In response to Utah’s approval of a new four-seat Congressional map, People For the American Way president Ralph G. Neas released the following statement:

“It’s welcome news to hear Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr. will approve his state’s new four-seat Congressional map. This action provides critical balance with long overdue representation for the nation’s capital. Congress must immediately pass H.R. 5388. The fight for full federal representation for DC is long from over, but DC residents should not have to keep waiting to be heard.”
