Barber: 'Shame on Hillary Clinton' For Not Attacking Gays in AIDS Conference Speech

Like most other Religious Right activists, Liberty Counsel’s Matt Barber was enraged by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s announcement of a major push for LGBT rights abroad, even going so far as to say that reports of anti-LGBT persecution are “nonsense.” Today, Barber slammed Clinton in an interview with the American Family Association’s OneNewsNow for her speech to the International AIDS Conference in Washington, D.C., in which she called on policymakers to create a “blueprint” for “achieving an AIDS-free generation,” because she failed to attack the gay community.

Listen:

Shame on Hillary Clinton. In choosing to ignore the reality that in the United States people are primarily infected with AIDS through deviant homosexual behavior, she has essentially postured with a false air of resolve while cowardly refusing to address the real cause of AIDS in the U.S. and that’s homosexual behavior.

We all know better and so should Hillary Clinton. She missed a real opportunity here to show courage and discourage people from engaging in the high-risk behavior of homosexuality that spreads AIDS.

Fischer: 'Big Gay' Wants 'To Go Ahmadinejad on Chick-fil-A'

Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association is warning that “the bullies at ‘Big Gay,’” the term he is now using to describe gay rights advocates, are “trying to go Ahmadinejad on Chick-fil-A, they want them wiped off the face of the map.” While comparing gay rights supporters to the Iranian president who wants to see Israel “wiped off the map,” Fischer said that gays don’t face discrimination but are actually oppressive, intolerant bullies.

Championing Mike Huckabee’s effort to encourage people to eat at Chick-fil-A restaurants as a way to reward the company for their long-standing anti-gay politics, he called on potential customers “to buy out every chicken sandwich that Chick-Fil-A makes on August 1, let’s have them run out of chickens, let’s send them out behind the restaurant with an ax to cut the heads off of more chickens to feed people because they are selling so many chicken sandwiches.”

Watch:

And they’re trying to present themselves as these innocent little victims, helpless and hapless, being picked on across the fruited plain. And they’re not. They are bullies. They are intolerant, they are vicious, they are mean, and they are after people of faith. There’s no ‘live and let live’ with the bullies at Big Gay. They don’t know anything about tolerance. Tolerance is not in their vocabulary. They have no tolerance for those who support the institution of the natural family. None, zip, zero. They have no room in their so-called ‘diversity world’ for people who believe in natural marriage. They claim to be all about diversity, but there is no room in their world for anybody that believes in traditional moral values. They’re absolutely intolerant and they have no room, they’re anti-diversity. So I’m talking about this with regard specifically to Chick-fil-A. And I am pointing out specifically that the bullies at Big Gay are coming after Chick-fil-A. They’re trying to take them out, they’re trying to obliterate them, they’re trying to go Ahmadinejad on Chick-fil-A, they want them wiped off the face of the map.

Let’s make it our goal to buy out every chicken sandwich that Chick-fil-A makes on August 1. Let’s have them run out of chickens, let’s send them out behind the restaurant with an ax to cut the heads off of more chickens to feed people because they’re selling so many chicken sandwiches.

David Barton likens Same-Sex Marriage to Horse, Dog Marriage

Right-wing pseudo-historian David Barton, who compares homosexuality to smoking and celebrates the fact that there isn’t a cure for AIDS, said today on WallBuilders Live! with co-host Rick Green that same-sex marriage is much like letting people marry horses or dogs. Discussing the Defense of Marriage Act, Barton warned that marriage equality proponents may try to “evangelize” their belief that “marriage shouldn’t be between a man and a woman” since “that’s unfair for two men who want to be together, or two women, or a horse and a dog, or whatever it is.”

Barton: Other courts, other areas started saying ‘well you know we can’t really justify this position anymore, marriage shouldn’t be between a man and a woman, that’s unfair for two men who want to be together, or two women, or a horse and a dog, or whatever it is,’ so at that point as it looked like the states were starting to mess around the problem you have is the contracts in one state are supposed to be honored by another. So if I make a business contract with you in Texas and we move to Oklahoma, that contract is going to be recognized in Oklahoma. Well on marriage, that’s a contract. So if one state suddenly says we want same-sex marriage and in Texas we say we don’t, just because you got married in Vermont and moved to Texas doesn’t mean we have to recognize your contract.

So that ability of saying one contract is going to be forced on another caused Congress to act in 1996 and say look the federal government and the states both have to deal with marriage, now here’s what we’re doing, on the federal level we are telling you marriage is a man and a woman and everything that deals with marriage on the federal level is going to be considered a man and a woman. They said as far as the states, you states are not going to be bound by the marriage decision of another state. Green: You do it the way you want to do it and don’t expect to be able to export that to another state.

Barton: Don’t use that to try to evangelize the other forty-nine states.

Green: And we won’t let the other states force it on you.

Barton: That’s right.

Ed Meese, who served as attorney general under Ronald Reagan, told Barton and Green that the legalization of same-sex marriage in several states “just shows how the culture has deteriorated over two centuries,” and asserted that same-sex marriage is an attempt to “defy nature.”

Green: It’s almost like they are making it up on the fly, the actual language of the Constitution doesn’t matter; it’s what these judges that happen to be on the bench at the time think it should mean.

Meese: The founders, we go back to the founders, the reason that they didn’t put something in the Constitution to say that marriage is the union of a man and a woman is nobody would have even thought at that time that there could be any other. It just shows how the culture has deteriorated over two centuries.

Green: You also mention that the Defense of Marriage Act should control what’s happening on the military side of things. How have they managed to push through so much with the military in the Obama administration on this issue working around DOMA?

