Sandy Rios 'Revulsed' By Michael Sam Kiss, Tells Conchita Wurst She's 'Under A Delusion'

Add Sandy Rios of the American Family Association to the growing list of anti-gay activists who are distraught over the TV footage of NFL recruit Michael Sam sharing a kiss with his boyfriend.

Rios said on her radio show yesterday that “the Holy Spirit within me is revulsed” by the sight of two men kissing, insisting that most Americans “do not like this” and “don’t like what ESPN is doing and how they’re forcing this on the watchers, the guys, for the most part.”

“I watched it once and it was enough, I couldn’t bear to watch it,” she said. “It’s just such an unnatural act it’s hard to watch, I just don’t want to watch it, I can’t bear it.”

She also claimed Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst is “under a delusion” and warned that her alleged sins “will come to a crashing end.”

Rios also cited the controversy over HGTV discontinuing its work with David and Jason Benham to warn that “we will be called on to give our lives” in the fight against “this rampant, irrational wave of perversion” and its advocates: “You will not prevail, there will not be a good ending.”

Sandy Rios Wonders If Feminists Only Care About Nigeria Kidnappings Because They Don't Realize Victims Are Christians

Last week on her radio show, Sandy Rios speculated that the only reason the State Department and feminists care about the kidnappings of hundreds of girls in Nigeria is because they don’t realize that many of the girls targeted by Boko Haram are Christians.

Rios, the American Family Association’s government affairs director, said she was just asking the question about whether feminists would care about the kidnapped girls if they knew about their religion.

The Department of State is offering a reward of up to $7 million leading to [Abubakar Shekau’s] location, of course it’s because he’s kidnapping girls, I guess he did the wrong thing now, it’s not that they’re Christians, it’s that they’re girls, and now the feminists are — I wonder if the feminists know that these girls are Christians because maybe they wouldn’t be so upset. I don’t know. That’s how weird this is getting.

Sandy Rios Points To Tornadoes To Criticize Climate-Change Prevention

The American Family Association’s Sandy Rios is pointing to the tornado that hit the AFA’s home of Tupelo, Mississippi, yesterday as evidence that humans shouldn’t try to combat climate change.

Rios said on her radio show yesterday that tornadoes reflect the power of God, and therefore there is no point in trying to combat climate change because we are mere mortals.

“We are ants in the face of this, and so then for us to talk about controlling the weather and global — somehow if we drive different SUVs or don’t emit too much CO2 — somehow we can stop these phenomena that are so beyond our comprehension and ability we can’t do anything except film them,” she said. “What can you do, wave your fist at a tornado and say, ‘You’re not going to get me, we’re Tupelo Strong!’?”

Rios was referring to the “Boston Strong” slogan, which she recently said is mocking God and could bring about new terrorist attacks.

Actually, new research has shed light on a connection between human-influenced climate change and more intense tornadoes and severe storms.

We guess Rios prefers the approach of Pat Robertson, who believes that tornadoes can be stopped through prayer.

Sandy Rios Attacks New York Times For Quoting Cliven Bundy's Racist Remarks

Taking a cue from other Cliven Bundy apologists, Sandy Rios of the American Family Association on Friday accused the New York Times of tricking the lawless rancher into making racist remarks about African Americans.

Even though Bundy’s remarks were public and completely unprompted, Rios blamed New York Times reporter Adam Nagourney for the outrage anyway.

“I’m sure that this reporter, Adam Nagourney, who I think was the only reporter there, I’m sure he asked Mr. Bundy a question about race for this very purpose, for this very purpose, hoping to get something on tape, something to make him look like a fool and a racist so that to bring the prophecy about Harry Reid that something’s going to happen to stop Cliven Bundy.”

She later claimed that Nagourney tricked Bundy just as people “trap” her by asking her questions in media interviews.

“I really do find it curious that suddenly he is talking about race to a New York Times reporter,” she said, reflecting on her own experience “having been on the news trapped by reporters many, many, times, attempted trappings, being set up, being asked pointed questions so that they hope that they can get some kind of response from you…sort of give a quote so they can destroy me, that’s what they do. That’s kind of what they did [to Bundy] and it’s working.”

