American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer appeared on CNN today and told host Carol Costello that the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Mix It Up at Lunch Day” program, which the AFA is protesting, is “toxic” to the “moral health” of students, much like “poisoned Halloween candy” injected with cyanide.

After Fischer did his normal routine of arguing that Hitler was gay and that the Stormtroopers were largely comprised of gay members while making wild claims about the supposed dangers of homosexuality, Costello abruptly ended the interview, adding, “thanks for sharing your views, I guess.”

Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality on Friday spoke to Religious Right talk show host Janet Mefferd, who insisted that the Obama administration wants to “give preference to somebody who is a homosexual to be a security guard” to guard embassies in countries like Libya. However, the job posting in question “does not list same-sex domestic partners of government employees as a prerequisite,” as Media Matters had already noted, but lists same-sex partners under their “Eligible Family Member” guidelines, which includes spouses, children and siblings. “It’s beyond dumb, I didn’t know that when Barack Obama was campaigning in 2008 that he was going to give us gay affirmative action,” LaBarbera said, “hey who is in favor of affirmative action based on aberrant, deviant sexual conduct.”

“We’ve seen this all over the world, the Obama administration is now promoting homosexuality as a ‘human right’ and they are in your face, going in Muslim countries and heavily Christian countries promoting homosexuality in their embassies, this is an incredible, revolutionary development,” he said.

“I don’t know those gay security guards, that’s who I want to defend me,” LaBarbera said. He went on to refer to the President as “Dictator Obama,” asserting that the job posting violates DOMA.

Mefferd: One of the things we’ve learned now is in the months leading up to the 9/11 attack on the consulate in Benghazi, the US embassy in Libya was seeking to hire two body guards with limited English language skills, we know this for about $13,000 a year, and in these job descriptions that the US embassy in Libya posted online they explicitly stated that they would give preference to filling these positions with qualified US citizens who were family members of US government employees and this included those with same-sex domestic partners. Now I’m thinking to myself, how does this jive with Libya? Don’t you think that’s a dumb idea, am I missing something here?

LaBarbera: It’s beyond dumb. I didn’t know that when Barack Obama was campaigning in 2008 that he was going to give us gay affirmative action, don’t you think that would have been an interesting point? Hey, who is in favor of affirmative action based on aberrant, deviant sexual conduct? See that’s an interesting concept but if you’re going to do it let’s do it in a Muslim country where homosexuals can actually be killed for practicing homosexuality and we’ve seen this all over the world. The Obama administration is now promoting homosexuality as a ‘human right’ and they are in your face, going in Muslim countries and heavily Christian countries promoting homosexuality in their embassies, this is an incredible, revolutionary development and it’s hardly even been a campaign issue.

Mefferd: And the silly part about it is why would you give preference to somebody who is a homosexual to be a security guard, what is the connection there?

LaBarbera: I don’t know. Those gay security guards, that’s who I want to defend me. But also what about DOMA? This is a violation of course of the spirit if not the law of the Defense of Marriage Act which is supposed to give preference to normal, male-female married spouses in our US government and Obama just said, ‘hey, we’re not going to follow that anymore,’ and just decided to make a new law.

Mefferd: Right, because he has been denigrating DOMA for a long, long time and has not defended it in court even though he is required to as the President of the United States to uphold federal law, he’s just not doing it and nobody is holding his feet to a fire on that. Does that drive you as crazy as it drives me that he just gets away with it?

LaBarbera: Yeah, you know Dictator Obama, hey, write a new law, we’re not going to enforce that law.

LaBarbera also lauded the American Family Association’s campaign to pull students from schools that participate in the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Mix It Up at Lunch Day,” where students are encouraged to sit with their peers whom they don’t normally talk to or associate with. While he couldn’t find an example of how “Mix It Up at Lunch Day” promotes the “gay agenda,” he said the event should be opposed simply because it connects schools to the “anti-Christian” and “evil” SPLC.

