Swanson: 'Women Do Not Love Their Children' and Society is Coming to an End

Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner of Generations Radio issued a grim prediction for the future of the family last week. The pair cited the results of the recent Pew Social Trends Survey on the rise of “breadwinner moms” as evidence that “women care less about their children” than men do.

Swanson easily explained this apathy. For more than half a century, he said, the “feminist zeitgeist” has been berating women with the message, “You do not love your children, you kill your children,” and, “You get out of that house, you do not raise your children.”

What’s the takeaway message? “Women do not love their children as they used to,” and it’s all Margaret Sanger’s fault.

Swanson: Because there are so many women in the work force, the women’s hearts are not home. There are far more men who say it would be better if moms could stay home because apparently the dads still care about the kids. The moms, it’s a lower percentage Dave, 45% say it’d be better if moms were home, 67% of men say it would be better if moms were home, meaning there are far far more women- or far far more men- who say that it’d be better if moms were home because women care less about their children and about the influence they could have on their children because Dave I think they’re already in the work force and they certainly don’t want to say it’d be better if I were home. That’s the issue.

Buehner: Well Kevin this may run contrary to the social narrative but the social narrative is wrong. Think about it. The vast majority of divorces, they’re filed by women. The vast majority of children who are killed in the womb are killed on the sole discretion of a woman. So when we get this idea in our social narrative that women love children more than men, women love family more than men, are more protective, the data is absolutely the opposite way. That’s why you end up with more men who think it would be good if their children had a functional household and mom was there to raise them.

Swanson: They’ve been the recipient of a culture, a Margaret Sanger culture, Dave, that has told them ‘You do not love your children, you kill your children. You do not love your children, you kill your children. You do not love your children.’ The Betty Friedans have said, ‘You do not love your children. You get out of that house, you do not raise your children. You do not love your children.’ They have been under that nonstop for the last 50 to 60 to 70 to 80 years. The feminist zeitgeist has been incredibly powerful in working in the hearts and minds of so many tens of millions if not hundreds of millions of women in the Western world. Friends, women do not love their children as they used to.

Swanson later took on an apocalyptic tone, asserting that the rise of the career woman also equals “the end of manhood,” “men,” and “fatherhood.” The rise of the female breadwinner means more than unloved children. It also means the demise of society.

Swanson: Here’s the most telling story of all. From the Pew Research, Pew social trends survey that came out just this week. Friends, this is the most telling story of all. We’re going to look at the millennial generation alright. We’re going to put aside the baby boomers, the ‘Gen-Xers’, we’re going to look at the millennials who are 18 to 30 years of age. Here’s the most telling story of all: 78% of moms are working outside of the home amongst the millennials.

Buehner: I’m sorry how many?

Swanson: 78% of moms are working outside of the home. 17% dad is the primary breadwinner. 61% the mom is the primary breadwinner. 29% are single moms. Okay, there it is. That’s it. 17% of dads, 61% of moms. Friends, it’s over. It’s over, it’s done. That’s it. That’s the end of it. It’s the end of manhood, it’s the end of men, it’s the end of fatherhood, it’s done, we’ve gone over the cliff. 61% of moms are primary breadwinners, 17% of dads among the millenialls, and 78% of moms are working outside of the home. It’s over. There will be no more mothers and of course there are no more fathers. It’s over. And that’s the way that the average Christian, Christian homeschooler, Christian public schooler, that’s the way they’re raising their kids. They’re raising their kids such that 61% of their daughters will be the primary breadwinners and 17% of their sons will be primary breadwinners. Those are the numbers and that’s the numbers that came out from the Pew Research last week. And this is not going to last another generation friends. This is the last generation. You all understand, this is the last. Our society, our social systems are not going to last for another generation. This is the end of it. When there are no more dads, no more fathers, it’s over.

Beck: 'Whether We Know It or Not,' The World Is Engaged in Moloch/Baal Worship

Glenn Beck's latest book, The Eye Of Moloch, was released today and he spent much of his radio program this morning promoting it.

While explaining that the title was constructed by combining the notion of the all-seeing eye with the pagan god Moloch to whom ancient cultures sacrificed their children, Beck declared that the release of his book at this time was not a coincidence because today the world is unknowingly engaged in Moloch and Baal worship, as demonstrated by Occupy Wall Street and others:

Klayman: 'Obama & His Comrades May Be Intending to Seize Absolute Power with the Goal of Relegating We the People as His Slaves'

Larry Klayman is out with a new column arguing that the NSA surveillance program vindicates everything he has said about Obama, but now it may be too late. Klayman, who has filed a class action lawsuit against Obama, administration officials and federal judge Roger Vinson over the matter, refers to Obama as “our American ‘führer’” and argues that he is using the program “to further his pro-Muslim, anti-Israel, anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, anti-white, pro-homosexual, pro-illegal immigrant, pro-abortion, pro-atheist, socialist and ultra leftist agendas with what many perceive to be his desire to impose a dictatorial, tyrannical hold on our citizenry.”