Meese: Well that’s still an open issue and that’s why DOMA is very important. For example, whether chaplains should be required to participate in a homosexual marriage ceremony; whether that would be required as part of their duties, that’s where DOMA is a very important statute. This idea that somehow there is some obscure right in the Constitution to defy nature, as they do in homosexual marriage, is just ludicrous.

Anti-Gay Groups Praise the Boy Scouts for Banning 'Individuals who Flaunt Unnatural Vice'

The Religious Right continues to applaud the Boy Scouts of America’s decision to reaffirm their ban on openly gay members. Today, Tradition, Family, Property Student Action director John Ritchie emailed members today to thank the Boy scouts for “resisting the encroachments of the pro-homosexual lobby” and “the ‘rainbow’ revolution” in order to “respect moral values and protect minors from potential abuse” and “exclude individuals who flaunt unnatural vice”:

Why is the homosexual movement targeting the Boy Scouts?

Here's the reason:

Because the Boy Scout Oath talks about honor, duty to God, and moral uprightness, which necessarily excludes sinful lifestyles.

You see, just last week the Boy Scouts of America confirmed a long-standing policy barring open homosexuality from its membership ranks. As a private organization serving 2.7 million boys, they have the RIGHT to make sound policies that respect moral values and protect minors from potential abuse.

Click here to thank the Boy Scouts for standing strong

Even the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Boy Scouts' right to exclude individuals who flaunt unnatural vice.

But the "rainbow" revolution – aided by the liberal mass media – unleashed a barrage of pressure against the Boy Scouts, as if it were a crime to stand firm on moral values and do what is best for our youth.

Thank you for standing strong! I applaud the Boy Scouts of America for resisting the encroachments of the pro-homosexual lobby. Please continue to hold fast to the virtues expressed in the Scout Oath: Honor, duty to God, and moral uprightness.

Gary Bauer of the Campaign for Working Families warned that the “militant homosexual movement” has revealed itself to be “extremely intolerant”:

I want to close today with a tip of my hat to the Boy Scouts of America. They have been quietly reviewing their policy over the years that bans homosexuals from serving as scoutmasters for obvious reasons. The organization has faced unrelenting pressure from the militant homosexual movement, left-wing politicians, Hollywood and even corporate elites to change the policy.

Yesterday a BSA spokesman told the Associated Press that an 11-member committee unanimously reaffirmed the ban as "absolutely the best policy for the Boy Scouts."

Not surprisingly, the so-called tolerant left is having fits, and is extremely intolerant of the Scout's decision to maintain their values. Please take a moment to encourage the Boy Scouts of America for standing firm.

Janet Porter of Faith 2 Action in her radio bulletin today also hailed the BSA for “protecting the boys”:

The decision is final.

Homosexuals will still not be allowed to serve as leaders in the Boy Scouts. That was the good news coming from the offices of the Boy Scouts of America last week. An 11-member special committee, formed by top Boy Scout officials two years ago, concluded that it would be best to reaffirm their longstanding policy of protecting the boys from leaders who favor or engage in same-sex relationships.

You may recall that an earlier challenge of their policy went the whole way to the Supreme Court, resulting in a decision twelve years ago affirming the exclusion of homosexuals from positions of leadership.

Please call the Scouts today at 972-580-2000 to express your support for a very good decision!

Linda Harvey: 'Diabolical' LGBT-Inclusive Education Leads to 'Abuse'

Mission America president Linda Harvey hosted Brian Camenker of MassResistance on her radio show this weekend, where the two lamented the growing number of schools that offer LGBT-inclusive clubs and curriculum. Camenker said that in Massachusetts LGBT rights advocates are “targeting school children,” even with lessons about sadomasochism, while Harvey claimed their “diabolical” programs are fostering “tragedies” and “abuse.”

Listen:

Camenker: The homosexual activism in schools, targeting school children, started in Massachusetts in the late 80s and early 90s.

Harvey: With Kevin Jennings and GLSEN.

Camenker: Kevin Jennings, the first gay clubs in the schools were done by him in the late 80s and the early 90s, he was the one who was brought in by then-Republican Gov. Bill Weld to design the plans, to push this in the public schools and force it into schools across the state. That’s been the blueprint for bringing it around the country. Massachusetts, I believe, puts more money into pushing homosexuality into the schools than probably the rest of the country combined.

But if you want to see where your future is, this is the place. It’s very, very troubling; it’s not pretty at all. We are doing a multi-part series on what we’ve exposed and what we’ve seen, and it ranges from topics from sadomasochism—sadomasochism!—and transgenderism, telling kids that they can change their sex, it’s an absurd idea anyway, this whole range of things and people need to see.

Camenker: There’s no stopping with what these people want to do with your kids, there is an obsession there and it is very, very troubling.

Harvey: It is very troubling and it’s really diabolical, it really is. Our neglect and our benign acceptance of how they position it, ‘that this is just the way kids are, they are born that way and this is identity,’ is allowing all of these tragedies and this abuse to happen to our kids.

Camenker: Yes, absolutely.

Perkins: Google Trying to 'Destroy' Values with Gay Rights Initiative, Should Expect 'Blow Back'

On his daily radio bulletin, Family Research Council president Tony Perkins joined other Religious Right activists in condemning Google for its Legalize Love campaign to advocate against laws criminalizing homosexuality. “Thanks to a new campaign, Google's approach to traditional values is to search—and destroy,” Perkins said, and later baselessly claimed that companies which favor gay rights “take a financial hit” and warned that Google “shouldn’t be surprised by the blow back” for its decision. After defending countries that criminalize homosexuality, Perkins said that “political neutrality is what most users are searching for,” even though the FRC lauds and commends companies like Chik-fil-A which get involved in political efforts opposing gay rights.

