Immigration

Conservative Activist: Immigration Action Will Trigger 'Civil War'

Richard Viguerie, the renowned conservative campaign operative, is warning that President Obama’s stated plan to use executive action to relieve some undocumented immigrants of the threat of deportation may cause a civil war.

Viguerie told WorldNetDaily yesterday that such a move “could ignite, quite frankly, a civil war across America against the Democratic Party,” which he says has become “an elite special interest party” seen as indifferent and hostile to working Americans.

At least, according to longtime conservative fundraiser Richard Viguerie, who has a warning for President Obama about his stated plans to take executive action on immigration reform even though voters just repudiated his policies by voting his party out of power in the Senate.

“If President Obama, by executive order, extends amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, as he’s promised to do shortly, this could ignite, quite frankly, a civil war across America against the Democratic Party,” Viguerie cautioned.

He continued, “It could be a major, major blow to the Democratic Party and brand them as the party that rewards illegal activity, and it could do great, great damage not only to the Democratic Party, but quite frankly, to America.”

As for the Democrats, Viguerie believes they are alienating white working class voters by supporting amnesty for illegal immigrants, attacking religious freedoms, and attacking gun rights.

“It’s clear that the Democratic Party, the Democratic leaders at the national and state level are being seen more and more as being either hostile to working middle-class Americans, or not engaged in their problems,” he said. “The working class, traditional-value voters are feeling that they’re just not welcome in the Democratic Party. It’s become more of an elite special interest party.”

Michael Savage: GOP Must Impeach Obama, Stop Him Before He 'Triggers An Insurrection'

Reacting to President Obama’s post-election press conference yesterday, right-wing talk show host Michael Savage declared that the president is “not a sound man” and urged Republicans in Congress to impeach him.

Savage argued that a secretive, powerful circle “selected” Obama to become president when he was a high school student at the Punahou School, and now he has gone mad with power:

If you look at his eyes while he’s speaking, and I’m a student of many different things, his eyes are not that of a sound man. The man is not connected to reality, he has always lived in a protected bubble, the skids have been greased for him since childhood. He was hand-selected by a group of very powerful people, early on, way back, I think even before Columbia University, probably at Punahou, he was selected, they made him president. He has never had a defeat like this in his life and it’s not that he doesn’t know how to deal with it, he’s refusing to accept that he had a defeat, it had nothing to do with him, it’s somebody else’s fault.

So what needs to be done? He needs to be impeached. If he keeps this up, if he grants executive amnesty to the illegals, if he goes ahead with all of his crazy garbage on global warming nonsense, he’s got to be impeached. It’s that simple. The time to stop the impeachment movement against Barack Obama will be the day he signs the executive action on amnesty. It’s that simple.

He must be impeached. The Republicans will have nothing to do at that point and that’s when we have to push Rand Paul and the conservatives in the movement, maybe [Joni] Ernst, she may have to go there and she may have to say ‘I’m leading the charge, we’re going to stop the insanity today, we’re going to have to impeach this man because he’s a clear and present danger to the republic.’ It has been done before, it can be done now, there’s no excuse for it.

After describing Obama as the “poster boy” for his book “Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder,” Savage said Obama is being propped up by a “secret cabal of individuals who have hand picked him” and turned him into a “psychopath.”

Savage then wondered if Obama may “try to trigger some sort of insurrection,” warning that administration officials (and George Soros!) might start “planning some kind of phenomenally dangerous action to trigger an insurrection in this country to declare themselves more power. It could happen here, with a man as back to the wall as this and with a man as out of touch with what he did to his own party as this, I would think anything I possible.”

He said Obama’s press conference reminded him of Adolf Hitler and his officers “underground in a bunker with Berlin collapsing around them plotting to still win the war.”

Tucker Carlson: Obama Stoking 'Racial Fears' To Keep Power

Tucker Carlson, the editor-in-chief of the Daily Caller, appeared on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' Infowars program on Election Day to warn about growing racial divisions in America as a result of immigration and President Obama’s time in office. Carlson said that identity politics based on race are a new feature in U.S. politics and that this development is Obama’s fault, of course.

