President Barack Obama

Tony Perkins: 2015 'Most Dangerous Year' For American Christians

As readers of RWW are well aware, Religious Right leaders have adopted a strategy of portraying just about any policy they disagree with as a dire threat to their religious freedom. And they love to portray President Barack Obama as a sinister enemy of religious liberty. Today’s frantic email from the Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins is a model of both the Obama-is-evil paradigm and frothing-at-the-mouth alarmism about threats to religious freedom in America.

This money beg has it all: President Obama scheming to turn America into a godless, totalitarian wasteland; ridiculous claims that the administration wants to silence the religious expression of its critics; conspiracy theories about Common Core; and flat-out lies that the administration did nothing to secure the release of Meriam Ibrahim from the Sudanese prison where she had been unjustly held.

Coming from Perkins, none of this is terribly surprising. After all, this is the guy who responded to a Colorado baker being required to abide by the state’s anti-discrimination law by wondering, “When are they going to start rolling out the boxcars to start hauling off Christians?”

To avoid any accusations that we’ve taken Perkins out of context, here’s today’s fundraising letter in full:

January 27, 2015

Dear Peter,

As I wrote to you earlier this month, 2015 could very well be the most dangerous year for Christians in American history!

President Obama seems willing to do anything to further his radical agenda—even if it means violating the Constitution to take away your religious freedom.

This President has clearly placed the religious freedom of millions of Christians like you in his sights. Why? You are among the people who are standing in the gap against his radical plans to transform America into a godless, secular country where government reigns supreme.

In these evil days it is more important than ever that you stand your ground for religious freedom!

Can I count on your continued prayers for FRC and our staff in 2015? And can I count on you to make a special financial contribution to the work of FRC?

2015 could very well be a make-or-break year for the future of religious liberty in America. Between now and 2016, President Obama, who knows his time to "leave his mark on history" is growing short, will go all-out. He will use the unlimited resources at his disposal in a drive to attempt to . . .

  • PUNISH Christians for opposing same-sex "marriage";

  • FORCE pro-life people to fund abortions through ObamaCare;

  • INDOCTRINATE your children with the help of Common Core;

  • BAN religious expression and free speech when it conflicts with federal speech regulations; and

  • STOP Christian-owned businesses from doing business with the government because they will not embrace the homosexual agenda.

President Obama and his supporters wrongly believe that our rights as Christian citizens are granted by, and can therefore be repealed, by government. They do not believe, as you and I do, or even as our Founding Fathers did, that . . .

Our rights are inalienable because they come from God.

We will never compromise on that truth. And that's why we can win so many of the showdowns. Truth has power when people of faith stand up for it. With God's help and your faithful support, FRC has been able to . . .

  • FREE persecuted overseas Christians, even when our own government would not—Christians such as Mariam Ibraheem who was imprisoned for her faith;

  • DEFEND the religious liberty of the brave servicemen and women in the U.S. military who are persecuted and punished because they publicly affirm their Christian values;

  • PROTECT employers and employees forced to leave their faith at the door when they enter public service;

  • UPHOLD natural marriage while countering the pro-homosexual agenda which wants to silence Christians and their objections to same-sex "marriage";

  • PRESSURE Congress to officially protect religious freedom and oppose the President's unconstitutional power grab; and

  • EXPOSE the relentless assault on religious liberty that has largely been ignored by the mainstream media.

Thanks to champions of freedom like you . . . No organization has done more to preserve religious freedom in Washington, D.C., than FRC!

But there is still much, much more that must be done to stop the assault on religious freedom that threatens the very future of our nation. I won't mince words: All of us must redouble our efforts to meet the incredible challenges ahead of us.

Your gift today is essential if we are to stop the assaults on religious freedom and reclaim those liberties already lost.

One of my heroes was 18th century conservative, Edmund Burke. In the British Parliament, he fought slavery and actually supported the American Revolution. A man of faith, he is credited with saying, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

Today, I urge you to do something. Something great. Something lasting. Something having immediate yet ongoing impact. You achieve that when you financially stand with FRC. Thank you for refusing to sit by and "do nothing."

Standing (Ephesians 6:13),

Tony Perkins
President

P.S. Please renew your support to help FRC start 2015 strongly. Thank you. God bless you.

