Anti-LGBT Activists 'Testing' Target By Sending Men Into Women's Rooms

It turns out that anti-LGBT activists are right that men are taking advantage of a transgender-inclusive policy at Target to go into women’s restrooms — and those men are anti-LGBT activists.

In an interview this morning with “Breitbart News Daily,” the American Family Association's director of governmental affairs, Sandy Rios, said that activists have been “testing” Target’s policy by sending men into women’s rooms at the retail chain.

Rios' group has been leading a boycott of Target after the company said it would allow transgender people to use the restroom that matches their gender identity, which it claims will lead to open season for “sexual predators.”

The program’s host, Stephen Bannon, contended that rather than being inclusive, Target is “trying to exclude people who are decent, hard-working people who don’t want their four-year-old daughter to have to go into a bathroom with a guy with a beard in a dress.”

“I think there’s no question that when you say that there are no barriers in the bathroom,” Rios said, “and that if men or women feel like they are men or women, the opposition of however they are equipped, and you have no restrictions, the net effect will be that people will not be stopped. We’ve already had people testing this, going into Targets and men trying to go into bathrooms. There is absolutely no barrier.”

“And so the chief concern,” she continued, “even more than just, I think, trauma, certainly for little girls of having men dressed like women coming in their bathrooms, the chief concern of the American Family Association is the predators who will take advantage.”

'These Freaks Are Going To Get Us All Killed': Rick Wiles Warns Target Restroom Policy Will Spark Nuclear War

Far-right radio host Rick Wiles devoted the first half of his “Trunews” program on Monday to railing against Target’s policy of allowing transgender people to use the restroom that matches their gender identity, warning that the retail chain’s bathroom policy has helped turn America into Sodom and Gomorrah, which God will now destroy through a nuclear war with Russia.

After reading from a statement about the bathroom policy from Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder, Wiles bellowed, “How about if I just urinate on your floor? How about that, Molly? Because you’re defecating on this nation.”

He said that the restroom policy and Target’s decision last year to stop putting gender-specific signage on kids’ toys are both part of a “revolution” being carried out by modern-day Nazis.

“Our minds are being captured, Doc, by perverts,” he told his co-host Doc Burkhart. “This is what happened in Germany. The Nazis were perverts. They took over Germany. It was a radical, socialist, homosexual movement called the Nazi Socialist Party. They’re now in control of America, and sane people better rise up and oppose it quickly. This is just the beginning.”

“It’s either shut down Target or their type is going to shut down this nation, because there’s no end to their insanity and their immorality and their wickedness,” Wiles declared later in the program.

Reading from a Business Insider article about an increase in Russian submarine activity, Wiles connected the dots.

“Doc, God is going to use the Russians to bring down Sodom and Gomorrah if there’s no repentance in this land,” he said. “Listen, these freaks are going to get us all killed. They’re going to get us all killed.”

“When there is a nuclear war, we all die,” he explained. “Now, those of us who are saved are going to go home to be with the Lord. Those who are unsaved are going to burn in hell. But we’re all going to die in a nuclear war thanks to the sodomites that are in control of this nation right now.”

“Show me one country in history that has gone down this road and survived,” he said. “There’s not one example. There’s not one example in thousands of years of human history of a nation turning from God and becoming a sodomite nation and then going on to be great. Not one nation.”

Wiles has told Trunews listeners in the past that thanks to gay rights activism, the U.S. could get destroyed by a nuclear strike from North Korea.

NC Lt. Gov. Complains Of 'Amazing Smear Campaign...Based On A Bunch Of Lies'

North Carolina’s Republican lieutenant governor, Dan Forest, hit back at critics of his state’s new radical anti-LGBT law in a radio interview yesterday, saying that the state has been hit by “a pretty amazing smear campaign” when all legislators were trying to do was “protect women and children from predators and sexual offenders and so forth going into bathrooms freely.”

Forest responded earlier this month to PayPal’s decision to cancel a planned expansion in North Carolina in response to the law, which among other things blocks transgender people from using the public restroom of their identifying gender, by saying that if the law protects “the life of just one child or one woman from being molested or assaulted, then it was worth it.”

