Gold Star father and People For the American Way board member Khizr Khan today announced his endorsement of Paulette Jordan to be the next governor of Idaho.

“Paulette Jordan is a progressive champion who has shown that she will stand up for health care, education, and inclusive communities.

“Paulette truly represents the future of our politics. If elected, she would become the first Native American governor in United States history. She has a vision for an America where everyone has a seat at the table—not just those who have traditionally held political power.

“I’m thrilled to stand with Paulette and to endorse a leader who I know will fight to protect the fundamental rights and values that make our country what it is.”

People For the American Way endorsed Paulette Jordan as part of its Next Up Victory Fund, designed to help progressive candidates age 40 and under win campaigns for state and local office.
