Herman Cain's Website: Demon-Possessed Gays Need Exorcisms

Dan Calabrese, the editor-in-chief of Herman Cain’s website CainTV, warned last week that President Obama will keep gay people “in a state of demonic oppression” since he backs efforts to curtail the practice of conversion therapy on minors.

Warning that homosexuality is “demonic” and that a gay person is in need of “a deliverance minister [who] can help him to get rid of the evil spirit,” Calabrese claimed that “it is not Obama’s place to try to keep them in spiritual bondage.”

“Any who supports a bill like this is saying that families who want help for a person oppressed by homosexuality should not be allowed to seek it,” he wrote, claiming that Obama’s stance on conversion therapy is one more clue that the president is a phony Christian.

Since the Bible says homosexuality is an abomination in the sight of God, and yet many people obviously feel homosexual urges, how do you square the two facts? You square them in the same way you explain any person's desire for sin. The person who craves heroin, or alcohol, or unhealthy quantities of food, or to hurt other people - these are all desires of the flesh that are in opposition to God's will for your life. The driving force behind all sin is spiritual - and yes, Right Wing Watch, I mean demonic - and the cure for it is deliverance by the authority of Jesus Christ.

How does that work? It has to start with the person wanting to be delivered. A deliverance minister can take authority over a demon in the name of Jesus, but if the person who is oppressed by the demon wants to remain in that state, then no deliverance minister can stop the demon from coming right back. (Luke 11:24-26) If a homosexual person wants to be free from this desire of the flesh because he knows it puts him in opposition to God, he can be free of it through repentance and surrender to Christ, and a deliverance minister can help him to get rid of the evil spirit.

If Obama has his way, a deliverance minister trying to free people from evil spirits would be forbidden by law from doing so. A person in a state of demonic oppression could not be helped because the official position of the United States government is that this state of demonic oppression is a good way to be, and no one should try to change it.

I don't think Obama understands it this way. I don't think he believes in any spiritual world whatsoever, nor do the people who will portray a commentary like this as odd, weird, crazy, etc. When you're not intelligent or curious enough to understand something, you mock the whole idea of it. Any who supports a bill like this is saying that families who want help for a person oppressed by homosexuality should not be allowed to seek it.

That is not their decision. I don't think any homosexual should be forced into therapy, ministry or anything else - especially since I know it won't help them if they're not willing. But if they want to be free, it is not Obama's place to try to keep them in spiritual bondage. The fact that he doesn't even understands that notion really gives the lie to his claim of being a Christian.

Cliff Kincaid: Gays And Obama Are 'Making A Raw Power Grab For Our Kids'

Accuracy In Media’s Cliff Kincaid is incensed about President Obama’s recent statement that he supports efforts to bar the practice of sexual orientation and gender identity conversion therapy on minors, writing today in BarbWire that “we are now seeing Obama and the progressives, including the homosexual movement, making a raw power grab for our kids.”

Arguing that measures to limit the pseudo-scientific practice will help “weaken the United States,” Kincaid writes that “a form of ‘conversion therapy’ will be retained, but used on those who resist the homosexual movement’s demands for our children.”

Kincaid explains that “Obama doesn’t seem concerned” about the “consequences of their immoral behavior” since “he was a heavy dope smoker.”

From Obama’s perspective, these parents stand in the way of creating an army of “LGBT” young people who will forever be grateful to the President for standing up for their “rights.” Like the dope smokers in Colorado, participating in what Obama calls an “experiment,” these young people constitute another Democratic Party constituency. Obama doesn’t seem concerned, however, about the consequences of their immoral behavior. After all, he was a heavy dope smoker and look what happened to him and where he ended up.

In other words, a form of “conversion therapy” will be retained, but used on those who resist the homosexual movement’s demands for our children. Believers in the old-fashioned values of one man and one woman marriage will be “re-educated,” or else.

Not only are the rights to freedom of the press and religion now at risk, parental rights are also in jeopardy. We are now seeing Obama and the progressives, including the homosexual movement, making a raw power grab for our kids. The parents are being labeled as the lunatics.

Yet while the Obama administration opposes counseling for young people who may want to change their sexual feelings from homosexual to heterosexual, they have no problem paying for traitor Bradley Manning to physically “change” from being a “he” to a “she.” It is reported that the Army has agreed to pay for hormone treatments, makeup, and female underwear for Manning, who is serving a 35-year sentence for espionage and other charges, so he can become “Chelsea.”

