Obama impeachment

Alan Keyes: Obama Has 'Declared War On Our Posterity'

Alan Keyes is out with yet another column calling for Congress to impeach and remove President Obama, arguing that his 2004 U.S. Senate opponent should face impeachment proceedings over his handling of immigration, ISIS and Ebola.

Keyes suggests Obama is enacting “destructive policies” in a deliberate attempt to endanger American lives, establish “tyranny” and “permanently cripple America’s liberty.”

“But from abortion to crushing debt, from dissolute spending to the sinister promotion of specious ‘rights’ that dissolve the natural integrity of family life, the present generation of self-serving elitist faction political leaders has declared war on our posterity,”Keyes writes. “And so have all Americans who tolerate their continual betrayals of the genius of the American people, betrayals that must inevitably despoil our posterity of the blessings of liberty.”

From what I'm reading these days, Obama's response to the threatened spread of the Ebola epidemic is finally compelling other people to question the assumption of patriotic goodwill Americans are naturally inclined to make about the individual who occupies the White House. As WND editor and CEO Joseph Farah wrote in a recent column about Obama's Ebola strategy:

With at least 4000 military personnel...being sent into the hot zone, it's a near certainty some of them will contract the deadly disease. What then? Naturally, they will be brought home, with some risk of furthering the infection in the homeland.... Is this a purposeful effort to destroy the U.S. military? Whether it is or not, that is the effect it will surely have.

This is, of course, not the first time during Obama's White House tenure that Americans have been forced to ask themselves whether incompetence or malice is to blame for the undeniably destructive effect of Obama's policies on the lives, strength, and security of the people and institutions he is supposed to serve.

Though Obama and his collaborators (including many in the GOP's elitist faction leadership) couch it in terms of dreamy jobs and economic opportunity, their push to legitimize illegal immigration into the United State has already damaged the nation's health. It is now being openly admitted that it gives terrorist cadres (including agents of the Islamic State's anti-American terror campaign) opportunities to enter and disperse throughout the country.

The way to stop Obama in his tracks is to use impeachment to call him before the bar of constitutional accountability, and then to conduct the process that will put every representative and senator on the spot, with the choice to remove Obama and his collaborators, or declare themselves complicit in the destructive policies the Obama faction has pursued and the precedents for tyranny they are seeking to establish.

Of course, this proper constitutional proceeding would set the record straight, thwarting those who mean to use Obama's tenure as the excuse and justification for the tyranny they are determined to impose upon us. Such proceeding would serve our posterity, even if it failed to remove a lame duck president. For it would help to assure that his malicious precedents did not permanently cripple America's liberty.

But from abortion to crushing debt, from dissolute spending to the sinister promotion of specious "rights" that dissolve the natural integrity of family life, the present generation of self-serving elitist faction political leaders has declared war on our posterity. And so have all Americans who tolerate their continual betrayals of the genius of the American people, betrayals that must inevitably despoil our posterity of the blessings of liberty. Together they are creating a record for this generation that will make it a loathsome byword in the minds of our posterity, at least for any still capable of remembering what it means to be free.

Michael Savage: Ebola Could Be A 'Blessing' That Prompts Obama's Removal From Office

In an interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones last week, conservative radio host Michael Savage said President Obama plans to “use Ebola as a pretext” to exercise authoritarian control over the United States.

“He wants an insurrection,” Savage said of Obama. “He wants his Kristallnacht. He wants to take the guns, he wants to arrest people, he wants to detain people for their own safety.” Rather than getting impeached, Savage continued, Obama “is liable to use [Ebola] to gain even more power.”

Fortunately, Savage sees the bright side of an Ebola outbreak, hoping the virus might be a blessing in disguise if it “saves us from this psychotic in the White House.”

“You’re gonna think I’m a little weird here when I say that Ebola may be the silver lining,” he said. “Maybe that’s gonna awaken people to the fact that this man is not only incompetent, but that his radical open-borders agenda is gonna kill all of us. Just maybe, this could be a blessing.”

Jones warned that Obama may use Ebola as a “false flag and try to blame it on the liberty movement,” while Savage said Obama may remain as president even after his second term expires.