He continued that theme in an interview yesterday with Relevant Radio host Drew Mariani, saying that North Carolina has been the victim of “a pretty amazing smear campaign” that’s “all based on a bunch of lies.”

The whole thing, he said, was the fault of LGBT rights activists and the Charlotte City Council, whose nondiscrimination ordinance was overturned by the state law.

“They knew that the General Assembly in North Carolina was going to have to do something about it,” he said, “they were going to have to fight it constitutionally, but more importantly they were going to have to protect women and children from predators and sexual offenders and so forth going into bathrooms freely.”

Of course, there have been zero cases of child predators using LGBT nondiscrimination laws to assault children.

North Carolina Activist Slams 'Social Terrorists' Opposing Anti-LGBT Law

Mark Creech, who as the head of the Christian Action League of North Carolina has been a leading proponent of the state’s new law mandating discrimination against transgender people , wrote on his group’s website this weekend that LGBT rights advocates opposing the law are “social terrorists” using “totalitarian tactics.”

North Carolina, Creech wrote, “has had its name maligned about as bad as calling a virgin a whore” when it was simply trying to “rise up and take the whip from the task masters [sic] hand.”

To smear someone means to sully, vilify, or soil a good reputation. It carries with it the idea of smudging or blurring the truth.

Since the North Carolina General Assembly passed HB 2, my beloved state has had its name maligned about as bad as calling a virgin a whore. The state has certainly been as innocent.

But who is interested in the truth when a leftist media, celebrities, sports organizations, and various corporate entities are crying out, “bigot,” “hater,” “homophobe,” etc. When you sling mud it sticks. It doesn’t have to be true. People move away as fast as a Jew did in Bible times from possible contact with a leper whenever hearing, “unclean, unclean.”

Thank you. Well said, Governor. Still, figuratively speaking, don’t expect these social terrorists like the HRC to let-up on the pressure. There is no meaningful dialogue with them, only total domination. They are an unbending, immovable, aggressive, insistent force that would have every norm and moral turned on its head – every objection to their way vilified, penalized, fined, and criminalized by law.

Even though some big businesses have come out against the Tar Heel state, threatening to leave or not to bring their companies as promised because of HB 2, in a way they’re victims of HRC’s totalitarian tactics too.

Nevertheless, there is only so long one can get away with coercing people into submission. Eventually they will rise up and take the whip from the task masters hand. For the present, that appears to be happening in states like Mississippi and my own, North Carolina.

So call us names. Smear our state’s character. Listen to the parrots of political correctness. Heed the heavy hand of the HRC, if you will. Eventually, the truth will win out and the fog of a million lies will ebb away in the brightness of God’s light.

Peroutka Aide Charged In Connection With Deceptive Anti-LGBT Robocall

Back in 2014, we watched with amazement as Michael Peroutka, the head of the Christian Reconstructionist group Institute on the Constitution and a former board member of the southern secessionist League of the South, won a local election to be a county councilman in his home county in Maryland.

After Peroutka’s victory, the news broke that an unidentified group that called itself “Marylanders for Transgenders” had sent out robocalls in the final days of the campaign asking voters to call Peroutka’s openly gay Democratic opponent, Patrick Armstrong, to “thank him for his bravery in coming out of the closet” and for supporting a bill that means “transgenders can now openly and freely go into any bathroom of their choice based on their confused gender identity.” The call provided the home phone number of Armstrong’s mother.

At the time, Peroutka denied that his campaign was behind the calls, but today his campaign manager, Dennis Fusaro, was charged with violating election laws by secretly placing the calls. The Baltimore Sun reports:

Maryland's state prosecutor on Thursday charged two Republican strategists with distributing an illegal robocall considered by many an attempt to smear an openly gay local candidate in 2014.

Prosecutor Emmet Davitt announced charges against Dennis Fusaro, a national Republican figure best known for leaking internal emails and phone calls from Ron Paul's 2012 presidential campaign, and Stephen Waters, a Republican political consultant based in Virginia.

Prosecutors said the call lacked the appropriate identification and came from what they described as "an untraceable" prepaid cell phone purchased with cash by Waters and Fusaro at Walmart in Fredericksburg, Va.