Fischer: You Can't Support Gay Rights 'And Call Yourself A Follower Of Christ'

On Friday's radio broadcast, Bryan Fischer took a call from a listener who demanded to know why nobody on the American Family Radio network will declare that President Obama is not a Christian. We have no idea what programs this caller is listening to if he thinks that nobody on AFR is willing to say that Obama is not a Christian, because we hear the various hosts saying this exact thing all the time.

Fischer, of course, was more than happy to acquiesce to the caller's demand and declare that Obama "is not a sincerely devoted follower of Jesus Christ so, in my mind, that means he's not a Christian."

And Fischer knows this, he said, because "nobody can support and promote and celebrate homosexual behavior who is a sincerely devoted follower of Christ. It's impossible, because Christ and his apostles made it very clear that that's a sin. You can't celebrate that, can't promote that and call yourself a follower of Christ."

While Fischer was, for some reason, unwilling to declare that Obama is actually a Muslim, he nonetheless insisted that everyone in Washington, D.C. knows that he is.

"He walks like a Muslim. He talks like a Muslim. He sounds like a Muslim. He acts like a Muslim," Fischer said. "Jesus said 'by your fruits, you shall know them' and at some point people are going to start connecting those dots":

John Hagee: 'Anti-Semitic' Obama Is Sticking His Finger 'In The Eye Of God'

A few months ago, televangelist John Hagee came under fire for calling President Obama "one of the most anti-Semitic presidents in the history of the United States of America" and eventually had to walk back that statement, claiming that he misspoke and merely meant to call Obama "one of the most anti-Israel presidents in U.S. history."

On yesterday's "Hagee Hotline," however, Hagee once again called Obama "anti-Semitic" as he slammed him for not attending the unity march in Paris, saying that in skipping the rally, Obama was telling Jews all over the world that he doesn't care about their safety and security and was sticking his finger "in the eye of God."

"Not going to Paris sends a very clear message to the American Jewish community," Hagee said. "And that message is: we simply don't care. The clear message to Israel: you are alone; if you really get in a jam, don't look toward America for help. The president simply does not care."

"When you attack the Jewish people, you are picking a fight with God Almighty," he continued. "When you pick a fight with the Jewish people, you are sticking your finger in the eye of God. Wake up, America! Let's get involved in this global fight against anti-Semitism.  God Almighty is watching and it means a great deal to our national security because if we walk away from Israel, God will walk away from us."

Hagee went on to urge activists to contact Republicans in Congress and press them to pass a resolution declaring that any attack against Israel will be considered an attack against America in order to make Obama veto it, thereby exposing him "as the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel person that he is":

Bryan Fischer Falsely Claims President Obama Blamed Charlie Hebdo Victims For Their Own Deaths

We don't know what world Bryan Fischer is living in, but he seems to inhabit some parallel universe in which President Obama blamed the victims of the Charlie Hebdo massacre for their own deaths.

On his radio program today, Fischer was discussing allegations from the Florida Family Association that the FBI and the FAA had conspired a few months ago to censor their efforts to fly an banner around MetLife stadium accusing AIG of sponsoring jihad by advertising on Al Jazeera.

Somehow that sent Fischer off on a tangent in which he declared that because a White House spokesman once said that Charlie Hebdo had the "right" to publish a cartoon mocking Islam and Muhammad but that it might not be good "judgment," President Obama was "essentially saying we think capital punishment is the appropriate punishment for blasphemy."

"This is, in essence, President Obama's words: 'They really, in essence, have nobody to blame but themselves,'" Fischer ridiculously declared:

This is especially absurd considering that, just last week, Fischer himself literally suggested that the victims of the Charlie Hebdo attack brought it upon themselves since the massacre was God's punishment for their blasphemy.

As we have noted several times before, Bryan Fischer is a lot of things, but self-aware is not one of them.

Fischer: Obama 'Just Doing A Solid' For His Fellow Communists By Restoring Ties With Cuba

On his radio broadcast on Friday, Bryan Fischer offered a rather straightforward explanation for why President Obama recently took steps to restore ties with Cuba: he is "just doing a solid" for his fellow communists.

Even though Fischer himself called for an end to the embargo after taking his own trip to Cuba earlier this year, he's pretty sure that Obama is only doing so because of his communist sympathies.

