Ben Carson: Obama's Charleston Remarks Part Of Effort To 'Destroy' Society With 'Race Wars'

Ben Carson reacted last month to President Obama’s remarks on the shooting at a black church in Charleston by accusing the president of using his bully pulpit to “create wars,” including “race wars,” “a war on women,” “religious wars” and “age wars,” which threaten to “destroy” American society.

Shane Vander Hart, who hosts a podcast for the Iowa conservative blog Caffeinated Thoughts, lamented to Carson that President Obama had “injected gun control” and “race relations” into the discussion of a mass shooting by a white supremacist, and asked the Republican presidential candidate if he would have “a similar approach” to “local events or state events.”

“No, I think I would use the bully pulpit to help people realize what we have in common rather than what separates us,” Carson responded. “What it’s been used for for the last several years is to create wars: a war on women, race wars, any kind of anything involving people of two different races, income wars, always class warfare, religious wars now, age wars. You know, these are exactly the kinds of things you want to do when you want to destroy a society, not when you want to bring people together.”

Barton: God Opposes Retirement Because It 'Is A Pagan Concept'

Appearing on Kenneth Copeland's "Believer's Voice of Victory" television program today, David Barton declared that  God opposes retirement because it is "a pagan concept."

"Retirement is not a biblical concept," Barton said, putting forth a theory that he appears to have stolen from Rabbi Daniel Lapin. "That is a pagan concept that comes from the Babylonian system. If you want to live in Egypt, you want to live in Babylon, great, retire. God’s people, that is not a model."

"One of the great indications that something is not part of what God wants is the fruit that accompanies it," he continued. "And one of the things that I’ve always believed is Deuteronomy 6:24, He says, 'Everything I tell you is for your benefit, that you can enjoy a long life, that you can prosper,' and so if we see something in the way of statistics or science that shows that we don’t have a long life, that will diminish our life, then we know that’s not part of what God wanted us to do."

Citing statistics that supposedly show that, on average, people die within three years of retiring, Barton claimed that is because "your body says, 'Oh, you want to do nothing? Great. Let’s just shut down.'"

"God did not design us for retirement," Barton said. "He did not design us to quit being productive, and when you start doing things that go contrary to what He designed us for, it always gets bad results. And so the statistics are there that God did not design us for retirement."

Ted Cruz & Glenn Beck Agree: America Facing Imminent Destruction

While much of Ted Cruz’s interview with Glenn Beck last week focused on the supposed dangers of marriage equality, the two did find time to condemn the “liberal media” and warn of America’s looming downfall.

Cruz claimed that while “left-wing reporters” may seem nice, “they hate us.” He told a story about how he warned a staffer that such reporters “want to destroy you” and “take your life and fillet you on the front pages,” insisting that members of “the mainstream media” are “protecting Barack Obama and they are ready for Hillary.”

Things only went downhill from there:

Beck: We are facing, I think, destruction—
Cruz: Yes.
Beck: As a nation, I think we’re off the Constitution. Would you agree with that?
Cruz: Yes, absolutely.
Beck: Especially with the rulings last week, we are just making it up now as we go.
Cruz: Yes, yes.
Beck: So if we don’t correct it now, we’re done.
Cruz: It is now or never.

Ted Cruz: Gay 'Propaganda Effort' To Blame For Marriage Equality Victory

In an interview with Glenn Beck last week, Sen. Ted Cruz said that the two recent Supreme Court rulings on the Affordable Care Act and marriage equality are “some of the darkest 24 hours in our nation’s history” because they represent, as Beck put it, “the end of the Constitution.”

“This is hand-in-hand with a concerted assault on religious liberty and a concerted assault on the Judeo-Christian values this country was built on,” Cruz said of the marriage ruling, dismissing polls showing growing support for gay rights as biased since “it is very easy to design a poll to get the result you want.”

“We are seeing a propaganda effort from the mainstream media and from Hollywood” to legalize same-sex marriage, he added. “This notion that gets repeated everyday on the mainstream media is baloney.”

Meanwhile, Beck congratulated himself for courageously resisting the temptation to ask Cruz about his theory that the NSA is “blackmailing” Chief Justice John Roberts.

Jonathan Cahn: God Will Judge America For Rainbow Lights On White House, World Trade Center

Back in April, the day after the Supreme Court heard arguments on the constitutionality of state gay-marriage bans, End Times rabbi Jonathan Cahn spoke to members of Congress gathered at an event in the Capitol and told them that a ruling in favor of marriage equality would cause God to pass judgment on America .

