Like Newt Gingrich before him, Dinesh D'Souza was just so focused on saving America that he ended up having an affair. Lee Duigon declares that "the abrupt removal of some millions of Christian children from the anti-Christian public schools would please God and show the world that we mean business." Tim Macy, Vice Chairman of Gun Owners of America, responds to Richard Martinez, father of Christopher Michaels-Martinez who was killed by Elliot Rodger: "[I]f you don’t want the means to defend yourself, your home and family, don’t buy it. But PLEASE quit... MORE

On his radio broadcast today, Glenn Beck delivered a passionate monologue over the plight of Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, the Sudanese woman who is facing execution for refusing to renounce her Christian faith and convert to Islam. Beck is furious that the United States government is not doing enough to rescue Ibrahim, who is the wife of an American citizen as well as a new mother, declaring that this nation has gone "so dead inside" that it is now becoming "a badge of global and possibly eternal dishonor" to be an American citizen. "What is it that you believe in?"... MORE

Matthew Hagee kicked off this week's "Hagee Hotline" by informing his viewers that in situations where "men are saying things that contradict God's word, God's word is accurate and men are wrong" ... and that is why Christians should not believe in climate change. As Hagee explained, the views put forth by scientists and experts on any subject are not to be believed if those views are at odds with what the Bible teaches. As such, the extreme weather events that the climate has been experiencing are not the result of climate change but are rather signs of the... MORE

RWW’s Paranoia-Rama takes a look at five of the week’s most absurd conspiracy theories from the Right. As the Radical Right continues its never-ending quest to stoop to new lows, this week conservative activists and Republican politicians claimed that progressives are sanctioning rape, planning to scrap the First Amendment and causing mass shootings by supporting marriage equality. 5) First Amendment About To Be Repealed It seems that Ted Cruz isn’t even trying to pretend that he is anything more than a shameless con artist. The Texas senator told a summit of Religious... MORE

In a piece published today on the Charisma website, Tom Snyder and Ted Baehr of Movieguide assert that the real cause of Elliot Rodger's murder spree was anti-Christian bigotry within the media. As Snyder and Baehr see it, Hollywood and television have systemically promoted an "anti-Christian, unbiblical view of sexual morality" through a "pagan ideology" that is "overtly antagonistic" to Christianity and which has turned people away from God and into "narcissistic monsters." As a result, "this anti-Christian bigotry in the mass media has... MORE

Writing yesterday in the Christian Post, Rev. Mark Creech delved into the debate within the United Methodist Church over homosexuality by blasting LGBT-affirming reconciling congregations as a traitorous “fifth column” within the denomination. Creech, who leads North Carolina’s American Family Association affiliate, the Christian Action League, said that such churches are participating in “the onslaughts of the Evil One” and “spiritual whoredom,” and urged anti-LGBT congregations to “to cordon off and separate from that ‘fifth column.... Rejecting the claims of Religious Right activists who warned that Houston’s proposed Equal Rights Ordinance was a demonic attempt to aid sexual predators, the Houston City Council voted 11-6 this week to approve the LGBT-inclusive nondiscrimination measure. In an appearance on “The Janet Mefferd Show" yesterday, Jonathan Saenz of the group Texas Values reacted to the city council’s decision by declaring that the ordinance presented a “public safety risk.” Saenz alleged that it would empower “sexual predators” to “terrorize women and... Alan Keyes, who is apparently under the impression that gay rights laws will turn everybody gay and create a childless society, writes today in WorldNetDaily that gay rights advocates are promoting the “extinction of humanity.” In a column titled “Homosexual ‘Rights’: Suicide For Humanity?,” Keyes alleges that gay rights have no place in America because “the homosexual couple is not engaged in the act of human procreation.” “If genocide is wrong for this or that race of human beings, how can self-inflicted genocide be right for humanity as... Following the Republican Party's embarrassing showing in the 2012 elections, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus put together a task force to analyze just what was wrong with the party and which eventually resulted in the release of a report that found that the GOP's ultra-right-wing ideology was making it increasingly unappealing to voters who see the party as nothing but a bunch of "narrow-minded" and "out of touch ... stuffy old men." Naturally, the GOP has then gone about systematically ignoring all of the recommendations made in this autopsy report, which is why an... MORE
