This year’s election for the state’s highest court will be critically important in a crucial swing state that saw legal challenges to the 2020 presidential election results and could see similar challenges in 2024, and as the court considers cases on abortion rights and gun control. Judge McCaffery’s commitment to justice and to the people of Pennsylvania, as a US Army veteran and throughout his more than 30 years of public service as a judge and former assistant district attorney, will make him a well-qualified and fair-minded addition to the court. We are confident that the people of Pennsylvania will elect Judge McCaffery to serve as their newest supreme court justice.”