Obama’s “fundamental transformation” of America is getting downright weird. It appears to be a one-way street away from our Judeo-Christian values. Like so many other policies pursued by this President, it’s difficult to see how this one can do anything but weaken the United States.

FRC Spokesman: Homosexuality A Result Of Sexual Abuse, Can Be 'Overcome'

Family Research Council spokesman Peter Sprigg defended sexual orientation conversion therapy yesterday by insisting that homosexuality is the result of “developmental issues in childhood and adolescence” such as “sexual abuse” and “poor bonding with a same-sex parent or peers.”

Sprigg told his FRC colleague Craig James, who was guest hosting the group’s “Washington Watch” radio program, that “while same-sex attractions are not a sin, they are a temptation to sin and same-sex sexual conduct, homosexual conduct, is the sin.” Sprigg, upset with President Obama’s recent statement condemning the pseudo-scientific therapy, which has been discredited by major medical and social worker groups, insisted that gay people can “overcome their sinful temptations.”

He dismissed “this idea that these therapists are forcing change on people who are perfectly happy to be gay” as “just a fantasy,” claiming that the therapy benefits even reluctant clients since it helps them “with underlying issues, with their depression, with their relationship issues.”

“And what they sometimes find is if the underlying psychological problems are addressed, the same-sex attractions actually begin to go away,” he said.

James agreed, complaining that Americans are “being forced to accept” bans on “conversion therapy” when in reality “many” have “chosen a heterosexual lifestyle.”

Heritage Foundation Event Defends Ex-Gay Therapy As Sound Science

While John G. West of the Discovery Institute dedicated most of his time speaking at the Heritage Foundation today to attacking evolution and “totalitarian science,” he briefly discussed laws prohibiting sexual orientation conversation therapy for minors during the Q&A portion of the event.

While leading associations in the medical community have roundly denounced ex-gay therapy as reliant on discredited science and dangerous to the people it is supposed to “help,” West claimed that it is actually the LGBT advocates who are harming young people by placing limits on such practices and pushing “preposterous” claims about sexual orientation.

Anti-Gay Activist Wrote A Poem About Michael Sam Kissing His Boyfriend

Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality, the anti-gay activist who once claimed that people were “forced” to watch Michael Sam kiss his boyfriend and urged Sam to seek ex-gay therapy or face “notoriety among millions of us,” has now penned a poem about seeing Sam’s kiss.

LaBarbera has regularly posted censored photos of Sam kissing his boyfriend and apparently hasn’t gotten over the kiss.

The poem is really something, and includes memorable lines such as, “We don’t want to see this man-on-man!” and “why are so many diseases linked to ‘sex’ in the anus?”

Since it’s New Year’s Eve, we’re having a little fun here at AFTAH: below is a poem I wrote playing loosely off the lyrics, rhythm and meter of Dr. Seuss’ “Green Eggs and Ham” (you know, the one with “Sam I am”). Although it’s light, the message is serious: public celebration of perversion is indecent–and another harmful and obnoxious by-product of “gay” and “same-sex marriage” advocacy. Sure, I’ll be chided by humorless homosexuals and “progressive” hacks who bristle at anything characterizing homosexuality as immoral, destructive and changeable. But who cares: LGBTQ activists attack, slander and lie about AFTAH all the time anyway. So enjoy…or not. Happy New Year!

…P.S. On a very serious note, please pray for Michael Sam and others caught up in homosexuality, that they would accept Christ and become overcomers who leave their sinful lifestyle behind, as many others have [see this "Ex-Gay Truth" site].

I Saw the Kiss by Michael Sam. It Made Me Mad. He Kissed a Man!

By Peter LaBarbera

I saw the kiss by Michael Sam..
It made me mad–he kissed a man!

That’s something I don’t want to see
It’s wrong, unnatural, and it’s not just me.

Many now say, “Homosexuality is OK.”
But God says there’s a better way.

He made men for women, and women for men.
So why are “gays” so prideful then?

Please, no public same-sex kisses, Michael Sam.
We don’t want to see this man-on-man!

Not in a boat, not in a car
This public perversion goes too far!