He concludes that “it is no longer beyond imagination that Obama and his comrades may be intending to seize absolute power with the goal of relegating We the People as his slaves – never relinquishing power.”

"Nobody is listening to your telephone calls."

These are the words of our American "führer," President Barack Hussein Obama, who, however unbelievable, found it necessary to "reassure" the rabble of this great nation Friday that he, "Big Brother," is not spying on it in the wake of revelations of widespread searches of over 100 million Verizon cellphone subscribers and users and the illegal warrants he had issued and executed on Fox News and Associated Press employees and management. As a Verizon user myself, I am directly affected by these criminal unconstitutional searches and seizures, and I have filed suit to hold Obama, his attorney general, Eric Holder, my alma mater, the U.S. Justice Department, the head of the National Security Agency (NSA) Keith B. Alexander, the head of Verizon and the judge who illegally issued the warrant, Roger Vinson, accountable to the people.

It is unlikely Congress will do so, since they are the ones who passed the heinous and perversely applied Patriot Act – which had been repeatedly used as a pretext to violate our privacy. Already establishment politicians like Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, some Republican congressmen and senators like Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and sleazy, over-stuffed Bush administration hacks like Karl Rove are incredibly attempting to justify this unprecedented and overly broad intrusion into our privacy, first instituted under President George W. Bush but now taken to the extreme by the "führer," as necessary to combat terrorists. In case of Obama, however, his use of these invasive warrants is likely for other ulterior abusive reasons, meaning that they are a means to further his pro-Muslim, anti-Israel, anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, anti-white, pro-homosexual, pro-illegal immigrant, pro-abortion, pro-atheist, socialist and ultra leftist agendas with what many perceive to be his desire to impose a dictatorial, tyrannical hold on our citizenry. Even the liberal commentator on Fox News, Bob Beckel, much to his credit, is outraged and frightened by Obama's illegal power grab. And that's not to mention the New York Times, which has found it necessary to "re-evaluate" Obama and stated in an editorial that "The administration has now lost all credibility."

The die has now been cast for all Americans and the world to see and experience. Coupled with the government's stockpiling of guns and ammunition, intimidation with internal security forces, which deploy black helicopters over our cities firing practice rounds, and other coercive tactics, it is no longer beyond imagination that Obama and his comrades may be intending to seize absolute power with the goal of relegating We the People as his slaves – never relinquishing power.

Perkins: Gays to Blame for Rise of Military Sexual Assaults, Service Members 'Preferred' Don't Ask Don't Tell

On Washington Watch yesterday, Family Research Council president Tony Perkins asserted that the military has experienced a “rise of homosexual assault since the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” and that service members “preferred” the discriminatory policy. “The ramifications of this, the unintended consequences are far and wide,” Perkins lamented, warning that soon the military will have “quotas” to promote gay and lesbian service members.

Let’s do a quick rundown of Perkins’ claims, shall we?

  • There has been no evidence “suggesting that DADT repeal has led to a rise in violence among service members” [PDF].
  • The vast majority of service members said the repeal of DADT has had “no effect” on them and a mere 13% said they “continue to oppose repeal.”

But Perkins seems quite content with spewing baseless arguments as long as it furthers his anti-gay political efforts.

So we’ve seen this rise of homosexual assault since the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, so it is this sexualization of the military where sex becomes the focal point and it shouldn’t be. When there was Don’t Ask Don’t Tell nobody knew and that’s the way they preferred it and now it becomes front and center. I was talking with Gen. Jerry Boykin about this about how there will soon be quotas so that people who are openly gay or lesbian, that will be a factor that is considered when they’re promoted in a positive sense, ‘well we’ve got to have so many open homosexuals, so many lesbians, we’ve got to promote them.’ The ramifications of this, the unintended consequences are far and wide.

Boykin: NSA Surveillance Program Is a Marxist Tactic Being Used to Discredit the Opposition to Obama

Current Family Research Council Executive Vice President Jerry Boykin fancies himself an expert on Marxist insurgencies, so much so that he apparently detects them everywhere he looks.