Fusaro was the campaign manager of Armstrong's opponent, Republican Councilman Michael Anthony Peroutka, a former member of the neo-Confederate group League of the South.

Christopher Kachouroff, attorney for Fusaro and Waters, would not say whether his clients were responsible for the call, but dubbed its message "political satire."

Peroutka continues to say that he had “no prior knowledge” of the robocall.

Listen to the call:

Cruz Endorser John Zmirak: LGBT People 'Fundamentally Dissatisfied With The Way God Made Them'

Conservative columnist John Zmirak, whose endorsement Ted Cruz proudly posted on his presidential campaign website last month, reacted last week to a controversial anti-trans law in North Carolina by writing a column titled “There’s a Bearded Trannie in the Stall Next to Your Daughter and You’d Better Learn to Like It.”

Zmirak’s perceptive thoughts on this issue naturally earned him invitations from a few conservative radio hosts to discuss it further. In an interview yesterday with Steve Deace, an influential Iowa radio host and fellow Cruz supporter, Zmirak insisted that laws targeting transgender people won’t affect transgender people as long as they “make some attempt to alter their appearance.” He also claimed that the “gay lobby” will never be satisfied because they’re “fundamentally dissatisfied with the way God made them.”

“It boils down to this,” Zmirak said. “The gay lobby will never be satisfied. They cannot be satisfied because they’re fundamentally dissatisfied with the way God made them. They are in rebellion and they’re in permanent rebellion. It is literally impossible to satisfy the gay lobby because even if you give them everything they want, they will be just as miserable and just as angry, because it’s not about politics, it’s about them struggling and suffering because their lifestyles are out of accord with natural law.”

He went on to claim that a law like North Carolina’s wouldn’t actually affect transgender people. “Of the people who identify as transgender,” he said, “most of them make some attempt to alter their appearance so that really nobody would know their sex going into the bathroom. They’re wearing a wig, you know, maybe that’s just an ugly woman. So these bills, these laws that make bathrooms gender neutral are designed specifically for men who dress as men to go into the women’s room, women who dress as women to go into the men’s room. What is that about? It’s about undermining the idea of heteronormativity.”

LGBT people, he said, “can’t stand the fact that they’re 2 percent of the population, they want to convince us that they’re actually 30 or 40 percent, that everyone’s secretly a little gay, and that is to assuage their sense of guilt, their sense that they are violating natural law. Natural law is the law that God wrote on our hearts, which even pagans, if they use their reason, can see.”

In a separate interview with Pennsylvania talk radio host Bobby Gunther Walsh on Monday, Zmirak said that the LGBT movement is pushing its messages in schools because “they want to make sure that as many people end up gay as possible,” which he said showed the movement’s “incredible intolerance.”

Right-Wing Author: 'Insane' Gay Rights And Liberalism Driving People To Suicide And Addiction

David Kupelian, the managing editor of WorldNetDaily, joined Gun Owners of America’s Larry Pratt on “ Gun Owners News Hour” this weekend to discuss his recent book, “The Snapping of the American Mind,” in which he argues that liberal ideologies are driving Americans to suicide and addiction.

Kupelian’s book, which has won plaudits from conservative activists including Phyllis Schlafly, Matt Barber, David Barton, Dinesh D’Souza and former Rep. Michele Bachmann, argues that the “progressive Left” is “whether intentionally or not, promoting widespread dependency, debauchery, family breakdown, crime, corruption, addiction, despair, and suicide.”

Kupelian told Pratt that examples of “completely insane” progressive advances include “the sexual revolution and the LGBT movement,” including the choice of 50 genders on Facebook, “forcing teenage girls to have to shower with boys,” and marriage equality.

“These are things that most people, and a few years ago everybody, would have said is not only wrong but is completely insane, okay?” he said. “A few years ago, we would have said two men getting married is completely insane. Everybody in the world of all religions, left, right, center, everybody would have said you’re completely insane.”