He warned that the president is attempting to use “race to divide the country and get out the vote and use racial fears to get their base out to the polls.” “Look around the world," Carlson said. "You've traveled, you know, practically every other country on the planet is divided by ethnic politics. We haven’t been historically but we’re moving in that direction. You don’t even want to play with that stuff and they’re doing it in a big way and it’s reckless.”

After Jones warned that American elites “want to flood us with all these illegals” in order to divide the country and “create that balkanization.”

Carlson agreed: “I don’t think there’s any doubt about it. There’s no doubt that they see immigration as a source of political power and that’s scary.”

Carlson then agreed with Jones’ assessment that the U.S. is turning “into a pure democracy where hordes of illegals will vote away our freedoms,” citing California as a “one-party state that is literally crumbling” due to immigration.

Wiles: Government Might 'Splice' Viruses To Create Army Of Zombie Cannibals

End Times broadcaster Rick Wiles has been sounding the alarm about municipal “zombie apocalypse” emergency preparedness drills, which he believes are a warning that the government is planning something big…like mass executions.

On his program yesterday, Wiles presented a new possible explanation for these zombie drills: that the government could be working to splice together viruses to make people “literally go insane” like the man in Florida who ate another man’s face. This is all, of course, a sign that the Last Days are upon us, according to Wiles.

Later in the program, Wiles spoke with Zach Taylor of the National Association of Former Border Patrol Agents, and asked him if the CDC’s handling of Ebola cases shows that “somebody is deliberately creating the environment for a pandemic inside the United States.”

Taylor said it could be even worse.

“They may be managing this media crisis to mask something they’re doing that’s more detrimental,” he said, suggesting that the government is drawing media coverage to Ebola cases to distract from an outbreak of Enterovirus D68, which Taylor and other anti-immigrant activists are baselessly blaming on Central American child migrants.

We aren’t sure how this squares with Taylor’s other Ebola conspiracy theory, which he repeated to Wiles, that the government “disappeared” a number of immigrants on the southern border over the summer who were infected with Ebola.

Ann Coulter: 'Third World Peasants' To Blame For Respiratory Illness

In an interview with talk radio host Lars Larson last week, conservative commentator Ann Coulter claimed that undocumented immigrant youth are to blame for an outbreak of enterovirus D68 in the U.S.

While the CDC and other experts have denied a link between EV-D68 and new immigrants, Coulter said “a lot of doctors” told her “privately that this is totally the border surge.”

Coulter, citing her expertise as someone who frequently gets colds due to her heavy travel schedule, told Larson that when “you bring all these Third World peasants in and send them throughout the country, it’s not the Mexican kids dying or the Central American kids dying from this, it’s the Americans because they don’t have the immunities.”

Bachmann: Obama Wants To 'Flood Our Nation With Millions Of Sure-Thing Democrat Voters'

Rep. Michele Bachmann said today that if President Obama were to take executive action to prevent the deportation of some undocumented immigrants living in the United States, his goal would be to “flood our nation with millions of sure-thing Democrat [sic] voters” who would rely on “the United States government as their source of supply.”

“This will be the most significant achievement of President Obama’s second term,” Bachmann told Newsmax host Ed Berliner of the potential executive action. “It is what he has wanted from the very beginning, and that is to flood our nation with millions of new sure-thing Democrat voters. And the reason why is because he wants to bring a flood of individuals into the country who will be looking to the United States government as their source of supply.”

The Minnesota Republican went on to argue that such a move from the president would simultaneously hurt Democrats and ensure their victory in future elections: “That won’t help the Democrat Party, the president’s actions will hurt the Democrat Party in future elections, but the president unfortunately doesn’t care because his long-term view is that it will eventually deliver voters to the Democrat Party.”

Laurie Roth: 'Gays, Islamics And Illegal Aliens' Are Destroying America With Obama's Help

Following her unintentionally hilarious Ebola rant, right-wing talk show host Laurie Roth came out yesterday with a new column blasting “the extraordinary rights of gays, Islamics, and illegal aliens.”

After warning about the “evil” and tyrannical LGBT rights movement, Roth accused “the Islamic in-your-face activist groups [who] play the persecuted victim card” of “slamming their religion down our children's throats throughout Common Core school curriculum and the media.”