"I think, frankly, Barack Obama sees that he's in the same fraternity with Fidel Castro," Fischer said. "They are fellow communists. I think he envies Castro; Castro has an authority that he can only dream of possessing, so I think he is just doing a solid to another member of the communist dictator club, or communist dictator wannabe club."

Fischer then cited a column that appeared a few years ago in Pravda as proof that Obama is a communist, saying that Obama "is following in the footsteps of Marx, it's the Marxist ideology, the Marxist agenda that he is trying to implement, so let's be honest, this guy is a communist. No matter what you want to call him, he's just a communist":

Klingenschmitt: Americans Should Rely On God For Healthcare

Gordon Klingenschmitt is excited about a recent Fox News poll that claims that 58 percent of Americans want to repeal Obamacare, declaring on his "Pray In Jesus Name" program recently that people ought to be relying on God for their healthcare.

Citing a passage from Exodus 15, Klingenschmitt asserted that God will protect people from disease so long as they obey His commands and said that Americans "ought to look to the Lord for our healthcare."

"I personally prefer to look to almighty God as my healer and not to the government as a substitute god or substitute healer," he said, before praying that this nation would "repent of worshiping President Obama as if he is a god":

Dave Daubenmire Is Pretty Sure That Obama Is A Mentally Ill, Demon-Possessed Sociopath

Last week, "Coach" Dave Daubenmire wrote a column asking the reasonable question of whether President Obama is merely mentally ill or rather demon-possessed, concluding that either way he is a "sick, dangerous man."

Now, Daubenmire has turned that column into the basis for his latest "News With Views" video commentary, asserting today that Obama is a sociopath, not unlike serial killer Ted Bundy.

Declaring that Obama had no father, no mother, no home, no school, no country, and no religion, Daubenmire could only conclude that Obama is either seriously mentally ill or demon-possessed.

"People will say, 'You know Coach, it is probably a little bit of both,'" Daubenmire said, "and I'd say it appears to me that he is not a Christian man but he is of his father the Devil and the works of his father he will do":

Dave Daubenmire Is Convinced Obama Is Either 'Mentally Ill Or Demon Possessed'

"Coach" Dave Daubenmire is the sort of Religious Right activist who believes that airplane chemtrails are spreading chemical weapons, openly defends Fred Phelps, entertains conspiracies about 9/11, FEMA camps and martial law, and all-around just doesn't like gays because he is "sick and tired of being sodomized by the left."

With a reasonable record like that, it obviously behooves us all to take seriously Daubenmire's concerns that President Obama's reaction to Republican election victories demonstrates that Obama is an inhuman, demon-possessed sociopath, not unlike Charles Manson or Ted Bundy:

I am not asking this with my tongue in my cheek. I am as serious as a judge. As I sit here and write, I am listening to Mr. Obama’s press conference. Something is very wrong with this guy. He is either mentally ill or demon possessed. Either choice is a possibility. But something is definitely wrong with him. He seems somehow inhuman.

...

I watch him on the TV. I watch him in his press conference. I watch his eyes as he responds to the media’s questions. I believe he is a sick, dangerous man.

I Googled the word ‘sociopath’. “A person with a psychopathic personality whose behavior is antisocial, often criminal, and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.”

Bingo. That’s him. That’s the guy living the life of President of the United States.

I went a bit further and Googled “Characteristics of a Sociopath.” Read it for yourself.   Permit me to summarize. You recognize his mental illness by these traits.

-An oversized ego.

-Lying and showing manipulative behavior.

-Incapable of showing empathy.

-No lack of shame or remorse.

-Staying eerily calm in dangerous situations.

-Behaving irresponsibly or with extreme impulsivity.

-Having few close friends.

-Being charming —but only superficially.

-Living by the pleasure principle.

-Showing disregard for societal norms.

-Having intense eyes.

The man is either sick or non-human. He does not react like a normal human being.

...

Sociopaths are dangerous. Some famous sociopaths in recent history include Charles Manson, Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and John Wayne Gacy.

You laugh at me. You ridicule what I say because I compare him to serial killers. Go ahead. Laugh. He displays all of the characteristics of the above mentioned goons. They were charismatic and likeable.

What kind of man plays golf after a young man’s head is chopped off? What kind of man disappears for hours while some of his “employees” are being killed overseas? What kind of man permits a deadly disease to be freely introduced into a society? What kind of man acts as if he won when the whole world watched him lose? What kind of man believes his own lies?