“The case that I’m making in ‘The Snapping of the American Mind,’” he explained, “is that you know how we hear about all the suicides going on now, we hear about the huge upsurge among white, middle-class people living in the suburbs, we hear about the huge amount, one in four middle-aged women are taking antidepressants, we have all this individual pathology, all this wretchedness, all the suffering of the addiction and the 110 million people with sexually transmitted diseases. 110 million! All of these things, I’m saying that the left is the primary cause of all of this depression, anxiety, the huge amount of mental illness, of addiction, of suicide, all of these things that we hear about in a way that we sometimes hear about them in the news, but disconnect them from the source.

Other topics covered in Kupelian’s book, according to WND, include:

  • How the Left has succeeded in redefining not just “marriage,” but the rest of Americans’ core values, from “equality” to “justice” to “freedom”;
  • Why America, unquestionably the least racist nation on earth, is now being portrayed as a deeply racist pariah state;
  • Why the United States is intentionally being flooded with millions of needy, dependent, Third World immigrants;
  • How a group that amputates healthy body parts and has a 41 percent attempted suicide rate is officially declared “normal,” yet new “research” suggests conservatives have malformed brains;
  • Which of the two major US political parties has a far higher incidence of mental illness;
  • Why Americans today are more stressed-out, confused, conflicted, and addicted than at any time in the nation’s history—and where this ominous trend is leading.

The Religious Right 'Liberty' Icons Behind North Carolina's Appalling Anti-LGBT Law

Earlier this week, North Carolina’s legislature passed a shockingly restrictive bill barring transgender people from using restrooms of their identifying gender and preventing localities from instituting protections for transgender people. (While they were at it, they also barred cities from setting their minimum wage higher than the state’s.) The bill was the result of a hurried special session convened in response to the passage of an LGBT nondiscrimination bill in Charlotte.

Ironically, the most public spokespeople against the Charlotte measure and in favor of calling a special legislative session to undo it were David and Jason Benham, two brothers who have built a high profile on the Religious Right by claiming that they are victims of persecution at the hands of LGBT-rights activists.

Back in 2014, the Benham twins were set to star in a house-flipping program on HGTV when we reported on their long history of virulent anti-gay and anti-Muslim activism, which was about to get a boost with a national TV platform. Faced with an outcry, HGTV cancelled the show, but the Benhams got their national platform anyway. They quickly became the latest — and the most photogenic — examples of conservative Christians who claimed to be martyrs at the hands of LGBT activists. They took their show on the road, becoming staples at conservative events and Republican campaign rallies.

Most recently, the Benhams endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz’s presidential candidacy and joined his campaign's “religious liberty advisory council” that recommended that a President Cruz roll back federal employment protections for LGBT people.

While the Benhams claim in their frequent presentations that they lost their TV show because of their personal views against marriage equality, they in fact had a long history of very public activism against what David once called “homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation.” In 2012, David led a prayer rally outside the Democratic National Convention which he said was necessary to stop “demonic ideologies” like gay rights from taking “our universities and our public school systems.” In 2004, the brothers tried to get the city of Charlotte to deny a permit to an LGBT pride parade, with David saying, “This is filth, this is vile and should not be allowed in our city.” Jason urged the city council to “deny [LGBT activists] every permit that they ask for.”

Then, last year, when Charlotte began to consider a LGBT nondiscrimination ordinance, the Benhams used their new right-wing celebrity to lead the campaign to stop it. Using the anti-LGBT’s movement’s new messaging on such bills, David called it a “transgender bathroom ordinance” and warned that it would put religious liberties “under attack."

David called the proposed ordinance “depraved” and the latest example of “the radical gay agenda’s plan to change America.”

The 2015 ordinance was defeated, but the city council considered it again this year, and this time it passed.

The Benham brothers, after speaking out against the ordinance at a hearing, responded to its passage with a Facebook video in which Jason said that he and his brother could now “declare ourselves women” and play in the WNBA. David surmised that the “ungodly ordinance” was the “direct result of God’s judgment” for legal abortion and claimed that it would allow “young women and girls” to be “victimized.”

David said that he prayed the ordinance would be “overturned at the legislative level.”

We lost the battle at the Charlotte City Council meeting over the transgender bathroom bill.....but, God is still on the throne. Boom.