Roth saved her fiercest criticism for immigrants, warning that they “bring in endless diseases, drugs, terrorists, and danger to America” as “terrorists and cartel members are going back and forth across the border making billions.”

“With this last planned and orchestrated entourage of tens of thousands of illegal aliens at the hands of Obama, buses were shipped in the cover of darkness to cities all across America. Cities and schools have been lined with tattoo covered adult criminals, drug dealers, and terrorists masquerading as children,” she wrote. “We are seeing dangerous diseases spread to our children in public schools all across America and some are already dying from these viruses.”

Obama and his progressive-transformationalists have always targeted the desires of groups and turned those into mountain-size needs that only Obama and progressives/Democrat politicians can fill. They cannot function in a country that is free and standing on the Constitution and Holy Bible for direction. Obama and the progressives/Democrats must have a nation of dependent and obedient "Stepford wives."

We have heard now for many years about the extraordinary rights of gays, Islamics, and illegal aliens. Let us look for a minute at these "special" groups of people. Regarding the gay rights movement...Now, even our compromised Supreme Court has voted against our states' rights, how God Himself defines marriage in the Holy Bible, and what most Americans want – marriage between a man and a woman.

Marriage has been neutered, and pastors and the media are to shut up about it. The new landscape has so much variety to its evil. Children are to be raised by two women, two men, or a group of women and men. The same men and women can change their sex the next weekend. Then, there are those who even marry the neighborhood or themselves.

How many times has Obama said that ISIS and Al-Qaeda are not Islamic, when the truth is they are boldly and completely Islamic, obeying the jihad calling of Muhammad? As usual, the Islamic in-your-face activist groups play the persecuted victim card. We are all violating them and their speech. We are to notice nothing and say nothing about Islam re-writing their real history and slamming their religion down our children's throats throughout Common Core school curriculum and the media. Business owners are to have no rights but to submit 100% of the time to the endless rights of Islamic workers who demand a multitude of things while suing if they don't get their way and playing the martyr to perfection.

Illegal aliens...oh, yes, that is now hate speech. They are undocumented workers or immigrants...never mind that they knowingly break our laws, violate our borders, bring in endless diseases, drugs, terrorists, and danger to America. With this last planned and orchestrated entourage of tens of thousands of illegal aliens at the hands of Obama, buses were shipped in the cover of darkness to cities all across America. Cities and schools have been lined with tattoo covered adult criminals, drug dealers, and terrorists masquerading as children. Obama has enabled his illegal and criminal group to soar by now defining a child up to age 23.

We are seeing dangerous diseases spread to our children in public schools all across America and some are already dying from these viruses, while Obama and the progressive Democrats scream about their rights. What rights? They shouldn't be here. Our children are getting sick and dying. Terrorists and cartel members are going back and forth across the border making billions, while we are insulted and told we hate Hispanics, children, and poor people. The cherry on top for Obama and the progressive left is a hoped for numb-brained voter block.

Phyllis Schlafly: 'So-Called Kids' Crossing The Border Just Want Welfare

Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly appeared on “Secure Freedom Radio” with Frank Gaffney last week to point the blame at undocumented immigrants for increasing the national debt, overburdening social welfare programs and inciting a health crisis in the United States.

To supposedly remedy these issues, Schlafly called for a moratorium on immigration, arguing that the most recent waves of immigrants aren’t willing enough to integrate into American society. “The American people want the borders closed and we need a pause in our immigration. That’s what happened after the big immigration of the 1920s,” she said. “We had a pause and they all assimilated and they learned English and they learned to adapt to American ways. But the people coming in now, it’s not even clear they want to be Americans.”

She said that she learned from Rep. Michele Bachmann that the border is insecure and that “there’s no fence, they’re bringing in all kinds of disease and Obama’s not doing anything to stop it.”

Schlafly added that “a lot of these so-called kids who are coming in” are “tough cookies.”

Schlafly breathlessly described a scenario in which the knee-jerk dependency of immigrants on federal assistance programs would cripple the economy.

“They’re people who have no understanding or familiarity with the concept of limited government,” she added. “When you let these people in who will immediately go on the welfare system — you know, the Boston bombers came in, went right on the welfare system. That’s the reason for the enormous spending and debt we have, because we keep bringing in people who really can’t support themselves.”