Earlier, the American Family Association’s Buster Wilson weighed a Google boycott and Janet Porter of Faith2Action urged listeners to stop making Google searches and using Gmail.

After years on the Internet, Google is stepping into a different domain—politics. Hello, I'm Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in Washington. Thanks to a new campaign, Google's approach to traditional values is to search—and destroy. The web giant just kicked off a worldwide push called "Legalize Love," aimed at breaking down the barriers to homosexuality around the globe. Their biggest targets? Countries that have moral objections to same-sex relationships. "We want our employees who are gay or lesbian or transgender to have the same experience outside the office as they do in the office," said a spokesman. That means actively fighting laws in other countries that aren't as gay-friendly as Google would like. After watching Target and J.C. Penney take a financial hit after endorsing same-sex marriage, Google should know better. They can push to "Legalize Love," but they shouldn't be surprised by the blow back. Because when it comes to Google, political neutrality is what most users are searching for.

PFAW Calls Out Chick-fil-A’s Hypocrisy

Under fire for anti-gay comments by its president, Chick-fil-A issued a statement this week saying its “culture and service tradition in our restaurants is to treat every person with honor, dignity and respect.” The statement failed to mention Chick-fil-A’s other tradition of treating millions of Americans like second-class citizens by contributing millions of dollars to anti-gay organizations.

People For the American Way President Michael Keegan issued the following statement:

“Chick-fil-A said that ‘going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.’ Left unsaid is that the company pours millions of dollars into anti-gay groups that work in the political arena to change the government’s policy on same-sex marriage. But it gets worse. Many of these groups not only oppose marriage equality, they’re actively promoting bigotry and opposing efforts to end anti-gay discrimination and bullying.

“Chick-fil-A should either cut ties with these groups or own up to its bigotry. A shorter and more accurate version of today’s statement would’ve read, ‘We still don’t like gays, but we do like money, so going forward we’re doing this without any fingerprints.’”

Chambers: Gays Using Tactics 'Employed by Hitler and Marx' to Advance the 'Gaying of the United States'

Update: Jim Burroway notes that the essay, posted as Charisma's headline article under "7/20/2012," dates back to 2004. However, the article reads, "Six states, plus Washington, D.C., have legalized same-sex marriage, and legal battles are waging in nearly every other state to accomplish the same," which was not true until last year.

Update II: It appears Charisma has removed the article from its website, but can be read in its entirety below.

Update III: Chambers now says the article does not reflect his current views and has been edited by Charisma:

I am on the beach, literally, with my family enjoying the dog days of summer. I have no idea why Charisma decided to reach so deep, edit and republish an 8 year old article that I am embarrassed that I ever wrote. Our PR team has asked them to remove the article and not to repost it. When I am back in town I will contact them, as well.

****

Alan Chambers of Exodus International faced an onslaught of attacks from his Religious Right colleagues after he said gay Christians could go to Heaven and distanced Exodus from promoting sexual orientation conversion therapy, but today in Charisma Magazine, Chambers appears to be trying to win back his anti-gay allies with his lament that the “land of the free and the home of the brave is morphing into a homosexual haven.” Chambers describes his escape “from the seemingly unbreakable bondage of homosexuality” and also thanks his parents for teaching him that “homosexuality was anti-creation and anti-God.”

He argues that gay rights advocates are using public schools and absent parents to, like “Hitler and Marx,” attempt to “radically influence the hearts and minds of young people” through the media and education. “The gay lobby has taken America hostage,” Chambers warns, asserting that “if this process is not stopped, the gaying of the United States will begin to affect religious freedom.” Have you noticed that America is becoming a gay nation? The land of the free and the home of the brave is morphing into a homosexual haven.

Gay activists want much more than legalized gay marriage. Are you comfortable with their vision for our future?

Have you noticed that America is becoming a gay nation? The land of the free and the home of the brave is morphing into a homosexual haven.

Just look at the top programs on television or listen to the most popular actors and musicians. They are celebrating all things gay: gay marriage, gay adoptions, gay cruises, gay politics, Gay Days at Disney World, gay-friendly businesses and, of course, gay churches. And more and more Americans are applauding what was once considered perverse.

How did this happen? We have been naive targets of the most successful marketing campaign in history.

We shouldn't be surprised that a few powerful people were able to lure mainstream Americans into accepting homosexuality as a lifestyle. Marshall Kirk and Erastes Pill predicted in 1987 that this would happen. In an article called "The Overhauling of Straight America," Kirk and Pill wrote in Guide magazine:

"You can forget about trying to persuade the masses that homosexuality is a good thing. But if only you can get them to think that it is just another thing, with a shrug of their shoulders, then your battle for legal and social rights is virtually won."

Kirk and Pill called for a "large-scale media campaign" to change the image of gays in America. This campaign, they said, would involve six steps: (1) Talk about gays and gayness as loudly and often as possible; (2) Portray gays as victims, not as aggressive challengers; (3) Give protectors a just cause; (4) Make gays look good; (5) Make the victimizers look bad; and (6) Solicit funds.

All six of these objectives have been successfully accomplished in only 17 years. We now live in a society in which some of the most influential individuals are either living as homosexuals or relentlessly promoting how normal it is to live this way.

Most members of the Hollywood media elite are involved in this subversive campaign. Homosexuality has become a part of almost every movie plot, sitcom, song, acceptance speech or liberal political campaign mantra.

And we all know what happens to those who refuse to conform to the groupthink mentality of the politically correct. Just ask Laura Schlessenger, the popular talk-show host whose TV show was canceled because she had the audacity to suggest that homosexuality is a biological abnormality.

