American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer said yesterday that he wants to reach out to liberals and find common ground with them, and came up with a plan to treat Muslims like members of the Ku Klux Klan. He lamented that Muslims have a “zone of protection similar to the zone of protection that homosexual activists have, you can’t criticize them or they will come after you hammer and tongs,” even though Islam is driven by a “dark religious impulse.”
“It’s a cancer, it’s a toxin and yet here it is infiltrating our culture and you can’t criticize it,” Fischer said of Islam.
Then, Fischer made an appeal to liberals: “I would say to my friends on the left, whatever you think we ought to do to the KKK, that’s what we ought to do to Islam.... If you think we shouldn’t give building permits to the KKK to build some kind of convention center where they can have their conferences and their rallies, then fine, let’s not issue building permits for mosques for exactly the same reason.”
Earlier this month, India's Supreme Court ruled that fatwas issued by Sharia courts carried no legal power and could not be enforced by the government or against the will of those who refuse to abide by them.
Gordon Klingenschmitt was quite pleased with this decision because, as he said on today's "Pray In Jesus Name" program, Islam is a false and demonic religion as demonstrated by the fact that it requires women who have been raped to marry their rapist.
"That's a demonic spirit," Klingenschmitt said, "when you force a woman to marry her rapist and you call that good practicing of Islam. I think Islam is demonic so far as it teaches that kind of teaching."
Apparently, Klingenschmitt has never read the Bible, specifically Deuteronomy 22:28-29:
28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.
Brigitte Gabriel of ACT for America appeared on “Trunews” last week to discuss her belief that she is facing persecution from the media because of her anti-Muslim activism, but ended up explaining her belief that President Obama is a secret Muslim.
“Trunews” host Rick Wiles sparked the conversation about Obama’s supposed secret Islamic faith by alleging that the president is “outright arming and training and assisting radical jihadist groups in the Middle East such as ISIS” and engineered a “massive cover-up” around the 2012 Benghazi attack.
Gabriel implied that the president is in fact a Muslim by arguing that he was “raised as a Muslim child and idealized his Muslim father,” even though his father was an atheist and there is no evidence Obama was brought up as a Muslim.
After Gabriel claimed that Obama has consistently sided with the Muslim Brotherhood, Wiles made the interview’s subtext even clearer: “You know the old saying about a duck, if it waddles like a duck and it quacks like a duck…”
“It’s a duck,” Gabriel said.
Wiles added: “He’s not only pro-Islam, he’s pro-jihadist Islam. Let’s be blunt about it, he’s not just sympathetic to the Muslim religion, his foreign policies and his strategies and his covert operations are aiding and helping and funding jihadist terrorists in the Middle East.”
Gabriel later argued that Obama views terrorist groups as “good freedom fighters” because he is the product of a university system that is covertly run by Saudi Arabia. “He had friends who were terrorists,” she said. “He does not look at his friends as terrorists, he looks at his friends as freedom fighters.”
Oddly, after speaking with Wiles about how universities are filled with Marxist radicals, Gabriel said that “the average college student today cannot tell you anything about Marxism or communism or anything like that, they are not educated about these things in America today. What they are educated about and what they care about is ‘Survivor,’ ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ the Art, I mean, we have kids majoring in the Art, the Cultural Art, Women’s Rights and all of those things and they graduate and they cannot even find a job because it’s not the real world.”
“When it comes to the education about the Middle East, those college kids for the last twenty years in the United States are basically fed whatever information they have from Saudi-funded sources that is funding Middle East Studies departments at our elite universities,” she continued.
“Whoever is teaching them is appointed in the Communications class or the Middle East Studies department class by Saudi-funded chair to teach them that the Islamic world is just freedom fighters fighting this big meanie, imperialist, Zionist conspiracy to rule the world.”
On her Friday radio show, Sandy Rios of the American Family Association chatted with a caller about whether Islam is the “whore of Babylon” mentioned in Revelation, which naturally gave her the opportunity to rant against President Obama.