Schlafly brought up her childhood during the Great Depression — arguably an era that saw one of the largest periods of federal government intervention — claiming that Americans were resilient enough to fend for themselves and didn’t need to seek out government aid. “[Immigrants] expect big government to take care of them, to solve their problems, and that’s not the way most Americans think,” she said.

“I grew up during the depression, and we didn’t look to government to solve our problems. And we grew up to be what they called the Greatest Generation.”

Joseph Farah Worries People Are Using 'Out-Of-Context' Bible Verses…To Support Immigrants’ Rights

In a WorldNetDaily column today, the site’s editor Joseph Farah adds his voice to the popular right-wing field of using the Bible to justify harsh anti-immigrant laws.

Criticizing Christian immigrants’ rights supporters for “seizing on one or two out-of-context verses in the Bible” to support their positions (something that Farah would never do!), he contends that the Bible actually supports deporting all undocumented immigrants because God wanted to prevent “global government” and that’s what immigration reform supporters want.

It’s always good when people consider the moral implications of public policy. So the Bible is a good place to start exploring the right and wrong of immigration laws. But seizing on one or two out-of-context verses in the Bible does not make for the kind of comprehensive moral case you would expect of those urging “comprehensive immigration reform.”

The Bible actually has a lot of say about national borders, foreigners, citizenship and the law.

For starters, I challenge anyone to check an exhaustive online or offline concordance for the word “border” or “borders” to get an appreciation of how many times God’s Word references these terms. While not all of them are relevant to our discussion, I count 169 references, most of them making the point that God really cares about them. Is that surprising? He cares about boundaries between nations. In fact, it is God Himself who invented nation-states back in Genesis 11.

Why did He do it?

It seems He scattered the world’s population and created the diverse languages in an effort to subvert man’s efforts to unite in a global kingdom under a false universal religion. Keep in mind, this took place before God created the nation of Israel.

Interestingly, one of the prime motivations of those behind the promotion of borderless societies is this very same notion of regional government and global government and the breakdown of nationalism.

What was wrong at the time of the Tower of Babel remains wrong today. That should be clear to anyone and everyone whose standard of morality is the Bible.

If we want to be compassionate to the strangers and aliens of our world today, those law-abiding foreigners who desperately want to come to America and are patiently awaiting their turn, we need to be certain they don’t get squeezed out unfairly by those who break the law and push ahead of them in line. And we should expect them to fully assimilate into our national culture.

We shouldn’t be mean to those lawbreakers, either. We shouldn’t mistreat them. We should even forgive them. But they have to leave.

They haven’t been invited. They are not our guests. They are not just strangers; they are trespassers. They are victimizing others through their presence – namely American citizens and foreigners who are trying to immigrate to the U.S. legally. They need to go back home and get in line like others waiting to enter our country lawfully. They need to follow the rules.

William Gheen: Immigration Will 'Overthrow The American Republic'

William Gheen of the anti-immigrant Americans for Legal Immigration PAC appeared on Newsmax last week, where he declared that those who support immigration reform are either motivated by “simple greed” or want to “overthrow the American republic” by taking “the current stock of Americans” and replacing them with “a population that I guess is more agreeable to their political agendas or worldview.”

“You have an invasion that’s being conducted here by a lot of different actors who have a lot of different types of things to gain, from simple greed and increased profits for their companies and businesses, to others who see this as a way to overthrow the American republic, to take the current stock of Americans, throw us out of our jobs and homes and elections, and replace us with a population that I guess is more agreeable to their political agendas or worldview,” he said.

Phyllis Schlafly: Immigrants Are Destroying The American Family

Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly is out with a new book called “Who Killed The American Family?” the surprising answer to which is “not just the gays.”

In an interview with the Daily Caller this weekend, Schlafly pointed her finger at one culprit she sees in the death of the family: immigrants.

Immigrants from Latin America, Schlafly told the conservative outlet, “try to tell you they’re very pro-family, but they have a tremendously high illegitimacy rate,” which, she said, causes them to run to “Big Brother” government.

According to Schlafly, one of the most overlooked factors behind the death of the American family is mass immigration.