Posted by Benham Brothers on Monday, February 22, 2016

Shortly afterward, the Benhams headlined a protest calling for a special legislative session to overturn it and promoted a petition campaign calling on the legislature and Gov. Pat McCrory to overturn the Charlotte law.

Speaking at the Awakening summit in Florida earlier this month, the Benhams cited the Charlotte ordinance as an example of “ungodly laws” that must be resisted with “biblical obedience” — their new phrase for civil disobedience.

This week, the Benhams got what they wanted, thanking Gov. Pat McCrory for signing the bill overturning the Charlotte ordinance and severely restricting the freedom of transgender people.

What happened in North Carolina this week underscores the reality behind the Religious Right’s claims that they are being persecuted in America. In the view of people like the Benhams, “religious liberty” doesn’t just mean the right to live freely as you choose; it also means the ability to restrict the freedoms of others as they see fit.

Franklin Graham: Christians Must Take Over Every Mayorship In The Country To Stop 'Evil' LGBT Rights

Franklin Graham is visiting every state in the country this year as part of his “Decision America” tour, in which he is offering technically nonpartisan encouragement to his followers to “live out their faith” in the upcoming elections.

At a stop in Atlanta this week, Graham spoke about the need for conservative Christians to not only vote, but to run for office, saying that if every city in America had a Christian mayor, we wouldn’t have “evil” and “wicked” policies like LGBT nondiscrimination measures. Better Georgia first brought the remarks to our attention.

“Can you imagine the impact if every community and every city across this great land of ours was run by Christian men and women in that office as mayor,” he asked, “the difference that that would make in our cities, if we had Christian mayors?”

Graham brought up Charlotte, North Carolina, where he claimed that “90 percent of Christians” failed to vote, allowing a candidate who is supportive of LGBT rights to be elected. Charlotte’s city council rejected an LGBT nondiscrimination measure last year after opponents fixated on transgender people using the bathroom of their choice, a new flashpoint of anti-LGBT activists.

“And we got a woman and her goal is the gay-lesbian agenda,” Graham said, “trying to get transgenders into the bathrooms so that if a person wakes up in the morning and they feel like they’re a woman that’s a man and he wants to go into a ladies’ restroom then they can do that. And that’s her goal. And I can tell you right now that that’s wicked and that’s evil. Men belong in men’s bathrooms and women belong in women’s bathrooms and we don’t need men and predators going into women’s bathrooms, I’m just telling you.”

“Now, that’s what happens when Christians don’t vote,” he declared. “That’s what we get, this is the kind of garbage we get.”

Of course, not all Christians — and not all Christian mayors — agree with Graham on LGBT rights.

Ben Carson: 'Abnormal' LGBT People Shouldn't Get 'Extra Rights'

In a rambling interview with a Catholic news network over the weekend, Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson derided marriage equality and protections for transgender people as “extra rights” for “a few people who perhaps are abnormal,” warning that if the next president’s Supreme Court nominees protect LGBT rights, you can “say goodbye to America.”

Carson made the comments in an interview with the Witherspoon Institute’s Matthew Franck as part of a series of conversations with presidential candidates on the Catholic network EWTN.

When Franck asked Carson about Department of Education efforts to protect the rights of transgender students in schools, Carson launched into a discussion of how “political correctness” and “extra rights” are ruining America.

“You see how silly this is,” he said. “I mean, it’s beyond ridiculous that you take the most abnormal situation and then you make everyone else conform to it. That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. That’s one of the very reasons that I have been an outspoken opponent of things like gay marriage. I don’t have any problem with gay people doing anything they want to do. You know, it’s a free country, there’s freedom of association. However, when you now impose your value system on everybody else and change fundamental definitions and principles of society, I have a big problem with that. Everybody is equal, everybody has equal rights, but nobody gets extra rights. And when we start trying to impose the extra rights based on a few people who perhaps are abnormal, where does that lead?”

After warning that gay marriage could lead to legalized polygamy and railing against “garbage” arguments for transgender rights, Carson said, “We are absolutely destroying ourselves because we are paying attention to political correctness.”

“Our time is running out,” he added. “If we don’t stand up for principles now and we get a progressive and they get two or three Supreme Court picks, say goodbye to America.”