Sandy Rios Explains God Will Allow More Terrorist Attacks Against America Because He's A 'Gentleman'

Last week on her radio show, Sandy Rios of the American Family Association addressed criticism she received over her claim that the Boston Marathon bombing memorial opened up the country to more terrorist attacks.

She told one listener, Michael, that all Americans — not just Bostonians — are responsible for the looming attacks that she said will occur because the country has not paid enough attention God and is ignoring his moral laws.

Channeling her AFA colleague Bryan Fischer, who made similar remarks about the Sandy Hook shooting, Rios said that God won’t protect Americans in the face of terrorist attacks because he’s a “gentleman” and won’t go where he’s not wanted.

All of you who hate me, I am glad you are listening, thank God you’re listening. And this is what I said and I will repeat it. I didn’t say that [there will be] more terrorist attacks because the Boston mourners had ignored God. I did say that I think we are opening ourselves wide to more terrorist attacks because the nation is refusing to acknowledge God. We are mocking him, we are turning our back on him, we are saying, ‘Oh yeah, you said we should do things this way, you said it was a moral law, oh yeah, are you kidding me, we don’t mention you at ceremonies, we don’t pray in public places, we can’t let our kids talk about it in school, oh yeah, just get out of here God.’

And I guarantee you, Michael, he will, he’s a gentleman. The Judeo-Christian God doesn’t force himself on people or nations, he’s not like Allah, he doesn’t force his way, it’s your choice. So if you choose to ignore him, trust me he’ll be gone. And certainly if you demand that he leave, he’s not going to stay around. It’s your choice, and it’s the same way with all of us collectively as a country.

Sandy Rios Warns Of New Terrorist Attacks Because Boston Mourners 'Ignored' God

American Family Association radio host Sandy Rios said today that yesterday’s memorial service for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, along with the “Boston Strong” slogan, are demonstrations of human pride that could cause God to stop protecting the city.

Rios said that because the mourners gathered in Boston didn’t thank God for preventing a more damaging attack that “could’ve been a whole lot worse” with “thousands of casualties,” now God may allow another terrorist “onslaught” to take place:

“Because we have denied him and ignored him and refused to acknowledge him, we cannot assume and in fact we can probably likely count on the fact that God, unless he does on behalf of the people that are called by his name, those of us that serve him, unless he hears our prayers above what we see happening in this country, I’m not sure that there will be something to stop the next onslaught.”

In fact, the memorial service yesterday started with a speech from Rev. Liz Walker of the Roxbury Presbyterian Church, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh started his speech by quoting from the Epistle of James, and several speakers mentioned God.

The overall things that come to my ears in the face of what happened a year ago just seem empty. It’s like going to a funeral and remembering someone’s life when there is no thought to who God is and to our place in the universe, that’s what was missing. When they start talking about, ‘We are Boston Strong,’ and I addressed this when this happened last Spring and they started talking about ‘Boston Strong,’ this is not the first time I’ve mentioned this, something in me just, just—I close my eyes and I think, oh please, don’t go there. What they’re saying is, ‘We are so fabulous, our response to this was so wonderful.’ You heard Joe Biden say, ‘We are strong, we’ll never stand down, we respond, we endure, we own the finish line.’

No, no, really, the truth of the matter, last spring, a year ago yesterday, was—only by God’s grace was it not worse than it was, only by God’s grace Boston could’ve been wiped out, there could’ve been thousands of casualties, it could’ve been a whole lot worse, they could have been devastated as a city, they could have been in a situation where they couldn’t recover. It’s only by God’s grace and mercy that it wasn’t worse than it was. It was not because of ‘Boston Strong.’

And I have to say, because we have denied him and ignored him and refused to acknowledge him, we cannot assume and in fact we can probably likely count on the fact that God, unless he does on behalf of the people that are called by his name, those of us that serve him, unless he hears our prayers above what we see happening in this country, I’m not sure that there will be something to stop the next onslaught.