Complaining that the United States has not enacted a travel ban on people from regions where the disease is found, Savage argued that the president has less common sense than “third-world African dictators.”

Savage then attacked the “mentally ill” Democratic lawmakers in Congress who he said enable the president. “I think they’re crazy, they’re drugged, they’re on medication, antidepressants, they don’t know what the hell they’re talking about,” Savage offered as a diagnosis.

Alan Keyes: Violent Conflict May Be Necessary If Congress Doesn't Oust Obama

Alan Keyes has been attempting to rally conservatives to back the impeachment and removal of President Obama, telling them that if Congress doesn’t act, then violence may ensue.

Keyes writes today in WorldNetDaily that just as the Founding Fathers detailed their grievances before launching the American Revolution, the House of Representatives can use impeachment to “to substantiate the morally reasonable basis for their stand in defense of liberty. It allows and requires them to justify, before God and the decent opinion of humankind, why they are conscientiously determined to stand even despite the vicissitudes of war, rather than submit to tyranny.”

He argues that if the Senate “shields the perpetrators of executive abuses, even when, to a large majority of the people, their abuse have become insufferable,” then outright rebellion becomes an option.

In an oft-quoted observation (made in a letter to William Stephens Smith in November 1787), Thomas Jefferson wrote:

“… what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”

These days, Jefferson’s words understandably resonate with patriotic Americans disgruntled by Obama’s repeated and tyrannical derelictions and abuses of power. But is the patriotic reaction against them rooted in respect for the merits of the Constitution, reasonably thought through and understood? Or does it result from an unreasoning, blindly habitual attachment which, on that account, violates the logic of the Constitution, as well as that of the Revolution in political thought from which it emerged?

Assuming that Jefferson’s above quoted words are true, we realize that, under certain circumstances, the particular provisions for impeaching and removing the president and vice president may end up being the prelude for armed conflict. This may occur if and when a sufficient minority in the U.S. Senate stubbornly shields the perpetrators of executive abuses, even when, to a large majority of the people, their abuse have become insufferable. The language of the American Declaration of Independence marks this as the point at which the people’s right to resist tyranny becomes a natural obligation. It was the standard the founders of the United States articulated and upheld when they revolted against the tyranny initiated by certain enactments of King George III, which they enumerated in the Declaration.

The U.S. Constitution provides for the people, to investigate and indict intolerable abuses in a peaceful, orderly fashion, through their representatives in the House of Representatives, and with just reasoning and due process, to impeach high officials for their unlawful conduct. It also respects the practical lesson that can be drawn from the history of representative government in Great Britain. That history was known to many in the founding generation. They knew that it was the English House of Commons that provided the institutional rallying point and focus for resistance to tyranny. So, under the U.S. Constitution, the governmental body most immediately dependent on the people’s suffrage is charged with the systematic investigation and articulation of tyrannical injustices.

But by giving a somewhat more independent body, the U.S. Senate, responsibility for delivering the first verdict on any such offenses, the founders aimed to provide a safeguard against distempers occasioned by frivolous or tolerably transient complaints. But in any case, the Constitution’s provisions for public impeachment and trial involve the development of a permanent record of the reasonable deliberations of the people, like the record of deliberate remonstration laid down by the American colonists in the season before they declared their independence from Great Britain.

The impeachment provisions of the U.S. Constitution give people the means and opportunity to substantiate the morally reasonable basis for their stand in defense of liberty. It allows and requires them to justify, before God and the decent opinion of humankind, why they are conscientiously determined to stand even despite the vicissitudes of war, rather than submit to tyranny.

Clearly, therefore, even if a stubbornly tyrannical Senate minority prevents conviction, as a matter of practical fact the process of impeachment makes an indispensable contribution to the moral cause of liberty. In light of this, have you joined the Pledge to Impeach mobilization? If so, are you doing everything you can to encourage others you can influence to do likewise? In these last weeks before the November elections, the duty involved grows more imperative with every passing day.