“The President is a Marxist” whose “sympathies are most definitely with Islam,” Rios said, before telling listeners that they should be “prepared to die for their faith” in the face of supposed anti-Christian persecution.
“There’s no question about that, in his own book he said whenever there is a dispute about where I’m going to come down, I’m always going to come down on the side of Islam,” Rios said. “And he’s done that, he’s said that our space program was to help in the education of Muslims.”
Actually, Obama did not say that in his book. A bogus chain email claims Obama wrote in Dreams From My Father that “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” The real quote doesn’t even mention Islam:
Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.
Rios’ claim about NASA similarly has its origins in baseless right-wing paranoia.
Trunews host Rick Wiles’ interview with former congressman Allen West yesterday was about as crazy as you would expect, riddled with conspiracy theories about how President Obama is a secret Muslim who is supporting an Islamic caliphate.
“Do you think Barack Obama is secretly aiding the rise of an Islamic caliphate?” Wiles asked West.
“I don’t think it is secretly happening, I think that you can look at his actions and he is enabling Islamist forces to be successful in the Middle East,” West replied. “He is aiding the rise of radical Islamism, not just in the Middle East but really across the world.”
West wasn’t done there: “We don’t really know who this President Obama is and I’m not talking about his birth certificate. We don’t know who he is, we don’t know about his college transcripts, we don’t know what he was doing in Pakistan when he was back in college and who funded him to go over to Pakistan.”
When Wiles asked if “Barack Obama is the ultimate jihadist” and “waging jihad against the United States of America,” West argued that the president “has without a doubt sided with Islamists.”
“I believe Barack Obama has an eastern orientation, not a western civilization orientation,” West said.
West tried to explain how Obama is both a supporter of Sunni Muslim terrorists and the Shiite-dominated Iran.
Despite the fact that Saudi Arabia and Iran are regional rivals and practice different forms of Islam, West predicted that the two countries — along with Turkey — will “come together” as part of a new “radical Islamist empire.”
The former congressman also agreed with Wiles’ assertion that Obama “orchestrated an invasion of the United States of America” through immigration and is now “trying to break the Republic,” arguing that Obama is “trying to fundamentally destroy, transform, subvert, America as a constitutional republic.”
Yesterday, Bryan Fischer penned a column in which he declared that Islam is a contagious disease that must be completely quarantined before it can infect America and done so by banning entry to any and all Muslims:
Islam is a contagious infection, a totalitarian ideology that threatens the social health of its infected host, the United States. This contagion needs to be contained by stopping Islamic immigration at our border. Just as we screen immigrants for contagious physical diseases, so we need to screen immigrants for contagious cultural diseases.
After Fischer read from his column during his radio program yesterday afternoon, he took calls from listeners, including one from Steven in Arkansas, who declared that, from a Christian perspective, "sharia law is probably preferable to what we have right now" in America where things like pornography and abortion are legal.
"They don't allow that in sharia law," Steven said, "so as far as that's concerned, they're probably a little bit more just than we are."
Fischer replied that Muslims "rightly accuse the United States of corrupting the morality of the entire world" because we allow the production and sale of pornography here.
"It's just embarrassing, it's humiliating that we have given them that" argument, Fischer declared. "When they go out and say the United States is the Great Satan because of all the pornography it produces, how do you argue against that because they are right. That is the work of Satan; we're producing it, we're distributing it all over around world, they have every right to complain about that":
On Sunday, Pope Francis hosted an interfaith "prayer gathering" at the Vatican featuring Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas as well as Jewish, Muslim and Christian spiritual leaders.
Bryan Fischer, of course, is not happy about it, mainly because Muslims worship a "demon god."
Saying that interfaith prayers are "horribly misguided," Fischer declared that "not every being that occupies the unseen world, the spiritual world, is a good guy, is a good spirit," explaining that in addition to the good spirits of God, Jesus, and angels, there are also countless dark, dangerous, and sinister spirits that are under the control of Satan.