She only said what many pro-gay organizations' websites imply in more couched terms. Yet Dr. Laura's sponsors pulled their support.

So much for freedom of speech.

You may wonder how I can be so direct and opinionated about this issue. I believe I have a right to warn people about the gay agenda because I was at one time trapped in a homosexual lifestyle. My attractions were exclusively homosexual, and I bought into the lie that I must have been born gay.

Though I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Jesus as my Savior at age 6, I was still susceptible to sexual immorality. Though I never chose my homosexual feelings (who would?), I did choose to act on them.

I tried going to a gay church to see if I could reconcile homosexuality with Christianity. I attended gay pride rallies and volunteered to work for AIDS organizations. I lived in a shame-based cycle of sexual encounters that left me empty--until the day God sent two Christians into a gay bar to encourage me, walk me out the door and help me overcome my unhealthy behavior pattern.

Twenty years later I am a different man. After much counseling, prayer, obedience, tears, deliverance and daily submission to God's will, I am free from the seemingly unbreakable bondage of homosexuality. I am living testimony that gays can change.

As a homosexual I suffered in one broken relationship after another and struggled to find inner peace. I fought for satisfaction through sex, social acceptance and the pursuit of rights. But I finally realized that only Jesus Christ can fill the voids of life. So I chose to follow Him.

Brainwashing America

My parents had a very different view of homosexuality than most young people today. When I was growing up, the only thing I ever heard about homosexuality was negative.

My dad's office was in downtown Orlando, Fla., near a local scenic spot called Lake Eola. At that time the park near this lake had a bad reputation because so many gay men went there for anonymous sex. My dad often told me and my brother when we were making our clothing choices that he didn't want us to grow up and become "like the queers down at Eola Park."

Obviously my father lacked compassion for homosexuals, and no one should use such unkind remarks to refer to other people. My dad did not understand the complex psychological, medical and emotional reasons people become gay. But he did understand that homosexuality is innately wrong.

My parents' generation was the last to see this issue in such absolute terms, unfortunately. Many of today's GenXers think being gay is just an "alternative lifestyle." They've seen enough episodes of Will & Grace and listened to enough media propaganda to conclude that homosexuality is just one more way to express love.

Because my parents knew homosexuality was anti-creation and anti-God, they instilled in me some of those "old-fashioned" values that are greatly lacking in so many homes today. I'm thankful they did.

But many kids today are not so fortunate. From the public school system to the entertainment industry to government and military to businesses, homosexuality is now perhaps the most protected, promoted and endorsed lifestyle in our world.

We promote homosexuality on a daily basis when we subscribe to cable TV services, buy designer clothes or go to the bank. It's hard to find even one company essential to daily life in the 21st century that does not overtly or passively fund the advancement of homosexuality.

The growing trend in American society for the last 30 years has been for both parents to work (if a child is lucky enough to have a mother and father under the same roof) so that their families can enjoy the "good life." With this trend came the routine that children in these homes go to school, come home, eat alone, watch television, surf the Internet and put themselves to bed--not to mention engage in sexually promiscuous behavior.

Pro-homosexual leaders realized the same truth employed by Hitler and Marx: To advance their agenda they must radically influence the hearts and minds of young people.

Because Mom and Dad are working all day and Susie and Junior are in school and then home alone, activists came up with a plan: Use public schools, television, the Internet and other youth-friendly venues to influence the way young people view homosexuality.

Under the guise of AIDS education, groups such as the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network gained access into public schools. Similarly, pro-homosexual activists ran for school board positions and partnered with every kid's favorite after-school babysitter, MTV. Teenagers got hooked on the Internet, which opened them up to a 24-hour source of temptation and perversion.

The plan worked. If you ask the average kid, even the average Christian kid, how they feel about homosexuality, nine out of 10 will tell you they believe it is genetic, normal and just like heterosexuality. We have allowed an entire generation of young people to be brainwashed with an alternate morality.

The Power of Words

Much of this brainwashing has come by way of buzzwords and phrases. For example, everyone has become accustomed to talking about "sexual orientation." Brilliant homosexuals intent on legitimizing homosexual behavior used this phrase to generalize all sexual conduct. Whether one is heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual or even pedophilic, all are lumped under this term.

Though homosexuality, bisexuality and pedophilia bring up negative, unpleasant or adverse reactions, "sexual orientation" seems nonoffensive. Lumping homosexuality in with heterosexuality under one definition helped homosexuality gain new credibility as at least a runner up, if not an equal to, heterosexuality.

Once "sexual orientation" was introduced into our vocabulary, it was then propagated throughout the media. Oprah Winfrey, Katie Couric and Peter Jennings inundated us with this new phraseology. Those battling for the acceptance of homosexuality experienced newfound respect from a culture that at one time used the unflattering term "sodomy" to denote homosexual practice.

With this new vocabulary ingrained in our subconscious, gay activists began fighting for protection from discrimination. They purposed to make it impossible for anyone to refuse restaurant service, housing, jobs, raises and promotions based on sexual orientation.

The Human Rights Campaign, the world's largest homosexual-rights advocacy group, reports that in 2002 more cities and counties added sexual orientation to their anti-discrimination ordinances than in any other year (a total of 15). In all, more than 140 cities and counties have ordinances protecting lesbians and gay men from discrimination, and 53 cities and counties now also protect the transgendered. Fourteen cities and two counties added gender identity to their anti-discrimination ordinances in 2002, an increase of more than 300 percent over 2001.

Where is this headed? And can we stop this process?

Sadly, much of the damage is already done. Our nation's moral fabric is unraveling and most of us don't even realize it.