President Obama is either sick or demon possessed. Red flags are everywhere we look.

Will his own party stop him? Will anyone stop him? President Obama is a sick, dangerous man.

Root: Obama Is Either 'Incompetent Or Mentally Ill' And America Won't Survive Unless He Is Removed From Office

Today we discovered that right-wing pundit, activist, crackpot, and conspiracy theorist Wayne Allyn Root has been producing weekly video commentaries for several years now through which he spreads his reasonable beliefs that President Obama is the "greatest scam artist in history" and declares that "we have a sociopath in the White House."

Last month, Root decided to take on the pressing issue of whether America could have defeated the Nazis during World War II if President Obama had been in charge, concluding, not surprisingly, that we would have lost the war and "we would all be speaking German right about now."

This question is extremely relevant today, Root explained, because "World War III may have already started with Russia or ISIS or China or all of the above plotting to destroy America" and we don't even realize it.  As such, Republicans must immediately remove Obama from office because otherwise this nation simply will not survive the remainder of his term.

"We have decisions to make if we want America to survive," Root warned. "We have to decide if our president is incompetent or mentally ill. Or if he’s delusional and really believes all the answers to the many crises facing America are found on a golf course, or at a Democratic fundraiser. Or whether this is treason. Republican leaders are going to have to do more than talk or whisper in the halls of Congress. Someone is going to have to take action to remove our president of his command because I know we aren't going to make it with Obama in charge for two more years":

Wayne Allyn Root: Remove Obama From Office 'Before He Kills All Of Us'

Last week, right-wing pundit, activist, crackpot, and conspiracy theorist Wayne Allyn Root appeared on the "Point of View" radio program to warn that President Obama must be removed from office immediately "before he kills all of us."

Fuming that Obama has not sealed the southern border or banned travel to the U.S. from West African countries, Root warned that Ebola-ridden terrorists would soon be walking into America and infecting the entire population and Obama is allowing this to happen because he was "sent here to destroy this country."

"One man is taking down the entire America," Root declared. "This was his plan. It's not a mistake. It's not a coincidence. It's not fate. One man was sent here to destroy this country. I don't know who it was. Was it the Soviet Union? Was it communist forces? I don't know who it is. Was it the Bilderbergs that want the world under One World control? I don't know, Kerby. All I know is there's someone in office who is either mentally unstable or is so incompetent that he has got to be removed, or he is purposely taking down this country."

"We've got to remove him from office and fast," Root said, "before he kills all of us":

John Hagee Says Ebola Is God's Judgment On America Because Obama Is Trying To Divide Israel

On yesterday's broadcast of the "Hagee Hotline," televangelist and Christians United For Israel founder John Hagee issued a stark warning to America that the Ebola crisis is God's judgment on this nation for President Obama's failure to adequately support Israel.

"I want every American to hear this very clearly," Hagee said, citing Joel 3 to warn that God will judge any nation that seeks to divide up Israel and declaring that "our president is dead set on dividing Jerusalem. God is watching and he will bring America into judgment."

"There are grounds to say that judgment has already begun," Hagee continued, "because he, the president, has been fighting to divide Jerusalem for years now."

"We are now experiencing the crisis of Ebola," he stated, as well as threats from Islamic radicals and even civil unrest in Ferguson, Missouri all as a result of God's judgment on America due to Obama's policies:

Fischer: 'It Looks Like President Obama Wants Ebola To Come To The United States To Punish America For Being Racist'

On yesterday's radio program, Bryan Fischer bizarrely tried to claim that he is not saying that President Obama wants Ebola to come to America as punishment for the nation's history of racism, but rather is simply saying that it sure looks like President Obama wants Ebola to come to America as punishment for the nation's history of racism.

As Fischer sees it, Obama is not doing nearly enough to protect America from the disease and his lackluster effort is  certainly giving the impression that he is intentionally doing very little because he "wants Ebola to come to the United States to punish America for being racist."

Insisting that he is not saying that this is what Obama is doing, but rather that it looks like this is what Obama is doing, Fischer said that "maybe it's part of his redistribution plan to redistribute disease, not just wealth":

Bryan Fischer Says Any Objective Observer Can See That President Obama Hates America

During his remarks before the United Nations yesterday, President Obama made a reference to the killing of Michael Brown and the resulting tensions in Ferguson, Missouri, noting that while America has its difficulties, we are also "a country that has steadily worked to address our problems, to make our union more perfect, to bridge the divides that existed at the founding of this nation."