“I think it’s [immigration] enormous,” the conservative activist told The Daily Caller in reference to mass immigration’s impact on the family.

Schlafly has noticed a disturbing trend among immigrants from Latin American countries that further erodes the traditional family unit. “They try to tell you they’re very pro-family, but they have a tremendously high illegitimacy rate,” she said.

According to the author, this illegitimacy rate leads many to depend on the government for their needs, rather than the family. This makes for weak families in Schlafly’s opinion and diminishes the core values that underlie America.

“When a woman has children without a husband to provide for her, she runs to ‘Big Brother’ government to support her,” she insisted. “There are people who think that they will profit by giving us big government to run our lives. That’s not the American way. That’s not what we wanted. When we started out, we were a country of intact families and we expanded to build the greatest middle-class in the world — prosperous and happy.”

“That seems to be gone now.”

Republicans Said What About Immigrants?

Today PFAW is releasing a new digital ad in Virginia highlighting GOP Congressional candidate Barbara Comstock’s dehumanizing rhetoric toward immigrants. Taking a page out of former gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli’s playbook, who has compared immigrants to rats, last month Comstock compared immigrants to FedEx packages.

Comstock said in a recent debate: “Fedex can track packages coming in here all the time. We can track people who are coming into the country, and we can do that right.”

Beginning today, the ad (pictured above) will run in Northern Virginia until Election Day, as will a Spanish-language version of the ad. The text above the ad notes:

Virginia Republicans continue to use dehumanizing and degrading language towards immigrants. Hold them accountable on Election Day, November 4!

Comstock’s comment is just the latest example from a political party that continues to alienate the Latino community with its demeaning rhetoric and harmful agenda. Despite what GOP candidates may believe, immigrants are not rats, or Fed Ex packages, or dogs, or drug runners. That’s why PFAW is working hard this election cycle — in states including Georgia, North Carolina, Colorado, and Wisconsin — to highlight for Latino voters the harmful track records of GOP candidates, and encouraging voters to keep that in mind when they cast their ballots on Election Day.

Judicial Watch's Farrell: Obama And Latino Groups 'Coordinated' Unaccompanied Minors Crisis

In an interview with Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg yesterday, Judicial Watch “investigator” Chris Farrell claimed that the crisis of unaccompanied Central American children fleeing to the southern U.S. border was a “manufactured crisis” that was “coordinated and prompted” by advocacy groups like the National Council of La Raza in concert with the Obama administration.

Citing the fact that the Obama administration had advance warning of the escalating humanitarian crisis, Farrell suggested that the administration in fact orchestrated it with the help of immigrants’ rights groups.

“My personal opinion is that this was all coordinated and prompted by groups like La Raza going down to Honduras and Guatemala and essentially organizing and promoting this,” he said.

“This wasn't just spontaneous combustion,” he continued. “This was an effort, a thought-out plan.”

Michael Savage: GOP-Led Congress Should Arrest Obama

Michael Savage urged his listeners this week to support Republican congressional candidates in November in hopes that a GOP-controlled Congress will order the arrest of President Obama.

The right-wing talk radio host said on Tuesday that a potential executive action to defer deportation proceedings against some undocumented immigrants amounts to “criminal activity” that should trigger an attempt by Republicans to arrest the president “for usurping the Constitution and Congress.”

Savage later declared that if the president were to take such an action, it would amount to “a treasonous act against the American people,” for which he could “then be arrested and tried for treason.”

He then wondered if Obama will “spend a few years in Indonesia or Kenya” following his treason trial.

Savage said a push to impeach and remove Obama from office would be too easy on the president, arguing that Obama is a “mad man” who should be arrested for treason just like Aaron Burr.

However, he warned that the upcoming election has “already been stolen because there’s been over one million absentee ballots cast already, mostly for Democrats, they’ve already rigged the election. Then you have the issue of the illegal aliens voting, rig the election.”

Right-Wing Activists Promise '60s Era Sit-Ins' To Keep IDs From Immigrants

Anti-immigrant activists William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC and James Neighbors of Overpasses for America warned yesterday that if President Obama takes executive action to prevent the deportation of certain undocumented immigrants, they will respond with “60s era sit-ins” and chain themselves to the doors of government offices charged with distributing identification documents.