Allah is one of the latter, Fischer proclaimed, saying "Allah, as he is referred to and thought of and addressed and spoken of and invoked by Muslims is not a god, he is a demon":
On Sunday, the Religious Right movement’s favorite rabbi, Daniel Lapin, devoted a segment of his weekly radio show to “liberalism’s love affair with Islam,” part of a running theme among right-wing activists about a purported alliance between progressives and radical Islamists. Lapin said that unlike conservatism, “liberalism is incredibly feminine” and as a result “loves [the] hard masculinity” found in Islam.
“If there is one thing that Islam has proven itself to be, certainly in recent years and even longer ago than that, it is very masculine, it is violent, it is aggressive, it is dominating and it is very firm and very confident and very sure of itself, all of these very masculine characteristics,” Lapin said.
“I believe that liberalism is drawn to it, I think liberals want to be seduced by Islam, I think liberals lay themselves down before masculine strength,” he said, continuing with the sexual analogy. “There is a reason that it is biologically impossible for a woman to rape a man, it can’t be done. And I do believe that a good deal of liberalism’s supine nature with respect to Islam, liberalism’s docility in the face of Islam, has to do with a deep desire to yield to strength.”
When HGTV pulled the plug on a reality TV show starring North Carolina real estate dealers and brothers David and Jason Benham following a Right Wing Watch report on David’s anti-gay, anti-choice, anti-Muslim activism, David Benham insisted that the network withdrew support due to misinformation and “lying,” asserting that neither he nor his brother “hate homosexuals.”
Although Religious Right activists have been rushing to defend Benham, none has yet been able to explain how Right Wing Watch’s list of verbatim quotes from Benham constituted misinformation.
In fact, the interviews we featured in our post are just examples of Benham’s large portfolio of right-wing activism. Since writing our original post, we have found several other examples of Benham’s extremism.
In a January 2012 interview, Benham explained his “love” for homosexuals when he suggested that gay people are under the control of “demonic forces,” arguing that once he succeeds in recriminalizing abortion, he will next defeat the “homosexual agenda” and Islam.
Benham was speaking with none other than Michael Brown, an anti-gay activist who has gone so far as to defend Uganda’s brutal homosexuality law and who leads a group which includes Benham as a board member.
Benham: We have the tools, we have the stones, we have the weapons, we’ve been faithful with the lion and bear stories, we’re charging at this Goliath called abortion and when we take Goliath down, I promise you, all of the church will start coming out of the caves. The homosexual agenda is next, tolerance towards radical Islam is next, we’re going to start taking these Goliaths down, we’re not afraid anymore.
Brown: To take them down means with the life of Jesus, light instead of darkness, life instead of death, transformation instead of bondage.
Benham: ‘Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, rulers and authorities of darkness.’ We love these people and so we are not going to allow the demonic forces and agendas behind them to destroy life.
In an August 2012 edition of Brown’s show, Benham said that Islam is a “demonic agenda that wants to come and take America” and repeated the bogus right-wing myth that President Obama endorsed a Muslim prayer rally.
He also told Brown that he is leading a “spiritual battle” against Islam, warning that the United States will soon “change gods,” embrace Islam and invite war.
Previously, the Anti-Defamation League reported that Benham called mosques a “den of iniquity” and said Muslims are “enslaved in the tyrannical bondage of Islam” and are “the enemy attacking” America.
Furious over halal Subway restaurants in the United Kingdom, Pamela Geller appeared on “The Janet Mefferd Show” yesterday to allege that while Muslim customers demand full compliance, Jewish customers would never do such a thing: “A Jewish person doesn’t eat non-kosher meat, that’s all. They don’t say, ‘This restaurant can’t serve meat that’s not kosher.’ This is what [Muslims] do, they impose their halal, or in this case their Sharia, on non-Muslims.”
In fact, Subway does have kosher restaurants that don’t serve non-kosher menu items.
The Jewish Telegraph Agency found several kosher Subway restaurants in the US where “ham and bacon were removed from the menu, the ‘cheese’ is made of soy, and the Seafood Sensation sandwich is filled with imitation crab. Two microwaves and toaster ovens ensure that fish and meat are kept separate, a consideration for more observant Jews. There is a full-time mashgiach, or kosher supervisor, and the restaurant is closed on Shabbat.”
