[2]PFAW Foundation hopes to be able to provide updated voting rights materials in preparation for Election Day 2010. Below are the materials used in 2008. Note that certain states' laws may have changed between 2008 and today. Please consult your state and local election offices and http://www.vote411.org/ for current information."
We've already seen problems in 2008 having to do with voters receiving the incorrect type of ballot, improper information from poll judges about what forms of voter ID are required in their state, and much more. Because of recently passed voter ID laws in some states, new technology that's not remotely consistent in many jurisdictions from year to year, and the sheer number of voters turning out, we expect more confusion in November.
Arm Yourself with Knowledge
Below you'll find toolkits and 2-page flyers on voter ID requirements for the following states. Please note: The second page of the flyers are upside-down so that they can be easily folded — please print out and distribute widely! (Not a resident of one of these states?