Speaking at a conference in Pennsylvania this weekend, Cahn repeated the warning he had given to members of Congress, saying that following the Supreme Court’s ruling, we are “watching a civilization approaching judgment” as we witness “the apostasy, the falling of America.”

Cahn was particularly concerned by the decision to project rainbow colors on the White House following the marriage equality ruling. “Just a few days ago, the highest house in the land, representing the American government, was bathed in colors representing not the American flag but of another flag representing the celebration of what the Bible calls evil,” he said. This, he added, was an attempt to “desecrate” the name of God.

Cahn also tied the decision to light One World Trade Center in rainbow colors to his somewhat convoluted theory that an inscription President Obama left on a beam of the building in 2012 was in fact an invitation for God’s judgment on America.

“God is long suffering and merciful,” he said, “but God is not mocked.”

Cahn also predicted that Christians in America will soon face persecution on par with that faced by victims of violent religious persecution in the Middle East.

Ted Cruz’s South Carolina Co-Chair: Confederate Flag Is 'A Proud Symbol' Of 'Freedom,' Gay Marriage Is A 'National Sin'

South Carolina state Sen. Lee Bright, the top Tea Party challenger to Sen. Lindsey Graham in last year’s Republican primary and now a state co-chair of Sen. Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign, took to the floor of the state senate today to urge legislators to focus not on removing the Confederate flag from state grounds but to instead confront the “national sin” of marriage equality.

Raw Story grabbed the video of Bright warning that "the devil is taking control of this land, and we’re not stopping him":

It’s important to note that Bright’s anti-gay rant was not a tangent unrelated to the issue of the Confederate flag, which South Carolina lawmakers are debating today. Bright, a leader of the effort to keep the flag on statehouse grounds, has directly linked the two issues, writing in a Facebook post in defense of the flag that “the recent SCOTUS decisions teach us anything, it’s that states’ rights are under attack more than ever.”

Bright has likened efforts to remove the Confederate flag to a “Stalinist purge” and his campaign has started handing out Stars and Bars bumper stickers to supporters.

In an email urging his supporters to sign a petition supporting the Confederate flag last week, Bright defended the flag as a symbol of the “brave Confederates” who “made a bold stand against an oppressive government that far overstepped its Constitutional limits” and of “a culture that values freedom, even in the face of federal tyranny.”

Is there any doubt that states’ rights are under attack more than ever before?

As I’m sure you’ve heard, the latest liberal hysteria surrounding the placement of the Confederate battle flag has swept the nation. And unfortunately, many of my conservative friends and colleagues have fallen prey to this radical, Big Government scheme.

With all the noise surrounding this issue, please allow me to be abundantly clear where I stand. It is my fervent belief that the Confederate flag is a proud symbol of the following:

  • Resistance against a federal, centralized power that FAR overreached its Constitutional limits.
  • States’ rights and Constitutional liberties, which many have fought and died protecting.
  • Southern heritage and a culture that values freedom, even in the face of federal tyranny.

It is certainly important for us to take steps that prevent future acts of violence. But in this pursuit of peace, should we also dismantle the historical symbols that memorialize states’ rights?

My answer is an emphatic “NO!”

The plain and simple truth is that the placement of this flag will not prevent future tragedies. It’s abundantly clear that the radical liberal agenda is behind this push to remove the flag, which raises the question: where does it all end?

Are we to also remove the names of Confederate officers from our roads? Should we crumble all the Civil War monuments that dot our nation’s landscape?

[NAME], it’s time to take a stand. Right here. Right now.

Over 150 years ago, brave Confederates made a bold stand against an oppressive government that far overstepped its Constitutional limits. Will you please take a stand with me now by signing my online petition to keep the flag flying ?

States all over the nation are giving ground to the radical liberals by removing the symbol of states’ rights from their historical monuments. But if we can make a stand here and now, we can send a strong message to the elites in DC that states’ rights are still alive and well.

Please click here now to sign my petition , which I will then present to my colleagues in the South Carolina legislature. Let’s show them how much we value our heritage!

Cruz, for his part, has criticized people “parachuting” into South Carolina to denounce the flag.

