Policy Initiatives Manager in Washington, DC

Serve as policy liaison for internal teams to support engagement and training strategies for volunteers to participate in public education and advocacy campaigns.

Research federal and state policies on a range of issues central to the organization’s mission.

Conduct comparative research on policies in other western democracies and developing countries.

Draft reports, public testimony, fact sheets, and other materials for advocacy campaigns on federal and state democracy issues.


Must have bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Government, International Relations, or related field and six months of community or student organizing experience.

Must have at least six months of experience in community or student organizing for policy advocacy.

Must have experience developing training resources for advocacy campaign volunteers.
