

Let’s talk about hepatitis, let’s talk about HPV, let’s talk about a whole host of sexually transmitted diseases, let’s talk about higher cancer rates for homosexual men, let’s talk about earlier deaths for homosexual men; you’ve got to realize the harm of children going into this lifestyle, it puts them at greater risk of all of these ills. Again, the Democrats are saying ‘no, no, no,’ we want to go with our homosexual activist friends, our volunteers, our political supporters, we are going to go against religious freedom, against free speech, against the freedom to even love your own child and care for your own child, and we are going to do the Devil’s work here and that exactly what’s been done.

To label something that is helping the child overcome a conflict, the feelings that have resulted from trauma, you cannot say that it’s harmful to be helpful to a child deal with trauma, it’s absolutely opposite of that. So the state is coming in to say ‘let’s push aside parental rights, this is a health or safety issue’ is completely bonkers, it’s calling black white and white black, it’s calling right wrong and wrong right, it’s completely insane and it’s very angering to think about the child who belongs to the parents and the parents have a God-given right to seek what’s best for that child and if the child’s been molested at a camp or somewhere else, the parent wants counseling for the gender-confusion that’s resulted, even if the parent wants the counseling, even if the parent pays for the counseling, even if the parent finds the counseling, the state says to the parent ‘you can’t do that’ and tells the molested child ‘no help for you.’

Later, Thomasson said that gay rights supporters want to “wipe out all the competition” by placing limits on the pseudo-scientific practice, warning that next the state might decide to ban vaccinations or chemotherapy. He concluded by telling Mefferd that gays and lesbians should not receive civil rights protections since they can change their sexual orientation as “people get out of addictions in America when they work at it and try,” calling gay rights “dangerous for America” and “antithetical to a free society.”

Look at what we have in our society, we have conflicts in society, we have disagreements in society, but do we allow those who are in power to wipe out all competition? In fact, we have rules about companies can’t have a monopoly, right? The US Supreme Court has been involved in those types of rulings. But here we see that a rival, homosexual activists say ‘we want to wipe out our rivals here,’ look if something is controversial then you can’t wipe it out, otherwise, you have to apply the same rule: let’s wipe out regressive therapy, which is controversial, let’s wipe out tarot card therapy, let’s wipe out chiropractic care, let’s wipe out vaccinations, let’s wipe out chemotherapy, see you can’t in a free society get rid of all controversies, you have to allow controversy and disagreement within a free society.

Homosexuality is not biologically based, we’ve never heard bisexuality or transsexuality is biological, it’s obviously a chosen thing. But when you look at what has happened is it’s been turned into a minority even though a minority civil rights protected class requires that there be an immutable, non-changeable, characteristic. We have thousands and thousands of former homosexuals, showing that change occurs; people get out of addictions in America when they work at it and try. Now we have this turned into a hammer upon everyone else; ‘gay rights’ defeats and trumps everyone else’s rights who disagree and that’s why it’s so dangerous for America, gay rights are antithetical to a free society.

Save California: Bill Limiting Ex-Gay Therapy is 'Locking Children into Homosexual Bondage'

After the California State Senate and an Assembly committee approved a bill placing limits on sexual orientation conversion therapy, the right-wing group Save California is framing the legislation as an attack on victims of child abuse. Relying on the discredited claim that homosexuality is a result of molestation, Save California is urging members to contact legislators to stop “this horrible bill locking children into homosexual bondage” that will prohibit counseling for those “who have often been molested or raped.” “What lack of love for children suffering from gender confusion disorder, who’ve often been molested and become confused as a result,” the group maintains, including an image stating: “Democrat politicians to molested kids: No help for you.” Led by the virulently anti-gay activist Randy Thomasson, Save California also recently launched a new page, “Not Born This Way” to expose the supposed “myths” about homosexuality.

UPDATE: SB 1172, the Democrats' tyrannical bill banning gender-confusion counseling for minors was skipped over during Monday's floor session of the California State Assembly. But this horrible bill locking children into homosexual bondage could still pass on Thursday, July 5, so it's important that you take a couple minutes right now to oppose it. Leave a recorded message or send an email to your assemblymember.