The Wall Street Journal also reports that Subway has restaurants with “Glatt Kosher” signs that don’t “serve pork or offer dairy products and meat.”
“In addition, an Orthodox Jewish employee must turn the oven on and off each day and the restaurants have to pay to be certified by a rabbinical organization that sends a rabbi over at random times to supervise operations. They are also closed at what are peak dining times—the Jewish Sabbath, which begins on sundown Friday and ends at sundown Saturday.”
Later in the interview, Mefferd wondered if there is an effort underway to push the “Islamization of the American public schools,” and Geller warned that Common Core is pushing Islam:
Fischer told one caller — who said that Obama is a Muslim “double agent” — that he’s “talked to people that are insiders in D.C. and they’ve told me that everybody here thinks that, they won’t say it in public, but almost everybody here believes that secretly he is a follower of the Islamic faith.”
“I just know for an absolute fact that he has an antipathy toward Christianity but an inordinate fondness and affection for the Islamic religion,” he said.
BarbWire columnist Bill Muehlenberg is worried that Subway may “soon remove female employees, or at least cover them in burqas.”
Why? Because of a Daily Mail story about Subway restaurants in the United Kingdom and Ireland serving halal meat in their stores.
As The Blaze notes, the Daily Mail’s article deals with a halal restaurant program that Subway launched in 2007. Snopes adds:
Since 2007, Subway's corporate policy has been to permit menu item substitutions in areas where the local customer base follows dietary restrictions. In India, many franchises substitute lamb and chicken items for beef and pork throughout their menus, and some do not sell any meat products at all. In the United States, Subway has several kosher franchises that do not carry pork products or serve dairy with meat. In the United Kingdom and Ireland, fewer than 200 out of 1,500 Subway sandwich franchises conform to Muslim dietary restrictions: their meat suppliers are certified halal, and no pork products are used. Instead, those locations use turkey products to substitute for ham and bacon.
But Muehlenberg warns that halal Subway restaurants are signs of “stealth jihad” and “the loss of freedom and democracy.”
Whether in Western nations or in supposed moderate Muslim nations, the spread of sharia continues unabated. And the loss of freedom and democracy is the inevitable result. As Islam continues to conquer by force of arms or stealth jihad, the liberties of the rest of the world continue to shrink.
Cases of this occurring are never ending it seems, and you finish one article on this, only to find new, even more frightening examples of creeping sharia. The capitulation of the Western world to the demands of Islam is hugely worrying, and places like Europe and the UK seem just about gone.
Consider the latest move in the UK to placate and appease Islam, even if it means snubbing your nose at Englishmen themselves. The headline reflects a growing trend to do everything to accommodate Islam, no matter what the consequences for everyone else: “Subway removes ham and bacon from nearly 200 stores and offers halal meat only after ‘strong demand’ from Muslims.”
And what next? Will Subway bow to further Islamic pressure and stop serving altogether during Ramadan? Will it soon remove female employees, or at least cover them in burqas to keep Muslims happy? Will they soon be lying out Islamic prayer mats for any devout Muslim seeking to do his daily religious duties while munching on his sub sandwich?
“What we’re looking at is a world system like the Nazis, and the Nazis thought of themselves as a religion, Communism thought of itself as a religion, but all have a concept of world domination that they’re going to put people in a bind and at the same time take them away from Jesus,” Robertson said, adding that “the greatest weapon against that kind of thing is the power of God and the spoken word.”
Today on the 700 Club, Pat Robertson pointed to British Prime Minister David Cameron’s recent description of the United Kingdom as a “Christian country” as a source of hope against the Islamist-atheist hordes attacking America.
“This nonsense about separation of church and state has gotten way, way beyond the bounds of what the Founders of our Constitution thought,” Robertson said. “We’re under assault by militant Islamists, militant atheists, secularists, those who want to destroy all of the fabric of faith in our society.”
Later in the program, the televangelist warned that “there are people representing the Muslim Brotherhood who are in the highest councils of the security apparatus of the United States of America advising our leaders as to how to deal with terrorism. Nonsense.”