The Five Worst Religious Right Claims About Safe Schools Initiatives

In honor of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network’s Day of Silence today – an annual event meant to draw attention to the “silencing effects” of anti-gay harassment and name-calling in schools – Right Wing Watch is re-releasing a collection of some of the most troubling recent claims from the Religious Right about safe schools initiatives.

Relying on harmful myths depicting LGBT people as abusive and “perverse,” it is clear from these examples that the Religious Right is far more interested in pushing homophobic lies than in protecting and supporting all students through commonsense legislation. Our elected leaders face a stark choice between protecting students and siding with the dangerous and hateful lies of the far right.

5. Gordon Klingenschmitt: Al Franken is 'Causing More Suicides' by Backing Anti-Bullying Bill (January 2012)

Previously, Gordon Klingenschmitt accused Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) of “homosexualizing kids” and acting like late North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il over his efforts to pass legislation geared at preventing bullying because Franken and other progressives have “deified sin as their god.” Now, Klingenschmitt is accusing Franken of “causing more suicides” for sponsoring the anti-bullying bill. “Teen suicide is tragic enough without Senator Franken recruiting more kids into homosexuality, which causes depression, self-hatred, self-rejection and self-murder,” Klingenschmitt writes, “Franken's plan will result in more teen suicides, not less.”

4. Linda Harvey Warns That Anti-Bullying Programs Will Turn Schools Into ‘Indoctrination Camps’ (November 2011)

Linda Harvey of Mission America urged voters to oppose the Safe Schools Improvement Act and the Student Non-Discrimination Act, warning that such anti-bullying legislation was “using bullying prevention as a tool to force approval of homosexuality and gender bending on children, teachers and families.” On her radio show, Harvey urged members of her Ohio-based group to contact Senators Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman to oppose what she called the “promotion of these lifestyles to kids brought into schools in the Trojan Horse of anti-bullying programs.” She went on to say that schools will be turned “into indoctrination camps” in order “to fulfill the fondest wishes of those who want traditional morality to disappear” if the safe school legislation passes.

3. Public Advocate: Congress Using Schools ‘To Force The Homosexual Agenda’ On Children (April 2011)

Religious Right groups consistently try to tarnish anti-bullying initiatives by labeling them as “homosexual indoctrination” and “special rights,” among other absurd claims. A Religious Right group called Public Advocate and led by Virginia politician Eugene Delgaudio launched the “Protect Our Children’s Innocence” petition to protest the Student Non-Discrimination Act, which it labeled the “Homosexual Classrooms Act.”

2. Gordon Klingenschmitt Says ‘Sick and Perverse’ Student Non-Discrimination Act Will Legalize ‘Sexual Assault’ (April 2012)

After President Obama announced his support for the Student Non-Discrimination Act, Gordon Klingenschmitt went back on the attack against the anti-bullying bill, warning in an email message that the “sick and perverse” legislation will “give homosexuals and perverts protected status,” “mandate pro-homosexual recruiting of kids in public schools,” promote “child abuse” as “homosexuals will have full control of classrooms” and even allow for harassment and “sexual assault.”

1. Sandy Rios: Schools No Longer Teach Reading and Writing, Now Just Promote Homosexuality (April 2013)

The American Family Association’s Sandy Rios hosted Linda Harvey of Mission America to criticize the Day of Silence, the anti-bullying event which Harvey has previously described as dangerous and blasphemous.

Rios, who once said that test scores are dropping as a result of schools “teaching” homosexuality, kicked off the program by arguing that public schools no longer instruct students in subjects like “reading, writing, cursive, spelling, grammar [and] punctuation,” but are instead completely dedicated to “cramming, twisting, perverting all academic subjects to the way of supporting homosexuality.”

Sandy Rios Fears Children Won't 'Survive' Common Core, Christians Will Have to Build 'Parallel Society'

Last week, American Family Association’s Sandy Rios spoke to William Estrada of the Home School Legal Defense Association about the supposed dangers of Common Core, which Rios fears will “promote homosexuality” to children.

She told Estrada that conservative Christians will refuse to let their kids learn according to Common Core standards, but as a result will “find themselves in a situation where they cannot function, they cannot be accepted into colleges and universities, they can’t get scholarships, they can’t get a ticket to get into, you know, just living life.”