Tony Perkins: Congress Must Be Courageous And Impeach Obama

Yesterday on “Washington Watch,” Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council said that Congress is suffering from a lack of courage.

If congressmen were really brave, Perkins explained, then they would vote to impeach President Obama.

Perkins made the remarks while discussing the opening hearing of the House Benghazi Special Committee: “We are a society, a government that operates under the rule of law and when we have people who don’t want to play by the rules, it really doesn’t work. And that’s why this president has messed thing up so much, he doesn’t want to play by the rules. And Congress is too fearful, too politically-minded to impeach this president because they’re fearful. We need leaders who are not fearful.”

Tom Tancredo: Impeach Obama Or People Will Consider Armed Rebellion

Tom Tancredo spoke to Tim Wildmon of the American Family Association today about why he supports impeaching President Obama, telling the “Today’s Issues” host that impeachment is the only process to remove Obama “short of armed rebellion that everybody constantly — you know, a lot of people, I guess I should say, think to themselves is either coming or a potential — and God knows that’s not something we want to see.”

The former congressman said the president’s actions are “so egregious and so dangerous to the Republic that unless we do something like impeachment, which is certainly deserved, that we will essentially have lost this thing no matter what happens in the next election.”

Tancredo previously said that if Republicans fail to impeach and remove Obama from office, “then the war is already lost and we should all stock our ammunition shelves and join a militia.

Renew America: God Will Bless America For Impeaching Obama

Yet another conservative commentator is citing divine intervention while making the case to impeach President Obama.

This time, Stephen Stone writes in BarbWire that God will bless America if Congress impeaches and removes the president. Stone, the president of the Alan Keyes-founded group Renew America, writes in a post for BarbWire today that impeachment is a “spiritual” undertaking. He predicts that the public will rally around impeachment once proceedings begin and expose Obama’s criminal “Marxist-Islamic remaking of America.”

Only by removing Obama and throwing his closest allies such as Vice President Joe Biden in jail, Stone writes, can Americans show God that we are repenting for having elected Obama in an effort to prove that we are "worthy of His grace, Providence, and miraculous intervention.”

Once impeachment begins and the investigation succeeds in exposing Obama and his accomplices, despite their attempts to hide from public scrutiny, we will witness a sea change in people’s attitudes toward the usurper in the White House — a sweeping tsunami of public outrage that could well put such pressure on the Senate that removing Obama becomes the only “politically expedient” thing to do.

The likelihood that impeachment will decisively expose Obama’s treason, treachery, fraud, lies, deceit, and destructive actions to millions of undecided Americans for the first time — through the investigation power the Constitution gives Congress in cases of impeachment — will all but ensure that undecideds quickly become believers, pitchforks in hand, in huge numbers.

It’s fair to say most Democrats didn’t sign on to Obama’s fraudulent promises for the purpose of destroying America. Most may be liberal, but they are not blatantly un-American, and will not tolerate the kind of Marxist-Islamic remaking of America that Obama has pushed since Day One — once they learn how deliberate and treasonable Obama’s lies and deceptions have actually been.

Only by impeachment — with its considerable power of investigation — can we fully come to know the truth previously obscured by the media about the man who presumes to be our dictator. That alone is worth every effort to get that far.

After Obama is exposed, we can expect his tenure to end at the hands of incensed, deceived former supporters — not to mention those sworn to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Dozens of Nixon’s associates went to prison over Watergate, and many more than that are likely to do so among Obama’s inner circle (including Vice President Biden). We can anticipate that one of these subordinates with extensive knowledge, and culpability, will step forth and negotiate a deal of immunity in exchange for blowing the top off of Obama’s obstructions and lawlessness.

If we really want to see impeachment result in Obama’s removal, and thus see America have a real chance of surviving the destructive designs of the man in the White House, we need to go back to our biblical heritage, seek God’s face, and submit to His will for us individually and as a people. (See 2 Chronicles 7:14.)

Preserving our nation is as much a spiritual as a political undertaking, just as it was at the time of our founding. Like our forbears [sic], we need to humble ourselves before God, repent of our personal and collective sins, and be worthy of His grace, Providence, and miraculous intervention.

