Pastor Jim Garlow is currently hosting his "Future Conference" at his megachurch in San Diego, which was organized in order to mobilize and train pastors to give up their lives, if necessary, to fight supposed anti-Christian persecution in America.
Unsurprisingly, speakers at the conference are delivering all sorts of apocalyptic warnings, such as the one issued by right-wing anti-Islam activist Avi Lipkin — the right-wing activist who thinks that President Obama and the Illuminati are bringing 100 million Muslims to America — who told attendees that every church in America has been infiltrated by Muslim "spies" who are pretending to have converted to Christianity for the sole purpose of gathering information on all the members of the congregation so that they can be killed when Muslims carry out jihad against America:
Jewish author Avi Lipkin warned Monday that "all" churches in America have been infiltrated by Muslim spies who frequently pretend to have found Christ but are really looking to provide intelligence to radical Muslims who will try to kill all Jews and Christians when jihad is ordered upon the U.S.
When Muslims are called to jihad, Lipkin believes that they will already have personal information on Jews and Christians because they will have used deception to build personal relationships with those they seek to exterminate.
Explaining that it is a violation of the Quran for Muslims to seek relationships with Jews and Christians, Lipkin said there is an exception for those who plan to act as Islamic spies on churches and synagogues.
Lipkin further explained that his wife, an Egyptian-born Jewess named Rachel, is an avid monitor of various Islamic broadcasts, television feeds and other Islamic news outlets. In one particular Arabian broadcast, Lipkin said Rachel heard the claim made that "all" churches in America have Muslim spies.
"It is very dangerous for a Muslim to even be associated with Christian missionaries or Christian churches unless they are spies. My wife has picked up broadcasts that say all the churches in America have Muslim spies in them, including former Christians who converted to Islam," Lipkin said.
"When Muslims come to you and say 'Oh yes, we have accepted Christ and we are born-again,' you gotta be real careful because lying in Arabic is not only permissible it is commanded. Lying is a virtue in Islam to defeat the enemy."
Lipkin told the story of one highly-decorated Middle Eastern Muslim doctor who applied for a Canadian visa in order to set up a medical office in Edmonton, Alberta. Before leaving for Canada, Lipkin explained that radical Muslims demanded that she record the personal information, addresses and phone numbers of her Jewish and Christian patients in Edmonton. The Muslims demanded that after she acquired the personal information of her non-Muslim patients, she had to send it to them on a disk so that information can be used to kill her patients once jihad has been ordered in Canada.
"When a war breaks out in the Middle East and orders for jihad come to the Muslims of Canada, the Muslims of Edmonton will kill the Jews of Edmonton and Muslims of Toronto will kill the Jews of Toronto and the Muslims of Vancouver will kill the Jews of Vancouver," Lipkin continued.
The Washington Times today profiled David Lane, the far-right extremist who is working with the Republican National Committee to mobilize conservatives come Election Day, and trains pastors to get “involved in the ‘dirty’ game of politics.”
These trainings, part of Lane’s effort to recruit 1,000 pastors to run for office, have particularly popped up in early primary states, with one speaker, Bruce Waltke, urging “the righteous” in attendance to “defend against the wicked by vigilant and spiritual warfare.”
Presidential candidates such as Ted Cruz, Bobby Jindal and Mike Huckabee, the conservative outlet notes, recently joined Lane’s training sessions or are scheduled to do so (Rand Paul and Rick Perry have also made appearances at Lane’s events).
“Fighting back tears, Mr. Lane prayed for mercy over the 55 million babies that have been aborted since Rove v. Wade, the mounting national debt, the growing acceptance of homosexuality and fears of Islamic terrorism,” the article continued, while adding that Lane criticized Caitlyn Jenner’s “perverse” gender transition as a “mark of a decadent society.”
“We are mobilizing an army,” David Lane, founder of American Renewal, told The Washington Times on the sidelines of the training session, which he named after a biblical tribe of Israel that produced wise leaders.
During the six-hour session, Bruce Watke [sic], author of “Proverbs and Politics: The Biblical Foundation for Righteous Governing,” told the rapt attendees that there has been a misunderstanding of the separation of church and state in politics. He used parables to outline the need for Christians to be involved in the “dirty” game of politics.
“The righteous must defend society against the wicked by vigilant and spiritual warfare. If Christians don’t fight, the wicked will plunder their heritage,” Mr. Watke [sic] said. “With hard work, the wise will prevail over the evil as surely as oil protects iron from rust, as cedar wood protects cloth from moths and salt preserves meat from maggots.”
Dave Hageman and Steve Michael, the young political masterminds behind the American Renewal Project’s $2 million ground game in last year’s U.S. Senate races that helped turn out low-propensity evangelical Christian voters, shared a beginner’s guide on running for office, outlined the mechanics of campaign operations and provided some insight into messaging.
