A pro-Democratic coalition called “Not Above the Law” held a Thursday afternoon rally on the National Mall ahead of former President Donald Trump’s historic arraignment in Washington, D.C. Organizers said the rally supports the indictment and said their press conference is the first event in a series of the “Not Above the Law coalition’s Our Freedoms, Our Votes” happening nationwide. The group said Trump needs to be held accountable for allegedly inciting the Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol.