That — and do everything in our power, under our system of government, to apply the constitutional remedy of impeachment and removal to the dire situation urgently facing our republic.

Paul Vallely Joins Pat Robertson To Call For Obama's Removal From Office

Paul Vallely, the conservative activist and former general who said he would lead a coup against President Obama, appeared today on “The 700 Club” to once again call for Obama’s removal through impeachment or other means.

While speaking with host Pat Robertson, Vallely called for “divine intervention” and demanded that Congress oust Obama and his national security team for pushing America down the road of “national suicide.”

“All of them need to go, they need to be replaced immediately,” he said. “Unfortunately in our Constitution we can only do impeachment, but we are generating what we call a ‘no confidence resolution’ in Congress this week that hopefully will lead to impeachment because we cannot let this regime in Washington continue to take us over the cliff.”

Robertson, who has prayed for God to remove Obama from office, told Vallely at the end of the interview that he “couldn’t agree with you more.”

Tom Tancredo: 'Join A Militia' If Republicans Don't Impeach Obama

Former congressman Tom Tancredo once again called on House Republicans to vote to impeach President Obama, writing this weekend in WorldNetDaily that the GOP should “call the White House’s bluff and proceed with impeachment.”

He warns that if Republicans are “afraid to challenge presumptuous dictatorial behavior,” then “the war is already lost and we should all stock our ammunition shelves and join a militia.”

Sometimes the arrogance of the Obama White House offers a gift that is really a Trojan Horse. But sometimes, the Obama hubris presents us a piñata full of unexpected treats. Which is it this time with the impeachment question?

Obama is daring the nation to impeach him. Is this a Trojan Horse or a piñata?

The only political question to be answered is not whether Obama will do it but how Republicans will respond. Even many in the Democratic establishment are admitting that general amnesty by edict is unconstitutional and, as such, is an impeachable offense. The Republican establishment – and the conservative establishment as well – is virtually unanimous in saying, yes, it is an impeachable offense, but it is a trap, so we must not talk about impeachment.

That argument is tantamount to saying that even if Obama burned the American flag on the White House lawn, we must look the other way and pretend it is a summer picnic because the Democratic base might get offended.

What is being recommended in the name of smart politics by the Charles Krauthammers and Karl Roves of the world is a gag order on impeachment talk in the face of blatant impeachable behavior. According to this line of thinking, talking about impeachment now is stupid politically, but we can talk about it later after we win a U.S. Senate majority in November. Anyone who believes that line will shell out big bucks for a resort honeymoon on Mars in a heartbeat.

We are no longer debating what is an impeachable offense; we are being asked to look away and pretend the Constitution is not being shredded. Our answer must be: Sorry, but that is not something allowed by the genetic code of patriots.

The truth is impeachment will NEVER be the safest course or the smartest course for the political establishment, but it is the necessary course for the survival of the U.S. Constitution even if ultimately rejected by the U.S. Senate after a fair trial. We must make the case for impeachment to demonstrate that no man is above the law, not even the first black president. If we do not make that case, we are betraying the Constitution and degrading our children’s inheritance.

If we go down the road of “not now but maybe later” when Obama is arrogantly daring us by openly engaging in clearly unconstitutional acts, when will it ever by “smart politics” to threaten impeachment against unconstitutional acts by any future president? Impeachment will always be “off the table.”

There is an additional reason we must call Obama’s bluff on impeachment. The time is now, not later, to accept the challenge presented by the threat to “energize the Democratic base.” Are we really that afraid that the Democrat base can be rallied in support of blatantly unconstitutional acts but that the Republican base cannot be motivated and energized to respond in kind? Are we really that afraid to challenge presumptuous dictatorial behavior? If so, then the war is already lost and we should all stock our ammunition shelves and join a militia.

Larry Klayman: Obama Wants 'Affirmative Action' For 'Muslim Terrorists'

Conservative legal activist Larry Klayman warned on Friday that President Obama and his allies “have created a new type of affirmative action where Muslim terrorists have more rights than our own military and our country as a whole,” arguing that the “Mullah in Chief” is siding with terrorists.