As we reported yesterday, conservative activists are livid about a new bill to update a 1993 National Telecommunications and Information Administration report “on the current prevalence of hate crimes and hate speech in telecommunications,” which anti-Muslim activist Pamela Geller said “is Sharia.”
While speaking to Janet Mefferd yesterday, Geller alleged that the bill will “silence” any “criticism of the left and of the Islamic machine,” while Mefferd called the legislation “creeping Sharia like crazy.”
The 1993 report [PDF] unmistakably denounced the very hate speech measures that Geller suggests are included in the bill: “NTIA endorses the belief, expressed by virtually every commenter, that the best remedy to hate speech is not government restrictions, but more speech, to disseminate views that challenge notions of hate and bigotry.”
Geller then cited the disputed claim that Matthew Shepard’s murder was not motivated by anti-gay animus to argue that the bill is like a “steaming pile of dung [packaged] in a Tiffany box with a little white ribbon.”
Mefferd: Boy, you know, this just is creeping Sharia like crazy. What is going on with this legislation? I understand the House version was actually filed back in December but now Senator Markey is on board with it.
Geller: We saw this coming, Janet, and you’ve been on top of it, really on the tip of the spear so I thank you for that, most press folks are ignoring it because it may very well be something that they would support because it would silence, as if we weren’t silenced enough, any criticism of the left and of the Islamic machine.
Geller: This is completely and utterly unacceptable because at the end of the day, this is the Sharia, that’s exactly what this is. Believe me, they’ll package it the way they packaged hate crimes. If you recall they used Matthew Shepard as a vicious gay killing when we then found out that it was really a drug deal gone bad with a previous lover, it doesn’t matter, this is the steaming pile of dung they package in a Tiffany box with a little white ribbon.
Conservative talk show host Lisa Benson warned on Sunday that Somali refugees control the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and insisted that she will not ride in taxis with Somali drivers out of fears for her safety.
“There is an exclusive contract with the Somali community both for janitorial services and for taxi driving” — not exactly sure how an airport has an “exclusive contract” with an ethnic community, but she goes on — “the refugee community has unrestricted access at my airport to baggage, to planes, to many, many things.”
“Getting out of the plane last weekend I went to a taxi stand and quietly asked the attendant to put me in a cab, preferably not a Somali cab – that was my first mistake as I was trying to protect myself,” she said, suggesting that she would be a victim of an anti-Semitic attack if she was in a car with a Somali driver.
CAIR reported on Benson’s remarks and noted that “Benson’s Board of Advisors includes notorious Islamophobes such as Nonie Darwish, Steven Emerson and John Guandolo.”
Allen West joined Fox News hosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Steve Doocy today to warn that the Muslim Brotherhood is establishing itself as a US political party as part of its goal to destroy America.
The notoriously Islamophobic former congressman told Fox News that the formation of the US Council of Muslim Organizations, which was recently established to increase Muslim-American political and community engagement, is in fact creating a Muslim Brotherhood-aligned “political party.”
Hasselbeck introduced the segment by speculating that voters will soon have “Muslim Brotherhood” as an option on the ballot, while Doocy feared that the US Council of Muslim Organizations is trying “to wage jihad from within.”
West attacked Muslim-American groups for purported connections to the Holy Land Foundation trial. As we have noted, “in 2010, a federal judge found that prosecutors had violated the Fifth Amendment rights of a number of American Islamic groups by naming them in connection with the trial.”
Hasselbeck: When you head into the voting booth, what do you see on that ballot? Democrat, Republican…Muslim Brotherhood? We are one step closer to that reality, according to our next guest.
Doocy: Our next guest says radical Islamists are busy building a voting bloc to sneak their political agenda into the American system, their goal to wage jihad from within. Retired Army Lt. Col. Allen West is a Fox News contributor joins us today from Boynton Beach, Florida.
West: Good morning, how are you doing Steve and Elisabeth?
Doocy: We’re doing okay now until we’re going to find out about what you’re suggesting is going on in American politics, tell us about this.
