The People For the American Way Action Fund today announced its endorsement of Alisha Thomas Morgan for State Representative.  Morgan, who is running for reelection in Georgia’s 39th House District, has a distinguished record of progressive activism, including work with People For the American Way Foundation’s Young Elected Officials Network.

People For the American Way President Michael B. Keegan issued the following statement:

“Alisha Thomas Morgan is an extraordinary individual and exactly the kind of person that Georgia needs in the legislature.  In her years as a State Representative, she’s fought for progressive causes, but even more importantly, she’s fought hard for her constituents.  She’s brought tremendous energy and wisdom to the statehouse and I hope that she’ll continue to serve there for many years to come.