“The situation has reached an intolerable point, and it is time to either impeach Obama or find some other legal means to rid the nation of his treasonous and harmful ways,” he wrote in WorldNetDaily.

“Obama must now be held legally accountable for his treason, either through impeachment or some other legal means. The nation finally must be rid of this tyrant, who allows our own best and brightest to be sacrificed at the altar of his Muslim roots and sympathies.”

President Barack Hussein Obama, who is the head of the armed forces, has not only threatened Israel that U.S. aid would be cut off if it does not make peace with Hamas in light of Muslim civilian casualties in Gaza – thus preventing Israel from ridding the Middle East of this Muslim terrorist scourge by forcing a cease-fire amid similar threats by the United Nations and its compromised secretary general, Ban Ki-moon – but, true to past history, he and his secretary of state, John Kerry, also have refused to admit that the Afghan Muslim military is as much a threat to U.S. troops as the Taliban itself. This is because both Obama and Kerry lean heavily in favor of Muslim interests, not just with regard to Israel but our nation as well. For the commander in chief or even the secretary of state not to even make mention of the assassination of this general until well after the fact shows that he continues to be unwilling to admit that we are in a war with radical Islam. Of course, the answer for this is obvious. Obama, the “first Muslim president,” himself sympathizes not with the U.S. military, but those who oppose our efforts to rid the world of Muslim terrorism.

The situation has reached an intolerable point, and it is time to either impeach Obama or find some other legal means to rid the nation of his treasonous and harmful ways. It is one thing to stop Israel from eliminating Hamas on the basis that the Jewish state correctly waged war by not becoming fixated on casualties among those Muslims the terrorist group uses as human shields to do their bidding, but it’s quite another thing to sacrifice our own for Obama’s Muslim sympathies. After all, it was these Muslim civilians who voted Hamas into power in Gaza. They must now bear the consequences, as we Americans must bear the consequences for voting the Mullah in Chief into power in our nation.

Thus, in the world of war against radical Islam, Obama and his comrades, like Kerry and the U.N.’s Ban, have created a new type of affirmative action where Muslim terrorists have more rights than our own military and our country as a whole.

Obama must now be held legally accountable for his treason, either through impeachment or some other legal means. The nation finally must be rid of this tyrant, who allows our own best and brightest to be sacrificed at the altar of his Muslim roots and sympathies.

Alan Keyes: Impeach Obama As Part Of 'American Autumn'

Alan Keyes has been calling for President Obama’s impeachment since as far back as 2011, even citing support from divine sources. In an interview in May with Randall Terry, the anti-choice activist behind Operation Rescue, Keyes offered hope to those who would like to “snap your fingers and Barack Obama would no longer be president.”

“We don’t need an Arab Spring, we need an American Fall, we need an American Autumn,” Keyes said. “In America, autumn means go to the polls and vote, and this time we need to go to the polls and vote to remove Barack Obama and Biden and all of their collaborators and cronies from office.”

He urged voters to back pro-impeachment candidates for office: “Put the right Congress in and guess what you get? A Congress that will impeach and remove Barack Obama as the Constitution allows for it at any stage in his tenure. Make that the focus, and I’m doing it.”

Michele Bachmann Wants To Impeach Obama, Then Calls Impeachment A Democratic Plot

In an appearance on “The Lars Larson Show” last week, Rep. Michele Bachmann repeated GOP talking points about how President Obama is somehow behind the Republican-led effort to impeach him.

Bachmann told Larson that Obama is trying to “egg” Republicans to impeach him in order to “help his electoral chances in the fall,” and then will go ahead and “take any lawless action that he wants to because he really doesn’t think that the Republicans will impeach him. He figures it’s an open field day and now is the time to get everything he wants with his radical agenda.”

Yes, it is Obama who is behind the calls coming from congressional Republicans to impeach him,  it’s not like any Republican members of Congress, such as Michele Bachmann, would ever suggest Republicans do something like that… except for when she suggested last month that the GOP should make the case for impeachment and rally voters behind it. In fact, Bachmann backed calls to impeach Obama as far back as 2011.