Ted Cruz: Obama Attacking 'Jewish Churches' Over Gay Marriage

In an interview with Glenn Beck last Thursday, Ted Cruz once again badly misrepresented an exchange between Solicitor General Donald Verrilli and Justice Samuel Alito during Supreme Court arguments on the constitutionality of gay marriage bans, telling Beck’s listeners that the Obama administration may soon try to strip churches of their tax-exempt status if their pastors refuse to officiate gay couples’ weddings.

Hyping these unfounded fears, Cruz also said that the Justice Department will similarly target “Jewish churches” that refuse to perform same-sex marriages. (This is not the first time Cruz has spoken of the plight of “Jewish churches”).

Earlier in the program, Cruz agreed with Beck’s assessment that people “who practice real religion” may be “done” as a result of religious hostility in America.

“Christians are being persecuted, people of faith are being persecuted for following biblical teachings on marriage,” Cruz said. “If people of faith do not stand up in this next election, I fear the greatest nation in the history of the world will be lost.”

Rick Santorum Vows To Stop 'Promotion' Of Gay Marriage In Public Schools

Delivering the keynote speech to a National Organization for Marriage gala last week, Rick Santorum denounced the Supreme Court’s decision on marriage equality, criticizing the ruling as “a loss for America.”

At the gala, the GOP presidential candidate signed NOM’s candidate pledge, with his campaign boasting that Santorum was “proud to sign and fully support the National Organization for Marriage's presidential pledge.”

As we’ve noted, NOM’s pledge is about much more than simply asking candidates to oppose same-sex marriage.

Santorum also vowed to “prevent the promotion of a redefined version of marriage in public schools and other government entities” and pledged to “direct the Department of Justice to investigate, document and publicize cases of Americans who have been harassed or threatened for exercising key civil rights to organize, to speak, to donate or to vote for marriage and to propose new protections, if needed.”

I, _____________ _____________, pledge to the American people that if elected President, I will:

One, support a federal constitutional amendment that protects marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

Two, oppose and work to overturn any Supreme Court decision that illegitimately finds a constitutional "right" to the redefinition of marriage. This includes nominating to the U.S. Supreme Court and federal bench judges who are committed to restraint and applying the original meaning of the Constitution, and appointing an attorney general similarly committed.

Three, conduct a review of regulatory, administrative and executive actions taken by the current Administration that have the effect of undermining marriage and work to restore our policies to be consistent with the proper understanding of marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Consistent with this, prevent the promotion of a redefined version of marriage in public schools and other government entities.

Four, support the First Amendment Defense Act and other legislation that recognizes the right of organizations and individuals to act in the public square consistent with their belief that marriage is the union of one man and one woman without fear of retaliation from the government.

Five, direct the Department of Justice to investigate, document and publicize cases of Americans who have been harassed or threatened for exercising key civil rights to organize, to speak, to donate or to vote for marriage and to propose new protections, if needed.

Fischer: 'The Day Is Coming When It Will Be Against The Law For Christians To Hold Public Office'

On his radio broadcast last Thursday, Bryan Fischer warned that, thanks to the Supreme Court decision striking down state bans on gay marriage, Christians will now be prohibited from ever serving in public office.

"You may think that I am exaggerating, that I am hyperbolizing," Fischer declared, "I assure you, ladies and gentlemen, that I am not, that this is the direction that we are headed ... It is, before long, going to become illegal for Christians to hold public office."

"The day is coming when it will be against the law for Christians to hold public office," he continued. "It will be against the law for Christians to even run for public office [and Christians] will not be allowed to serve in any kind of appointed capacity in government."

"Now why do I say that?" Fischer asked. "I say that because of what the Supreme Court did on Friday" by legalizing gay marriage.

WND Pundit: Gay Marriage Will Create Hell On Earth

In his column this weekend, WorldNetDaily commentator Craige McMillan declared that the Constitution is now “a dead document” as a result of the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down state bans on same-sex marriage, a ruling which he said “marks the end of rule of law in America” and ushers in the “destruction” of America.

Describing the ruling as a victory for the left’s “onslaught against ‘the laws of nature and nature’s God,’” McMillan said that the left is now on the brink of seizing complete power.

“Underneath the left’s golden cobblestones of good will, not far down the road they are taking America, is the left’s utopia,” McMillain said. “You will come to know it as hell…. Mao, Stalin, Hitler – all were leftist icons who murdered tens of millions of their own people and counted the cost as being acceptable in order to build the new man for the new age. Nothing but blood, tears and destruction ever came of it.”