The Supreme Court has legalized sodomy. Six states, plus Washington, D.C., have legalized same-sex marriage, and legal battles are waging in nearly every other state to accomplish the same. The mayor of San Francisco acted illegally by marrying same-sex couples, and yet he was not penalized for his actions.

Now, perhaps too late, we are waking up from a three-decade sleep to realize that the gay lobby has taken America hostage. I hope we are not so naive that we think their agenda stops with legalizing same-sex marriages. Ultimately, if this process is not stopped, the gaying of the United States will begin to affect religious freedom:

Churches will be forced to hire gay people in staff positions.

Christian broadcasters will be penalized or even shut down if they air programs that call homosexuality a sin.

Religious people will be jailed for violating "hate speech" laws--because they describe homosexuality as abnormal or immoral.

I hope we wake up soon. The apathy that has gripped the church for so long has been costly.

Martin Luther King Jr. said it best: "The church is neither the master of the state nor the servant of the state but rather the conscience of the state." The moral crisis we face today is the result not of sinners running loose but rather of Christians remaining passive and prayerless. Only if we repent, recommit and remobilize do we have hope for reformation.

LaBarbera: Gay Rights Advocates are 'Bullies' who are Becoming 'More Vicious'

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality joined the American Family Association’s Sandy Rios yesterday to discuss a lawsuit in Illinois challenging the state’s ban on same-sex marriage and the decision by the Boy Scouts of America to reaffirm their anti-gay policy. LaBarbera said that gay rights advocates are just like a school bully, and “like the little weakling in school who keeps giving up his lunch, we keep giving up our lunch to the bully and the bully is getting stronger and bolder and more vicious.” He warned that if Americans do not push back against “the homosexual lobby” then “they will run right over the country,” and praised the Boy Scouts of America for refusing to “cave into this latest pressure campaign by the homosexual lobby” and standing “with the silent majority.”

LaBarbera: With the homosexual movement, if you don’t stand up to the bully, you encourage the bully and what’s happening is America is caving into the bully. Like the little weakling in school who keeps giving up his lunch, we keep giving up our lunch to the bully and the bully is getting stronger and bolder and more vicious. We’ve got to stand up to the homosexual lobby, if we don’t they will run right over this country.

Rios: I know that that’s true, sad but true. Peter, we had some good news this week…I want your thoughts about the Boy Scouts holding firm on their resolution not to allow homosexual Boy Scouts or leaders, your thoughts about that?

LaBarbera: Yes, Sandy, it’s great news. The Boy Scouts didn’t cave into the bully, they stood with the silent majority who are with them and they refused to cave into this latest pressure campaign by the homosexual lobby, which by the way Sandy, included a high profile executive with Ernst & Young, a guy named Jim Turley, who was on the Scout executive board and he also tried to pressure the Scouts into going pro-homosexual and thank God they stood strong and they reaffirmed their longstanding policy.

Florida Family Association: Lada Gaga is Tricking Kids into being Gay

The one-man outrage outlet better known as the Florida Family Association is up in arms over a new partnership between Office Depot and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, including a $1 million donation. The FFA, led by David Caton, is demanding that Office Depot rescind the donation since Gaga’s Born This Way message, which isn’t so much a claim about sexuality as a celebration of individuality, is sending an “irresponsible message to many teens who would have eventually chose to be straight.”

“Thousands of kids who might have otherwise worked through their pubescent sexual identity issues will be inspired to accept the wrong choice based upon this unscientific, emotionally charged born this way propaganda,” the FFA writes, “What’s brave or kind about telling thousands of sexually frustrated teens that they were born this way when a high percentage of them would have ended up taking the straight heterosexual path for life?”

Thousands of kids who might have otherwise worked through their pubescent sexual identity issues will be inspired to accept the wrong choice based upon this unscientific, emotionally charged propaganda.

What’s brave or kind about telling thousands of sexually frustrated teens that they were Born This Way when a high percentage of them would have ended up taking the straight heterosexual path for life?

Please urge Office Depot to rescind their one million dollar pledge to Lady Gaga’s Born this Way Foundation.

Born this Way sends an irresponsible message to many teens who would have eventually chose to be straight. The one million dollar pledge from Office Depot to the Lady Gaga Born this Way Foundation will influence many teens to embrace homosexuality for their lifetime who may have otherwise worked through their crisis with straight results.

GovTeen Network’s Puberty101.com states: “It is normal for teens to experiment with same-sex friends, and does not necessarily mean that you’re gay. Most often, you’re not.” http://puberty101.com/boys/am-i-gay/

There is no scientific evidence that anyone is born this way (gay.) The American Psychiatric Association wrote the following information in a May 2002 article titled "Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Fact Sheet," published on its website Psych.org: "No one knows what causes heterosexuality, homosexuality or bisexuality.’ http://borngay.procon.org/view.answers.php?questionID=1335

Thousands of kids who might have otherwise worked through their pubescent sexual identity issues will be inspired to accept the wrong choice based upon this unscientific, emotionally charged born this way propaganda.

What’s brave or kind about telling thousands of sexually frustrated teens that they were born this way when a high percentage of them would have ended up taking the straight heterosexual path for life?

I urge Office Depot to rescind their one million dollar pledge to Lady Gaga’s Born this Way Foundation.

My future patronage of Office Depot depends upon your response.