“I just can’t see how our kids can survive,” Rios lamented, arguing that conservatives will then need to create a new society for those who oppose Common Core: “The only way I can see us even surviving is to develop a parallel society. I’m projecting but honestly that is the truth. A parallel economy, parallel job opportunities.”

Rios: The way is going to Common Core is going to work is our kids, meaning the home school children — when I say our kids, many of us are Christians, we are conservatives politically — our children may find themselves in a situation where they cannot function, they cannot be accepted into colleges and universities, they can’t get scholarships, they can’t get a ticket to get into, you know, just living life, if they are not pulled into the Common Core if it continues on its current trajectory. I just can’t see how our kids can survive.

Estrada: That’s actually our long term concern. Right now the Common Core by law only applies to public schools, of course there are five states that never adopted the Common Core — Texas, Alaska, Virginia, Minnesota only adopted the English Language Arts, and Nebraska never adopted the Common Core — so there are a few states that never did, but the long term concerns is that this is the first step towards a national curriculum. If we truly do have a national curriculum across all fifty states, the pressure will build for homeschoolers to be taught the same way, and if not the doors to universities and colleges will most likely be closed to them.

Rios: The only way I can see us even surviving is to develop a parallel society. I’m projecting but honestly that is the truth. A parallel economy, parallel job opportunities and I just don’t think — that’s not where we want to go. We need to stop Common Core.

Estrada: That is so much why we need to keep this fight.

Sandy Rios Says Her Critics Are 'Enemies Of God'

Yesterday, American Family Association radio host Sandy Rios – known for her extreme and conspiratorial anti-gay comments – said that anybody who criticizes her is really attacking God.

She added that those who monitor her show and criticize her remarks will be condemned by God, a claim she previously made when speaking about LGBT rights advocates.

Don’t you guys understand – those of you listening, who are listening to me because you think you’re my enemy – you’re really an enemy of God? Don’t you understand who you’re up against? You think you are actually going to hurt my feelings by those comments? You’re not hurting my feelings. You make me worry about you because you don’t understand who God is and you don’t understand His righteousness and you don’t understand that you’re condemning yourselves with that stuff. So I worry for you, I don’t worry for me, I’m not afraid of death.

Sandy Rios Wants 'Disordered' Gays And 'Trannies' Banned From The Military

American Family Association radio host Sandy Rios said yesterday that she wants to restore the ban on gays in the military because gay people are “disordered” and won’t be able to “provide strong defense for our nation.”

Rios, who is also the AFA’s governmental affairs director, was reacting to a Palm Center study that calls for an end to the military’s prohibition on transgender service members, which led her to a long rant that serves as a great example of heterosexual privilege.

Have we been so lulled into silliness and foolishness that we think that transgendered soldiers who are confused about their sexuality who want to undergo gender reassignment, homosexual soldiers who are constantly thinking about their sexuality -- and I say that with authority, having interviewed so many ex-gays and talked about this for years, there is an obsession -- their identity, they think, is their sexuality.

How many of you who are heterosexual would first of all say to someone in describing yourself, ‘I’m heterosexual, I have sex with the opposite sex’? You have much more of an identity than that, don’t you? Well for homosexuals, they claim that as an identity, it’s all about sex, so that is a disorder in itself. You can write me, I realize that’s angering words but that is a disorder because that’s not who you are, you are much more than that. It is a disorder, it is disordered thinking and if we think that soldiers that are obsessed with these issues are going to provide strong defense for our nation, I think we are foolishly denying whatever is true.

Previously, Rios claimed that the “homosexual takeover of so much of our military ” has eviscerated military readiness and effectiveness.

Rios also criticized former Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders, who chaired the Palm Center study, for writing a four-paragraph foreword for the book Harmful To Minors, in which she endorsed sexual education for minors in order to combat misinformation and STIs.

Rios said Elders has spent her career “calling for children to be sexually active” and lamented that she is “now urging for trannies to be allowed in the military.”