The U.S. Supreme Court’s disastrous decision on gay marriage marks the end of the rule of law in America. The Constitution is no longer a “living” document, as the “progressive” wing of the court has always referred to it. The Constitution is a dead document.

In the near term, citizens can expect previously unnoticed “rights” to be discovered left and right by five fallible, opinionated, self-indulgent human beings whose decisions have been placed beyond the legislative process – just as the founders warned. America will not survive this onslaught against “the laws of nature and nature’s God.”

Underneath the left’s golden cobblestones of good will, not far down the road they are taking America, is the left’s utopia. You will come to know it as hell. Underneath the left’s pretty face, it has only ever been about raw, naked power. They view humanity as endlessly malleable and themselves as the sculptor. Having ascended to the levers of statist power from the institutions they first corrupted, they now intend to use that power to reshape men, women and children into their own creation.

Mao, Stalin, Hitler – all were leftist icons who murdered tens of millions of their own people and counted the cost as being acceptable in order to build the new man for the new age. Nothing but blood, tears and destruction ever came of it.

Thus Glenn Beck was correct when he observed, “These are not enemies of man. They are enemies of God.”

Only two paths now lie ahead: repentance or destruction.

Alan Keyes: Gay Marriage Decision Is Treason, Worse Than Dred Scott

Right-wing pundit Alan Keyes told WorldNetDaily readers this weekend that the Supreme Court’s ruling on same-sex marriage was one of the most “treasonous” acts in American history, warning that if “the Obergefell decision stands, America’s constitutional government of, by, and for the people, falls.”

Calling on readers to ask God to reverse “this Court’s supremely treasonous act,” Keyes wrote that “Americans still loyal to the premises of right and justice must emphatically reject this decision.”

He added that it represented an even greater injustice than British colonial rule in the U.S., the Fugitive Slave Acts and the Dred Scott ruling.

This week I published an essay in two parts on the U.S. Supreme Court’s Obergefell decision. I concluded the essay with the words quoted above. Americans still loyal to the premises of right and justice must emphatically reject this decision. They must refuse to submit to it, just as in colonial times America’s first patriots refused to submit to British taxes imposed without regard for the will of legislatures elected by the people; just as in the years before the last Civil War, people of good conscience refused to abide by the Fugitive Slave acts and the U.S. Supreme Court’s Dred Scott decision; just as in the last century people committed to God’s endowment of human justice opposed government sanctioned racial segregation and discrimination, enforced in disregard of the equality of nature conferred by the title of humanity.

The Obergefell decision is a more directly treasonous betrayal of constitutional law and justice than any of those previous acts of tyranny. As ratified by the American people, the U.S. Constitution derives its authority from their sovereign will. In the Declaration of Independence they cite the authority of “the laws of nature and of Nature’s God” and the will and judgment of the Creator and Judge of all the world, as the basis for their claim of sovereignty. By purporting to extend the name of marriage to acts and relations that make no imperative contribution to the common good of human nature as endowed by the Creator, God, the U.S. Supreme Court challenges that will and judgment, treating it as of no account.

If the Obergefell decision stands, America’s constitutional government of, by, and for the people, falls. This is the import and real intent of the Obergefell decision. Note well that by shutting down the font of legitimacy, the justices of the Supreme Court have outflanked any and all provisions of the Constitution. It is, for example, a rationally necessary and well-established principle that the free exercise of religion does not extend to crimes. If, in lawful exercise of sovereign power (sovereign meaning especially, for the sake of the common good) the body that bears responsibility for the law enacts a prohibition against some unjust act, the fact that the action is essential in consequence of even a sincere and longstanding religious belief does not constrain the sovereign’s responsibility to enforce the criminal law.

What we have here is a wholesale act of judicial nullification. If the United States were a monarchy, the sovereign’s throne would be vacant. But America has no throne. The seat of power is in the heart, mind and faithful courage of the people of the United States. If, from that seat of power, the Creator God still rules, this Court’s supremely treasonous act will not stand. Faithful to God’s rule, the people will rise up before His Judgment seat, and “appealing to the Supreme Judge of the World for the rectitude of our intention,” we will stand firm to uphold the government of right and decent liberty God’s hand of Providence still extends toward us. It remains within our reach, so long as we still trust in Him.