So it was no surprise that when he was on Glenn Beck's television program last night discussing the recent revelations regarding the NSA surveillance program, he declared that the entire program was "right out of Rules For Radicals, Saul Alinsky" and "very much a part of what I consider to be the Marxist model," designed to be used by the Obama administration to discredit its political opposition and critics:

Rep. Blackburn Falsely Claims Majority Supports Defunding Planned Parenthood

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) is encouraging her colleagues in the House GOP to once again attempt to defund Planned Parenthood, even though in the last election 59% of voters said they were pro-choice and 53% opposed efforts to defund the women’s health organization. But not according to Blackburn, who told Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council yesterday that “the majority of the American people,” and “the majority of American women,” oppose abortion rights and Planned Parenthood funding.

Blackburn claimed that Planned Parenthood “outsources” cancer screenings and birth control services and uses federal money “to subsidize the abortion services,” while Perkins worried that the government was creating a “feeder system for the abortion business” by naming it as a “resource” for women.

Contrary to heir assertions, the government is banned from funding abortion services (which represent just 3% of Planned Parenthood services) and the dollars are not fungible.

Perkins: What they do by giving them this federal money is they set them up as a source, a resource, and it becomes a feeder system for the abortion business that that they have.

Blackburn: Well of course, because as you say money is fungible. The money that is coming in the door that they are saying is there for birth control and cancer screenings and pregnancy planning, all of which they are outsourcing, they still have those dollars. Then they have other dollars that are coming in through abortion or either they are using this money to subsidize the abortion services that they are providing through the mechanism of the fact that those dollars are fungible. You do not have an abortion business and another services business; it is all under one umbrella. People don’t like this, whether they are pro-choice or pro-life, they do not like the fact that you are having taxpayer dollars go for abortion services. The majority of the American people are pro-life, the majority of American women are pro-life and because of that we need to make certain that Planned Parenthood does not get this money and that they are not able to use it to support or stand up or expand their abortion services.

Robertson Angered by Jets' 'Shameful' Treatment of Tim Tebow

It seems like everybody has an opinion on Tim Tebow being signed by the Patriots, and that includes Pat Robertson. Robertson, who believes that God will use Tebow to restore the “moral compass in our nation,” said on today’s edition of the 700 Club that the Jets’ treatment of the “tremendous” Tebow was “nothing short of shameful.” “I don’t know what it was,” Robertson lamented, “it was just a travesty.”

Robertson also hailed Tebow’s physical fitness: “Man has he got muscles, he’s been working out, he’s got this chest and muscles.”

“Oh well, the Jets ought to get the ‘Goat of the Year Award,’” Robertson concluded.

John Hagee Confuses 9/11 With the 1981 Shooting of President Reagan

John Hagee is in the middle of delivering a four-part weekly sermon on "Sin, Sex, and Self Control" which has been, despite it's exciting title, disappointingly boring.

This week's sermon was on "God's Message for Men," during which Hagee spent quite a bit of time explaining the ways in which men and women are different, which is due to different ways their brains functions. In making his case, Hagee brought up the 9/11 attacks as an example of how men and women supposedly react differently to a crisis.

Saying that women responded by having sympathy for those trapped in the World Trade Center towers while men reacted by wanting to know who was in charge, Hagee confused the 9/11 attack with the attempted assassination of President Reagan in 1981, claiming that in the aftermath of the attacks "Alexander Haig actually said 'I'm in charge here.' Not according to the Constitution, Alexander, but if you think so, okay":

Robertson: Gays Will 'Destroy' Boy Scouts to 'Accommodate a Few Kids Who Want to do Sex with Each Other'

Earlier this year, televangelist Pat Robertson claimed that the Boy Scouts of America would be opening the door to “predators” and “pedophiles” if the organization ended its ban on gay members. Following the BSA’s decision to lift its ban on openly gay youth, Robertson on the 700 Club today said that it is a “terrible shame” that a “tiny minority” is “willing to rip apart the framework of traditional marriage; to rip apart an organization that has done so much good for young people, the Boy Scouts; to rip apart certain of these other things that we have counted as important in our society; all for one thing: that the way they do sex will be accepted in the mainstream of society.”

“Two percent deciding what the rest of us does,” Robertson warned, “and they are willing to destroy it. Hollywood and the so-called liberal media has jumped on board that this is the new civil rights, well I don’t think so.”

He went on to say that it “breaks your heart” to see the Boy Scouts “torn up in order to accommodate a few kids who want to do sex with each other. It just boggles the mind.”