In response to a question about Bruce Jenner, he said he feels sorry for the former Olympic athlete, who now goes by the name Caitlyn, whom he argued needs prayer. He shook his head at the attention the “liberal” media have given to his “perverse” behavior.
“The mark of a decadent society is the exaltation and normalization of sin,” he said. “That is what they are doing.”
Fighting back tears, Mr. Lane prayed for mercy over the 55 million babies that have been aborted since Rove v. Wade, the mounting national debt, the growing acceptance of homosexuality and fears of Islamic terrorism.
Some of the big names in Republican Party politics have taken notice. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, a declared presidential candidate, attended the second training in Oklahoma, and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who is expected to enter the presidential race June 24, addressed a training session in Baton Rouge and last week’s session in South Carolina.
Mr. Huckabee is scheduled to appear at the next training session July 10 in Orlando, Florida. Close to 100 pastors have signed up for the event.
Conservative pundit Pat Buchanan is out with a column, “Is Third World America Inevitable?,” today hailing Ann Coulter’s new book, “Adios, America!,” warning that immigration reform “will mean the end to America as the Western nation we have been, and the beginning of America’s life as what Ann calls, unapologetically, a ‘Third World hellhole.’”
Buchanan warns that ethnic diversity will fuel racial tensions, violence and terrorism, likening the purported dangers of immigration to Russian aggression in Eastern Europe and threats from North Korea.
He also laments that immigration will cripple the electoral prospects of the GOP, predicting that it will soon become “impossible” for a Republican presidential candidate to win a White House bid.
Thousands of U.S. troops safeguard the border of South Korea. U.S. warships patrol the South China Sea to stand witness to the territorial claims of Asian allies against China.
U.S. troops move in and out of the Baltic States to signal our willingness to defend the frontiers of these tiny NATO allies.
Yet nothing that happens on these borders imperils America so much as what is happening on our own bleeding border with Mexico.
Over three decades, that border has been a causeway into the USA for millions of illegal immigrants who are changing the face of America – to the delight of those who think the country we grew up in was ugly.
All sides of this quarrel have been using the figure of 11 million people here illegally. In her new best-seller “Adios, America!” Ann Coulter makes a compelling case that the real figure is close to 30 million.
If that is true, and if the next president embraces amnesty and a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, that will mean the end to America as the Western nation we have been, and the beginning of America’s life as what Ann calls, unapologetically, a “Third World hellhole.”
Politically, immigrants from Third World countries, as they rely upon government for food, housing assistance, health care and the education of their children, support the Party of Government.
Mitt Romney lost the two fastest-growing major minorities, Hispanics and Asians, who now account for more than a fifth of our population and a seventh of our voters, by 40 points. And as their numbers and voting percentages rise, the GOP will find that reaching 270 electoral votes is not only more difficult than in Reagan’s day, it has become impossible.
Among the myths or lies drummed into the heads of Americans is that we have always been a “nation of immigrants,” and “diversity,” i.e., racial, ethnic and religious diversity, “is a strength.”
Has the addition of tens of millions of Asian and African Muslims strengthened the Old Continent that ruled the world? Or do they imperil its security and survival as the cradle and heartland of the West?
As racial, ethic [sic] and religious hatreds pull people apart and create terrorists all over our disintegrating world, why would we make ourselves ever more diverse?
David Lane, the Religious Right political organizer with deep ties to the Republican Party and a long record of extremist statements, is out with a warning about the upcoming Supreme Court case on marriage equality, warning in Charisma magazine yesterday that “the law has been drained of all truth by judicial secularists and relativists.” The Supreme Court’s rulings on church-state separation, Lane said, have “guaranteed the spiritual collapse of America.” Now, he warns, the Supreme Court is going to intensify “the threat posed by militant homosexuals.”
Lane said that “homosexual activists” are moving from “libertarianism” to “totalitarianism” and ultimately to “homosexual fascism.”
“Spiritual blindness permeates this once Christian people who now cannot recognize that the murder of 55 million babies in their mother’s womb, red ink as far as the eye can see, homosexuals praying at the Inauguration, and ISIS camped eight miles from the U.S. Border in Mexico portends the coming judgment of God,” Lane said. “Homosexual intercourse and homosexual marriage are merely the characteristic marks of a decadent society. Caitlin [sic] Jenner is simply the latest role model ‘showcased’ for our children to emulate, sanctioned by public education, higher learning, the main street media and Hollywood. Secularists are dismantling America brick-by-brick.”
The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to rule on the homosexual marriage case on June 29. A pro-homosexual marriage opinion by the Justices will be an easy decision to disobey for Christians. The choice is obedience to Christ or obedience to the state.
Since the law has been drained of all truth by judicial secularists and relativists, what is good and what is evil are apparently determined by whatever five Supreme Court Justices can agree to on any given day.
Secularist values are not only different from, but also sharply antithetical to Christianity. The Justices' removal of the Bible from public schools in 1963—the fixed point in order to structure and judge society for 350 years—guaranteed the spiritual collapse of America.