Sandy Rios: Austin Ruse Was Merely Using 'Words Of Life' When Saying Professors Should Be Shot

Yesterday, American Family Radio’s Sandy Rios defended her former guest host Austin Ruse after his comment that liberal professors should be “taken out and shot” caused AFR to cut ties with him. Rios said on her show that comments like Ruse’s are really just “words of life” because they warn people like liberal professors that they will be condemned by God and sent to Hell.

“Austin was talking about the damage that’s being done to innocent children in our culture, whether it’s our children in public schools, whether it’s those of you who handle and mold and shape their minds in colleges and universities,” she said. “If you are in the business of defiling them, of perverting their innocence, of sexualizing them, it isn’t us that condemns you, it’s God himself.”

Rios also said she would have said the same thing as Ruse in private conversations, just not on the radio.

Austin Ruse sat in for me last week, and Austin brings to this microphone such experience and intellect and passion and I love that about him. Toward the middle of the week, he made a statement that was picked up by one of the left-wing posts and it was taken and run with. It was probably an intemperate remark, it reminded me of something I would’ve said, I could’ve easily said what Austin said, I think any of us could. In conversation sometimes we’ll be saying something—I might not say this on the mic—but I would say this to my friends, ‘Just kill me, just put me out of my misery.’ Or I would say something, ‘They should all — they all ought to be all — whatever.’ I think we’ve all in intemperate, uncareful moments of passion said things like that, but you can’t say that at a radio microphone without their being some sort of response to it, so that’s what Austin got, a big wave of negative response.

Ted Cruz Thinks Republicans 'Stood Up To' GOP Presidents Who 'Abused Their Power'

Still riffing off the phony IRS scandal, last week Ted Cruz told American Family Radio host Sandy Rios that President Obama is using the tax agency “as the attack dogs of partisan politics to help the Obama administration to win elections.”

In an amazing example of revisionist history, the Texas senator said that Republicans consistently called out Republican presidents when they violated the law: “The difference, Sandy, we have had Republicans who have abused their power and when that’s happened, Republicans have rightly stood up to them, called them out and defended the Constitution. What’s missing now is: Where are the Democrats? Where are the media? Where is anybody that has an interest in rule of law and following the Constitution and preserving the liberty of the citizens?”

We look forward to Cruz providing the many recent examples that definitely exist of GOP congressmen targeting Republican presidents.

D'Souza: Obama Is 'Waging War' On Conservatives Instead Of 'Islamic Radicals'

After telling CPAC attendees that President Obama is coming for their cars and furniture, Dinesh D’Souza stopped by Sandy Rios In The Morning to claim that Mitt Romney would have defeated Obama if voters only watched D’Souza’s film, 2016: Obama’s America.

“I believe if every American had seen that film, Obama would not have been re-elected, I really believe that,” he said, warning that the president is ushering in America's decline.

D’Souza, who in previous interviews has claimed that Obama is “actively supporting” terrorist attacks by “radical Muslims” and “is weirdly sympathetic to Muslim jihadis,” told Rios that the president is more interested in fighting conservatives in the US “using the instruments of the state” than fighting Russian president Vladimir Putin and “Islamic radicals.”

D’Souza: I believe if every American had seen that film, Obama would not have been re-elected, I really believe that. We tested the movie on focus groups, it would make people violently anti-Obama once they watched that film. The problem of course was Romney and the fact that he had his own strategy and his strategy was—

Rios: Never say anything bad about Obama.

D’Souza: Well, no. He had a group of experts and consultants and they told him, ‘This is how you win the election,’ and so he went with it. But look, I’m very proud of the film. I think that’s interesting about that film is that many people thought it would be in a sense irrelevant after the election, it’s an election-type film, but it’s more relevant than ever now. If you want to see what’s going on in the Ukraine, you’ll see that what’s really going on—the reason Obama is not opposing Putin is he doesn’t want to. Obama has a view that America shouldn’t be this big fat bully in the world, he’d like to see China have more power, Russia have more power, Brazil, India; he’s going for what I call a multipolar world to replace the world of one superpower, us. That’s his goal.

