We have chosen the first woman of color to serve in our nation’s second-highest elected office. So today, our hearts are full; at the same time, our hands are ready for more work ahead. We are ready to repair the damage of the Trump years, to strengthen health care and voting rights and end violent policing; to assure a future for our Dreamers; to address the far-right capture of our courts, and so much more. People For the American Way will be a leader in this transformative and restorative work, and we can’t wait to get started as we rediscover the promise of America to all its people.”