West: Well you have the formulation of the US Council of Muslim Organizations and it’s very disconcerting because back in 1991 there was a document that was written and it was called the explanatory memorandum for the strategic goal of the group or the Brotherhood in North America, and during an FBI raid in 2007 in Northern Virginia this document was uncovered, translated into English and we’ve come to find out it’s the blueprint, the campaign strategy for the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States of America.
The groups that are forming this new Council of Muslim Organizations like CAIR, the Council for [sic] American-Islamic Relations, the Muslim American Society, the Islamic Society of North America, all of them have ties back to the Muslim Brotherhood. As a matter of fact, CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist funding case, the Holy Land Foundation case, in the United States of America. Recently, CAIR has gone out and protested against the documentary ‘The Honor Diaries’ being shown and campaigned heavily against Ayaan Hirsi Ali at Brandeis University to get that honorary degree. But now they are forming some type of political party, a voting bloc—
Doocy: In this country.
West: That’s right, to institutionalize policies that favor them.
Americans For Truth About Homosexuality head Peter LaBarbera is demanding the notoriously anti-gay Liberty University fire theatre artist Geoffrey Goldberg, who was hired to choreograph the school’s production of Mary Poppins, because he is gay. On Voice of Christian Youth America’s Tuesday edition of Crosstalk, LaBarbera and host Vic Eliason ganged up on Liberty University and demanded Goldberg’s ouster.
Liberty University has responded to news reports by saying that Goldberg is an “independent contractor supplied to the university through a third-party association who has never been employed or applied for employment” at the school.
LaBarbera name-dropped fellow anti-gay activists at Liberty including Mat Staver, Matt Barber and Rena Lindevaldsen, and urged the school to “do the right thing” and part ways with Goldberg. He even demanded Liberty and other universities refuse to allow “open homosexual advocates as students” and called on Grove City College to fire professor Warren Throckmorton over his criticism of ex-gay therapy and anti-gay laws in countries like Uganda.
Not to be outdone, Eliason worried about “percentage of homosexuals that have invaded the arts such as drama” in order to “capture the minds of individuals.”
Eliason: Christian News carried this story with the headline, ‘Liberty University Hires Open Homosexual Advocate To Choreograph Its Upcoming Broadway-Style Mary Poppins Production,’ what more do you know about this thing?
LaBarbera: I don’t know a lot about this one. Apparently he was a contractor and I think that the woman who spoke out on his behalf probably did not have the clearance of the university before she did that. I know the people I’ve worked with at Liberty and I hope they fix this problem because this is such a great organization, it’s done so much good work. Jerry Falwell did such tremendous work, Ronald Reagan would never have been president without Jerry Falwell, the founder of Liberty University.
The bigger story Vic is the one that didn’t get much play which is: Liberty University and other Christian universities who call themselves Christian, will they allow open homosexual advocates as students? In the old days if a student was out there celebrating sin, there would be consequences. But apparently that doesn’t happen much. We have other examples of course of universities gone bad. Good golly, Grove City College has some wonderful professors but they also have Warren Throckmorton who is pretty much a de facto gay activist now; a professor at Grove City College, which calls itself Christian and advertises in World Magazine and other Christian places, they have Warren Throckmorton who is pretty much a gay activist the way he advocates for homosexuality.
Eliason: It’s alarming when you see the percentage of homosexuals that have invaded the arts such as drama. But drama ends up being a tool to persuade the minds of people. It becomes a tool to do some mind-bending or to capture the minds of individuals. They’re starting now and you can see using Open Core [sic] and right on through the core idea of training children from right on up government-controlled education, and now we see what’s happening at the options of a university that could have put the brakes on this and said no, we’re going to look for someone who is really a representative of the lifestyle that we’re doing here. Does not Christianity have people of talent enough to do the choreography of a dramatic presentation without having to go to someone who openly endorses same-sex marriage?
LaBarbera: I think they do and I hope that Liberty does the right thing. Mat Staver, Matt Barber, Rena Lindevaldsen are just wonderful people and I think Liberty really has to watch it because of course the homosexual activists want to undermine Liberty, of course they want to undermine Christian institutions.