What our president has done is commit impeachable offenses. He has committed them in terms of his lawless acts, he has failed to execute the laws. He said that he would not uphold the Defense of Marriage Act, which is a constitutionally passed law, he said he would not uphold that, as did his attorney general Eric Holder. That, as well as the President changing law like Obamacare, he writes with a press conference or with a Tweet or a Facebook or an announcement of one of his underlings, and then orders the executive branch to carry out his words rather than the law. That rises to the level of an impeachable offense.

Legally, do I believe our president has committed impeachable offenses? Yes I do. And I believe that our president is subject to impeachment. However, I agree with Andy McCarthy in that not only is impeachment a legal issue, it is even more so a political issue. The American people have to agree with and be behind and call for the president’s impeachment. Why do I say that? I say that because we the people who are elected in the United States Congress, we are here to be the voice of the people and we need to reflect what it is what the people are telling us.

There is a group of people who see that this president has committed an impeachable offense and are anxious for Congress to do something, but if you look at the overwhelming number of people, they just aren’t there yet and it is up to Congress to make the case and explain to the people why we have to impeach.

Erik Rush: If House Impeaches Obama, 'Senate Would Be Compelled To Remove Him'

WorldNetDaily pundit Erik Rush is calling on House Republicans to vote to impeach President Obama, writing that impeachment hearings will expose the president’s purported ties to al-Qaeda and ISIS and “create a situation in which even a Democrat-controlled Senate would be compelled to remove him.”

Rush, who previously supported an anti-Obama military coup and called for the president’s execution, writes today that Obama must be removed from office to ensure “that such an obscenity never again manifests in this nation.”

Think about it. Obama has to know that revelations made during impeachment proceedings (should they include such things as his identity fraud, releasing five of the most deadly terrorists alive in exchange for an Army deserter and likely traitor, catalyzing the Arab Spring, which has resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands, orchestrating the fall of the Gadhafi government in Libya, as well as the funding and training of al-Qaida and ISIS, to name just a few) could create a situation in which even a Democrat-controlled Senate would be compelled to remove him.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s meltdown (as well as a marked breach of decorum) on the House floor last week also may have been quite telling. Given Pelosi’s usual behavior, her explosion and insulting tirade against Rep. Tom Marino, R-Pa., was more in keeping with someone under great stress than a mere loss of temper or momentary lapse in judgment. In case the reader is unaware, it was Pelosi who put her name to the documents certifying one Barack Hussein Obama as eligible for the Democratic Party nomination to run for president in 2008. Perhaps she perceives that if Obama is ever held to account for some of his more egregious acts, she could go down with him.

Just this week, 79 percent of respondents to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll claimed that they were dissatisfied with President Obama. The same poll showed Americans expressing a distinct disgust with the way the country is being run in general. I believe that we still have a long way to go before Americans truly understand how things came to this point, but it’s a beginning.

The American people don’t necessarily have to understand the motivations of the Obama cabal at this juncture. Perceiving the danger we are in and the nature of the threat they present could very well be enough to facilitate its neutralization. Once this occurs, we can set about ensuring that such an obscenity never again manifests in this nation.

Mike Huckabee: Obama 'Acting Like God,' 'Worthy Of Impeachment'

Mike Huckabee appeared on Monday’s edition of Iowa-based Steve Deace’s radio talk show, where he said President Obama “absolutely” deserves to be impeached but cautioned that Republicans should not pursue impeachment at this time since the GOP doesn’t have the votes to convict him in the Senate.

“There’s no doubt that he has done plenty of things worthy of impeachment,” Huckabee said.

Earlier in the show, Huckabee accused Obama of deliberately weakening border security and creating lawlessness: “The government is going to have to secure the border. There’s a big difference between what we owe God and what we owe Caesar, and right now we’ve got Caesar acting like God.”

Huckabee also said that the U.S. should not have a problem constructing a fence along the southern border with Mexico since Israel built a barrier around areas of the West Bank.