What this event is, this seemingly innocuous event, of getting kids to sit next to somebody else during the lunch hour, but what this really is is luring the schools in, getting them hooked on the SPLC and later on they find out that the SPLC promotes homosexuality in the name of tolerance. This is one of their more innocuous activities but if you are allowing the SPLC in as an institution then you are saying essentially you agree with the SPLC’s concept of tolerance, which these days is a radically pro-homosexual agenda.

Their purpose is to get us out of media, to delegitimize us, to make it ‘oh why did you call that hate group, hey you don’t call the KKK every time you do a story on black people,’ which is the way they think. It’s evil, it’s really insulting to Christians, especially to African American Christians the idea that the opposition to homosexuality is analogous to being like a racist, that is an anti-Christian thought process that the SPLC is going through.

Peter LaBarbera on Americans for Truth About Homosexuality Radio Hour once again hosted Liberty University’s resident junk scientist Judith Reisman, who after telling LaBarbera about her time working on music for “Captain Kangaroo,” went on to say that anti-gay bullying and gay youth suicides are complete myths based on “ignorance” and that many kids “are going to be very susceptible to the homosexual urging” because children are taught that “homosexuality was being discriminated against.”

Of course a lot of them are going to be very susceptible to the homosexual urging and that sort of thing, I mean as a kid if I thought homosexuality was being discriminated against and this was normal and natural and this is genetic, give me a break, we have no genetic support for that at all. And if we did, where was it in the ’60s and the ’70s? And all this bullying stuff we’re talking about for being gay and the suicides? Well where are the data back in the ’60s and the ’70s, you think we didn’t record data on kids who were committing suicide, on kids who were being beaten up for sexual interests and that sort of thing, come on! There is such an ignorance of our history, such an ignorance out there and we’ve maintained ignorance.

Reisman went on to argue that a child who would otherwise be a “normal, regular, human, heterosexual kid” is being brainwashed by sexual education classes to think he or she might be gay, transgender or “all kinds of other things.” And why are schools “creating” kids? Reisman says that is because they want “these kids become fodder for adult predators, that’s exactly what they become.”

These kids, their brains are plastic, they’re going to the classroom in school, they’re told now in kindergarten about various forms of sexual activity and ‘you should all be happy,’ ‘make love not war,’ though love now is war. The next thing you know they’re also being told that they really don’t know that they’re a normal, regular, human, heterosexual kid, but they could be bisexual, they could be homosexual, they could be transgender, they could be all kinds of other things, well they couldn’t be unless there is some kind of identifiable proof that that actually is taking place and so we know that what we’re doing is traumatizing these children.

We’re turning our kids into incredibly confused activists, we’re creating these gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, undecided and indiscriminate, whatever the last one is I think there’s another one now, and you have to ask yourself: Who is doing this? What adults are pulling this one off? Because these kids become fodder for adult predators, that’s exactly what they become.

And while the two anti-gay activists in their last interview likened gays to Soviet spies and radical Islamists, LaBarbera and Reisman went straight to the Nazi comparisons this time, with LaBarbera warning that the “homosexual activists” who control Hollywood are “demonizing [Christians] like the Nazis used to do to the Jews.” Reisman eagerly agreed and likened public education in the US to schools in Hitler’s Germany and said that just as Nazis put up Hitler posters instead of the Ten Commandments, “here in the United States we removed the Ten Commandments but we didn’t put up Hitler we put up the AIDS posters, which is just as telling, isn’t it?”

LaBarbera: Homosexual activists in many ways drive our culture, they decide what’s going to be in a movie, we see all the portrayals, homosexuals are the most positively portrayed in the movies and on TV, Christians are often negatively portrayed and stereotyped. In many ways, in fact Judith you are Jewish, I think you’re starting to see Hollywood what they’re doing to Christians and to people of faith who actually adhere to traditional values, they’re demonizing them like the Nazis used to do to the Jews. They would compare Jews to rats and we see these vicious, ugly caricatures of Christians coming out of Hollywood. How did we go from that in such a short amount of time to homosexuality being deviant conduct which wasn’t spoken about to now driving our culture?