Ted Cruz On Trans Rights: 'I Don't Want My Daughters Taking Showers With Little Boys'

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, responded last month to the Obama administration’s efforts to enforce transgender rights in public schools by declaring that he doesn’t want his young daughters “taking showers with little boys.”

Asked by Robert George in a November 25 interview on the EWTN network about a Department of Education ruling that an Illinois school district should have provided a transgender girl access to the girls’ locker room at her school, Cruz said it was a “ridiculous” decision made by “zealots.”

“Well, look,” he said. “This is ridiculous. It shows just how radical and extreme the current administration is. You know, I’m the father of two little girls. Caroline and Catherine are seven and five. I don’t want my daughters taking showers with little boys, I don’t want them when they’re in junior high or high school. And it’s absurd, no parents do. And these are zealots.”

He then pivoted to his pledge to do away with the Common Core standards initiative and abolish the Department of Education entirely.

Phyllis Schlafly: Transgender Rights Advocates 'Trying To Turn Our Boys Into Peeping Toms'

Phyllis Schlafly reacted yesterday to a Department of Education finding in favor of a transgender girl in Illinois by saying that advocates for transgender rights are “trying to turn our boys into peeping Toms.”

“They’re trying to turn our boys into peeping Toms,” Schlafly declared in an interview on Newsmax TV. “I can’t imagine why else they would want to go into their girls’ restrooms.”

She added this cryptic bit of analysis: “The word used is ‘sex’ and ‘sex’ is a word that has a lot of meanings, and they want to use it for this.”

Klingenschmitt Prays That God Will 'Save The Children From The Perverts In Houston'

Gordon “Dr. Chaps” Klingenschmitt, a Religious Right activist and Republican member of the Colorado House of Representatives, predicted on his “Pray In Jesus Name” program on Saturday that a vote to repeal Houston’s nondiscrimination ordinance next week will succeed because the people who say they are “undecided” in polls are actually “against sharing public bathrooms with crossdressing men but they’re afraid to tell the pollsters.”

Latching on to the Right’s favorite transphobic angle in fighting antidiscrimination measures, Klingenschmitt claimed that the ordinance allows transgender women to “expose themselves to little girls” in restrooms and concluded that transgender people are possessed by “a demonic spirit.”

“God is against you, Mayor Annise Parker,” he declared after predicting that “the lesbian mayor will eventually have egg on her face.”

“Father, save the children from the perverts in Houston,” he prayed.

EW Jackson: Obama Turning Military Into A 'Sexual Experiment' Because He Doesn’t Believe In America

E.W. Jackson, the Virginia pastor and GOP politician, joined Frank Gaffney on his “Secure Freedom Radio” program earlier this month, where the two discussed the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and efforts to allow transgender people to serve openly in the military.

“The lesbian, transgender, bisexual military is what the president is creating for us, and it’s sad,” Jackson declared, alleging that President Obama “is much more interested in turning the military into some sort of sexual experiment than he is in making it the finest fighting force in the world.”

Gaffney asked Jackson, who now works as a Fox News contributor and Family Research Council senior fellow, if allowing LGBT people to serve openly is not just a “wrecking operation against the military” but also an effort to “do over the United States itself as a society.”

Jackson responded that Obama wants to allow LGBT people to serve in the military because he doesn’t believe in America or want the military to be effective: “I don’t think he wants the military to be militarily effective, because I don’t think he believes in it, I don’t think he believes in its mission, because, frankly, and I know this sounds extreme but it’s what I believe in my heart, I don’t think he fundamentally believes in the nature of this country or its mission.”

Scott Walker 'Wouldn't Change' Military's Transgender Ban

In an interview with Newsmax TV that was posted online yesterday, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said that he “wouldn’t change” the military’s prohibition on transgender people serving openly, as the Pentagon is preparing to do.

J.D. Hayworth, the former Republican congressman from Arizona who is now a Newsmax host, asked Walker about Jeb Bush’s comment that he would be “fine” with transgender people serving openly in the military as long as it wouldn’t negatively affect morale. “As commander in chief, what would be your position on transgender and gays and lesbians serving in our armed forces?” he asked.