To Bryan Fischer, this was just another perfect example of Obama's unrelenting contempt for this country, saying on his radio program today that any objective observer can see that Obama fundamentally hates America.

After playing an audio clip of Obama's remarks, Fischer slammed the president for "dragging America's dirty laundry out in front of the eyes of the entire world to make the world think bad thoughts about America, again acknowledging that America is the source of all the evil in the world ... Every time that he talks to the world, he has to say something that is condemning and critical of the United States of America."

"Anybody listening to one of his international speeches and just was being objective," Fischer said, "they would have to come to the conclusion ... [that] this is a guy who that does not like the United States of America":

For the record, here is the section of President Obama's speech that Fischer believes is proof that he fundamentally hates America:

I realize that America’s critics will be quick to point out that at times we too have failed to live up to our ideals; that America has plenty of problems within its own borders.  This is true.  In a summer marked by instability in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, I know the world also took notice of the small American city of Ferguson, Missouri -- where a young man was killed, and a community was divided.  So, yes, we have our own racial and ethnic tensions.  And like every country, we continually wrestle with how to reconcile the vast changes wrought by globalization and greater diversity with the traditions that we hold dear.

But we welcome the scrutiny of the world -- because what you see in America is a country that has steadily worked to address our problems, to make our union more perfect, to bridge the divides that existed at the founding of this nation.  America is not the same as it was 100 years ago, or 50 years ago, or even a decade ago.  Because we fight for our ideals, and we are willing to criticize ourselves when we fall short.  Because we hold our leaders accountable, and insist on a free press and independent judiciary.  Because we address our differences in the open space of democracy -- with respect for the rule of law; with a place for people of every race and every religion; and with an unyielding belief in the ability of individual men and women to change their communities and their circumstances and their countries for the better.

Two Million Bikers Fall 99.9% Short

The group Two Million Bikers to DC organized its second annual rally on the National Mall yesterday, which, like its predecessor, fell far short of the goal expressed in the group’s name. Organizers said the event was meant to honor people killed in the 9/11 attacks as well as first responders and veterans – presumably that’s how they sold it to corporate sponsor Budweiser – but rally speakers also used the event to rail against President Barack Obama, Congress, and an array of right-wing targets, including gun control, Common Core educational standards, the EPA, regulation of small businesses, the destruction of free enterprise, the Bundy Ranch standoff between the BLM and armed protestors, and Obama’s purportedly fraudulent re-election.

Although organizers got pre-event press promising “thousands” of bikers – not 2 million – descending on the nation’s capital, I didn’t see more than a couple hundred at the event’s peak. Fewer than 50 were left to hear the final speakers. More than one speaker took note of the dispiritingly small crowd.

Those who made it to the Mall did get to hear some personal remembrances of 9-11 from a New York firefighter, a paramedic, and a clergyman who worked at Ground Zero, and a mother whose son joined the military in the wake of 9/11 and was killed overseas.

But uniting them and other speakers was hostility toward the Obama administration and anger at the perception that the president will not clearly identify Islamist extremism as the nation’s enemy. Among the conspiracy theories heard from the podium were the claim from Second Amendment activist and self-described “gun chick” Jan Morgan that the U.N. small arms treaty was about disarming Americans, and the assertion by “Pope” Dan Johnson that “NATO came together in a meeting and this administration signed that NATO pact to tell Christians or to tell any religion what they can and cannot do.” Morgan said she didn’t believe Obama had actually won re-election because she knows about votes counted in Barcelona, Spain, and dead people who voted six times.

Johnson, a Kentucky coordinator for the biker group, contrasted his remarks with Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech. “I have a nightmare,” he yelled. America, he said, is living a nightmare at Ground Zero and a nightmare in the White House. The mother of a fallen serviceman said of President Obama, “We must get rid of him…we must get him out of our White House before he takes this nation down.”

Right-wing pundit Wayne Dupree railed against the media, which he said has given Obama a pass for six years. He complained that conservative activists have been demonized as racists. “This administration is racist,” he said. “Everybody in there is racist.”