Reisman: You answered it. I mean it’s not that much time when you think that Germany, Hitler’s Germany, I think was twenty years that went from a basically conservative German culture to the films being controlled by—I forgot which one—and the films being made that described what you are now describing for Christians well that was what they were doing for Jews and actually they included Christians in there quite often too, and the schools were taken over by the fascist government and the children were told that their parents, who were old-fashioned, were old-fashioned and you know you don’t have to tell your parents, you mustn’t tell your parents, what you’re learning here in school. They gutted the libraries of anything that was Christian in belief and they pulled down the Ten Commandments. You had the Ten Commandments all over the walls of the schools in Germany, just like we had in the United States of America, and so they had removed all the Ten Commandments and they put up of course Hitler. Well here in the United States we removed the Ten Commandments but we didn’t put up Hitler we put up the AIDS posters, which is just as telling, isn’t it?

Bryan Fischer has already made it clear this week that there cannot be any dialogue or compromise with those who do not share his views because, in his view, liberals "cannot be reasoned with ... they can only be defeated."

Fischer repeated this point again today while discussing the recent decision by Gallaudet University to place its chief diversity officer on paid administrative leave for signing petition aimed at overturning Maryland's marriage equality law, saying it proved that the Constitution and the "homosexual agenda" cannot co-exist and so Christians "cannot give an inch, we cannot give one centimeter, we cannot give one millimeter to the forces of homosexual activism.  We cannot accommodate, we can't compromise, we can't find middle ground, they cannot be reasoned with, they cannot be compromised with, they cannot be dialogued with, they can only be defeated":

To promote Americans For Truth About Homosexuality’s fall banquet, keynote speaker and pseudo-scientist Judith Reisman of Liberty University appeared on AFTAH Radio Hour with Peter LaBarbera to discuss the fictional connection between pedophilia and homosexuality. According to LaBarbera, “many homosexual men were victims of predators, older men, as teenage boys they were seduced into the lifestyle,” and once again insisted that CNN anchor Don Lemon is gay because he was molested.

Reisman argued that pedophiles have targeted the government, the military and schools for infiltration like Soviet spies in order to seek power.

LaBarbera: Judith do you think they are going to succeed in creating sympathy for pedophiles?

Reisman: They already have, this is growing. Let’s understand something; you have many pederasts and pedophiles in positions of power. I thought about writing a book years ago called ‘Pedophiles in Power,’ you don’t get to where we are unless you have so to speak spies in the woodwork, you know? Through World War II some of our top people were working for the Russians and they were advising Franklin Delano Roosevelt. So you have to have people in power, in top positions of power, both in the military by the way, in the church and in the school in order to create the kind of—

LaBarbera: So Judith you’re saying you can’t get to this level of influence without people in high places and of course we’ve seen that also with the homosexual movement and other movements.

LaBarbera and Reisman agreed that the California law banning sexual orientation conversion therapy is designed to help child predators convince their victims that they are gay and therefore increase the gay “power structure.”

LaBarbera: Because of this law, this oppressive law that the homosexualists have pushed, trying to ban treatment for people with this unwanted homosexual attraction that now a boy becomes a victim of say an older man, a pedophile, and he won’t be able to get treatment to reverse that homosexual ideation that’s going on in that kid’s mind.

Reisman: I think that’s the design of the bill, let’s be frank, that’s the design of the bill. There are people in high places, powerful people, who do not want children to reverse their—get straightened out. They don’t want that, they do want to increase their power and their power is based and increased in the numbers of people who self-identify as homosexuals or bisexual or transgender and so forth and so forth. The power lay in the population, the power lay in increasing the number of people who self-identify as dysfunctional but think that that’s normal. The bill in California is designed to increase that power structure, the voting bloc if you will.

LaBarbera’s co-host, pastor John Kirkwood, called the “homosexual movement” the “greatest threat to freedom” in the US and LaBarbera said gays and lesbians are “similar to the Muslims, when they get the power that’s when they start oppressing freedom.”