Gheen and Neighbors, who are teaming up with a number of groups including Numbers USA and the anti-Obama Two Million Bikers to D.C. this weekend to hold a series of protests linking undocumented immigrants to Ebola, appeared on Blog Talk Radio’s “Patriot Nation” show yesterday to promote the event and to warn of a possible executive action by Obama.

“We’re going to need some very brave people who are willing to face arrest by peaceably conducting ‘60s era sit-ins to actually go in and block those offices that will be set up all over the place to start giving ID to these illegal immigrants,” Gheen said. “We’re going to have to march into those offices and try to physically stop them from doing what they’re doing, hoping that that will awake this nation.”

Neighbors one-upped him, promising to “chain myself to the front door” of offices issuing documents to immigrants so “they’re going to have to arrest me.”

“I’ll chain my arm to yours, brother, and we’ll put a big piece of PVC around them so they can’t cut the chain and we’ll chain ourselves to the door and do what we need to do,” Gheen responded.

Steve King Threatens Government Shutdown, Impeachment Over Immigration Executive Action

In an interview with Newsmax today, Rep. Steve King warned that an executive action by President Obama providing deportation relief for some undocumented immigrants living in the United States would perhaps irrevocably destroy “our constitutional republic” by turning the United States into a “lawless third-world nation” and Obama into a “king.”

“If the American people take that sitting down or lying down, then our constitutional republic has been destroyed to the point where putting it back together again in our lifetime looks to me like it’s a very difficult task,” he warned, adding that anti-immigrant demonstrators should “surround the White House” and “protest outside the gates of the president’s residence until he lets go of this unconstitutional action.”

The Iowa Republican added that if Obama were to take executive action, he would force a government shutdown and move to impeach the president.

“We know there is the ‘I-word’ in the Constitution that none of us want to say or act on but I would have never had said there will be no boots on the ground, so in this context, everything is on the table because our republic is on the table, our constitutional republic is on the table,” he said.

Steve King: US Becoming A 'Third-World Country' Thanks To Undocumented Immigrants Bringing In Ebola And Beheadings

Donald Trump travelled to Iowa to campaign for Rep. Steve King this past weekend, and their joint press conference was just about as ridiculous as you might imagine.

The two heaped praise on one another, with Trump calling King “a special guy” and “a smart person with really the right views on almost everything” and King gushing that “time after time, when the hand of Donald Trump reached out and touched something, it turned into something good for America.”

And they tried to outdo each other with criticism of President Obama, as Trump evaded questions about his own plans to run for president while blaming Obama for such offenses as turning major U.S. airports into “third-world airports.”

But it was King who really took the opportunity to shine. In video captured by the Iowa Republican, King went on a long tirade claiming that America is becoming “a third-world country” because of “the things that are coming at us from across the border,” including illegal drugs, Central American children of “prime gang recruitment age,” ISIS, a childhood respiratory illness that has spread in recent weeks, and the Ebola virus.

The ISIS and respiratory disease claims are based on unsubstantiated reports in the right-wing media, while there is absolutely no link between border enforcement and Ebola or the Oklahoma beheading incident.

Later, in response to a question about President Obama’s supposed penchant for golf, King mused on how President Obama wants “to treat people in Africa as if they were American citizens.”

“What is his vision for this country?” he asked. “He must think now that he’s president of the world, that he’s going to treat people in Africa as if they were American citizens and somehow we can’t define this American sovereignty or American citizenship.”

He went on to accuse the president of causing racial division in America — “he has pitted people against each other down the lines of divisions that are God-given characteristics” — while touting his own credentials as a unifier:

“I want to pull us all together under those principles to build America. That’s freedom of speech, religion, the press, the right to keep and bear arms — whether that’s to pick up a shotgun and shoot a pheasant or pick up a seven iron and discipline your husband.”

Anti-Immigrant Coalition To Hold Protests Blaming Undocumented Immigrants For Ebola

William Gheen’s Americans for Legal Immigration PAC and James Neighbors of Overpasses for America, the crack team that brought us this summer’s sparsely attended and unabashedly xenophobic protests against Central American children, are back with another round this weekend, this time attempting to tie undocumented immigrants to the Ebola virus.

