On March 9, People For the American Way hosted a member-exclusive briefing on the launch of our new campaign, #HerFightOurFight, which will focus on securing the Senate confirmations of highly qualified women of color nominated for executive branch and judicial posts by the Biden administration, and who are facing racist and sexist attacks from the Far Right.

People For President Ben Jealous was joined by special guests Shirley Sherrod and Jheanelle Wilkins, a member of our Young Elected Officials network, to discuss our strategy for raising up women of color leaders and countering the many partisan and offensive attacks they face.