LaBarbera: There are sectors of society that don’t want kids, little boys and girls to get help with unwanted homosexual attractions. We always said it was coming, we said that when the homosexualists, which are people promoting homosexuality in our culture, when they get the power it’s sort of similar to the Muslims, when they get the power that’s when they start oppressing freedom. John, it is an outrage that you as a parent in California if this bill is signed by Governor Jerry Brown and the gay activists are pushing hard for it to be signed, you as a parent, if you are in California you could not have the freedom to give the treatment you want for your son who might have been molested by a pedophile or by a juvenile, Judith’s been talking about these juvenile predations or say a teenage boy seduces another teenage boy or say a twelve year old boy into homosexuality, you would now be restricted, your options would be limited because they want that idea to get out there that the child is gay.

Kirkwood: This is why that I say the greatest threat to freedom, I normally say religious freedom, in the United States is the homosexual movement. They won’t be satisfied until they control everything.

Patrick Wooden, a favorite pastor of the National Organization for Marriage, spoke to anti-gay writer Michael Brown on Line of Fire Radio yesterday where he went after President Obama and the Democratic Party’s endorsement of marriage equality. While he shied away from his usual topics about how gay men need to wear diapers until their early death as a result of a life of shoving cellphones, baseball bats and animals up their anuses, Wooden argued that President Obama is contributing to the pain of the “decimated” black community by favoring marriage equality and is sending a terrible message to black children.

My position is African Americans are people also, we want the same things that all other Americans want, we are a part of this country, we have built this country, so we should be counted also and considered. Our families, our homes have been decimated, and with the things that have happened in our community, do we need to add to it a President where little black boys and little black girls are hearing this great man in the most powerful position in the land say ‘I believe same-sex marriage is the direction that the country ought to go in.’ Then that same little black boy or little black girl looks to the heroes in the black community at the local level which are the preachers and the community leaders and the NAACP leaders and then they see the leaders line up and follow this man. What kind of message are we sending our children? And we’re the most vulnerable.

While Wooden said he doesn’t plan to vote for Romney since he is “a bishop in a cult,” he did warn that marriage equality will ultimately force churches to hold same-sex wedding ceremonies and end the freedom of religion. He said that the Democratic Party platform “actively supports evil” by endorsing abortion rights and gay equality, calling same-sex marriage “the greatest oxymoron that I know” and asserting that its supporters have embarked on “an evil endeavor.” Christians who back Democrats therefore are “sowing to the flesh and they’re going to reap corruption, they are sowing to the wind and they’re going to reap the whirlwind.”

The same God of the Bible who will not allow me to vote for the most pro-abortion, same-sex marriage president that we’ve ever had will not allow me to vote for a bishop in a cult. Now, some argue that well even though Mitt Romney is a Mormon there are social positions that he takes that those who are Christians agree with, such as Mitt Romney has said he will protect the sanctity of marriage, he does protect freedom of religion, things like that. Because we do know that at the end of the day this same-sex marriage thing is all about our maintaining the right to practice our religion the way we have been practicing it because if those on the other side had their way I think that where it’s headed is if all the laws were overturned churches could possibly, their 501c3 status could be challenged if they didn’t allow members of the same-sex to use their sanctuary to perform weddings and no true man of God will allow that.

If any platform, if you look at the two platforms and as you said in your opening this show doesn’t support the Republican Party or the Democratic Party, but of the two platforms only one platform actively supports evil. Abortion is evil. Same-sex marriage, the greatest oxymoron that I know, is evil. Those who are trying to redefine marriage, that is an evil endeavor. The Bible says let God be true and every man a liar, now when Christians line up behind anyone whether they’re black or white who are promoting evil, then they are sowing to the flesh and they’re going to reap corruption, they are sowing to the wind and they’re going to reap the whirlwind.