Jennifer LeClaire: Gay Marriage Destroyed 'True Freedom And True Equality'

Charisma magazine senior editor Jennifer LeClaire wrote last week that she went into “spiritual shock” following the Supreme Court’s ruling on marriage equality, telling readers that she was “mourning because true freedom and true equality have been replaced by a counterfeit crusade that truly sets no one free.”

“I almost felt like someone had died,” she wrote. “Someone didn’t, but something did. True liberty and justice for all.”

This decision, she said, was the culmination of “an anti-Christ agenda” that “will open the floodgates to a tsunami of perversion in the land.”

When I learned the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of gay marriage I went into what you might call spiritual shock. I almost felt like someone had died. Someone didn't, but something did. True liberty and justice for all. I am grieving right now over the false freedom that was birthed out of a false equality movement. I am mourning because true freedom and true equality have been replaced by a counterfeit crusade that truly sets no one free. I am weeping because America has fallen and many in the church are being caught up in the Great Falling Away.

A line in the sand was long ago drawn. Our tyrannical government crossed that line on June 26, 2015. When five Supreme Court justices trampled state rights they knew all too well Christian rights would be trampled along with them. Call it a betrayal of our Constitution. Call it an anti-Christ agenda. Call it an assault on religious freedom. It's all that and more.

See, crossing this line in the name of equality was a spiritual assault on every believer who calls on the name of Jesus. This isn't about allowing gays to get married. No, not really. While I stand against gay marriage, it's not the letter of the law that concerns me most. It the spirit behind the law that truly grieves me. This ruling will open the floodgates to a tsunami of perversion in the land.

Pedophiles now want the same rights as same-sex couples. But that's the topic of another column.

I have to keep believing even in the midst of a raging spiritual war. I believe America as we know it died last Friday but I believe America can be born again. Like Winston Churchill said during World War II when the situation looked dire, "Never, never, never, never give up."

Staver: Gay Marriage Ruling Has 'Brought Sin And Judgment Upon ... The Court And On The Country'

Liberty Counsel's Mat Staver and Matt Barber are absolutely livid about the Supreme Court decision striking down state bans on gay marriage, declaring on today's "Faith and Freedom" radio broadcast that they will never recognize, respect, or accept the ruling because the Supreme Court has delegitimized itself by issuing it and brought God's judgment upon themselves and the nation.

"This has literally delegitimized the Supreme Court and we need to move forward and treat it as an illegitimate decision," Staver said. "It's not the rule of law. Neither will individuals nor should our government officials respect it as the rule of law, it is not."

Barber agreed, repeatedly declaring that "God will not be mocked" and warning that Christians who accept the ruling are guilty of mocking God as well.

"The five justices have brought sin and judgment upon themselves and on the court and on the country," Staver added. "The question is whether the country will ultimately suffer from this judgment. God is not going to be mocked by this absolute absurdity, this shaking of a fist into the face of the Creator."

Dobson: 'I Fear That God's Judgment Will Befall This Once Great Nation' Because Of Gay Marriage Ruling

James Dobson recently posted a video response to the Supreme Court decision striking down gay marriage bans in which he warned that children will suffer, Christians will be tossed into prison, and God will unleash his judgment upon America.

"I've found myself grieving over the implications for our country and for Western Civilization," the Family Talk founder said. "I grieve most for what it will do to our children, our grandchildren, future generations. They will be taught that right is wrong and that wrong is right and that the teaching of Scripture are unreliable and inaccurate. How outrageous it is to me that boys and girls barely out of babyhood are already being introduced in some schools, in some states, to perverse adult behavior."

Dobson went on a lament that children will now be adopted by gay couples, making them "among the saddest victims of this ruling," before warning that Christians will prosecuted, persecuted, sued and ultimately sent to prison while churches, hospitals, charities and religious schools are stripped of their tax-exempt status and shut down.

"Above all else, I fear that God's judgment will befall this once great nation," Dobson warned:

Anti-Gay Pastor Pledges New Civil War To Fight Marriage Equality, Resurrect The Confederacy

Harlem’s notorious “stone homos” pastor James David Manning will be spending the 4th of July in Gettysburg with Stewart Rhodes, founder of the right-wing Oath Keepers group.

Naturally, Manning drew on the Civil War theme during his radio ministry on Tuesday, boasting that a group of armed neo-Confederate soldiers will launch a new Civil War in response to the Supreme Court’s marriage equality decision.

“Surely the Confederates and the South will win this time,” Manning said. “You are not going to push this sodomy.”