The AFTAH president went on to condemn gay rights advocates as the “Gay-KK” and “Gay-Stapo,” warning that the movement is a “homo-Marxist” effort based on “idiocy” and “tyranny.”
Eliason: I’ve heard of people talk about homo-fascists but you’ve got another term that’s been brought forward which is a little bit different.
LaBarbera: Well I’m using homo-Marxist and homo-fascist. Homo-fascism suggests this bully mentality, this idea that the homosexual activists know what is best for everybody and they’re going to take people down, anybody who gets in their way, undemocratic, that’s where that came from and now it’s really starting to gain popularity. Other pejorative sort of joking terms like the Gay-KK and the Gay-Stapo, but I’m also using homo-Marxist and here’s why I think it is actually more accurate.
The Communists, the Marxists, they’re the ones who had this radical egalitarianism, they thought they were going to make everybody equal and what did it do, it led to tyranny. Look at the homosexual lobby, they’re trying to pretend that homosexual behavior is somehow equal to the real deal, they call it marriage equality, that somehow two men getting ‘married’ is equal and deserves the same benefits and rights and standing in society as real marriage, and of course that’s idiocy, that’s nonsensical.
The interview concluded with a truly bizarre rant by Eliason calling transgender people and women construction workers “disgusting” and attacking “the Islamics, who can grow a beard now, which who knows it can get caught in a barbed wire fence, that wear a turban to designate who they are, I wonder if they’re trying to look for sympathy so that no one would shoot a guy with a turban on. I don’t understand.”
Eliason’s group is based in Milwaukee County, where in 2012 a white supremacist murdered six Sikhs, whose adherents wear turbans, at their Oak Creek temple.
LaBarbera: If they allow transsexuals into the military, you’re going to see guys and women joining the military just to get their body-altering, these terrible sex-reassignment surgeries paid for by the taxpayer.
Eliason: Mutilation, if you please.
LaBarbera: Mutilation, right.
Eliason: I can only imagine the confusion that would be there if here is some guy dressed in a big skirt trying to look feminine climbing into the left seat in a bomber or into a jetfighter and getting his dress all snarled up trying to climb in. We’re talking about guys running jackhammers and making bunkers and things like that, if there’s anything disgusting it’s to see, and I mean this kindly but women are made of God to be very special, and one day I was driving down the street and I saw this, well this lady was pretty hefty, but she was operating a jackhammer and what it did to her was absolutely astounding, it was wicked, it was a violation of the very purpose of the wonderful gift of femininity.
If we’ve got people here now suddenly all on the altar of being able to — it’s not just the transgenders [sic], now if you feel like you’re feminine one day and feel like you’re masculine the next day, you can change back and forth, switch-hitter. And of course we have to be fair, so we have also turned the option to the Islamics, who can grow a beard now, which who knows it can get caught in a barbed wire fence, that wear a turban to designate who they are, I wonder if they’re trying to look for sympathy so that no one would shoot a guy with a turban on. I don’t understand.
Recently, some billboards went up around Ohio proclaiming that "Jesus Is A Muslim" and they are not sitting well with "Coach" Dave Daubenmire who organized a rally against the billboards in Columbus over the weekend.
Daubenmire has posted clips from the rally on his YouTube page and though the event was hampered by cold and rainy conditions, a small group of passionate supporters turned out to join Daubenmire and other speakers in railing against "the evil spirit of Islam" and declaring, as preacher Rusty Thomas did, that America "is the Lord's house" and no other religion has the right to come here and try undermine this nation's Christian foundation.
"Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ," Thomas screamed, "he has defined himself in the sixty-six books of the Bible and HE WARNS, HE WARNS do not add, do not subtract from my book, otherwise you are a part of the den of thieves!"
Then, pointing across the street to the billboard in question, Thomas declared that if it were entered into a court of law as evidence, "it would be called perjury."
"In the court of public opinion," he continued, "it is slander! This is defamation of character. In religious circles, it is heresy and spiritually, it is blasphemy!"