Save California’s Randy Thomasson went on yet another anti-gay tirade while appearing on The Janet Mefferd Show, this time excoriating gay rights advocates for successfully pushing a new law in California that puts limits on harmful and discredited sexual orientation conversion therapy. He claimed that the Democrats who backed the measure decided “to do the Devil’s work” and “to go against religious freedom, against free speech, against the freedom to even love your own child and care for your own child.” He argued that LGBT people were likely abused as children but because of the new law, parents will be prohibited by the “completely insane” law from providing counseling to a child who survived sexual abuse.

Let’s talk about hepatitis, let’s talk about HPV, let’s talk about a whole host of sexually transmitted diseases, let’s talk about higher cancer rates for homosexual men, let’s talk about earlier deaths for homosexual men; you’ve got to realize the harm of children going into this lifestyle, it puts them at greater risk of all of these ills. Again, the Democrats are saying ‘no, no, no,’ we want to go with our homosexual activist friends, our volunteers, our political supporters, we are going to go against religious freedom, against free speech, against the freedom to even love your own child and care for your own child, and we are going to do the Devil’s work here and that exactly what’s been done.

To label something that is helping the child overcome a conflict, the feelings that have resulted from trauma, you cannot say that it’s harmful to be helpful to a child deal with trauma, it’s absolutely opposite of that. So the state is coming in to say ‘let’s push aside parental rights, this is a health or safety issue’ is completely bonkers, it’s calling black white and white black, it’s calling right wrong and wrong right, it’s completely insane and it’s very angering to think about the child who belongs to the parents and the parents have a God-given right to seek what’s best for that child and if the child’s been molested at a camp or somewhere else, the parent wants counseling for the gender-confusion that’s resulted, even if the parent wants the counseling, even if the parent pays for the counseling, even if the parent finds the counseling, the state says to the parent ‘you can’t do that’ and tells the molested child ‘no help for you.’

Later, Thomasson said that gay rights supporters want to “wipe out all the competition” by placing limits on the pseudo-scientific practice, warning that next the state might decide to ban vaccinations or chemotherapy. He concluded by telling Mefferd that gays and lesbians should not receive civil rights protections since they can change their sexual orientation as “people get out of addictions in America when they work at it and try,” calling gay rights “dangerous for America” and “antithetical to a free society.”

Look at what we have in our society, we have conflicts in society, we have disagreements in society, but do we allow those who are in power to wipe out all competition? In fact, we have rules about companies can’t have a monopoly, right? The US Supreme Court has been involved in those types of rulings. But here we see that a rival, homosexual activists say ‘we want to wipe out our rivals here,’ look if something is controversial then you can’t wipe it out, otherwise, you have to apply the same rule: let’s wipe out regressive therapy, which is controversial, let’s wipe out tarot card therapy, let’s wipe out chiropractic care, let’s wipe out vaccinations, let’s wipe out chemotherapy, see you can’t in a free society get rid of all controversies, you have to allow controversy and disagreement within a free society.

Homosexuality is not biologically based, we’ve never heard bisexuality or transsexuality is biological, it’s obviously a chosen thing. But when you look at what has happened is it’s been turned into a minority even though a minority civil rights protected class requires that there be an immutable, non-changeable, characteristic. We have thousands and thousands of former homosexuals, showing that change occurs; people get out of addictions in America when they work at it and try. Now we have this turned into a hammer upon everyone else; ‘gay rights’ defeats and trumps everyone else’s rights who disagree and that’s why it’s so dangerous for America, gay rights are antithetical to a free society.

The American Family Association’s Bryan Fischer and Buster Wilson have recently embraced the term “Big Gay” to describe gay rights advocates as part of an attempt by the group to negatively depict the gay community, much like how “Big Tobacco” is used in anti-smoking campaigns. Yesterday while speaking to Sandy Rios, AFA president Tim Wildmon said that his organization will never stop fighting “Big Gay” and exposing the “destructive lifestyle and behavior” of gays and lesbians. Rios warned that the “homosexual movement” is “moving in lightning speed,” denouncing a new California law limiting ex-gay therapy and criticizing the Justice Department, the FBI and the CIA for hiring openly gay employees.