Here’s a round-up of last week’s Right Wing immigration hysteria:

Renew America Columnist: Impeach Obama Because God

Dan Popp writes this weekend in Renew America, the far-right outlet run by impeachment advocate Alan Keyes, that Republicans should vote to impeach and remove President Obama from office because God wants them to go through with it.

He says Republicans should take a page from Moses, David and Martin Luther King Jr. and impeach Obama because God is on their side: “If God exists, and if it appears that the President – any President – has misused his authority, then we must do what is right and impeach him.”

Barack Obama deserves to be impeached. He deserves to be tried. And in my opinion he deserves to be removed from office. (So do many of the folks who would be impeaching and trying him, by the way.) If Obama were a Republican, Democrats would think so, too. That's one factor in the discussion on impeachment: the justice factor.

What about God?

What if Moses had thought better of defying his Obama, knowing that the consequence might be a more severe slavery for his brethren, rather than freedom? What if David had come to a reasonable conclusion about his prospects of victory over the nine-foot-tall Obama before him? – or Daniel, or Gideon, or Elijah, or the Apostles? What if the early Christian martyrs had looked at their approval ratings?

If these examples seem too remote, how about George Washington with his frostbitten few facing the greatest military in the world? Or those Christians who dared to try to eradicate chattel slavery, a tragedy that must have seemed like a permanent part of the human condition? How about Martin Luther King, Jr.'s renewal of their struggle? What of the young man in front of the tank in Tiananmen Square?

What if any of these had balked at the insurmountable "political realities" before them?

If there is a God, then what is right should trump any other consideration. He is the One who determines the rise and fall of nations, after all. If God exists, and if it appears that the President – any President – has misused his authority, then we must do what is right and impeach him.

We need a boatload of Esthers today. If I perish, I perish, but this has to be stopped.

Yes, we must be wise about how we go about trying to achieve the right. But we must also have faith. Looking at the polls and not to the heavens is a losing strategy for America.

Joseph Farah: Democratic Impeachment 'Scam' Is A Scam

Republican leaders in Congress are trying to tamp down calls within their party for President Obama’s impeachment, claiming that such GOP calls for impeachment are in fact a Democratic “scam.”

But WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah, an advocate of impeachment, wants Republicans to know that the impeachment “scam” is itself a scam and that “Democrats have successfully conned the Republican majority in the House — or at least the leadership — into believing they welcome it.”

“This,” he adds, “is an example of counterintuitive Saul Alinsky-style disinformation at its best.”

The Democrats have successfully conned the Republican majority in the House – or at least the leadership – into believing they welcome it.

This is an example of counterintuitive Saul Alinsky-style disinformation at its best.

Democrats say they’re raising money fighting impeachment.

They say it will help them in the midterm election.

They say talk of impeaching the first black president smacks of racism.

And the Republican leadership, the Republican elite, the Rockefeller country-club Republicans believe them.

That’s the incredible story of what is happening right now in Washington.

Paranoia-Rama: The Impeachment Scam, Obama Recruits Child Soldiers, And OFA Gives Away The Game

RWW’s Paranoia-Rama takes a look at five of the week’s most absurd conspiracy theories from the Right.

This week, we learn that Republican calls for impeachment are actually Democrats’ fault, see a major admission about Obama’s presidency, and explore the connections between environmental protection, the border crisis, Obamaphones, and the president’s private army.

5. Republican Calls For Impeachment Are A Democratic Plot.

We’ve always suspected that people like Bryan Fischer and Matt Barber are liberal plants sent to discredit and destroy the conservative movement from within, but we never knew how far the plot extended.

House Speaker John Boehner busted the scheme wide open this week when he declared that the idea of impeaching President Obama is “all a scam started by the Democrats at the White House” and that “this whole talk about impeachment is coming from the president's own staff and coming from Democrats on Capitol Hill” in an effort to make Republicans look extreme.

Of course, since the very beginning of Obama’s presidency, the GOP’s base has been clamoring to impeach him and remove him from office (although nobody can ever quite agree for what supposed crime).

Those calling for impeachment have even included a number of Republican members of Congress, including Rep. Steve Stockman, who distributed a book in favor of impeachment to every office on Capitol Hill .