“I wouldn’t change the policy,” he said. “And I think at a time when we just came off the week when four Marines and a petty officer in the Navy were ambushed and killed at a recruiting center, where we see the current administration under the Obama-Clinton doctrine not lifting the political restrictions on our men and women in uniform in Iraq, when we see the challenges we face around the world, I think those of us who are talking about running for president need to focus on what we need to do to rebuild the military.”

“Our goal is to be peace, but there will be times when America must fight, and I think it needs to be clear that Americans fight to win, and our men and women in the military need to have the resources to do that,” he said, “so as president I’m going to spend my time focused on those issues, not those others.”

Hayworth asked the same question of Mike Huckabee last week, to which the former Arkansas governor replied that lifting the military’s ban on transgender people would undermine morale.

Matt Barber: Nondiscrimination Laws Let 'Perverts' In 'Miniskirts' Put 'Women And Young Girls At Risk'

Liberty Counsel activists Mat Staver and Matt Barber are jubilant over a court ruling that a Houston nondiscrimination ordinance must be put up for a popular vote, even after the city found that opponents had not gathered enough valid signatures to put it on the ballot.

Barber declared on a recent episode of LC’s “Faith and Freedom” program that not only was the Texas Supreme Court decision a “victory for the rule of law,” but it was a victory for women and children who will no longer be in danger of being attacked by “perverts” in “miniskirts.”

“This is a victory for those of us who are standing firm for the rights of children and women not to have their privacy violated by men in miniskirts who are pretending to be women,” he said. “Who knows what sort of perverts and potential predators we’re talking about here, placing women and young girls at risk, primarily.”

Staver added that Houston’s Mayor Annise Parker, “this pro-open-lesbian” pursued the nondiscrimination policy because, like President Obama, she has no “moral compass.”

“You get these kinds of people in power,” he said, “and it’s dangerous because they don’t have any parameters of moral compass that will direct them to do what’s right, even though it goes against heir personal opinion. They just want to achieve an objective.”

Mike Huckabee: Transgender Service Members Will Hurt Morale, Turn Military Into 'Social Club'

In clip of an interview with Newsmax TV that was posted online today, Mike Huckabee criticized the Pentagon’s move to end the ban on open military service by transgender people, saying that openly transgender service members would “affect morale” because “men are men and women are women.”

“The military is not a social organization,” he said. “The military is not a place where we try out experiments. The military is designed to kill people and break things. The purpose of the military is to train a fighting force to defend this country and to fight our battles. It’s not to fight the battles of sexual identity or orientation. It’s to fight the battles that threaten American sovereignty and American freedom.”

He then compared providing medical care to transgender people to elective breast enhancement surgery: “We don’t do breast enhancements, which would be a part of that. If we’re going to do it for somebody who’s transgender, would we not do it for a female who said, ‘I’d feel better about myself if I was a 38D rather than a 34A?'”

The military, Huckabee concluded, is “not designed to be a social club or some type of organization where we help people feel better about themselves," adding, "if there's something that makes it difficult for you to defend this country, maybe the military is not the right place for you."

Huckabee has pledged to restore the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy for gay and lesbian service members if he is elected president.

Steve King Blames Drugs For Charleston Shooting, Says Undocumented Immigrants Have Killed More People Than 9/11

Steve Malzberg invited Rep. Steve King onto his Newsmax program on Friday to discuss issues ranging from the church shooting in Charleston, which King blamed on prescription medication, to undocumented immigrants, whom he said have killed “multiples of the victims of the September 11 attacks,” to Caitlyn Jenner, whom he said illustrates “how far this society has gone from rational thought.”

The Iowa Republican also had some thoughts on Hillary Clinton’s slam of Donald Trump’s racist rhetoric in his presidential announcement. King said that Clinton unfairly made the “presumption that perhaps there will be some white people that might discriminate against some not-so-white people on the basis of being inspired by Trump’s speech.”

He also attempted to criticize the former secretary of state for inconsistency: “It’s Hillary that says ‘I’m not going to channel my husband,’ but she would channel Donald Trumps announcement speech instead to try to gain a political advantage out of that.”