Wildmon: What we reject is the idea that you can take homosexuality which in the Bible is defined as a sin and you look in Romans 1, it’s unnatural, it’s immoral, it’s unhealthy, and laud it and call it wonderful and say this is the same as heterosexuality. It is not. Now you can sin outside of marriage heterosexually as well, this is true, but we don’t call it wonderful and gay and have pride parades about it. We know this is a destructive lifestyle and behavior and these people need Jesus to save them from it, so that’s what we talk about here on this network. Yes we talk about the politics of what we call now Big Gay, the homosexual agenda, and we need to confront it, and when you do you are going to be called hateful, that comes with the territory now. But we also need to talk about as individuals what these people need, they need what we all need and we need the Lord.

Rios: This whole business of what’s going on in the homosexual movement we’ve got to cover here on the show and I’ve got to get to that because California just yesterday became the first state to ban gay reparative therapy for kids. I mean, there’s so many stories coming out it’s just moving in lightning speed. At the Justice Department, so many homosexual men and women are being hired to serve at Justice and now that is extending to the FBI and CIA. I can go on and on about what’s happening in our country.

Bishop E.W. Jackson has embarked on a campaign following his failed Senate bid to convince black voters to reject the Democrats’ “anti-God” views and partake in a “mass exodus of Christians from the Democrat party.” Today in an opinion piece in the Washington Times, “Blacks are abandoning the Democratic Party,” Jackson asserted that African Americans will abandon the Democratic party over the issues of abortion rights and gay equality, incredulously asking how Democrats have “managed to hold on to black Christians in spite of an agenda worthy of the Antichrist?” “Mr. Obama’s commitment to the radical left’s anti-Christian, anti-God politics may cost him the election,” Jackson writes, “because a constituency he has taken for granted has awakened to the truth that being the first black president is not enough.” Of course, recent polling shows that Obama has a commanding 94-0 lead among black voters.

I was raised to be an FDR Democrat because my father was a young man during the Depression and credited President Roosevelt with saving him from starvation. “The Republicans only care about rich people,” I was told. This was more than 40 years ago. In spite of my childhood indoctrination, as a young man newly committed to my Christian faith, I had a crisis of conscience in the late 1970s. Massachusetts Democrat Barney Frank was pushing the homosexual agenda. How could I, as a Christian, be committed to a party led by Mr. Frank? In the end, I could not. My desire to be in a right relationship with God and my faith was greater than my desire to be approved by my father, my family or the black community. My wife and I, then Massachusetts residents, left the Democratic Party in 1980 and never looked back.

Democrats now have fully embraced an abortion policy that amounts to infanticide. They have also made the lesbian-homosexual-bisexual-transgender agenda their vision for America. How have they managed to hold on to black Christians in spite of an agenda worthy of the Antichrist? They have shown a ruthless willingness to frighten black voters with outright lies about the plans of conservatives and Republicans. Vice President Joseph R. Biden’s “they gonna put y’all back in chains” was not a gaffe. It is part of the Democrats’ strategy of using fear to keep blacks as a captive audience. I always have believed that such lies could not distract black voters forever or keep them from noticing the increasingly anti-Christian radicalism of the Democratic Party.

Now black churchgoers are being told to suppress Christian conscience and remain beholden to a party that demands their loyalty while insulting their faith and blaspheming their God. For the first time in 50 years, there is a discussion going on in the black community as to whether their loyalty to the Democratic Party is deserved. Many black pastors are telling their members to stay home, rather than vote for a black president who has done more to advance the cause of homosexuality and abortion than that of black Americans.

We are hearing the rumblings of a fissure between black Christians and the Democratic Party. My organization, Staying True to America’s National Destiny (Stand), is calling for a mass exodus of Christians from the Democratic Party. We held a news conference at the National Press Club on Sept. 10 and produced several videos. This not only has prompted discussion, but perhaps has launched a movement. Mr. Obama’s commitment to the radical left’s anti-Christian, anti-God politics may cost him the election, because a constituency he has taken for granted has awakened to the truth that being the first black president is not enough.