This seems to be as good a time as any to speak of the threat posed by militant homosexuals. Homosexual activists once demanded libertarianism: "Grant us the right to live our lives in the privacy of our homes." Now, they have transitioned into totalitarianism: "Christian bakers, florists and photographers must take part in our homosexual weddings or be destroyed and bankrupted." But what comes next is homosexual fascism: "The followers of Jesus are going to celebrate and applaud same-sex marriage or spend time in jail."
Spiritual blindness permeates this once Christian people who now cannot recognize that the murder of 55 million babies in their mother's womb, red ink as far as the eye can see, homosexuals praying at the Inauguration, and ISIS camped eight miles from the U.S. Border in Mexico portends the coming judgment of God. We need a Gideon or Rahab the Harlot to make a stand.
This past Saturday, Phyllis Schlafly hosted former House GOP Majority Leader Tom DeLay on “Eagle Forum Live” to discuss the alleged threat of gay marriage. Schlafly segued into the topic of gay marriage by describing an open letter to the Supreme Court, signed by conservative pastors and politicians, pledging to defy any Court decision which strikes down state bans on same-sex marriage.
DeLay lamented that “people don’t understand the constitution. We haven’t taught our children now for three or four generations what the Constitution is, and the separation of powers, and what our Founding Fathers had in mind as this brilliant understanding of how you can limit government and limit the tyranny put on us through people or oligarchies.”
Because of this supposed constitutional ignorance, DeLay claimed, “right now, the American people don’t understand that the Supreme Court, when it makes a ruling, it’s just an opinion if no one enforces that ruling. The Supreme Court doesn’t have a police force; the Supreme Court doesn’t have an army; the Supreme Court doesn’t have people that can enforce their ruling.” Therefore, if conservatives “stand up to them and invoke the Constitution, then we don’t have to accept a ruling on marriage that redefines marriage. And that’s basically what this ad is all about. We’re sending a message to the Supreme Court that, number one, it’s illegal that they have this case before them; it’s not in their jurisdiction.”
Proving his Constitutional prowess, DeLay argued that “it’s not in their authority to write law by ten unelected, unaccountable people, lawyers, and if – this is a red line that we’re drawing. If they rule against marriage, we will all defy them.”
Further along in the show, a caller, responding to the overreach of the Supreme Court, noted that “civil rights laws, such as Brown v. Board of Education and Virginia v. Loving [sic], were put on us by courts legislating from the bench and presidential executive orders. And back then even one-third of the black people did not want integration. And Governor George Wallace warned about the tyranny now happening under the Obama administration.”
Responding to this lecture, Schlafly observed, “Well, lots of mistakes have been made along those lines.”
DeLay concluded his time on Schlafly’s show by commentating on the “danger” of the potential imposition of martial law by pointing to the stand-off at Bundy Ranch in April 2015, where Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy refused to pay grazing fees for using federal land. “He stood up to them and backed them down,” DeLay said.
On the Friday edition of “Washington Watch,” Craig James of the Family Research Council discussed a case in New Jersey where an ex-gay therapy organization has been charged with consumer fraud. One caller told James that “the whole homosexual movement is really like a religion and the religion is sex and they worship their own genitals,” which he said is “something that needs to be pointed out in lawsuits by Republicans and anybody in office.”
James added that “there is an agenda” and “the agenda is to shut down” anyone who opposes homosexuality.
“They’re trying to shut down my Christian beliefs,” James said. “That’s the agenda. The proof is in the pudding in the way it’s moving right now.”
On his radio program this morning, Glenn Beck recounted how, when his daughter was off at college, she was essentially brainwashed into believing that people like him hated gays. That was absurd, he told her, because just look at "how many homosexual friends we have, how many homosexual employees we have" as he assured her that "we have no problem" with gay people.
The reason he opposes gay marriage, he explained to her, is because gay activists only want it so that they can use it to force Christians to violate their faith, just like during the time of Sodom and Gomorrah.
In Beck's recounting of Genesis 19, two angels arrived at Lot's house when the men of Sodom and Gomorrah demanded they be sent outside so they could have sex with them, which Lot rejected, offering his own daughter as a substitute. And that is exactly what Christians are facing again today as they too are surrounded and pressured by gay activists who are forcing them to comply.
"Lot has said in his language of his day, 'Guys, don’t force us to comply. Don't force us to comply,'" Beck said. "No, you will comply! It shows that even back then, the religious were willing to — they didn’t want to fight, they're not trying to control everybody — they're just saying, no, I don’t want to participate."
"Think of the people who won't do floral arrangements for gay weddings," he continued. "Think about the people who are bakers. Now there's another one with a DJ. They just say, 'I don't want to participate.' That's what Lot was saying, we don’t want to participate. And in exchange for not participating, I'll give you something I shouldn't be offering, but I'll comprise this far but no further. We're making exactly the same mistakes and they are making exactly the same demands as were happening in Sodom and Gomorrah."
