Looks like Sally Kern is facing a Republican primary challenger in her bid for re-election. David Brody's book on "The Teavangelicals" is now available in bookstores. We will not be reading it. Rick Santorum says he will not be serving in any Romney administration because "it’s just for me it’s a matter of my priorities and my time of being a husband and a father." Ummm ... then why did he run for president? It is kind of ironic that David Barton, of all people, is fighting a Texas law that was passed in order to eliminate "meritless... MORE

Mission America’s Linda Harvey almost always dedicates her radio show to denouncing the gay community, and Saturday’s program was no different as she blasted gay parents as “pathetic” and selfish for not raising children with two parents of the opposite sex. Later in the program, she insisted that gays and lesbians can have the freedom to marry if they would only join her “ex-homosexual” friends who have “grabbed onto that freedom to marry, at least in theory.” Otherwise, Harvey laments that they will be stuck in “lifeless”... A number of top Religious Right figures over the last few years have been trying to rally support among conservatives for comprehensive immigration reform, arguing that Hispanics are potential allies in their anti-choice and anti-gay advocacy work while warning that if the Right continues to alienate and demonize Latino voters then they will be writing their own political death sentence. As a result, it wasn’t a surprise to see Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention and Sam Rodriguez of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference enthusiastically applaud the Obama... Last month, the Family Research Council hosted its annual "Watchmen on the Wall" conference in Washington DC and, in conjunction, organized a press conference where event speakers would gather to announce their support for the Defense of Marriage Act. Among the speakers at the press conference was Jim Garlow, who took President Obama to task for saying that his Christian faith played a role in his support for marriage equality.  Declaring that anyone can call themselves a Christian but still be ill-informed, biblically illiterate, and even an apostate, Garlow offered Obama... Recently it was reported that the national executive council of the Boy Scouts of America would be voting on a resolution next year that would change the organization's policy which bans gay Scouts and troop leaders. On Friday's radio program, Bryan Fischer predicted that the Boy Scouts were not going to change the policy because doing so would "mean the end of the Boy Scouts" since parents would never allow their children to join unless they are positive that "homosexual pedophiles like this Jerry Sandusky" were being kept out of the organization:   MORE

It appears that Newt Gingrich was very, very popular at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference. Only in WND do you see articles that begin with the line "Did Barack Obama’s mother pose nude for communist poet and journalist Frank Marshall Davis?" FRC is seeking signatures for a petition urging the Department of Defense to "stand strong against those who seek to purge our military of one of its greatest sources of strength." Matt Barber continues to equate anti-abortion activists to Dietrich Bonhoeffer and everyone else to Nazis.... MORE

Yesterday we posted a clip featuring Jerry Boykin warning that public school textbooks were being intentionally designed in order to undermine students' pride in being Americans in order to weaken our Judeo-Christian values and ultimately install full-blown Marxism in this nation. Today, Boykin followed that up by explaining to Rick Joyner that the Occupy Movement was proof that this conspiracy was working, claiming that participants in the movement "don't even know why they're there" or even realize that they have been led into it "by a very deliberate group that wants to... Earlier this year, Glenn Beck interviewed televangelist James Robison about the dangers of Glee, which Robison said was being used by “the Enemy” to “bring us down.” Today at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s summit in Washington D.C., Beck said that not only is Glee sending a “horrifying” message to children but that he will create his own “Oedipus project” to “push back” against Glee’s supposedly harmful cultural impact. Watch: It was a year ago I was watching the show Glee with my wife and we watched it like this... MORE