AFA's One Million Moms Warns new Comedy Featuring Gay Couple will be 'Damaging to our Culture'

After taking on Ryan Murphy’s show Glee, now the American Family Association’s subgroup One Million Moms is going after a new show Murphy is producing, The New Normal. OMM blasts the show, a comedy about a gay couple and their surrogate, for “using public airwaves to continue to subject families to the decay of morals and values” and promoting content that is “harmful to our society” and “damaging to our culture.” They ask members to email NBC, threatening to contact the show’s sponsors (even though it hasn’t even aired yet) and asking NBC to “drop all plans to air the program” because it “features homosexuality in a positive light” and is “pushing sin directly into America's living rooms”:

NBC is using public airwaves to continue to subject families to the decay of morals and values, and the sanctity of marriage in attempting to redefine marriage. These things are harmful to our society, and this program is damaging to our culture.

OMM is prepared to contact any and all sponsors of this program if it is aired. It is proven this strategy works! It was not too long ago that NBC announced "The Playboy Club" was canceled after only three episodes because of lack of advertisers!

Millions of Americans strongly believe that marriage should be between one man and one woman. NBC's "The New Normal" is attempting to desensitize America and our children. It is the opposite of how families are designed and created. You cannot recreate the biological wheel.

As a mother and a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I am concerned about the proposed new NBC show called "The New Normal." This program is degrading to families and damaging to our culture.

I am appalled that NBC network intends to air a show that features homosexuality in a positive light. I strongly encourage NBC to drop all plans to air the program "The New Normal."

My family and I commit to contact sponsors that advertise during this program if your network follows through with this show.

I am also prepared to join thousands of other voices in urging advertisers to place it on their "do not advertise" list and consider pulling all ads from the NBC network in protest of pushing sin directly into America's living rooms.

I look forward to your response.

Bradlee Dean: 1.7% of Americans 'Are Responsible for All the Bad Things Going On in This Country'

Fresh after losing his lawsuit against Rachel Maddow and facing an order to pay her legal fees, rocker and right-wing activist Bradlee Dean spoke to talk show host Steve Deace this week, where Dean alleged that God is judging America for the crimes of an immoral minority and that “less than 1.7 percent of the people are the ones that are responsible for all the bad things going on in this country.” Dean did not say who constitutes the 1.7 percent, but he may be referring to a survey finding that 1.7 percent of Americans identify as gay or lesbian.

Dean: If God will establish this country through 56 signers that laid down their all for me and you, read the end of the Declaration of Independence, and less than 3% of this country to establish against the mightiest power in the world, at that time the British Empire, he can do it for us too. But what we see today is that less than 3 percent of America is being used to judge 300 million people, less than 1.7 percent of the people are the ones that are responsible for all the bad things going on in this country.

Dean and Deace also agreed that the Democratic Party, in Deace’s words, “now exists only for child-killers and those that are pedaling moral depravity” as “the entire leftist apparatus in this country have been taken over by the pro-sodomy groups and the abortion groups.” Dean went on to claim that during his performances at schools, which are supposed to send messages against drug abuse, he talks to students about why they should oppose homosexuality and abortion:

Deace: The non-negotiables for these people that they always want to talk about, and they always say we’re the ones with social issues; all these people want to talk about is child killing and sodomy, that’s all they ever want to talk about. I’ve watched the Daily Kos and their polling firm, the Public Policy Polling firm, I’ve dubbed them Polling People’s Privates because all they do every day throughout the country is poll people on sodomy, ‘please tell me you love sodomy.’ It’s like the entire leftist apparatus in this country have been taken over by the pro-sodomy groups and the abortion groups. They don’t care about blacks and minorities and the union guys that they used to talk about, they’ll shutdown Keystone Pipeline and not provide any of the union jobs they would’ve bent over backwards to provide 20 or 30 years ago, it’s like the entire Democratic Party now exists only for child-killers and those that are pedaling moral depravity, they are obsessed with it, it is the entirety of their worldview.

Dean: Amen, what do I say to that? You’re exactly right. I mean, when we go into the high school settings the kids are not for homosexuality, number one, and number two when you talk about the issue of infanticide once you show them a picture of what they do, the kids don’t even realize what it is and when they see it often times you turn and look at these little girls and these little boys, and I’m talking about high schools not colleges, that have tears in their eyes. They say, ‘what’s that,’ and once you explain it to them, all of the sudden they get a conversion in their heart and say, ‘oh I’m not for that.’ But yet you have the teacher over in the corner that’s agitated or totally offended by the fact that you just showed the kids what they advocate, what a bunch of hypocrisy, and you see this over and over throughout the country.

Religious Right Turns to Song to Defend Boy Scouts of America’s Ban on Gay Members

The Public Advocate, the fervently anti-gay group led by Virginia politician Eugene Delgaudio, devised a protest song, complete with references to Jerry Sandusky and child abuse, to condemn Ernst & Young CEO James Turley’s attempt to overturn the Boy Scouts of America’s ban on gay members, a ban that was recently reaffirmed.

Enjoy!

We've heard about dear Turley's plan,
And we're here to say,
It's sad that such a senseless man
Is with the B.S.A!

Morally, Morally,
That's the way we like.
Do not touch our girls and boys,
Just go take a hike.

We have seen just what can come
When anyone at all
Can get quite close to little ones
And frankly, we're appalled!

Morally, Morally,
What will it be like
If we let the unsavory
Get close to our dear tykes?

Morally, Morally,
That's the way we like.
Do not touch our girls and boys,
Just go take a hike.

You say that we should open doors
And welcome one and all.
With no attention to the boors
Who'll make our children bawl.

Morally, Morally,
Whatever shall be done
If we hire Sandusky,
and let him near our sons?

Morally, Morally,
That's the way we like.
Do not touch our girls and boys,
Just go take a hike.