Not in the store or on a bus
This same-sex stuff, it brings disgust.

Not at the movies or on TV
It’s wrong, unnatural, can’t you see?!

I don’t want my kids to think it’s right
So please, please, keep it out of sight!

Why is it always in our faces?
This sin–celebrated in so many places?

Even at football and baseball games
We have to pretend homosexuality’s the same.

Young kids exposed to same-sex acts,
When parents just wanna’ have fun and relax.

“Well,” said Michael Sam, “let me ask you this:
“Do you get mad when men and women kiss?!”

Man and woman, that’s Nature’s way.
As long as there’s not too much PDA.

“But can’t you see, it’s who I am?!
“I’m gay, accept me!” begged Michael Sam.

I disagree–it’s not who you are, it’s what you do.
Hey, haven’t you had a girlfriend or two?

Yes, but this is now and that was then.
My “sexual orientation”…hey, it’s towards men!

No, Michael Sam insisted, I’m gay.
Can’t you see I was born that way?

Why must you hate gays like me?
“Hate?” I said. “I don’t hate you, I just disagree!”

You already changed from straight to perverse.
Why can’t the process work in reverse?

Many like you once thought they were that way.
But they left homosexuality behind and are now EX-gay!

Men like DL Foster and Stephen Black
Who lived as “gay” for years but then turned back.

And EX-lesbians, too, like Charlene Cothran.
Have left the “gay” life to follow God’s plan.

Besides, homosexuality’s not safe; you should see…
The alarming stats on MSM [men who have sex with men] from the CDC.

Almost every case of young male HIV
Is linked to the practice of gay sodomy.

Sure, the PC sports writers will all say
They couldn’t be happier that you’re “gay”

Some have compared you with the great 42.
But he broke the color barrier;
Homosexuality’s just a sin people DO!

I do not mean to pick a fight
When I say most Blacks don’t think homosexuality’s a “civil right.”

Far from a “right,” Michael. In fact, it’s wrong.
Must I put this in a song?

Michael shot back: “Not wrong at all, it’s who I am!
“I’m gay. My name is Michael Sam.”

“God made me black and blessed me with gayness.”
Blessed you?! Then why are so many diseases linked to “sex” in the anus?

No, God made you black–not ‘gay,’” said I.
“You’ve chosen to believe a lie!”

You can’t change your skin color, that’s a fact.
But homosexuality? That’s only an act.

And conduct we don’t want to see–at all!
Not on a train, or at the mall.

Not at the beach or in the gym.
Don’t be a poster boy for sexual sin!

We don’t want to see your “gay” kisses.
God’s ideal for sex and love homosexuality misses.

But I will pray for you, Michael Sam.
I’ll pray to the One who told Moses, “I AM WHO AM.”

If you believe in Jesus and turn from your sin,
Behold God’s kingdom: He’ll welcome you in!

Just remember, it’s God, not man, we answer to.
And He’s prepared a virtuous path for you.

No, He can’t bless your same-sex behavior.
But He’ll give you an “abundant life” with the Savior.

And no “hate” here–just God’s people’s love for the lost.
A price was paid for my sins and yours, at great cost.

Thanks for the chat,
I hope you see…

That you and I can disagree
Without me hating you, or you hating me.

The Right Wing Watch Christmas Gift Guide 2014 Edition

Just in case you are doing some last-minute shopping for Christmas, provided, of course, that your town hasn’t already fallen in a bloody battle in the War on Christmas, we here at Right Wing Watch are out with a new holiday gift guide focused on that special right-wing friend or relative in your life.

Hopefully your loved ones will appreciate it as much as our 2013 catalogue.

6. Big Bucket Of Dried Eggs

The perfect prepper gift, televangelist and survivalist Jim Bakker is offering a hot deal on an “Egg Bucket” for just a cool $100. Nothing gets people more excited than seeing a bucket of dried eggs underneath the Christmas tree, especially once they realize it contains a whole 29 “pouches.” Just add water!

And if you need a present for a prepper with a sweet tooth, make sure to buy Bakker’s 273-item gourmet dessert tray so the whole family can enjoy ice cream sandwiches as society collapses.

