“We applaud members of the House and Senate for reintroducing the Freedom to Vote Act. With states across the country working to pass bills that attack our freedom to vote, disproportionately impacting Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities, people with disabilities, college students, low-income voters, and so many more, we urgently need federal action to stop the attacks. The Freedom to Vote Act is vital for the protection of our rights and our democracy, and its passage can’t wait.”