Manning, who said that he will join these fighters, reported that the neo-Confederates will storm the Supreme Court and the White House, proudly flying the Stars and Bars over the Capitol.

“Now the nation must be rescued from the liberal God-haters and Constitution-haters and those that are pushing this sodomy agenda,” he continued. “America will be rescued and the rescuers will be the Confederates, the Southerners, those that have been the blood-washed, Bible-believing, locked-and-loaded. I’m James David Manning and I want to be one of them. I’m the Lord’s servant. ”

Cliff Kincaid: Impeach Ginsburg & 'Known Lesbian' Kagan Because Of Marriage Ruling

In his latest column, Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy In Media calls on Congress to impeach Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan in the wake of the Supreme Court’s marriage equality decision, saying they were biased in the case because they had both officiated weddings for gay couples and because Kagan is a “known lesbian.”

“Members of Congress taking up this cause will not get sympathetic headlines in the media,” he writes. “But it is something that has to be done if Independence Day is going to have any meaning left at all.”

He adds that a spokesman for Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore’s Foundation for Moral Law had told him that “the failure by Kagan and Ginsburg to withdraw from the case leaves them open to impeachment and removal from the bench.”

Whatever the reason for the putsch, our form of government has been overthrown and another put in its place—a judicial dictatorship that is devoted to elevating to protected status a sexual minority seeking the abolition of traditional values. Left unchecked in its drive for power over others, this cabal threatens not only our heritage but America’s standing in the world as a superpower. It appears the Obama administration wants to spend more money on Pentagon gay pride events and climate change than actual weapons systems to defend America.

As we get ready to celebrate Independence Day, however, we can rest assured that the American people remember enough about the founding of their country that they cannot and will not accept a judicial tyranny. That would make a complete mockery of what July 4th is all about and what millions of Americans have sacrificed for.

Our media didn’t treat it as a big deal, but Justices Elena Kagan and Ruth Bader Ginsburg had both officiated at gay weddings. Groups such as the National Organization for Marriage, the American Family Association, the Coalition of African American Pastors, and the Foundation for Moral Law had called for Kagan and Ginsburg to withdraw from the case.

Matthew Kidd, executive director of the Foundation for Moral Law, told Accuracy in Media that the failure by Kagan and Ginsburg to withdraw from the case leaves them open to impeachment and removal from the bench.

In the case of Kagan, an Obama appointee, she may have had a personal conflict-of-interest. This is a sensitive matter, but various reports indicated that Kagan was a known lesbian before she was nominated to the Court by President Obama. For example, the gay blog QueerTY had identified her as a lesbian. That would mean she was compromised on homosexual issues prior to her ascension to the bench and after she was confirmed. This is a conflict of interest that cannot be tolerated.

Whether the reports of her lesbianism are true or not, we know that Kagan had an extremely radical record as Dean of Harvard Law School (2003 to 2009) where she promoted homosexuality and transgenderism. Nevertheless, she was confirmed to the Supreme Court in a 63 to 37 vote.

We now see the evidence of what happens when the media and Congress fail to do their jobs.

Congress, however, can try to undo some of the damage by holding hearings into the possible impeachment of Justices Kagan and Ginsburg. This would be one way of getting to the bottom of Scalia’s sensational charge that America’s democratic system has been subverted and stolen from the American people.

We are bound to hear that impeachment would be difficult and conviction impossible. There’s always an excuse for not taking bold action in Washington, D.C. But a congressional failure to act, in the wake of Scalia’s extraordinary charge of a judicial Putsch, would suggest that celebrating July 4th means fireworks and nothing more.

I think enough Americans are sufficiently concerned about this matter that they want to see some real fireworks, in the form of Congress exposing the lies, corruption and conflicts of interest that went into the sick and tyrannical gay marriage ruling.

Members of Congress taking up this cause will not get sympathetic headlines in the media. But it is something that has to be done if Independence Day is going to have any meaning left at all.

Michael Savage: Gays Want To Throw Pastors In Jail, Then Into The Coliseum

Michael Savage lit into the Supreme Court over its ruling striking down state bans on same-sex marriage, warning his listeners on Monday that gay rights advocates are planning to prosecute pastors who refuse to officiate gay couples’ weddings.

Savage pointed to a 2014 story out of Idaho where two pastors at a for-profit chapel claimed they were being threatened with jail time for breaking a local nondiscrimination ordinance. As it turned out, the chapel was exempt from the ordinance because it was a religious entity. “We’re back in the Soviet Union now,” Savage declared.