“Entertainment” was provided by Madison Rising, a metal band that played songs they describe as patriotic. One in their first set contained the chorus, “We don't want to have to bring out guns but we're ready if it goes there.” That sort of rhetoric mirrors the theme of Larry Klayman’s failed revolutionary rally in D.C. last year, at which Two Million Bikers organizer Belinda Bee spoke. Manny Vega, a Marine vet and self-described “Three Percenter” also spoke at both rallies.

Vega, who as one of the final speakers faced a very sparse crowd, seemed bummed out by the small turnout. “There should be millions of people,” he said, recalling photos of Vietnam War protests filling the entire mall. “What are we doing? A couple patriots out here.” Vega said more truck drivers, waitresses, bikers, and mechanics need to get involved and get elected.

“I’ll be damned if I am 30 years old and I’m cursing the politicians in that Capitol Hill. My son’s going to be 30 years old gearing up, buying weapons, buying their armored vests. Who’d have thought that we’d live in a country where the American citizens are arming up to fight a tyrannical government, ‘cuz that is what it is. Who’d have thought? How many people here have aligned themselves with militias or are already prepping to go to war with the federal government? [Someone shouted ‘don’t raise your hands,’ but some folks did] To go to war? Who should go to war?  No American citizen should go to war. I’ll tell you something, it’s changed. The relationship between the people and those bastards over there that are supposedly supposed to represent us. And they are not doing it.”

The event was also sponsored by Dinesh D’Souza’s “America: Imagine the World Without Her.” The day before the rally, D’Souza tweeted, “On 9/11 anniversary tomorrow I am speaking at huge biker rally on the national mall in Washington DC.” He sold some books -- nothing close to the huge number that his optimistic publisher had brought– and took pictures with fans. Unfortunately, I missed D’Souza’s comments when I took a break, but based on the speaker who followed him, part of D’Souza’s speech was spent slamming President Obama’s recent remarks about ISIS/ISIL.

McFarland: Obama Voters 'Need To Get On Their Knees And Ask God's Forgiveness'

Alex McFarland is a Christian apologist who hosts a radio program on the American Family Association's radio network and serves as director of Center for Christian Worldview and Apologetics at North Greenville University, where he occasionally organizes right-wing conferences featuring speakers like of David Barton, Ben Carson, and Todd Starnes.

In a piece published on Charisma today, McFarland reiterated his belief that Barack Obama's presidency is God's judgment upon this nation, saying that everyone who voted for him must fall on their needs and beg for God's forgiveness:

We have a president today who has not only fundamentally violated his oath of office to uphold the U.S. Constitution but has also actually acted against our nation and our national interests. These aren't opinions; they are facts. And the American people need to be aware of them.

...

These are not simply political issues or political differences. They are fundamental worldview issues. What do we believe about life? What do we believe about liberty? Any president who believes the sanctity of life is nonexistent, the rule of law noncritical and the sovereignty of America nonessential is a president whose administration is without redemption. And the consequences our nation and the world are suffering may very well be evidence of God's judgment against a nation that has rejected Him.

As in 1776, this is not a time for inaction; it's a time for fervent prayer and repentance across our nation.  Those who supported this presidency—either through ignorance or through malicious intent—have supported the taking of human life, the rejection of Israel's right to defend itself, and the promotion of homosexuality to the detriment of the family. And those who supported these things need to get on their knees and ask God's forgiveness for violating His Word and to pray for His mercy on our nation.

And we as a nation need to corporately turn to God, repent and pray for constitutional and moral leadership that honors God's Word. Anything less will mean more Americans will die, more families will be destroyed, and the world will become a more dangerous place for life and liberty. And that is a tragedy none of us should be willing to accept.

Dr. Bryan Fischer Declares That President Obama Is A 'Pathological Narcissist'

On his radio show today, Bryan Fischer stated that he read an article last week about the characteristics of a person who is pathologically narcissistic and couldn't help but conclude that President Obama easily met that description.

Reacting to Obama's interview on "Meet The Press" this weekend in which he admitted that going golfing after delivering a statement on the murder of James Foley might have looked bad, Fischer was reminded of the piece he read last week that described narcissists as people with big egos who are highly sensitive to criticism and who are isolated because they do not believe that anyone else is worthy of sharing their company.

