Momentum to oppose President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Neil Gorsuch, is building across the country. Today a letter from North Dakota activist Kate Black appeared in The Bismarck Tribune. Black urged Senator Heidi Heitkamp to oppose Judge Gorsuch, based on his troubling record of hostility to women’s rights and his penchant to put corporations ahead of everyday Americans.

Black wrote:

There’s such a high standard for who sits on the Supreme Court — it’s a lifetime appointment that helps to shape the future of our country for decades. Gorsuch doesn’t have the respect for the Constitution, or the respect for fundamental principles like equality for all, to merit a spot on the nation’s highest court.
