Not only have they confirmed 40 judges to lifetime positions, the highest number in 40 years, they have made good on their commitment to ensure that these judges are professionally and demographically diverse and have a demonstrable commitment to civil rights and equal justice. These new judges are the best of the best in our country and make no mistake, people’s lives will be changed for the better because of them. We are proud to have supported them as nominees and proud of the Senate, Leader Schumer and Judiciary Committee Chair Durbin for their work in confirming them.”
