The number of Republicans who believe in evolution has actually gone down since 2009 and is now a minority viewpoint.
We can only imagine how Religious Right activists would react if the Obama administration decided to have the government cover the costs of abortion services, but since it is the Israeli government they probably won’t say anything.
Liberty University is teaming up with the Trinity Broadcasting Network for a New Year’s Eve party and the re-launch of their “edgy” network, JUCE TV.

Jim Garrow today appeared on Erik Rush’s radio show to promote the Operation American Spring rally, where he predicted that President Obama will try to distract Americans from his supposed scandals…by claiming that he is now in touch with alien life.
This must be Obama’s Plan B, as Garrow previously claimed that Obama almost launched a devastating nuclear attack on the US with the goal of killing 90% of Americans in order to help George Soros make money.
“What we’re going to see soon is an unveiling of the concept that we have in fact been contacted by and have... MORE

Conservative activists including Jim Garrow, Erik Rush and Paul Vallely are pushing a rally called Operation American Spring demanding the overthrow of President Obama. Of course, in November, Larry Klayman held a similar rally calling for Obama’s ousting that he hoped would draw millions of people, but only drew about one hundred Tea Party activists.
The organizer, Harry Riley, predicts that “millions of Americans will participate” but warns that “patriots may be killed, wounded, incarcerated” and harassed by the government. After successfully overthrowing Obama... MORE

William Murray’s Government Is Not God PAC is deeply troubled by US-sponsored efforts to fight HIV/AIDS in Central America. As the HIV/AIDS Alliance notes, the prevalence of HIV is especially high “among sex workers, transgender people, and men who have sex with men.”
But Murray’s organization, citing a WorldNetDaily article, is upset that the Obama administration wants to “attack heterosexual norms” and “encourage sexuality and gender-equal workplace policies.”
“These are individuals who are mentally ill and need treatment,” the... MORE

With the year coming to a close, we decided to see how the GOP’s “bold” and “radical” autopsy report [PDF] was fairing.
After a devastating loss in 2012, Republicans claimed that they didn’t need to change themselves or their platform, but only cosmetic attributes such as their rhetoric and presentation. Other right-wing activists simply pretended that Republicans actually won the last election.
But if the actions taken this year by Republican leaders are any clue, it looks like Republicans either ignored or outright rejected even the superficial... MORE

Conservative leaders stooped to new lows of extremism and bigotry this year, not to mention their ridiculous endeavors such as the pointless but damaging government shutdown and the delusional War on Christmas.
Every year we “honor” our radical friends on the Far Right with the Equine Posterior Achievement Award, and you the reader get to decide who will take the grand prize.
Take a minute to vote here, and check out the nominees for 2013:
Sarah Palin: The reality TV star and former one-and-a-half-year governor has been pushing the War on Christmas hoax, even citing Thomas... MORE

Paul Vallely, a former general who now works as a conservative activist and Fox News analyst, suggested in a recent interview that President Obama should face citizen’s arrest for his supposedly treasonous crimes.
After suggesting that the country hold a “national recall” election, which he admitted has no basis in the constitution, Vallely urged people “get off our derrieres” and protest the government in the millions: “If we’ve got to march in the state capitals, if we’ve got to march in Washington with one hundred million people, then that... The reactions to the "Duck Dynasty" controversy just keep getting more
ridiculous by the day. Tom DeLay is writing a new book in which he urges Congress to simply "pick three unconstitutional programs run
by the federal government each week and pull all funding for them." "Coach" Dave
Daubenmire is worried that "teaching our children to believe in Santa will
eventually lead them to believe that God is also make-believe." Jerome Corsi is producing a series of articles "on the Obama administration’s
