Judge Jackson Has Always Worked for Equal Justice: Richard Ray

People For in Action

Deaf advocate Richard Ray tells the story of his experience with Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, and how she has worked to ensure equal justice for all. At the time, he was an advocate on the case of William Pierce, a deaf inmate who was denied American Sign Language interpreters and placed in solitary confinement – and who received justice thanks to the fair-minded judicial review of Judge Jackson.