5. A Very Glenn Beck Christmas

While other families gather around to watch the yule log or a marathon of “A Christmas Story,” you can have your family watch Glenn Beck dress up as an elderly, Santa-like man after you “give the gift of TheBlaze TV” for up to 100 friends, family members “or anyone you care about” this year.

Alternatively, you can wait for Becks’ movie about a warrior Santa Claus to come to theaters.

4. Children’s End Times Book

Finally, the Pat Robertson-approved children’s book about the Last Days that your child has been waiting for! “I Won’t Take The Mark” prepares kids for the end of the world, concluding with a contract where readers pledge to never take the Mark of the Beast.

3. Obama T-Shirt Sale

Is anyone on the hunt for a barely legible conservative t-shirt? Well, you are in luck, as “The Ten Commandments According To Obama Shirt” is on sale. It was written by Obama himself (probably) about how people should worship him because “I am the chosen One and like God, I do not have a birth certificate,” and should have abortions and persecute Christians. And printing a very long list with a small font size on a white t-shirt is always a winning design idea.

2. Build Your Own Noah’s Ark

The Creation Museum is out with a new, fun way to disprove evolution and let people know that Noah really did put all those dinosaurs up on his ark: building your very own ark! Well, sort of. With their Noah’s Ark Paper Model, you can “[d]iscover the truth about Noah’s Ark by constructing your own scale model! Interesting facts about the Ark and Flood are located on the bottom of the model. Available in two sizes—small and large.” Just in case you were wondering, yes, it is to scale, in cubits.

1. An Ex-Gay Christmas

Anti-LGBT activist Linda Harvey of “Mission America” knows that if you are still “wondering what to get your teen or college student for Christmas,” you should consider “giving them the gift of common sense and morality.” And by common sense and morality, she means her new book, “Maybe He’s Not Gay: Another View On Homosexuality,” which peddles ex-gay pseudo-science. For those who want to use Christmas to “cure” a loved one of homosexuality, Harvey boasts that her book tells gays and lesbians “why they can leave those feelings behind.” A true Christmas miracle!

Religious Right Group Defends Bogus Ex-Gay Billboard

The ex-gay group Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) is standing by a controversial billboard it has erected in Richmond, Virginia, which shows what it claims is a photo of identical twins, one gay and one straight, to prove that “nobody is born gay.”

Not only is the science behind such a claim shoddy, but the gay stock-photo model featured on PFOX’s billboard does not have a twin sibling.

Greg Quinlan, PFOX’s conspiratorial and extremist spokesman, defended the billboard in an interview today with the far-right outlet WorldNetDaily, insisting that that his group just wants gay people to know that “the truth that homosexuality is destructive to someone.”

“The billboard speaks to the scientific fact that to quote the American Psychiatric Association, ‘there still remains no replicated scientific studies supporting any specific biological etiology for homosexuality,’” Quinlan told WND. “There is zero evidence that a person is born a homosexual. In fact, Dr. Francis Collins of the human genome project with the National Institute of Health, who was appointed by President Clinton to do the project said homosexuality was “not hard-wired.’”

When asked about Christian leaders who are calling for churches to be accepting of the homosexual lifestyle and begin to support same-sex marriage, Quinlan says the challenges Christians are facing today are not different than those faced by the early Christians.

“The reason we see so much of a proliferation of homosexuality in our society now is because we live in a sex-saturated culture,” Quinlan explained. “The first century church thrived in a hyper-sexualized homosexual culture in an age of sexual anarchy. So can the 21st century church. We do not need to compromise our message in order to bring homosexuals into the church or accommodate them.”

He said, “The truth is the truth, and if we love someone, we will tell them the truth that homosexuality is destructive to someone. I know because I watched 100 of my friends die of AIDS.”

Marcus Bachmann Defends Ex-Gay Therapy At Controversial Clinic

Retiring Minnesota Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann’s husband Marcus is defending the dangerous, pseudo-scientific, practice of sexual orientation conversion therapy that he conducts at his clinic Counseling Care, previously known as Bachmann & Associates.

Speaking with Jan Markell and Jill Martin Rische on “Understanding the Times” this weekend, Bachmann said that he was angry that his clinic faced criticism after several reports surfaced about ex-gay therapy taking place there.

Bachmann insisted that “we are people of ethics” who were only attacked for trying to “speak truth,” adding that “people will choose, they will ultimately choose what they are going to do with their life.”