Janet Porter Swears Off Google over Gay Rights Initiative

Earlier this month, Buster Wilson of the American Family Association weighed boycotting Google because of its new “Legalizing Love” campaign “to decriminalize homosexuality and eliminate homophobia around the world.” Today, Janet Porter of Faith2Action in her radio alert said that “While it may be next to impossible to avoid all of the social media that Google owns,” the “Legalize Love” initiative “is one more good reason to have your e-mail and conduct your searches with someone else.” In fairness, Porter should alert listeners to avoid Google rivals Apple, Microsoft and Yahoo for also favoring gay rights causes.

Promoting homosexual rights around the globe.

That’s the new campaign that Google has recently launched. In a written statement, the search engine giant announced that their new “Legalize Love” initiative seeks to promote human rights and tackle discrimination in countries with “anti-gay laws on the books.”

A spokesman said “we want our employees who are gay or lesbian or transgender to have the same experience outside the office as they do in the office.”

They say that the campaign will not push for the legalization of same-sex marriage, but the company has actively opposed the efforts to ban it in California.

While it may be next to impossible to avoid all of the social media that Google owns, this is one more good reason to have your e-mail and conduct your searches with someone else!

Fischer: Gay Biological Parents Should be Denied Custody and Only Allowed Supervised Visits

On his program yesterday, Bryan Fischer was discussing the study produced by professor Mark Regnerus purporting to show that children of same-sex parents fare worse than children of heterosexual parents and the news that the University of Texas would be conducting an investigation into his study, seeing the latter as proof that "the homosexual lobby is vicious, they are venomous, [and] they are filled with hatred."

During the discussion, Fischer cited the study as evidence that children in same-sex homes are at a higher risk for sexual molestation, prompting him to declare that any parent "who goes into the homosexual lifestyle after siring children" should be denied custody and only allowed to have supervised visits with their children:

Linda Harvey Laments that 'Effeminized' Gays are Overpowering Exodus International

Alan Chambers of Exodus International has drawn the ire of a number of Religious Right activists after stating that the group will no longer officially endorse sexual orientation conversion therapy but will instead encourage people to repress their sexual orientation. Chambers also upset anti-gay leaders when he said that openly gay Christians can go to Heaven and asserted that “99.9%” of people who tried conversion therapy experienced no real change. Linda Harvey of Mission America, who last week denounced Chambers for showing “very poor judgment,” criticized Chambers not only for his apparent turnabout on ‘ex-gay’ therapy but also for dropping the youth-oriented Day of Truth, which became Focus on the Family’s Day of Dialogue, over fears that it was contributing to anti-gay bias in schools.

Harvey on her Saturday radio show insisted that Chambers showed his willingness to “pull the plug on kids and just abandon them” by ending the Day of Truth, and is conforming to “the stereotype of men who are not being men.” “Well the people running over you are the homosexuals, how ironic is this?” Harvey asked. “How ironic is this that the ones with the real guts are the ones who are the more effeminized or non-masculine males who aren’t embracing their real, God-given masculine identity.” After arguing that anti-bullying programs have “corrupted” kids, Harvey tearfully called for people to pray that Chambers will stop “embarrassing and humiliating and hurting” his own family by talking about his own same-sex attractions and “come back to the Lord and publicly repudiate all of this and be healed.”

For Exodus, as a position led by Alan Chambers and he’s not the only one in leadership there that are really misled, for them to pull the plug on kids and just abandon them, this is just the stereotype of men who are not being men, shall I just go there, because that’s what it is. Just don’t defend anything, just let people run right all over you. Well the people running over you are the homosexuals, how ironic is this? How ironic is this that the ones with the real guts are the ones who are the more effeminized or non-masculine males who aren’t embracing their real, God-given masculine identity. But the ex-homosexuals, supposedly, or the leadership there, won’t stand up. Come on, you are our best witness out there. If you won’t stand for this and you will just let kids be corrupted in this way all by buying into this phony notion that in order to have ‘no climate of hate’ in schools you can’t say anything bad about homosexuality; no, to have a ‘no climate of hate’ in schools you need to be telling kids the truth, giving them real hope. I didn’t get to the other issues I was going to cover today but this one is important enough.

I hope folks that you would pray for Exodus, stand up for those people who are disaffiliating from the current regime but maybe they’ll change. Pray that Alan Chambers and the other folks there in leadership with these false and very damaging ideas and this horrendous witness that they are giving to America and to American Christianity will change their heart and come back to the Lord and repent in their own lives, they will stop dishonoring their own families and embarrassing and humiliating and hurting them, come back to the Lord and publicly repudiate all of this and be healed.

Fischer: Lesson from Penn State is to Keep Gays Out of the Boy Scouts

As Brian noted in the last post, the Religious Right is hard at work trying to link the abuse scandal at Penn State to homosexuality and it is no surprise to see the AFA's Bryan Fischer making the connection as well, declaring that the lesson to be taken from the Freeh Report is that gays must be kept out of the Boy Scouts:

Sandy Rios: Child Abuse is tied to 'Homosexual Recruitment'

Sandy Rios of the American Family Association last week discussed Louis Freeh’s report on the Penn State child abuse scandal, and like countless other anti-gay activists, tied child abuse to homosexuality, a claim dismissed by groups like the American Psychological Association but commonplace on the far-right fringe. While likening the Penn State scandal to child abuse found in the Catholic Church, Rios said that Catholic seminaries were “just festering with homosexual activism” and “homosexual recruitment,” leading to child molestation:

I think that the point I want to make with this is this sounds stunning, it sounds a little bit like the priest scandal, doesn’t it? Where all of this stuff went on, where Catholic seminaries, it was just festering with homosexual activism—homosexual recruitment, I should say. A priest just turning the other way or engaging in it and not doing anything about it. So you might say, ‘well that’s shocking,’ but I think this is typical.

