Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) president Michael Farris, who last year warned that children who wear glasses may be placed under the control of the United Nations, is now wondering if President Obama will ban homeschooling with an executive order.
Farris yesterday spoke to Jim Schneider of VCY America on Crosstalk about the legal dispute between his HSLDA and the Justice Department in the case of German citizen Uwe Romeike. Romeike is seeking asylum in the U.S. in order to homeschool his children as it is banned in Germany.
HSLDA claims that the German government is suppressing... MORE

Televangelist Pat Robertson has, like so many on the Right, turned very quickly from advocating awareness of climate change to denying that it exists at all. On today’s 700 Club, Robertson laughs off a recent Princeton University study that found that climate change is increasing the rate of blizzards while leading to a drop in total snowfall.
Without a hint of self-awareness, Robertson claims that climate scientists are simply elitist ideologues who will hold onto their beliefs in global warming no matter what.
“Only in Princeton would people say nutty things like that,”... MORE

Well this comes as no surprise.
Larry Klayman, the birther attorney who is now calling for an armed revolution against President Obama, is representing a new group of Tea Party members defending Sheriff Joe Arpaio from a potential recall election.
The Judicial Watch founder is threatening to sue activists who are collecting petitions to recall the Maricopa County, Arizona sheriff. In a video posted by Arizona Nightly News, Klayman ironically calls Arpaio opponents “vigilantes” who seek to “harass” the sheriff and distorts state election law to claim that the... MORE

Earlier this month we broke the story that Tim Tebow was scheduled to appear at a megachurch led by far-right pastor Robert Jeffress. Today, Tebow announced on Twitter that he is pulling out of the event “due to new information that has been brought to my attention.”
Jeffress has claimed that Roman Catholicism is Satanic, criticized Mormonism and Islam as faiths from the “pit of Hell,” warned that President Obama is ushering in the Antichrist and frequently attacked gays and lesbians.
The preacher has been making the rounds on conservative media denying claims about... MORE

Ted Nugent, who last year wondered “if it would have been best if the South had one the Civil War,” now claims that he is defending African Americans against their real enemy: President Obama. Nugent, who has described Obama voters as “subhuman varmint[s]” and “pimps whores & welfare brats” and criticized civil rights activists for “lisping their ebonic mumbo-jumbo,” is out with a new WorldNetDaily column which argues that Obama and his Democratic allies “have raped and plundered black America.”
Nugent maintains that Obama, whom... MORE

For some reason, Mitt Romney will speak at CPAC. The American Family Association has joined the fun by filing a lawsuit over the contraception mandate. CWA's Janice Shaw Crouse wishes Beyoncé would stop being such a tart. The Cornwall Alliance will help you to "arm yourself and your friends against the fatal cult of anti-humanism!" Gary Cass is once again outraged. Finally, Bryan Fischer is quite enamored with Sen. Ted Cruz. MORE

The Family Research Council hosted a panel discussion Wednesday on religious liberty in America. If you have paid any attention at all to the frantic warnings from FRC’s Tony Perkins that tyranny is on the march, you could have guessed what was coming. The overall theme of the conversation was that the HHS mandate for insurance coverage of contraception is a dire threat to religious freedom in America. So are the advance of marriage equality and laws against anti-gay discrimination – or the “sexual liberty agenda.”
The panel featured three lawyers:... MORE

Conservative columnist Erik Rush has been warning over and over again that President Obama and his Democratic (and Chinese) allies are bent on creating a one-party, anti-Christian, communist state. But as we learn in Rush’s latest column, the leaders of the Republican Party support the looming Obama dictatorship as well!
Leaving aside for the moment the likelihood that parties and party politics in America will become moot within the next few years (owing to the emergence of a single party or the country’s dissolution into civil war), conservatives and libertarians are finding... MORE

Yesterday, we reported on how Accuracy In Media’s Cliff Kincaid and Rick Wiles of TruNews believe that President Obama is supporting a global Islamist movement and should be arrested.
But that’s not all.
According to Wiles, people are having strange dreams where people eat a “fake manna” that represents “Lucifer trying to replicate what God did and feeding his people,” leading to a new demonic “spiritual transformation.”
Kincaid linked those dreams back to… Al Jazeera’s purchase of Current TV, which he claims proves that Al Gore is... MORE