He also said his clinic faced criticism simply for “creating a safe place” for LGBT people:

Once the far-left understood that we were actually creating a safe place, a place where people who said I have this issue with same-sex attraction, this desire. I’m a believer, I’m a person of faith and it’s conflicting with my values systems. Anyone who would walk alongside and then encourage that person’s values systems and their beliefs and bring that in alignment, that is like blasphemous to the other side. How dare you even consider being involved in someone who has decided or is desiring that to influence in any way shape or form another side in the book on this one?

Matt Barber: Satan Deceiving People Into Denouncing Ex-Gay Therapy

Upset with Southern Baptist official Russell Moore’s recent rebuke of ex-gay therapy, Matt Barber appeared on “The Janet Mefferd Show” yesterday to criticize Moore for failing to hold the anti-gay line when “the heat is on.”

Barber told Mefferd — who took to Facebook yesterday to attack Moore for “playing right into the hands of Big Gay” — that Satan is behind the foundering anti-gay cause: “It’s this homosexual issue that is the head of the spear. This is the issue that the Enemy is using to both divide the church and separate souls from God.”

Barber also claimed that the higher rate of sexual abuse reported in the gay community is proof that abuse makes people gay.

“We know conclusively that sexual abuse is one of the main catalysts for same-sex attraction,” he said. “And now we have Christian kids and other kids, Christian or not, who want to find freedom from a demonstrably self-destructive lifestyle.”

Actually, experts have not found a connection between sexual abuse and gay sexual orientation, but have found that gay people are targeted for abuse because of their sexual orientation.

“They want freedom from this identity, the same-sex attractions, that stem from a sexual assault at the hands of a person like a Jerry Sandusky for instance,” Barber said. “It is reckless, it is irresponsible of Russell Moore to give fodder to these sexual anarchists.”

Ex-Gay Activist: Homosexuality Is 'An Instant Addiction As To A Drug'

Ex-gay activist Linda Wall, who has launched a new Religious Right group called Virginia Mass Resistance, promoted her organization in a Saturday interview with “Mission America” host Linda Harvey.

Wall described to Harvey her own experience of being “seduced” into homosexuality, which she said all started with “a glass of wine and marijuana.”

“It was as if it was an instant addiction as to a drug,” she said.

Wall: So if you’re not born with a gay gene, then you have to be seduced or lured into it, which is an epidemic. Or I call it the ‘runaway train in America’ because I was minding my own heterosexual, college co-ed life when an older woman seduced me into it.

Harvey: How does that happen? Tell me a little bit, without too much detail.

Wall: This is way back, 33 years ago or more, she started flirting with me. I just took it to be a friendship that she was trying to build with me. I was raised in rural Virginia, I’ve never met a homosexual, a person who claimed to be a homosexual, and then in time I realized that there was more to this and I was intrigued and so under the influence of a glass of wine and marijuana, I decided one night to explore and try this. It was as if it was an instant addiction as to a drug and for ten years almost I wanted to get out of it and could not. Praise the Lord I realized that if it could be done it would be done by Jesus Christ, the one who had healed lepers and even raised the dead.

Ex-Gay Activists Plan To Lobby On ENDA, Hate Crimes Laws

Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) is preparing for the “Second Annual Ex-Gay Awareness Month” conference taking place this week in Washington, D.C., and PFOX executive director Regina Griggs appeared on today’s edition of “Sandy Rios In The Morning” to promote the event to all of American Family Radio’s ex-gay listeners.

Griggs told guest host Fred Jackson that the group of ex-gay activists will be visiting Capitol Hill because “many, many people within our Congress and in our Senate do not know and have never met an ex-gay, never heard of one.”

According to Griggs, the ex-gay lobbyists will tell members of Congress, “I want you to know that when you consider legislation, when you consider protection, hate crimes, ENDA, we do exist, we are out here, change is possible.”

Griggs, who has a gay son who does not identify as an “ex-gay,” also claimed that homosexuality is a choice, and a “dangerous” one at that.

“It is declared by the individual, it’s a decision that they have made,” she said. “If they have unwanted same-sex attractions that are based on being encouraged to live this lifestyle, many of them make the decision to live in a lifestyle that is changeable.”