D’Souza: With Obama you get this idea that his real enemies, from his point of view, it’s not Putin and it’s not Islamic radicals, it’s us. He’s waging a kind of war, a political war if you will, using the instruments of the state against conservatives and he’s good at that war and he’s fighting it aggressively. I don’t believe in this idea that Obama’s an amateur, he’s a bungler; no he’s very effective at what he wants to do.

Even Conservatives Admit Americans For Prosperity Is A Koch Brothers Front Group

Last week at CPAC, American Family Radio host Sandy Rios interviewed Rob Tappan, the director of external relations at Koch Industries, which was a top sponsor of the conservative summit. Rios asked Tappan about Senate majority leader Harry Reid’s recent criticism of Charles and David Koch’s exorbitant spending on behalf of right-wing political groups, including Americans for Prosperity (AFP).

Since AFP is obviously a front group for the Koch brothers, Rios asked the Koch Industries spokesman, “Are you guys—now you’re running ads in Michigan? I’m sure that you’re doing things in other states too, where are some of the other hotspots we might not know where you guys are placing some of your ads against Obamacare?”

Tappan tried to clarify that he Koch Industries and AFP are separate entities, but it was clear that both Tappan and Rios understood that the groups are not really different at all.

“We are certainly very supportive of them from a resource standpoint as well as a philosophical standpoint, we love AFP and all of the things that they do,” Tappan added. “Make no mistake, Charles Koch and David Koch are very simpatico with everything that AFP does as well as any one of a number of organizations that they support and try to help flourish.”

West: Hagel Is A 'Traitor,' Obama Only Helps People On Welfare

Former congressman Allen West is furious about the announcement of new defense budget cuts, calling them “unconscionable” and part of “Barack Obama’s game plan to weaken the United States of America.”

In an interview with the American Family Association’s Sandy Rios today, West called defense secretary Chuck Hagel a “turncoat” and a “traitor to the men and women in uniform.”

The Tea Party leader told Rios that the Obama administration wants to intentionally harm military service members and their families because they are “not their constituency.”

“Their constituency is basically the welfare nanny state, their constituency are the people who they can get hooked on government largesse, their constituency is the growing poverty class and also the growing food stamp class,” West said.

“American strength is a stench to them,” he added, claiming Obama went around the world “apologizing for America’s strength.”

West later railed against “progressive socialists” for their opposition to bans on gays in the military and women in combat roles.

Ex-Gay Pride Leaders: 'Homosexual Activists' Fund Fred Phelps, Dumb Dads On TV Turn Kids Gay

Last week, Ex-Gay Pride Month organizers Christopher Doyle and Chuck Peters of Voice of the Voiceless spoke to American Family Association talk show host Sandy Rios about how strong women and “stupid,” “buffoon” dads on television are turning kids gay.

As a result, boys begin idolizing women and female celebrities while seeing “this caricature of men on TV,” which somehow makes them gay.

Peters: I split off that side of myself, the masculine side, the boyhood side. I thought ‘I’m not going to be a man, I’m going to be like a woman.’ So I way-over-identified with my mother. That’s why I believe a lot of gay-identified men really worship these celebrities, these strong women, like Madonna or Cher or Lady Gaga because these women are strong women, like the mom that I grew up with, that are very opinionated, have a chip on their shoulder, wear the pants in the family, and these are the women that I wanted to be like or I wanted to identify with because I didn’t have a man in the house who wore the pants, who would teach me how to be a man.

Rios: That seems to be the theme, Chris, so often.

Doyle: You see any straight heterosexual male on TV is now the buffoon.

Rios: Don’t I know it? All the dads are stupid and all the women are supermoms. I’m the antifeminist, if you want to complain about that you’ve came to the right studio. I just can’t stand what they’ve done to manhood.

Doyle: It’s absolutely damaging for kids. In so many minority cultures now it’s still an epidemic problem that the father is not in the home. Then they turn on the TV, which is basically where they have to go because they don’t have two parents in the house and dad’s not there, then they see this caricature of men on TV.

Doyle also seems pretty sure that Westboro Baptist Church pastor Fred Phelps is “funded by homosexual activists” to make anti-gay groups look bad.