Huckabee Stands By 'Commonsense' Transgender Locker Room Joke

Former Arkansas governor and GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee stood by a joke he made at the expense of transgender people, telling Iowa talk radio host Steve Deace on Friday that his off-color joke was a “commonsense answer to the insanity that’s going on out there.”

In a speech to the National Religious Broadcasters convention in February, Huckabee joked that when he was in high school he would have liked to have pretended to be transgender in order to shower with the girls in gym class. The comment gained national attention after the conservative website WorldNetDaily posted it on YouTube last month, shortly before Caitlyn Jenner’s introduction in Vanity Fair put transgender rights in the media spotlight.

When Deace asked Huckabee if the criticism of his locker room joke was an example of the media’s “misplaced priorities,” Huckabee responded, “It’s absolutely an example.”

“And by the way, Steve, I take nothing back from that speech,” he added. “I’m kind of glad it’s posted because people, if they watch the whole clip, what they’re going to see is that I’m giving a commonsense answer to the insanity that’s going on out there. Because I hear people, everybody wants to be politically correct, everybody wants to be loved by the media and loved by the left and loved by the elitists. But, you know, I know I’m not going to be, so let’s just get it over with. I’d rather be a commonsense candidate for people who did take their brains to work today.”

Anti-LGBT Groups: Girls Scouts Running A 'Dangerous' 'Social Engineering Experiment On Children'

The Religious Right has long been suspicious of the Girl Scouts, which activists have claimed turns girls into promiscuous, abortion-having lesbian socialists. Anti-Girl-Scout sentiment is on the rise yet again on the Right since the organization has announced that it will allow transgender girls to join the Scouts on “a case-by-case basis.” Concerned Women for America’s Penny Nance has been making the rounds on conservative media, calling the policy a “slap in the face to Christian parents,” and a few petitions are circulating urging people to make their displeasure known to the organization.

CitizenGo, the international petition platform that the National Organization for Marriage’s Brian Brown sits on the board of, is warning that the Girl Scouts are no longer merely “teaching girls that abortion and lesbianism are normal and admirable,” but are now running “a social engineering experiment on children”:

Although their cookies may be tasty, the Girl Scouts of America (GSA) has long promoted radical agendas, including teaching girls that abortion and lesbianism are normal and admirable. But now, they've gone even further to promote a sexual ideology to children.

In accordance with the new policy, the GSA website now reads, "If the child is recognized by the family and school/community as a girl and lives culturally as a girl, then Girl Scouts is an organization that can serve her in a setting that is both emotionally and physically safe."

In plain English, this means that families will be forced play gender make-believe and accept biological boys as girls. Boys in skirts and make-up, sharing tents with young vulnerable girls will now become an accepted part of the Girls Scouts program. This obviously puts children at risk and treats a recognized mental health problem as normative.

It's a tragedy that GSA leadership is willing to run a social engineering experiment on children, both the confused boys and the innocent girls wondering why a boy in a dress is in the bathroom with them.

If you believe that the GSA has gone too far with normalizing a radical sexual ideology, please sign our petition to the Girl Scouts of America, telling them that the Girl Scouts program is for girls, period!

Meanwhile, the American Family Association and its affiliate One Million Moms, seem to have picked up some of the same talking points, warning that the Girl Scouts’ “dangerous policy” will “put young innocent girls at risk” by forcing them to associate with “[b]oys in skirts, boys in make-up and boys in tents.”

Sign our petition to tell the Girl Scouts of America to stop this nonsense by rescinding this dangerous policy now!

The group says on its website, "If the child is recognized by the family and school/community as a girl and lives culturally as a girl, then Girl Scouts is an organization that can serve her in a setting that is both emotionally and physically safe."
This means girls in the organization will be forced to recognize and accept transgenderism as a normal lifestyle. Boys in skirts, boys in make-up and boys in tents will become a part of the program. This change will put young innocent girls at risk.

Adults are willing to experiment on our kids - both the boys who are confused and the girls who will wonder why a boy in a dress is in the bathroom with them.

The Girl Scouts of America has lost its moral compass and needs your encouragement to rescind this new policy. Since 2003, bad policies like this have resulted in GSA's enrollment dropping by over one million girls, almost 27% of its membership.