In an email alert that went out to Gheen’s activist list yesterday with the subject line “New National Wave of Protests Against Obama, Illegla Immigration, & Ebola,” Gheen and Neighbors announce that a “new twist to this next wave of events will be protesters wearing medical face masks to protest Obama allowing Ebola into America.”

In the email, Gheen implies that undocumented immigrants — including the longtime U.S. residents who would be affected by immigration reform — are bringing Ebola into the United States. "Obama won't stop Ebola from entering America because to do so he would have to stop his immigration reform plans and illegal immigration!" he declares.

After making history in July with more than 300 protests nationwide in a 24 hour period, this next wave is designed to remind voters that Obama's policies are on the ballot in the November 4, 2014 midterm elections and which may become American's last chance to rebuke Obama and put a stop to his plans to decree amnesty for millions of illegal aliens before year's end! A new twist to this next wave of events will be protesters wearing medical face masks to protest Obama allowing Ebola into America.

"We need a Democrat apocalypse on November 4 and then to go after the Republicans facilitating Obama's dictatorial abuses of power and immigration reform amnesty, which are designed to permanently destroy America's borders, the Constitution, and the Republic!" said William Gheen President of ALIPAC. "Obama won't stop Ebola from entering America because to do so he would have to stop his immigration reform plans and illegal immigration!"

Some protesters will carry signs opposing Obama's plans to allow non American Ebola patients to be brought into America while refusing to stop non essential travel from Ebola infection areas. Others plan to wear face masks and bio suits in protest increasing the visual display attracting public attention with American flags and signs! [sic throughout.]

Not only have there been no cases of Ebola among undocumented immigrants in the United States, but there have been no cases in any of the top ten countries of origin of undocumented immigrants.

But, as we noted last week, the anti-immigrant movement has been hyping fears of Ebola in an attempt to tie the virus to immigration. Gheen is especially eager to tie his anti-immigrant activism to the right-wing issue of the day, including organizing rallies in support of the police officer who shot Missouri teenager Michael Brown.

Gheen and Neighbors are fringe activists, but they aren’t treated as such by many in the anti-immigrant Right. Their protests this summer were promoted by right-wing talk show hosts including Mark Levin and the American Family Association’s Sandy Rios, and one protest even included a birther-leaning speech by Rep. Steve King of Iowa.

The Center for New Community has posted a map of this weekend’s planned protests, with the note that many protests that Gheen and his allies announced this summer didn’t actually seem to take place at all.

People. Not Packages.

GOP Congressional candidate Barbara Comstock thinks the government should track immigrants like FedEx tracks packages.

"Fedex can track packages coming in here all the time," Comstock said. "We can track people who are coming into the country."

Last year, Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli even compared immigrants to rats.

Republicans aren’t just using dehumanizing rhetoric – they’re pushing an agenda that would harm Virginia families.

People are not Packages!

Vote against the Republicans on November 4th.

Ira Mehlman: Obama's Ebola Response Driven By 'Amnesty Agenda'

Over the past several weeks, anti-immigration groups have jumped on the Ebola crisis in an effort to push their own cause, using the disease to stir up generalized xenophobic fears of disease-ridden foreigners.

In an interview with Janet Mefferd yesterday, the Federation for Immigration Reform’s Ira Mehlman called for a travel ban from West African countries facing Ebola outbreaks — a move that experts warn would do nothing to stop the spread of the disease and might even make it worse.

After Mehlman attempted to connect the Ebola crisis with undocumented immigration, saying “people with diseases” are coming across our “open borders,” Mefferd asked if “the refusal of the president to stop the flights coming from West Africa is due to his amnesty ideology.”

“You know, I think it’s probably due to a combination of factors and his amnesty agenda is probably one of them," Mehlman responded.

Later in the program, Mefferd wondered if “a terrorist intentionally injected with Ebola” might “come into an American hospital” to infect people — a rumor that the FBI director has said there is no evidence to support.

“You can certainly speculate that people might do that and it’s something that we ought to be concerned about,” Mehlman said. “So, again, these are all the reasons why we have immigration laws and why they need to be enforced.”