SB 1172, which has already passed the Senate, would:

1. Ban California parents from seeking counseling for their son or daughter who falsely think they are "homosexual"

2. Penalize licensed counselors who care enough to counsel these gender-confused children, who have often been molested or raped

SB 1172 reads, "Under no circumstances shall a mental health provider engage in sexual orientation change efforts with a patient under 18 years of age, regardless of the willingness of a patient, patient's parent, guardian, conservator, or other person to authorize such efforts."

What an attack on parental rights and on mental health professionals! And what lack of love for children suffering from gender confusion disorder, who've often been molested and become confused as a result. The Democrats pushing this bill on behalf of homosexual activists want to lock children into thinking they are "homosexual," when these kids' gender confusion often results from an attack by a sexual perpetrator.

Anti-Gay Activist Calls Bill Limiting Reparative Therapy 'Hateful Toward Children'

Last week the Pacific Justice Institute came out against legislation limiting the discredited and harmful “ex-gay” reparative therapy by decrying the bill as a “gross and outrageous violation against humanity” and an “egregious attack on children and youth,” and today Save California president Randy Thomasson is entering the fray. In an interview with the American Family Association’s OneNewsNow, Thomasson dubbed the measure “hateful toward children” that will particularly impact “molested boys or confused boys.” Despite trying to appear as an advocate for children, Thomasson opposed legal protections for children of same-sex couples, calling them “absolute insanity,” and blamed openly gay fifteen year-old Lawerence King for his own murder by a classmate.

A family leader says proponents of a California bill are being "hateful" by preventing patients from receiving the gender counseling they may need.

Today the California Senate Judiciary Committee will consider SB 1172, a bill authored by Democratic Senator Ted Lieu that would restrict therapists from offering "sexual orientation-change" counseling even if patients are seeking such help. The bill would ban sexual orientation-change efforts for patients under the age of 18, require a consent form for adults, and penalize professionals who continue with such counseling procedures without informed consent

Randy Thomasson of SaveCalifornia.com describes the legislation as "unloving."

"It's actually hateful toward children of stopping parents from seeking help for their molested boys or confused boys, [and] stopping loving Christian professionals from helping people charitably with their hearts and professionally through their services," he explains.

Thomassson also contends the bill would stop psychologists from offering assistance to juveniles who may be struggling with homosexuality and want a way out. "Children with sexual-identity struggles get depressed by someone telling them they are locked into sexual behavior instead of informing them that they have freedom to make healthy choices," he says.

SB 1172, Thomasson warns, will "depress and harm struggling children instead of giving them a chance at freedom."

The National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH) has alsocome out against passage of SB 1172, saying it inaccurately represents the science of sexual orientation change efforts, restricts the rights of parents in caring for their minor children, and usurps the role of mental health organizations and licensing boards in providing oversight.

Randy Thomasson Furious at 'Perverse Social Engineering' in Navy 'First Kiss'

With the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell fully in effect, the doomsday predictions of right-wing naysayers failed to materialize as no incidents have been reported. But that hasn’t stopped supporters of the discriminatory policy from continuing to criticize the military and attack openly gay service members, and the two women sailors who won a raffle to share the traditional ‘first kiss’ are now in the Religious Right’s crosshairs. Randy Thomasson of Save California railed against the kiss between Petty Officer 2nd Class Marissa Gaeta and her girlfriend Petty Officer 3rd Class Citlalic Snell, and told the American Family Association’s OneNewsNow that the Navy is now engaging in “perverse social engineering” on behalf of “an aggressive homosexual activist community”:

Randy Thomasson of SaveCalifornia.com is familiar with the tactics of homosexual activists in California, home to both Gaeta and Snell.

"San Diego, being the top Navy port on the West Coast, has an aggressive homosexual activist community which is just applauding this big time, saying 'it's delightful,' saying, 'it's fantastic,'" he laments.

Sailors purchased $1 tickets at a raffle to raise money for a Christmas party for children whose parents are in the military. Gaeta purchased $50 worth of tickets, and the lesbian couple was chosen to have the first kiss.

Thomasson argues that is not what the military is for. "It's about a fighting force to defend our shores, to defend our interests, and to advance the cause of the United States' security in the world," he tells OneNewsNow. "I would not make it social engineering that the Navy has done it, and now perverse social engineering."
