“We are very pleased that Dale Ho is one step closer to a seat on the federal bench as a judge who will advance fair representation, racial justice, civil rights and voting rights. He has an extraordinary legal background litigating in multiple appellate and district courts around the country and a long track record with some of the nation’s oldest civil rights organizations, advocating for those who have been disenfranchised and discounted in the fight against voter suppression. If confirmed, Ho will be the second Asian American judge currently seated on the nation’s largest and busiest federal district court. While some Senators continue their attempts to misrepresent him, Ho’s dignified response to personal attacks and his outstanding credentials demonstrate that he is eminently qualified.”
