Senators Must Prioritize Confirming Judges Now!

We can’t afford to wait for justice – or fair-minded judges. Right now, there are amazing judicial nominees nominees who have gone through the whole process of being nominated, having confirmation hearings and being voted out of committee. They spent the last weeks of 2023 waiting for a final confirmation vote on the floor in the hopes of taking their seats on the bench. Many of those nominees have now been re-nominated, voted out again by the Senate Judiciary Committee and are now on the calendar along with a number of others awaiting votes by the full Senate. 

We need these highly qualified, fair-minded judges on the bench. The Senate must make judicial nominations a priority before the end of 2024!

The Trump administration prioritized getting MAGA judges confirmed, pushing far too many of our federal court benches to the right. We need to confirm Biden judges who will make our justice system work for all of us, not just the wealthy and powerful. But the Senate is falling behind on confirming these judges.