He also linked his false claim about pastors going to prison with last week’s ISIS massacre of European vacationers in Tunisia: “Gays will cheer. As they start throwing pastors in prison, you’ll see who’ll cheer them. Next we’ll get the arena and the lions, get the arena and the lions and bring them in from Tunisia.”

“I feel like I’m being punched left and right from the Supreme Court today, I’ve never saw anything like this in my life,” Savage said, before praising Mike Huckabee’s call to defy the Supreme Court’s marriage ruling.

Glenn Beck Pretty Sure Non-Existent Navy Yard Shooter Was Probably A Muslim

Early this morning, it was reported that a shooter was on the loose at the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C., but those reports eventually turned out to be false after D.C. police responded and found "no signs of a shooter, no shooting and no injured."

Predictably, Glenn Beck opened his radio program this morning by reporting the news of an active shooter at the Navy Yard and didn't hesitate to suggest that the shooter was Muslim and that President Obama would use the shooting as an excuse to "take our guns," while repeatedly admitting that he literally had no information about the incident at all.

"I'm sure the president is going to be looking into more stress, somebody is probably really stressed out," Beck said, sarcastically. "Yes, yes, of course, they're Muslim, but they were just stressed out. That's what we'll probably find out, and it has nothing to do with Islam."

After admitting that "it could be a guy who has nothing to do with Islam" who was responsible for the non-existent shooting, Beck declared that "I'm tired of everything being a lone gunman who has nothing to do with Islam; it's just his three middle names and his last name are Muhammad and that's no big deal."

"We have no information here," Beck once again stated, before he then proceeded to declare that "we're going to lose our guns."

"With the shootings, they're just going to start taking away guns," he said. "They're going to try to take away the guns."

Everyone Get Ready For 'Gay Sharia'

John Zmirak is a conservative columnist who actually believes that Christians in America are facing a holocaust just like Armenians in Turkey in 1915 and Tutsis in Rwanda in 1994.

In an interview with Alaska GOP politician and conservative talk show host Joe Miller that was posted online today, Zmirak maintained that gay rights advocates pose a greater threat to the U.S. than ISIS since they plan to impose a version of “gay Sharia” where Christians will be forced to pay a discriminatory jizya tax.

In an interview yesterday on “The Eric Metaxas Show,” Zmirak predicted that all churches and groups that oppose same-sex marriage will now lose their tax-exempt status, claiming that Justice Anthony Kennedy surreptitiously suggested that churches will lose their freedom of religion.

“He was opening a door for the future destruction of orthodox Christian churches in America,” Zmirak said. “It was conscious, it was intentional and I think if we have a president like Hillary Clinton, in the first 100 days of her administration, you will see the tax-exemption of every faithful church and synagogue in America revoked. It will be presented as progress, ‘love has won and now it’s time to shoot the prisoners.’”

Metaxas claimed that the U.S. is now turning into “Germany in the ‘30s” when people “had no idea” where Nazism “would end up.”

Tom Tancredo: Marriage Equality Will Criminalize Support For The Confederate Flag, Criticism Of Islam

Former Republican congressman Tom Tancredo managed to tie two of the biggest issues of the week together on Tuesday when he railed against efforts to take down Confederate flags, saying that the Koran is an even more dangerous symbol, and then claimed that thanks to the Supreme Court’s recent marriage equality decision, such comments will soon be illegal.

When Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg asked Tancredo to discuss a Facebook post he recently wrote comparing the Confederate flag to the Koran, Tancredo responded that efforts to “erase” the flag are misguided.

“However,” he continued, “there is something else out there, our president really happens to enjoy it, we teach about it in the public schools, we tell people, kids in the public schools to respect it. It’s called the Koran and it’s responsible for far more, far more murders, enslavement, the most horrible things, and it’s still going on. It’s not history, it’s still happening. And that, we don’t ban it, heavens no, we even tell kids we gotta read it in our schools and respect it.”

Malzberg then changed the subject, asking Tancredo about the Supreme Court’s marriage decision, which Tancredo said was connected. Not only will the decision eventually lead to the criminal prosecution of pastors, he claimed, but soon “everything I just said” about the Confederate flag and the Koran will be “outlawed” due to the institution of unconstitutional hate speech prohibitions.

“Mark my words, that’s what’s coming,” he said. “Dark days ahead, Steve.”