"You start reading this description of a pathological narcissist," Fischer concluded, "and it's just virtually impossible not to wonder how much of that applies to our president, because it sounds so familiar":

Starnes: Obama Won't Confront ISIS Because He Is 'Accommodating The Islamic Faith At The Expense Of All Other Faiths'

Todd Starnes called into Alice Stewart's radio show today to discuss a report from Fox News claiming that President Obama had been briefed on ISIS for over a year but took no action, with Starnes citing this report as evidence that Obama is refusing to confront radical Islamic groups because he favors Islam over Christianity.

Stewart warned that Obama is letting militant groups rise throughout the Middle East as "just the first step in the Islamification of America" and Starnes agreed, saying that "this may very well be the subject of my next book."

"The soft targets in this country are the churches," Starnes said, "and we do know that the terrorists are living among us; it's just a matter of when they are going to strike and who they're going to strike. If nothing else, and this is going to be a very controversial statement, but looking at the evidence we have, this president's administration seems to be accommodating the Islamic faith at the expense of all other faiths and that is a troubling thing. This needs to nipped in the bud. The president needs to put on the big boy pants and he needs to do the job that he was elected to do, which is to protect our country from the bad guys."

"This is the worst example of bullying of Christians there is," Stewart added, "and we have no strategy whatsoever to deal with it":

Fischer: Obama's Tan Suit 'Is Not Presidential Dress'

Bryan Fischer was very disappointed in President Obama choice of attire during yesterday's press conference, saying that his suit demonstrated that Obama simply "does not take the responsibilities of the office of the presidency seriously."

"This is not presidential dress. It's not professional," Fischer declared, asserting that President Ronald Reagan had so much respect for the office that he would not even take off his suit coat while he was in the Oval Office:

The myth about Reagan is, of course, totally false ... as is, apparently, Fischer's claim that wearing a tan suit is somehow unpresidential:

Fischer: Valerie Jarrett Ordered Bin Laden Raid Without Even Consulting President Obama

On his radio broadcast yesterday, Bryan Fischer eagerly helped spread the emerging right-wing narrative that murdered journalist James Foley could have easily been rescued but President Obama was too busy playing golf to approve the rescue mission in time to save him.

But in Fischer's telling, the tale grew even more bizarre when he then asserted that it was really White House advisor Valerie Jarrett who ordered the raid that killed Osama bin Laden and did so without even telling President Obama.

"The best information we have," Fischer stated, "is that Valerie Jarrett pulled the trigger and told the Seal Team Six 'you got to go in and get him.' It was Valerie Jarrett that said 'look, we have an opportunity here, we can't afford to pass up this opportunity. I'm not even going to consult with Barack Obama. I'm not even going to consult with the president on this one, he's out playing golf, I'm just going to give the go signal' ... So Valerie Jarrett was functioning as the de facto Commander in Chief":

While this bizarre theory plays into Fischer's long-held belief that President Obama was so uninvolved in the Bin Laden raid that he had to be Photoshopped into the iconic photo of the situation room, it rather conflicts with the other right-wing conspiracy theory that it was Jarrett who repeatedly thwarted attempts to capture or kill Bin Laden.

That claim is not true either, but Fischer ought to at least try a little harder to get his conspiracy theories straight.

Bryan Fischer Says Black Community Must Be Outraged That Obama 'Just Doesn't Seem To Care' About Them

When President Obama dared to share this thoughts and concerns following events like the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates or the murder of Trayvon Martin, the near universal response from the Right was to blast him for supposedly forcing himself into the situation and exacerbating racial tensions.

But in the case of the situation in Ferguson, Missouri, the response from the Right seems to be to blast Obama for not having spoken out sooner and more forcefully, with Bryan Fischer declaring today that Obama seems to think that his presidency is nothing more than a game of "Sim City" in which he doesn't care about the people who are hurt by his complete and utter disinterest because there is not an ounce of humanity within him.

The black community, Fischer asserted, must be especially disgusted that Obama "just doesn't seem to care" about them.

"Here's the first black president," he said, "the black community had so much hope. A post-racial president, he's going to heal all of these racial divisions. Here is a black president who seems blissfully unconcerned that a largely black community is going up in flames. He has to be dragged to the podium after three days and riots to say a word about the situation. And so it would seem to me that they would have a hard time not thinking, look, this is a president, despite his skin color, despite the fact that he may identify with us ethnically, he just doesn't seem to care":