She denounced laws in California and New Jersey that bar minors from undergoing ex-gay therapy, which she said will prevent people from receiving “help to walk away from a dangerous lifestyle.”

Sandy Rios Cites Hoax Story To Warn Of Scourge Of Mother-Daughter Couples

On her radio program today, the American Family Association’s Sandy Rios promoted the upcoming Ex-Gay Awareness Month — at which she will be receiving the prestigious “Friend of Ex-Gays Freedom Award” — by repeating a hoax story about a mother-daughter lesbian couple.

Rios read her guest, ex-gay activist Christopher Doyle, an article from the website Stuppid.com that supposedly tells the story of a mother-daughter couple named Vertasha and Mary Carter.

But as the myth-busting website Snopes.com reports, the story is a complete hoax.

“The fight against this movement, it’s like a powerful force of immorality that threatens to overtake us,” Rios said of the fictitious story, before comparing ex-gay activists like Doyle to “Muslims who don’t declare their devotion to jihad.”

Doyle added: “There’s people out there that are trying to normalize this craziness. Where does it end?”

New Ex-Gay Movie Ad: 'Lady Gaga, Shut Up'

An advertisement for ex-gay activist David Kyle Foster’s movie, “Such Were Some Of You,” ran during today’s edition of “The 700 Club.”

The clip featured activists Michael Brown and Anne Paulk, and one young man who exclaimed: “I have to say, Lady Gaga, shut up. I was not born this way.”

Foster has warned of gay brainwashing in schools and divine punishment for gay rights, insisting that he changed his sexual orientation after “sleeping with 1,000 men.”

Linda Harvey: Anti-Gay Activists Must Go To 'Places That Are Homosexual' To Tell Them They're Not Gay

Linda Harvey of Mission America spoke to BarbWire columnist Gina Miller on her radio show this weekend, where the two reprised their attacks on LGBT rights as a demonic, destructive force.

Reflecting on a campaign to push for LGBT rights in Southern states, Harvey said anti-gay activists should have the same “kind of boldness” and go to pride parades and “places that are homosexual” like San Francisco, Provincetown and Key West.

Miller, however, cautioned that “a lot of the homosexual radicals are radical and they’re violent and vicious,” adding: “These people are vicious and we’re not. That’s the thing. We’re not vicious but we know the truth and the truth is on our side.”

Harvey and Miller then dismissed a Human Rights Campaign survey on harassment of LGBT youth in states like Mississippi, Arkansas and Alabama, which they claimed — without any evidence to substantiate their claims — was a complete sham.

Miller said: “No I don’t believe it, while there may be some element of bullying — of course bullying happens all the time for various reasons in our schools, that’s the way kids are — but no, I don’t buy it and further they can easily make up these statistics…They’re using these kinds of statements whether they’re true or not to create a false image, a false impression that homosexuals are bullied and where is this rampant epidemic of homosexual kids?”

“These folks are highly sensitive — I’m not saying these things don’t happen, but I think all of this is exaggeration,” Harvey said. “‘One-in-three LGBT students,’ you might be talking about 45 people in the total of Mississippi and they are not born that way so the issue is we need to be educating and counseling and coming along these kids and saying ‘you don’t need to be in this lifestyle’ and harassment can be punished right now, no matter what the reason, so it’s all false.”

LaBarbera: Ex-Ex-Gays Should Apologize To The Religious Right

As more and more ex-gay activists renounce the movement and strongly criticize sexual orientation conversion therapy, even apologizing for their role promoting ex-gay pseudo-science, you might think anti-gay activists would start asking questions about the efficacy of ex-gay therapy.

You would be mistaken, of course, as instead anti-gay activists like Peter LaBarbera deny that there are any problems at all with the rapidly collapsing ex-gay movement. In fact, the Americans For Truth About Homosexuality leader believes that people who have abandoned their positions in the ex-gay movement should apologize to anti-gay conservatives like himself.

While speaking to Janet Mefferd yesterday about recent statements by people like Randy Thomas, Yvette Schneider, Alan Chambers and John Paulk who, among others, have denounced the ex-gay movement they once took part in, LaBarbera said that they are “sellouts” who, instead of apologizing to the LGBT community, should apologize to the Religious Right.

LaBarbera said such activists are “negating the word of God to score some points with the politically correct thought police” while hurting “people trapped in homosexuality.”