He told Rios that he can’t explain how else Phelps “gets all that money to do all of that.”

Actually, the church makes its money through its family law firm, Phelps-Chartered, and by winning or settling cases surrounding its demonstrations.

Peters also decried bills limiting the use of ex-gay therapy, which he said will lead to deaths: “If you want to kill somebody and force somebody into suicide, take away hope. And that’s what these pending bills and that’s what the bill in California is doing and the bill that was passed and signed by Gov. [Chris] Christie is doing, the blood of these minors who commit suicide because they can’t go to a licensed therapist will be on the hands of Gov. Christie and Gov. [Jerry] Brown who both signed these bills into law.”

Rios: Gay Rights 'War Between People Who Love This Country' And Those Who Want to 'Destroy' It

The American Family Association’s Sandy Rios is, to say the least, upset about Attorney General Eric Holder’s recent decision to extend  many rights in the justice system to same-sex married couples. In fact, Rios tells the AFA’s OneNewsNow today, we are now in “a war between people who love this country and want to protect and preserve it and their children and future generations, and those who literally want to undermine and destroy its laws, its nature, [and to] fundamentally transform it."

Rios adds the executive branch "is out of control" by refusing to enforce laws passed by Congress and then granting rights to homosexuals.

"This is a fight over the survival of the country," she shares. "This is a war between people who love this country and want to protect and preserve it and their children and future generations, and those who literally want to undermine and destroy its laws, its nature, [and to] fundamentally transform it."

LaBarbera: US Should Adopt Russia-Style 'Gay Propaganda' Law To Stop Disney From 'Promoting Lesbianism To Kids'

Americans For Truth About Homosexuality director Peter LaBarbera said yesterdat that the U.S. should copy Russia’s “homosexual propaganda” law in order to censor shows like “Good Luck Charlie,” the Disney show that recently came under attack from Religious Right activists for featuring a same-sex couple.

“Look at the Disney show, they are promoting lesbianism to kids who don’t even know what sex is yet,” LaBarbera said in an interview with the American Family Association’s Sandy Rios. “How are kids going to process that information of two moms?”

LaBarbera hailed Russia’s law for stopping people from “promoting homosexualism” and called it “acceptable and a good idea.” Rios agreed that the law was “common sense.”

LaBarbera even had harsh words for same-sex couples who send their children to school, because that may lead to discussions that would make anti-gay bigots like himself who seek to stigmatize the family feel uncomfortable.

They’re always asking, ‘How does it harm you? How does gay parenting affect you?’ Here’s how we see it affecting us: Young children are being taught that homosexuality, homosexual relationships is just normal. It’s actually very selfish because the adult choices are basically forced on everybody. This situation we saw in Disney is writ large.

If there’s a lesbian parenting, lesbians have a child at a school, the whole school—there’s pressure on the school then to teach, to not have any stigma be on that whole idea of homosexuality. Of course we don’t hate anybody, we don’t want any child harmed but these situations are forced upon the general public.

You know, the children are being forced by this so-called domesticated homosexuality, they pay the price. People say, ‘Why can’t you just teach them? Why do you have to have any stigma at all?’ Well, basically they are asking us to give up our beliefs.

He also told Rios that he will be travelling to Washington along with notorious anti-gay pastor Scott Lively to speak out in favor of Russia’s anti-gay crackdown in front of the Russian Embassy.

Rios: Obama Has 'Otherworldly,' 'Supernatural Power'

On her radio show yesterday, American Family Association governmental affairs director Sandy Rios reacted to President Obama’s State of the Union speech by warning that the president has a sinister “supernatural power” that is captivating the American people.

Responding to a caller who warned that “there’s a black cloud over our national capital” that is bringing down America, Rios said that there is a “spiritual” element to the political battle: “I do think what we’re facing here is otherworldly, there is a supernatural power to this president that I can’t—that I think most of us have picked up, those of us who believe in God and believe that there are other forces at work here, but we don’t know what God’s mind is on this.”

Previously, Rios claimed that Obama is no different than Adolf Hitler and Mao Zedong.