Naturally, AFA’s Dianne Gramley and Liberty Counsel’s Matt Barber also linked gays to child abuse in the wake of the Freeh report:

Through all this we cannot ignore the fact that Jerry Sandusky's victims were all young boys. We can't ignore the homosexual aspect of this," Gramley offers. "And through Graham Spanier's tenure as president, he has brought more and more homosexual-oriented programming and events to the campus than ever before."

Adds Barber: "There also is an element of political correctness run amok here," he explains. "Anytime homosexuality is involved -- even though in this case it's a homosexual predator preying on children -- people seem to have this innate fear that they are going to be crushed by the sexual anarchist lobby if they speak out against it." Yet Barber says it is a fact that percentage-wise more sexual crimes are committed against children by homosexuals than by heterosexuals.

Linda Harvey: LGBT-Inclusive Schools Facilitate Child Abuse

Leave it to Mission America president Linda Harvey to claim that LGBT-inclusive Gay Straight Alliances and anti-bullying programs are creating a child abuse epidemic in public schools. “The unreported molestations facilitated daily by the ‘gay’ lobby’s insistence on access to children must surely dwarf anything done by Jerry Sandusky,” Harvey writes in World Net Daily, arguing that educators and gay rights advocates are “grooming” children “to become victims of homosexual pedophilia” and sending an “engraved invitation” to “untold numbers of pedophiles and pederasts”:

An investigative report has found that Penn State President Graham Spanier, head football coach Joe Paterno and others at Penn State turned a blind eye for years to Jerry Sandusky’s molestation of boys.

They were not the perpetrators, but their cover-up allowed Sandusky’s assaults to continue. When grown-ups who are in a position to prevent predatory behavior fail to do so, the message to the victims is, “This must be OK with them.” That further betrayal adds to bodily assault, the rape of the spirit.

Yet we have turned a blind eye to the same betrayal happening every day to thousands of children in our schools and communities. We should be outraged at the routine “grooming” of children in our schools to become victims of homosexual pedophilia. How are our kids being blithely set up to accept victimization when it happens?

So, the engraved invitation has been sent to untold numbers of pedophiles and pederasts. School “non-discrimination” policies on “sexual orientation” keep that door open and all protectors of children at arm’s length. The National Education Association has numerous policies supporting the “safe” (read: unchallenged) expression of homosexual behavior by children in schools. These are often pushed by its “GLBT” Teachers’ Caucus.

Schools feel the increasing presence, whether they like it or not, of advocacy groups like the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, or GLSEN, and the Human Rights Campaign. The newest campaigns of both these groups is to reach elementary students. If we cooperate, it’s easy for some children to become targets.

Adults may approach them, and they won’t realize it’s not only outrageous, but illegal. It may be a coach or assistant coach. It may be the college student who was the invited speaker at your school’s “gay-straight alliance” meeting. It may be a 24 year old you met as a 12 year old when your school’s homosexual club marched in the town’s pride parade, carrying the school banner to support “LGBT” youth.

And we complain about Penn State? The unreported molestations facilitated daily by the “gay” lobby’s insistence on access to children must surely dwarf anything done by Jerry Sandusky, horrific as his actions were.

As bad as heterosexual molestation is, it isn’t being packaged as the natural outgrowth of a “right,” an element of “social justice.” Same-sex molestation has always been easier to facilitate in venues for children, since children and adults of the same sex do sometimes use the same restrooms, go on camp outs and – as we saw with Sandusky – shower in the same facilities. Access is easier, and the blind eye we are turning due to the repositioning of truth by the “gay” lobby is making the risk greater than ever.

Gary Bauer: Gay Marriage Stands in the Way of Reducing Crime in Chicago

On Wednesday, Gary Bauer of the Campaign for Working Families attempted to tie the Obama administration’s support for gay rights…to violent crime. Bauer said that the escalating crime rate in the city of Chicago is due to children growing up in fatherless homes, which he maintained is a result of Democratic policies that have “made it comfortable for many women to not have husbands in the home” and even same-sex marriage. “Obama and the Democrats have embraced the radical idea of men marrying other men,” Bauer sneered, “How is that going to help the black family?”

I'd like to go to Chicago for a second. I about fell out of my chair watching a recent CBS interview with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. He was lamenting the values, or lack of values, of Chicago's gang culture, as nearly three hundred people have been killed in Chicago this year, many of them little kids. That's higher casualties than we're suffering in Afghanistan. Here's what Mayor Rahm Emanuel said:

"It is about values. As I said then [referring to when a 7-year-old girl was shot and killed last month], who raised you? How were you raised? And I don't buy this case where people say they don't have values. They do have values. They have the wrong values. Don't come near the kids -- don't touch them."

Well, thanks for speaking up Mr. Mayor, you're asking the right questions, but sadly you can't come up with the right answers. Certainly these kids aren't getting their values from their fathers because they don't have fathers in their households. For the past fifty years, Rahm Emanuel's party, the Democratic Party, has made it comfortable for many women to not have husbands in the home. Now Obama and the Democrats have embraced the radical idea of men marrying other men! How is that going to help the black family?

When Emanuel worked in the Clinton White House, the response to gang violence, do you remember this, was midnight basketball programs. It didn't work, midnight basketball programs don't replace fathers. And, of course, it was around that time when Democrats and their media allies did their best to convince us that values really didn't matter. Even the disgusting values demonstrated in the Oval Office with a White House intern.

The fact is that values do matter. There is no government program dreamed up by Bill Clinton or Barack Obama or Rahm Emanuel that can make up for the breakdown of the family. And this election be about more than just about economics.