“He needs to apologize to the body of Christ now for selling out the Bible,” he said of Thomas. “That’s the apology I want to see from Alan Chambers and Randy Thomas and all of these sellouts, is people saying I’m coming back to this route and then apologizing to the body of Christ for promoting error.”

Mefferd agreed: “That would be nice.”

He also accused Schneider of embracing the “occult” and “opening herself up to an unbiblical counselor in her life, you could use stronger words.”

“This one is very sad and personal to me, I worked with Yvette Schneider at the Family Research Council, she had a wonderful testimony,” he said. “This one is a stab in the back to all of her pro-family friends and I pray that Yvette will turn back to the Bible and turn back to God and apologize for this apostasy.”

Ex-Gay Activist Went From 'Sleeping With One Thousand Men' To Being Happily Straight

Ex-gay activist David Kyle Foster said last month that people are “abusing children” by telling gay youth not to pursue ex-gay therapy, insisting that he changed his sexual orientation even after “sleeping with 1,000 men.”

Foster made the remarks in an interview on “Vocal Point” with Jerry Newcombe of Truth In Action Ministries, which he spent promoting his new ex-gay movie and discussing how childhood sexual abuse leads to homosexuality.

Newcombe started the program on the “militant homosexual agenda” by asking: “If a Martian were to visit America, he might conclude that half the country was gay and the other half wish it were! This is such an issue where it is pushed on us over and over and over in America.”

Ex-Gay Activist Warns Homosexuality Is 'Another Step In The Degeneration Of A Culture That Practices Idolatry'

Ex-gay activist David Kyle Foster joined Kevin Swanson on “Generations Radio” today, which inevitably led to a discussion of how God will punish America for homosexuality.

“I’ve wondered if the opening of the Pandora’s box of the 1960s and 70s and the free sex movement that led to the shacking up, the fornication, the massive increase in the availability of pornography, etc. etc….I wonder if the incredible opening up of all these things has led to the next step, and that is homosexuality?” Swanson asked Foster.

Foster agreed that “sexual immorality” such as homosexuality amounts to “idolatry” because it involves “worshipping the creature rather than the creator.”

“Homosexuality in our culture is another step in the degeneration of a culture that practices idolatry,” he concluded.

On this weekend’s edition of “Understanding the Times with Jan Markell,” ex-gay activist Stephen Bennett joined Linda Harvey in denouncing the “miniscule” group of “militant activists who are trying to turn this country upside down” by advocating for LGBT equality.

“They’re basically marching in with their fist shaking, saying, ‘We demand equality, homosexuality is equivalent to heterosexuality.’ Folks, it is not, anyone with a brain realizes it is not equal,” he said. “People have strayed so far away from God’s design of marriage. Marriage isn’t to be decided by a government or judges or courts, this is God, God is the one who designed this.”

Alex McFarland: 'Psychologically Destructive' Homosexuality Creates Problems In LGBT Community, Not Homophobia

On James Dobson’s “Family Talk” radio program earlier this week, Religious Right pundit Alex McFarland disputed claims that high rates of depression, suicide, and self-abuse among gay people are connected to internalized homophobia.

“Here in America, we’re told ad infinitum that depression and psychiatric illness among professed homosexuals is due to our culture of homophobia,” he said. “It’s our fault when homosexual people have mental stress.”

Furious that anyone could possibly link anti-gay activism to anti-gay bigotry, McFarland concluded that, once again, the problems lie within gays themselves: “Along with what I believe is spiritually destructive behavior and physically destructive behavior, homosexuality is psychologically destructive behavior.”

Thankfully, ex-gay activist Anne Paulk was also on the air to supplement McFarland’s wisdom with an “unscientific survey” she conducted among gay women on the causes of their own depression and poor mental health: “They didn’t even mention homophobia, their family of origin’s point of view, none of that. It was the breakup of a same-sex relationship that precipitated this sense of, ‘Oh, my life’s not worth living anymore.’”

Paulk lamented that the media routinely points the finger at anti-gay intolerance for issues many LGBT people face, yet failed to conduct their own research proving that homophobia is actually a manufactured problem. Clearly, these four accredited studies just can’t stand up to the solidity of Paulk’s “unscientific survey.”