And even after Boehner declared the whole thing to be a scam, prominent right-wing talkers including Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin continued to call for impeachment.

So now, we suppose, multiple members of Congress,Fox News personalities, and major Religious Right organizations are all pawns of the Democratic impeachment agenda.

4. Team Obama Admits To Alinskyite Conspiracy.

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah has found more solid proof that President Obama has launched an Alinskyite plot to destroy America: an Organizing For Action birthday card that calls the president the “Organizer in Chief.” Let Farah explain:

“Organizer in Chief”?

Isn’t that one of the derisive titles pinned on Obama by his harshest critics?

Isn’t that what Rush Limbaugh calls him?

Isn’t that what I call him?

Doesn’t the origin of that term come from Obama’s devotion to Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals,” the bible of radical, left-wing community organizing?

In fact, doesn’t the new hit movie “America” by Dinesh D’Souza focus quite a bit of attention on Obama’s Alinskyite community organizing roots and how he has carried this brand of activism and incitement right into the White House?

Yes to all of the above.

So why would Obama’s very own political action committee be embracing the cheeky slur against the “commander in chief”?

It’s an admission. It’s immunization. It’s a contemptuous non-repudiation of the truth. It’s classic Alinskyism on display.

3. EPA Recruting Central American Kids To Love Big Government.

Infowars put two and two together this week, noting that the Environmental Protection Agency has solicited a contractor for “Hispanic Media and Public Outreach Support” and “English to Spanish Translation Services” around the same time that thousands of Central American children are fleeing to the United States…an obvious plot to hook them early on Big Government:

The Environmental Protection Agency is targeting Spanish-only speakers in an upcoming public relations campaign, raising concerns that bureaucrats are already encouraging illegal aliens from Central America – potential future voters – to support big government.

2. Migrant Kids Will Be Used For Medical Experiments….

Rep. Michelle Bachmann brought her trademark analysis to the crisis of children fleeing violence in Central America who have come in large numbers to the southwestern American border. In an appearance on “WallBuilders Live” this week, Bachmann suggested that the Central American children will be put into the foster care system and used for medical experimentation :

1. …Or Lured With Obamaphones To Become Child Soldiers.

What could be worse than using migrant children as unwilling guinea pigs for medical experiments? How about luring them with free phones to become child soldiers in President Obama’s private army that will impose tyranny on America?

Bryan Fischer: 'It Will Be Impeachment Or The End Of America'

The American Family Association’s Bryan Fischer is one conservative who doesn’t agree with John Boehner that impeaching president Obama would be a huge political mistake.

In a blog post today, Fischer writes that “dull of mind” Republicans who have rejected impeachment have “stupidly dropped the one weapon they could use to save America.”

“Now if the Republicans don’t want to save this country, they won’t attempt to impeach,” he writes. “If they do love this country, they will.”

“In the end, it will be impeachment or the ruin of America.”

America has a political problem: a renegade president, unbound by either Constitution or conscience.

America has a political problem. But it also has a political solution: impeachment.

In fact, it’s impeachment or nothing. In the end, Republicans will have absolutely no other alternative if they wish to keep this president from transforming this once great nation into a banana republic.

Lawsuits won’t work, because the president has already shown a cavalier disregard for the rule of law. Defunding won’t work, because the president has already shown a cavalier disregard for budgetary restraints of any kind.

In the end, it will be impeachment or the ruin of America.

Now if the Republicans don’t want to save this country, they won’t attempt to impeach. If they do love this country, they will. In the end, the equation will be as simple as that.

John Boehner, goaded by the Democrats, has unwisely taken impeachment off the table. The reality is that the Democrats are scared to death of impeachment - they know the public is growing increasingly disaffected with Obama - and thus tried to goad Republicans into prematurely surrendering its powers of action. The GOP has been outwitted again.

The outsmarted Republicans, too dull of mind to realize they have been gamed, have stupidly dropped the one weapon they could use to save America.

The Democrats are using guns in this fight, while convincing the Republicans to voluntarily disarm. America now lies defenseless before a marauder.
