WASHINGTON, D.C.— Following the release today of the House Intelligence Committee’s report on the impeachment inquiry to date, People For the American Way President Michael Keegan released the following statement:

“Chairman Adam Schiff has done exactly what he said he would do in issuing this Intelligence Committee report, which is to lay out the facts as the committee has heard them from a parade of witnesses with impeccable credentials. And the facts are damning. President Trump put his own interests ahead of the country and ahead of national security in an attempt to improve his chances of reelection. It’s now up to the Judiciary Committee to determine next steps, but all the evidence is there that impeachable offenses were committed.”
