People For the American Way today announced its endorsement of Scott Wallace to represent Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District. PFAW President Michael Keegan issued the following statement:

“Scott Wallace is exactly the kind of progressive champion that we need in congress. He’s made clear that in Washington he’ll be a fighter for quality, affordable healthcare for all Americans and for clean energy policies we need to address climate change. He’s got an ambitious platform to take on the Supreme Court’s disastrous decision in Citizens United and to enact real redistricting reform to make sure that voters choose their representatives, not the other way around. The PFAW rarely endorses in primaries, but Scott has demonstrated his deep commitment to defending progressive values again and again. That’s a record we want to support. I’m proud to endorse him to be elected to Congress.”
